How to Set Up TP-Link Smart Plug to Wifi with iPhone – Remote Control Lights with TP-Link Wireless - Duration: 2:29.

TP-Link Smart Plugs are a great way to start building a connected home.

In this video, I'll show you how to link the plug to your phone so you can control devices

like a lamp.

First you'll have to download and launch the KASA app.

The first time it's opened you'll have to create an account.

Just enter your email and create a password.

When your information has been submitted, check your email and follow the instructions

to verify your account.

Going back to the KASA app, tap the Plus button at the top and find the TP-Link device you

want to connect.

Now plug the module into an AC outlet to power it up and then tap Next in the app.

Now the TP-Link Plug should be blinking orange and green.

If it is, hit the Next button.

Now let's go to the phone's Wifi Settings and connect to the plug's Wifi signal.

Mine shows up as TP-Link_Smart Plug A5EF.

This is just like connecting to any Wifi hub.

Here I can confirm the connection.

Now go back to the KASA app and tap on the button that says "I'm connected to my Smart

Plug's Wi-Fi".

On this screen you can name the TP-Link device with a name that's easy for you to remember.

Then hit Next.

You can even choose an icon for the device but I'll leave mine as the default.

On the next screen you will have to connect back to your home's Wifi network.

It'll also ask for your Wifi password.

Enter the password and tap Next.

After a few seconds the TP-Link Smart Plug will be set up and ready to use!

Tap Done and the new device is now listed in the app.

Here I've now moved the switch to another room where I've got a table lamp plugged into

it.

To turn on the light, just tap the power button next to the name of the switch you want to

control.

This button is just a simple on-off switch but the app has other functions like a Total

Runtime counter in addition to being able to schedule, set timers and control the switch

when away from home.

I hope you found this video helpful and if you did please give me a thumbs up and don't

forget to subscribe to my channel TheRenderQ for more how-to videos and product reviews.

Alexander Katchalov: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know || CACAO TV - Duration: 8:23.

Alexander Katchalov: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

A 21-year-old gymnast from Florida has been arrested and charged with position of child pornography in the latest scandal to rock the sport.

Alexander Katchalov was taken into custody on January 30 by the Polk County Sheriff in Lakeland, Florida, just outside of Tampa.

Katchalov is a coach at Elite World Gymnastics Training Complex in the town.

In total, Katchalov is charged with 22 counts of child pornography and is being held at Polk County Jail.

Additional charges are pending in the case.

WFLA reports that detectives found 21 videos and images of boys and girls "being sexually battered or displayed in a lewd manner." The station says that Katchalov has admitted to downloading child pornography and has been doing so since 2011.

The suspect has also said that he never abused a child and that he thought he had his problem under control.

The children in question were between the ages of 3 and 12 years old.

Here's what you need to know:.

Detectives Found 'Thousands & Thousands' of Files of Child Pornography.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd told the media that Katchalov coached children between the ages of 3 and 15.

According to the gym's website, it is operated by Katchalov's parents, Misha and Irina.

The Fox Tampa Bay report says that detectives found "thousands and thousands" of files related to child pornography, some of the devices for downloading were located at the training complex.

Authorities Believe There Could Be More Victims.

Sheriff Judd told the media that detectives do not believe that Katchalov abused children or created child pornography himself.

Judd said, "We know those that download and engage in child porn, both still photographs and videos, have a proclivity to or are subject to abusing children.

There's absolutely no evidence Alexander has done that at this time.

But there are a lot of people who do business here and they have very young children down to three years of age… We want to make sure we don't miss anything at all… If a child has ever come home and said he or she was inappropriately touched, we want to know about it.".

The WFLA report includes the information that Katchalov told authorities that he would go online posing as a teenager in attempts to solicit child pornography.

According to Fox Tampa Bay, the sheriff's department were led to Katchalov thanks to a tip.

Katchalov Appeared in International Trampoline & Tumbling Competitions.

Katchalov's profile at the U.S.

Gymnastics website says that he has appeared in competitions as far away as Sofia, Bulgaria.

His program was in trampoline and tumbling.

Katchalov last appeared in a competition in Utah in 2015.

On his Facebook page, Katchalov says that he also works at a 2Infinity Extreme Air Sports facility in Lakeland, starting in the job in September 2016.

That same month, Katchalov said he was in a relationship, though in his about section, Katchalov says he's single.

In his bio, Katchalov says that was home schooled.

Katchalov created a Go Fund Me page to help him raise money for a paintball field in Lakeland.

The campaign goal of $1 million received no bids.

The description of the plan reads verbatim:.

Hello my name is Alexander.

I am looking to start a paintball park for every one to enjoy and have a amazing time.

the funds will go tords the field to get all the proper safty equipment and all the props and every thing we will need too be abule to open the doors! We want to make a famaly friendly environment.

follow us and soport usThank you so much.

The Elite World Gymnastics Gym Is Run by Katchalov's Sister & Brother In Law.

A blurb on the Elite World Gymnastics website reads in part, "Together, as a family, Owners Misha and Irina Katchalov strive to push every athlete to the best of their ability and they see every child as a unique individual." The gym is a family affair with Katchalov's sister, Kristina Katchalova Muzzarelli, being the manager, according to her Facebook page. Her husband is Andrew Muzzarelli, according to his Facebook page he is also a coach at Elite World Gymnastics.

That profile says that Muzzarelli is also a performer with Cirque du Soleil.

This Is the 2nd Child Sex Crime the Gym Has Been Linked to in the Last 4 Years.

This is the second time in four years that the Elite World Gymnastics gym has been linked to a child sex crime.

In July 2014, the Tampa Bay Times reported that Justin Thomas Henry, 21, was arrested and accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

At the time of his arrest, Henry was a coach at the gym.

The Times report said at the time that Henry was found in his victim's closet by the girl's mother.

A few months earlier, Henry was arrested for taking three minor girls to Clearwater, Florida, without their parent's permission.

It was alleged that Henry had allowed the girl's to drink alcohol and asked one "when he could call her his girlfriend," the Times report says.

Online records show that Henry remains in prison in Florida on charges of child molestation and battery.

Get Up Get Out Get Gone - If Not Now, When?? - Duration: 7:03.

Hey beautiful people.

We are currently in Hanoi, Vietnam.

How we got here and why coming up.

Hello beautiful people.

Welcome back and thanks for joining us again.

For those of you that are here for the first time, thanks for watching!

Lea and I recently put up our first YouTube video about our life abroad.

We had such a great time making that video but we had even more fun living the life that

inspired that video.

In fact, many of you have responded so well to that video that we've decided to take those

questions you posed, either in the comments section or private messages and make a video

about those.

So!

Here we go.

You are over 40 and you just started living abroad.

Why now?

Why not now?

If not now, then when? Actually, the age question is rather valid.

I've been trying to get abroad some 7 plus years and I don't think that my age really

should have anything to do with living a life that I want to live.

So, being over 40 doesn't matter.

Why now?

Well, I finally got tired of trying to live a conventional lifestyle and I emphasize "trying"

So now, I'm out and living abroad.

My answer is really simple.

I stopped buying into the "American Dream".

I got the college education, I got the house, the corporate job that allotted me just one

week of vacation and I love to travel and being at this job would not allow me to do

that so I made a change.

We also often get asked how did you end up where you are?

Currently we are in Hanoi, Vietnam but my journey overseeas started in South Korea.

So I had to transition from the U.S to South Korea.

And THIS is how I did it!

I took the first job I could find.

I bought the chepest plane ticket.

I packed my bags.

Threw up the dueces and I was out.

...Special.

OK so unlike my Type A, outgoing, dive in with both feet first counterpart here, I did

not have that luxury.

There were other things that I needed to consider - mainly how I was going to be treated with

my skin color.

I did, maybe, 6 months worth of research.

I looked at Facebook, other people's journey's, I looked at vlogs, I looked at blogs, I read

a lot about the political climate and the economic climate before I made my decision

so it took me a little bit longer.

That's how you ended up in Korea.

Aaaand that's how I ended up in Korea.

Where we met.

Where we met.

Here's a question that we also get asked a lot.

How do you afford this travel lifestyle?

First of all, and this is a very important distinction, we are not just traveling, we

are living abroad.

Now that does make traveling easier but we are not on vacation, we are not on extended

holiday, we are not independently wealthy - student loans, I'll get back at you at some point

We had to go out and get a job!

Now, we currently work as ESL instructors and that is a very, very common job for expats

to have but it is not the only way for you to feed and shelter yourself.

So the job that you're doing right now see if there's an opening abroad.

There are openings her for web designers, freelance writers, tour guides, tutors, English

teachers.

There's something out there for everyone.

You just need to find what's available to you.

Something else that I hear alot when I'm talking about my life abroad is people saying, you're

so courageous.

You're so brave and I'm always taken aback by that because I see myself living a life

that I've wanted to live for such a long time that I've seem to have forgotten there was

a point where I was too afriad to get up, get out, and get gone.

I wasn't ready.

I had to convince myself.

I had to brace the uncertainty of what was out there and I suppose in those moments that

was an act of courage.

Maybe I was being brave in that moment so I'm working on trying to not be so distant

when people make that kind of comment to me.

Do people ask you if you're brave or courageous?

They do but I hear it from a different perspective.

So I hear, you're so brave because black people don't travel.

Hello.

That's obviously not true.

I'm not going to say this lifsyle doesn't have its' own specific challenges because

it does.

I can not stress enough how many times in both Vietnam and Korea where I am often the

first black person that people have seen either in the flesh or have spoken to in person.

These interactions allow me to challenge misconceptions that they have grown up with.

We all live in Africa.

No we don't all listen to rap!

Nope, we are not all uneducated.

So, for some of these statements, people can really be offended by them or you can use

it as an opportunity for growth.

I don't necessarily see this as being "brave but I do appreciate the love and support that

I get from my family for being able to step out into this unknown.

I know there are a lot of you that want to make some kind of major change in your life

in your life and maybe it's just to travel more.

Americans!

Please travel more!!

But I do know that some of you specifically want to relocate and live abroad.

And you need to know this.

This is very important.

You can live abroad with debt.

You can live abroad with family and you most certainly can live abroad over the age of

40.

I mean really...... come on.

I think that those of you that feel something for this are watching this video for a reason

and no one understands more than us that change can be scary.

It can be really daunting but what's even more unsettling is the possibility that you

may have convinced yourself of complacency instead of pursuing what if.

What if you went back and got that college degree?

What if you asked for that raise that you know you deserve?

What if you relocated to another city or what if you started researching traveling abroad?

So the other thing we want to make sure that we reiterate is that you are not alone in

this process.

You are not the first person to contemplate making a change in your life.

That's one of the reasons that we're doing these videos.

If you want to live abroad, there are resources.

There are people on Facebook, there are people on Instagram.

We welcome your comments and questions.

Anything that you can use to keep you inspired.

Lea's right.

There are many social media platforms out there that can actually be tools for interacting

with people that are on the go right now.

People that are living abroad.

Consider us.

Comment in the video below, like, get a dialogue started between us, between other people who

are living abroad.

Check out Facebook groups that support the very country or city that you might be interested

in living in.

Make sure you get the information that you need and then come join us out here in the world.

This is a big, beautiful place.

We want to see you in it.

Again, thanks so much for watching and we will see you on our next video coming up soon.

Scammed at the Border - Duration: 4:30.

Hello!

Guess where I am at now?!

I'm here in Laos!

Whoooo, I'm excited!

Yeah, I miss Vietnam. I miss it!

But I was ready for a new adventure

New places, new people to meet.

New things to explore

But there's one thing I was not happy about

Whoooo, it's awful

I was scammed at the border

Ok, let me go back and explain

Before I went through the border, I had done my research

So that way I know what to expect

Money, if I have to pay for the visa

So I did saw that I would have to pay for the visa.

It's required to pay in US Dollars

to pay for the visa

So I saw and I was fine with it. I was ready

So when I finally arrived at the border

They did ask me if I have a passport picture

I said no

They said ok, it's $5

So I was like $5 for a picture?!

They said yes

I already knew but whooo

So fine, I literally went and let them take my picture

It was fast!

They said ok, thank you

Then they gave me immigration forms to fill out

They ask for passport numbers, country you're from, your reasons for traveling, etc.

So I filled out the forms

I gave them the forms and passport

They said ok, it's $35 for a visa

It's $35 for my country, the US

But for other countries, there are different prices for the visa

I did take a picture so I will show you the prices if you want to go into Laos

So that's how much the prices are

So keep that in mind

So lucky, I already had the exact change of $35

Why? if you pay more, sometime they won't give you the right change back

Sometime the change will be in different currency so the conversion rates are not always good

So later when I went to the next window

They charged me $2

I was like $2? They said yes, it's $2 for stamp fee

So I was like fine, I paid it. The $2

Then I went to the next window.

They said ok it's $3

Then I was like $3?!

They said yeah for a tourist fee

I was like fine

Then the last window where they stamped and signed my visa

They charged me

It sucks!

It really sucks that they charged everytime

Really, there was another thing. I saw it and I just left.

I walked right past!

Sometime they would charge you to take their health test

Meaning they would test you to see if you're sick with a thermometer

Really, they just want to charge you $1-$2 to take their "sickness test"

So I felt really disguested

Why?

Do you think that money will go to the government?

Do you think that money will go to the country?

NOPE

Sometime they will keep the money to themselves

And it sucks because they know they have the power to

And if you decide not to pay

Guess what?

You don't get your passport back

Yeah, it's awful

That's one negative thing about traveling

Sometime you will face that type of situation

where people involved in the government have the power to do something like that

So what's the total of how much I spent for a Laos visa?

When you go out and travel, you are bound to get scammed anyway

Thank you for watching!

Peace!

How is a Roth IRA Different from a Traditional IRA? - Duration: 1:36.

The question I often get when I meet with clients is, "what's the difference between

a traditional IRA and a Roth IRA?"

Well, let's discuss the similarities and the differences about the IRA's.

The similarities are, they're retirement accounts, specified under the IRS tax code.

That allows you to put money in and get some sort of special tax treatment as the money grows.

With a Roth IRA, you don't take a tax deduction when you put money in - it's an after tax contribution.

Then that money will grow, tax free, as well as the distributions, the withdrawals from

the accounts, will be completely tax free at withdrawal.

The other nice thing about a Roth IRA is that there is no required minimum distribution,

much like there is with a traditional IRA at age 70 and a half.

Now, with the traditional IRA, a little bit different, is it's a tax deduction when

you put the money in.

So you get to write it off on your taxes.

Then that money will grow tax deferred, meaning that when you start to withdraw the money,

you will pay ordinary income taxes on those withdrawals.

The other thing is, at age 70 and a half, you'll be required to start pulling some money

out, if there is still money in that account.

Those are the chief differences between the Roth IRA and the traditional IRA.

If you have any more questions, please visit our Web site at PureFinancial.com,

and we'd be happy to help you.

WAG Cooking Show: Super Bowl Special - Duration: 6:14.

[Christian] Hey guys I'm Christian Lucero. [Cody] And I'm Cody Anderson. [Christian] We're gonna show you a

couple of different recipes that - if you're hosting a party and everybody

there counts macros, they'll love you. And then if you're going to somebody's house

these are things you can bring that will help you just have a successful

Sunday and not go way overboard on your macros. First thing is gonna be the Super Bowl potato skins.

[Cody] Got stuffed quinoa peppers... [Christian] and then lastly we've got the buffalo turkey lettuce wraps.

All this stuff is - we've pre-weighed and measured

so obviously we're not going to be doing that for you, so just know that on the

recipes, you're gonna have to do that yourself. [Cody] So you're gonna want to have

some hollowed-out potatoes already, so these have been cooked and hollowed out

just to kind of help with not going overboard in the carbs and we've got a

green bell pepper and 70 grams of cauliflower. And the first thing we do is

just dice that... [Christian] *coughs* Sorry. Don't cough on the food.

[Cody] So we've got a mixing bowl, we're gonna mix our bell pepper, cauliflower and diced ham all together.

Once we've got that mixed up we're gonna load it into the potato skins

and our hands are clean, we washed them before... [Christian] We definitely washed our hands, we didn't just workout and then

come in and do this. [Cody] No sweaty barbell hands.

[Christian] Alright... Yup "Salt Bae"' it up.

So these guys are gonna go in the oven - oh it's touchscreen, fancy. [Cody] Never used this before

So we're moving on to stuffed quinoa peppers while those are cooking up

so first thing we're gonna want to do is I need to get a tablespoon of olive oil

into my sauté pan and while I'm doing that we also need to chop our yellow

onion and mince our garlic cloves, two of them. alright so we're just gonna stick

this stuff into the sauté pan.

[Christian] And we're back with the onions you really want to get them guys nice and

jumpin a nice golden brown color [Cody] Translucent? [Christian] Yeah you want to make sure

them guys are jumping out the pan that's how you know it's ready for that turkey to go on.

[Cody] It's been about five minutes [Christian] Yeah we're delirious...

[Cody] Okay, so ground turkey's next, you got 20 ounces here, we said 99% lean.

Gonna stick that guy in there and cook it up. [Christian] And this is usually the part where I

leave and go watch the game and come back and there's food prepared, but I'll

stick around and see what actually goes on during this part.

Next on the recipe we're gonna add the Italian seasoning so make sure your Italian

seasoning is real Italian - you wanna smell it first - that's Italian and you put it on there.

[Cody] It makes you say "Mamma Mia" [Christian] That goes right on top...

Little-known fact we grew all of this, we grow all of our own stuff here.

[Cody] Grow your own turkey. [Christian] Sustainably sourced here in Oregon. [Cody] We went to Italy to get our seasoning.

[Christian] We got goats out back. He's gonna brown it so he doesn't have to cook it

all the way through - when he's doing that - when you're doing that on the recipe you

don't have to cook it all the way through because it is gonna sit in the

oven for another thirty minutes. And then we're gonna mix that mixture with the

quinoa all in a bowl. I forgot to mention before is gonna be the spinach so that's

gonna go on top of everything. [Cody] After we add the spinach, what do we do?[Christian] Marinara.

[Cody] Marinara. Legalize marinara. Sign the online petition at legalizemarinara.co.uk.gov.edu.org

So we're gonna mix all that up and stick that in the pepper boats.

Through the power of movie magic our onions and garlic are frying up nicely again so next thing we've got to do

Christian is gonna add some cheese to these guys

[Christian] And I'm gonna do the reduced-fat. Sprinkle some of these on here and then throw them back

in the oven for another five minutes. [Cody] In the meantime we'll add 16 ounces of

ground turkey to our buffalo lettuce wrap recipe and we're basically this

gonna cook it the same way we did the last time. [Christian] All right so these, I'm done

playing with these. These are gonna go in the oven for another five minutes and

then we're gonna smash them into our face. [Cody] We're gonna shred 3/4 cups of

carrots and we're going to slice a cup of celery to add in later.

We're gonna add our buffalo sauce, 1/2 cup, we're gonna add it to this, reduce

the heat and let it simmer. I'm just going with a nice julienne cut here

[Christian] Is that what that is? [Cody] I have no idea. All the chef's are probably watching all like "That's not julienne!"

[Christian] Alright I have four.. [Cody] Beautiful lettuce bowls [Christian] I have one beautiful lettuce bowl and three lettuce bowls.

[Cody] Just mediocre ones.I want this one.

Alright so we're just gonna kind of eyeball a quarter of this, scoop a quarter of our turkey mixture into each lettuce bowl.

[Christian] Celery and carrots with the blue cheese on top.

So we finish with all the last-minute toppings, we've plated everything and now

we're gonna go ahead and give them to the Iron Chef to taste. [Cody] That's us.

[Christian] We're gonna taste them, we're gonna enjoy these. Good job!

[Cody] I think we did a good job. [Christian] Mission accomplished. [Cody] I'm proud of what we did today.

Archangel Michael via Celia Fenn The Aquarius Gate ~ Star Gate to a Magical Reality and

the Path of the Lion Heart

by Therese Zumi Sumner

TZ here; Tomorrow morning Tuesday the 30th of January I will post information here about

the TWO meditations planned for this Super Moon Eclipse as they are timed perfectly so

that you can take part in both if you have 30 minutes to spare.

Until then I feel that this very inspiring channeling {I am obliged to ask for reader

discretion with all channeled information} by Celia Fenn will bring you into the right

mood for the meditations on the 31st.

Hope that you enjoy this:

Beloved Friends and Family, you are approaching the time of the Sacred Year when you encounter

the Aquarius Star Gate, and this year this is experienced in conjunction with the Total

Lunar Eclipse in Leo on the 31st of January.

Yet another powerful quantum energy on the Leo/Aquarius axis.

What exactly is the Aquarius Gate, you might ask?

Well, I am sure that you are all familiar with the Lions Gate (8/8) which falls in

early August in the sign of Leo.

The Aquarius Gate is that moment in early February (2/2) when the circular flow of the

Time Spiral brings you to a point exactly opposite the Lions Gate on the great stellar

circle.

This is the moment when the second spiral of the Sacred Year opens up into a cycle of

manifestation.

If you think of the flow of Time/Space as a figure 8, then you will see the first circle

from July/August and the second circle from January/February.

So, now you are about to flow into the journey of the second circle, from now until the New

Year in July of 2018.

But, right now, at this time of creative change over, you are also experiencing a series of

eclipses that affect the Leo/Aquarius Axis.

The most important of these was the Total Solar Eclipse on the 18th of August 2017,

which brought chaotic change especially to the USA where the eclipse was visible.

Then, on the 31st January the present Total Lunar Eclipse will bring deep inner changes

as it transmits the Lunar Codes from the Heart of Alpha Leonis via the Moon.

These new codes will be anchored during the Lunar Eclipse, as you are all urged to dive

deep into your hearts and discover the power of Who You Are.

Beloved Ones, let us speak more of who you are on this Earth Journey and who you are

becoming.

You are Galactic and Stellar Beings and your roots are in the Stars together with your

Soul and Star Tribes.

As you awaken, you will remember, and you will reconnect with the Star Beings and the

Star Elders who are your guides and teachers on the Higher Dimensions of Love and Consciousness.

In this present transition, the bright and royal star Regulus, also known as Alpha Leonis

or the Heart of the Lion, is a major source of inspiration and wisdom for you.

The Solar Teachers of Alpha Leonis and their Golden Light are opening up on Earth the Royal

Path of the Lion Heart.

These are the first steps out of the mundane Third-Dimensional world and into the Magical

Reality of the New Earth.

These Stellar Lion Teachers are working even now to transmit the Lion Codes to you

from Alpha Leonis.

At this time of the Eclipse, you can expect to receive these codes very intensely.

The Lion Codes are very high frequency energies that will activate a sense of excitement

and adventure within you.

You may feel as though you are Alice in Wonderland and that you inhabit a strange and surreal

world.

But then, you may also feel totally exhausted and as if you have no energy, as your physical

body learns how to balance these new frequencies of light.

The essence of the Path of the Lion Heart is adventure and experience on earth.

Life is not meant to be a safe and secure plod from birth to death.

It is meant to be an adventure that excites you and leads you forward from passion to

passion as you create new adventures of love and compassion that become your life.

Beloved Ones, here are the words of Leia the Star Lioness of Alpha Leonis:

Beloved Ones, I am Leia of Alpha Leonis.

I am a Star Lioness and Teacher of our Golden Wisdom.

Remember Beloveds, live life to the fullest and experience all that can be experienced.

Life is a precious gift that is given to you.

It is an adventure to be explored and enjoyed.

Always be courageous as you move forward.

Take reasonable risks as you adventure in Time and Space, trusting that Spirit will

find the right creative spaces for you to be safe.

In this new Quantum Reality, you will soon learn that small risks can take you to great

leaps of faith and creativity, but staying safe will lead to stagnation.

And, as you become familiar with gentle risks, perhaps you will become bolder and more creative,

allowing the rich fabric of life to unfold before you as you trust your creative path

more and more, like a lioness stalking her prey always keeping her focus and her intention

on what is desired.

But Beloveds, as you do this, be self-aware.

Be in the Now moment.

As you watch the Lions on the plains of Africa, you will see that they are always aware of

what is happening around them, in order to participate in the flow of life and creation.

So, you too, must be aware and awake.

Your ability to flourish in the Time/Space energy depends on your focus into the now

moment where Creative Energy arises.

Beloved Ones, have respect for ALL Life Forms.

They all have their place and their mission in the Great River of Life and Death.

No Being is greater or lesser, for they weave the great tapestry of life together as One!

Do not seek for power in the World.

The true power is within and is found in your Heart.

This is the True Wisdom of the Lion Heart.

Protect your Earth, and your Pride (Soul Family) as they are precious gifts of Love

from the Creator that are given to you.

You have One Home called Earth and one Family of Life on Earth, where you are all Related.

Honor that, and Honor Who You Are and your Soul Manifestation on Earth.

Honor your Tribe and your connection to All That Is.

Do not allow anyone to disconnect you from what is rightfully yours in the Great Tree

of Life, for from this tree flows wisdom and creativity and life itself.

Nothing can nurture your Soul better than the Great Tree of Life.

You are given life for a reason.

Your time here is precious, Beloved Co-Creators.

Join together with All Life to create the Great Song of the Earth.

For when you are done you will return to the Stars once again.

I am Leia the Star Lioness of Alpha Leonis.

Gate 2018.

Currently Reading + February TBR 2018 - Duration: 3:14.

Hi. I'm Jay, the Book Bumbler.

Today I'm doing a bit of a combination video of currently reading as well as my February TBR.

All but one of these books somehow came from the library. The other one is going to be on my e-reader,

but I will show you the cover when I get to it. The one that I'm currently reading is

Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America by Michael Eric Dyson.

He is a Baptist minister and a prominent figure among racial discourse. He's actually blurbed by Toni Morrison here.

He starts off this book by telling the reader that he's run out of academic reasons to justify black

existence and that this is a final

personal appeal to the emotions in the form of a sermon that he feels God has called upon him to create.

He also calls upon the 90s rap scene with artists like NWA, Lauryn Hill, and Tupac all raging against police brutality

and he refers to these songs rightly as hymns. As of this recording

I'm only about 45 pages in and I have to return this in about four days. Rest assured

I will be speeding through it.

It is beautifully written and heart-wrenching

snd it makes me swoon in the presence and grace of the Lord. The first book on my TBR is

Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin. It was recommended to me by my managing editor on the basis that it is a good example of

description. I know very little about it other than it was adapted into a movie

and it's horror. The second book on my TBR for this month that I will Vanna White and put in front of my kindle is

Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and Other Lessons from the Crematory by Caitlin Doughty. Caitlin runs the YouTube channel Ask A Mortician and

Is also the runner of the nonprofit The Order of the Good Death. She is an advocate for green burial as well

as knowing your rights as someone who will one day die and what you want done with your body after that happens. She

also wants to eliminate the fear surrounding death and give families the most intimate and best

experience for their grief. If you want to see Caitlin's face, or just want to hear the words from her own mouth,

I will link her below as well as in the cards. tTe last book on my TBR for this month is

Bridge of Words: Esperanto and the Dream of a Universal Language by Esther Schor.

I picked this up at a library book sale for $1, which you can't beat for hardback and

It just seemed interesting to me. I'm especially interested by the fact that

Esperanto was created by a Jewish man from Poland

and he wanted to end tribalism by creating a

language that everyone could speak. Schor is also an award-winning Jewish author herself

So at least in that respect it is Own voices. That's all the books

I'm reading for February. If you have read or are reading any of these books or if there's just one

I'm missing out on leave a comment below. Don't forget to subscribe to see more like this, and I will talk to you soon

Revit Dimensions Tutorial - 12 Tips in 5 Minutes - Duration: 6:25.

Welcome to hyperfine academy, today we're talking Revit dimensions. 12 tips in five

minutes to help you get started and become more efficient with your dimensions.

Tip number one, when working with dimensions it's good to use thin lines. The view right

here shows how Revit will plot your image, with your lineweights that you've assigned.

TL is the thin lines command, you can see that this makes it easier to see your wall

layers, it makes it easier to see things and set your dimensions to them.

Number two, creating dimensions. That's the whole point of this video. Use DI to enter

your dimension tool. Zoom in to what you want to see. The blue line will be what Revit dimensions

to. You can Tab through to get what you want. When the blue line is where you want it, left

click, come find your next object, repeat the process, left click again, then click

off to the side, where you're not going to hit anything, just a blank area and there's

your dimension. Escape Escape will close out the dimension tool.

If you decide you want to change an object that you have dimensioned to, you can see

up here I have actually got the outside of the wall when I wanted the stud, select your

dimension and look for these two leaders. The inner leader, closer to the dimension,

will be what you're actually dimensioning to. You can left click on this, then drag

through and repeat that process from the previous step where I'm just going to tab through

to get what I want. You can see the dimension has moved. This leader here is for dimensional

purposes only. If you want to add dimensions, you closed

it out to early, you can always do that. Select the dimension, edit witness line, and now

we're sort of starting from scratch like we did before, it's just going to add them

to the string. Tab through to get what you want, click off in an empty area and now you've

added those dimensions to the string, it's updated.

To delete dimensions from the string it's just the same process in reverse. Select your

dimension string, edit witness line. Zoom in, you can see that these lines are blue,

that's where Revit actually has a leader attached to. If we click on those again they

will go away. Get both of them, click off to the side, now those dimensions are gone

off your string. To change a dimension to be a value that you

want it to be, the best thing to do is actually model your project correctly. If you have

dimensions going to an object, like this wall, and you select that object, you'll see the

dimension will turn light blue. If you do a single click you'll open it up and you

can just type in what you want. You can see I'll just type 11 space nine and I get 11

feet nine inches. Click off to the side and your dimension is updated.

There are some instances in which you want a rounded dimension. If that's the case,

select your dimension and Edit Type. I hit ET, that's a custom shortcut, more on that

at the end of the video. Duplicate to create a new type and give it a name that makes sense.

Scroll down, look for Units Format, uncheck Use Project Settings and at rounding I will

select the level of detail I want, quarter inch. Now my dimensions are rounded.

Sometimes you might not want a dimension, you just want to show that something, like

a window, is centered in a room. In that case, with your dimension selected just hit this

EQ button, and you'll see that it centers in the room and gives you the EQ symbol. You

can turn off the EQ symbol by pressing that EQ button again and there you'll see the

dimension is even on both sides. You can also change that EQ text by going to Edit Type,

scrolling down and changing it here. I would keep it with the EQ. You can also do this

for multiple items, just keep in mind in this case the centerlines of the windows are evenly

spaced, but not necessarily the space between the windows.

To keep your plans clean and easily readable it's nice to remove unnecessary information.

In this case we don't need zero feet showing when the dimension is only 5-1/2 inches.

If we select the dimension, Edit Type, come back down to Units Format and we will Suppress

0 Feet. Now that zero feet goes away. In some cases you'll want the entire dimension

to read as inches, not just when it's below one foot. This is a time when you're definitely

going to want to Edit Type and Duplicate, so you don't change this for every dimension

in your project. Select your dimension, Edit Type, Duplicate, rename it and come down to

Units Format. We'll choose Fractional Inches. Now my dimension is in inches.

You can also add notes and symbols directly to the dimension if you need them to convey more

information than just the value. Double click directly onto one of these values and it will

open up the Dimension Text dialogue where you can add symbols and text. Plus-Minus is

ALT 0177 on your number pad. You can add centerline symbols to your dimension

strings. I should have done this one earlier, but I forgot and I didn't want to go back

and redo all those number graphics. Select your dimension, Edit Type, scroll down until

you see Centerline Symbol and choose Centerline. Ok, there it is. Any dimension that goes to

the actual centerline of an object will automatically get that symbol. If you didn't have it available,

Load Family, go to Annotations and there it is right there.

And that's it. That was 12 tips in five minutes to help get you started and more proficient

with your Revit projects. I've used a few custom shortcuts in this tutorial. If you

want to get them for free visit www.hyperfinearchitecture.com The link will be in the description. If you

have a request for a specific topic please leave a comment, and thank you for watching.

Alright we got one more. You got a string of dimensions. If you want to break it up

into two or more strings just tab through to the one you don't want and Delete.
