Waching daily Jan 31 2018

I guess a personal goal for 2018 would be to beat SK in a Bo3 in LAN.

It's not just saying that because we play them next, it's because I've only beat them

as best of one in LAN, and best of three is more prestigious in my opinion.

That's a goal.

Also winning a major of course, that's also a goal.

The obvious one would be Quantum Bellator making it to legends stage.

I mean, making it to the major itself was an upset, so to make the legends stage is

a super upset.

I also think it was kind of sad that Astralis didn't make it through, because they're a

solid team that can always put up a good fight for top teams, so the fact that they didn't

make it through kind of sucks.

I think it's a mix of both.

I always strive to make sure I don't make the same mistake twice.

Obviously it's impossible to that, but if I make a mistake, or I do something wrong,

I make sure that the next time I play I try not to do the same thing, and I did that for

however many years.

And I think it's important for me to have a defined team in terms of roles, like when

I was on OpTic with stanislaw we had really defined roles.

We had an IGL, set IGL, set AWPer, set lurker, everything.

So I was really comfortable with where I was at, and then when stanislaw left we had no

set IGL, and the roles got all messed up, like Mixwell stopped AWPing at one point.

It was really hard for me to find my place, and that's when I had a streak of not playing

well, but the whole team was pretty bad at that point.

But that was granted because we didn't have an IGL.

But the point is that, on Cloud9, the roles are really, really set in stone and defined,

and I am really comfortable with the way it is.

I think a player like Xyp9x would be good for me.

I don't think he would ever leave Astralis, but the point is that he's a solid CT player.

I think I'm similar in that.

He's also a pretty rock solid T player, he's not really a flashy player, but he makes not

many mistakes and I feel like I'm sort of similar to that.

I would say right now there's an unspoken rivalry between us.

I think most of us are friends though, outside of the game.

So it's not like we despise each other.

Even in-game I feel like we joke around, but I think there is a rivalry for sure in the

making.

The opportunity to climb the ranks into Rank S and get noticed is definitely there.

That's the whole point of it, for players to grind in pugs and get noticed by pro players.

But I think the way that the game is played in Rank S, and the way that the environment

is it's harder for players to get better and show their true skill, because there hasn't

been many players that have been in Rank S that have actually gone to a pro team recently.

So I think right now it's kind of rare, but the opportunity is definitely there.

I think NA has been on the rise the last few years because of teams like SK and Immortals

coming to NA.

They bring a lot of good practice, and I think it brings motivation as well to see them,

even though they're playing in the NA scene, they're winning tournaments, being at the

top of the world.

I think seeing that helped a lot, and like I said, practicing versus them is also huge.

Cloud9 is good to play for because they have all the fans basically, and the org itself

is huge.

It kind of reminds me of OpTic, but I think we have more CS fans here on Cloud9, so I'm

really happy for that.

I learned on OpTic my true potential as a player, I think.

I learned that I can play with the best at any moment and win a game at any moment as

well for us, whether it be—because obviously, like I said, it's important to have the IGL

aspect—so I think having an IGL that knows how to direct me

is important.

How to Do LESS and Get MORE With the Law of Attraction - Duration: 12:56.

This video will show you how doing less can actually get you more.

The Sharmin Altro the law of attraction.

And I'm going to share with you how to do that in this video.

Welcome

back to another video.

It is happening now.

You will expand their consciences.

Now

this is the first ever brand deal I've ever done.

This is a brand deal with Sharmin Ultra.

Less is more.

Who's kidding.

Believe I said that with a straight face.

Anyways.

This video is going to be on how to do less but get born normally probably three or four

months ago I wouldn't have wanted make this video.

I was so strung out on my ego of wanting to be this guy that just worked so hard.

That was what I really identified with that I could probably never make this video.

But I have since then realized the importance of certain ideas within the law of attraction

that are new ideas that I don't think you've really heard that much before I shared it

in a prior video which got amazing response from you guys and it seems like you guys wanted

to know more about that idea and it has to do with lessening the degree of importance

that we give to anything we want to interact in our life which is a lot of times counter-intuitive

to teaching's by Abraham Hicks which is all about life.

That desire you must desire it desire it and I'm going to say now that I don't necessarily

follow that anymore.

I

have a new perspective.

I believe that is a whole totally new paradigm for doing things now realize.

First off you have to do what works for you depending on our own belief system that will

self perpetuate.

What does and doesn't work.

Now you can believe that desire does work and maybe you can get that to work for you.

But I am now proposing a higher perspective a new process for going about things that

I think can transform your life.

The only reason I said that is because I've been applying this in my own life and I've

been seeing amazing results so everything that I share makes sure you try it for yourself

see if it works for you.

I'm just giving you ideas of things that's currently working for me and if it works for

you then that is great.

If

not then maybe it's a little bit different way that it does realize we're working with

different belief systems and we're working with different thought patterns so it will

change from person to person but in general if you apply what I'm about to share with

you I think you can completely transform your life.

Now.

This has to do with the understanding of the difference.

First off between desire and intention.

Now desire is normally thought of something as a good thing with the law of attraction.

However.

I no longer think that it really is because desire.

Is an emotion and a feeling that is reaffirming that in the present moment you don't already

have what you want.

Because if I desire right now.

To.

Have something specific in my life.

Then what I am saying is that desire that feeling is seen I don't already have it because

it's over there it is right here right now.

So what this means is that desire is actually negating me from experience and that my life

because I'm not resonating with that desire.

There's a very there's a very different resonance with itat something right now versus I want

something right now.

Now because of that.

The key to transcending this and the key to going to a higher paradigm.

Has to do with transfuse transmuting the desire into intention.

Now I use this as an example.

One of the last days I did.

If I have a desire right now to put up my hand that does absolutely nothing.

Because.

It's not translated into intention I can have a desire.

All I want but if I don't actually do anything.

Guess what.

It's not actually transferred into anything important or meaningful.

Now at the moment I transfer that desire into an intention my arm will go up.

That's why intention is what you want to focus on desire.

You don't want it.

You want intention.

Now here's the thing.

Is many times people have desire and then that propels them to take action.

That's great.

That is one of the ways that you dissipate.

Desire is you take action so if you find that you have a really strong desire to get something

into your life.

Realize that once you can begin to do is to take action that can be one of the most powerful

things you do because in the action you are letting go of excess potential and excess

potential means excess importance.

It's any time that we see something is so important in our life.

We then immediately distance ourselves from it.

It is so important that I attract that relationship into my life.

The moment you do that is the moment it becomes over here because it's so important you put

it on a pedestal and I use this analogy and allows me as well there's someone that you

like and you put them on a pedestal.

Guess what you're not going be able to connect to them because they're going to feel that.

Anytime someone is running from you.

Or anytime you are chasing someone it means that they're also running from you.

So think about that and understand that a lot of times the people that are able to get

what they want in life the people that are able to attract a lot of money through life

they may like money they may like the things that money brings.

However.

They may not be making it just such a huge deal and if they are making it a huge deal

they're also feeling resistance in the present moment.

And they're not really enjoying themselves.

So with that being said.

It's important to understand the leveraged action we can take and it's important to understand

how to create from a neutral point of view.

I've been doing this.

I'll tell you for like the last two or three weeks now.

And it works.

Amazing.

And what you do is you learn how to more of observe your thoughts.

You learn that your goals the things that you think that you want in your life.

They can't you when you think of them you can't always think that they're going to bring

you a static fueling of some type of emotion.

Right.

If you think that when you get something you're like that's going to make you feel so different

than what you are and you're feeling right now.

Then you're putting a high expectation on it you're putting excess meaning and potential

and excess importance on it and therefore it's most likely not going to happen.

You have to get to a place to what your goals are going to feel comfortable.

It is natural for you to feel those and to go all on that process.

Because that's just who you are.

Otherwise it becomes something that just has to outsiderness who this is from you.

This is about more of observing your points of view observing these let these different

things and from that observation point of view choosing the next course of action choosing

to go along the process.

So when you're able to do less and get more.

It's about being able to create from the observation point of view from not giving anything excess

meaning excess potential or excess importance.

And the easiest way to do that.

Is to realize that you are ok either way.

It's not the end of the world if you don't manifest what you want.

It's not the beginning of a whole new life.

If you do.

It's just the natural next step.

The next step on your journey.

Is to create and choose what you want and you choose what you want through the choices

that you make in your life obviously.

But.

At the same time.

By not thinking that anywhere other than where you are right now.

Is better than where you are.

So this is why observation is so powerful.

Because when you have to observe your thoughts you start to disassociate.

With all of that energy resistance and anything else and you start to think create from a

much more powerful place.

So begin to pay more attention.

To the desire you have and to understand that if you do have desire it's ok.

I recommend that if you do have desire.

To then start to take action.

Take action because action will dissipate that excess importance you're giving it.

And as you dissipate that.

You are then able to consciously Kreeger in reality that here comes another point of this.

The exception to desire is passion.

Now it's not really an exception but think about it if you're passionate about what you're

doing you're immersed in that at the moment and you're immersed into the process.

I'm passionate about sharing these ideas with you I'm passionate about making these videos

so I'm not doing these videos to get me over there because I'm not here already I'm not

doing these videos to get me to a million subscribers I'm doing these videos because

I love to do it and a side effect of that is subscribers coming in is explosive growth.

That's a side effect of an energetic type expression.

So start to see the goals that you have in your life.

As not so much to get you anywhere else but more so something that you actually enjoy

doing.

And as you tap into that level of passion.

It starts to carry with it.

A very potent type energy starts to carry with it things that just continue to happen

for you.

And it's because you're the most immersed in the moment that things will really begin

to change.

So you will be able to do less with the law of attraction by doing what you are passionate

about.

That's why it's so important.

So many people think that they're passionate about making a million dollars.

What does a million dollars really mean to you.

If you were to tally up the cost of the paper of what it takes to make a million dollars

to say I have like 15 pounds of paper or whatever however much it is of a million dollars.

That paper itself is worth a hundred dollars is around a hundred dollars.

But the meaning we get that million dollars is so high.

We put it at such a big importance and because we do that we immediately think of something

that's unattainable.

It's something that's hard to accomplish.

But that's not even what you want anyways.

You really want a million dollars or 100 hours worth of paper.

No you want what a billion dollars can get you.

You want the freedom that comes with the million dollars.

The ability to travel.

The status whatever it is.

I'll tell you it's not just them it's not the million dollars that you really think

you want.

Now here's the thing is people focus on the million dollars and the million dollars isn't

the goal.

The million dollars is a natural byproduct of the energy and the value you bring other

people.

So they're focused on the wrong thing.

And that's why the moment you start to change this is the moment it can change your life.

And that's what we're really doing less will get you much more people have to do so much

to make that much money because they're focused on the wrong thing.

They're focused on the symptoms instead of the cause.

And what I encourage you to do is to become more aware of this excess meaning we give

things to excess importance we give things and when we do that we distance ourselves

from it come at it from a higher level of awareness.

From your presence.

So to observe your thoughts consciously decide what you're thinking.

Know that as you do that things will really begin to change.

Know that as you do that you're going to create from your entire point of view and don't take

my word for it.

Practice it for yourself.

That is what I've been doing.

That's why I'm teaching some of these more esoteric non.

Common ways of understanding the law of attraction.

Even though people would much rather they've heard Abraham exfil all time they've heard

a lot of this thing that desires the best thing ever so I'm kind of going against the

grain here but I try to in my own life.

It's a higher level paradigm Hiler perspective not that I'm better than Aybar books or anything.

I still think there's a lot of value there.

However what I'm saying is that if you practice this I think you'll see that it can really

work for you that doing less you will get more because you're not giving excess meaning

to anything you're taking to like resistent action.

You learn how to take a line to action.

And that as you do that things will really begin to change for you.

Now the other part of this is understanding that our subconscious mind is running most

of real life experience and even beyond the subconscious mind.

We have.

Our vibrational state of being and that when we learn how to transcend our levels of vibration

of how we feel in the present moment everything will begin to change.

And that's why I created a free Eppy three guided meditation that you can listen to that

will help you raise your vibration and it will help you see things from a higher point

of view and to tap into that state of being.

When you get to this higher level vibrational state of being things you want to create in

your life come much easier than they do if you're trying to control anything than they

do from a lower level paradigm of time desire or good.

So that's why I created this B3 can download it in the description box with absolutely

free.

And just remember that you are powerful you can create the life you want neutralize all

of these.

Make sure that you're not giving anything excess meaning created from an observation

point of view from a level of awareness that as you begin to do that everything will begin

to change.

So with that being said I hope you guys enjoy this video for free too.

Like

this like this try if you haven't already.

Also with that little notification here's the you guys see the daily visit I do.

Other than that as always I will see you guys next bit please.

Much love and Namas Day.

Tired and breathless

High up defenses

Wild and reckless

And we're back to the old ways

We do too much Then we start making up

We at it all day

Drowning in hearsay

Delivery History - Duration: 2:46.

Delivery history reporting for Listing Syndication. Why listings syndication sucks and how to fix it.

There are two different kinds of

delivery history reporting

which answer different, vital questions.

These are:

Imports and exports of all qualified listings

on feeds to or from our server,

and ...

deliveries of an individual listing to all search engines .

Here is the last two weeks history for

listings delivered to Zillow.

Each search engine polls on its own separate schedule.

This one is set up by Zillow

to poll this particular customer.

We'll click the "Feeds" tab to return.

Now let's click on the customer logo

to see the same kind of reporting

for their listing feed imports.

As you can see here, the customer feed went off line

for a period of time.

So our server dropped the polling frequency down

to one hour rather than three.

That reduced delivery lag time for their listings

when their feed did return to service.

Now we'll click the "Delivery History" button

to see the past two weeks

history for an individual

listing and its delivery success to all search engines.

Let's take a look at this one.

Columns mark days into the past,

the oldest on the far left.

This listing is obviously in good shape for deliveries.

And feedback from search engines

confirms it.

Tool tips under color-coded status buttons

also confirm no delivery errors.

Ok, let's pick a different listing to check out.

Ouch!

This one is obviously in trouble.

All those yellow and red buttons provide

tool tips telling us exactly what needs to be fixed.

We can let someone know by mailing this report

directly from the dashboard.

(You've got mail)

And the listing agent can also fetch this report

at any time by sending an email request.

(You've got mail)

So that's how you can know

exactly what's been happening with both

your feeds and individual listings.

Thanks for watching!

What is stopping you from reaching the moon? | Fanny Passeport, ISTE 2017 Ignite - Duration: 5:15.

a few years ago I was a teacher isolated in my classroom with wild and crazy

ideas that my students fully supported like using minecraft to learn French but

that I was afraid to share with my colleagues. using a game in the classroom?

I was first in contact with moonshot thinking during the Google teacher

Academy where I had to design a solution to a problem in my context this made me

realize that as an educator we need to take risks in education. in 2015

Esther Wojcicki wrote this very inspiring book that is all about the "what ifs" or

the "what coulds" the endless possibilities that we educators are driven by to make

learning meaningful here and now. although moonshot appears scary to begin

with, change will only happen with divergent thinking getting out of our

comfort zone and challenging insecurities. this means we need to be

ready to expose ourselves and fail forward. moonshot thinking also

encompasses the idea of transformation to transform the community we also need

to transform ourselves in the process never settle for good and always strive

for greatness. in the initial stages moonshot thinking feels like chaos for

example a bunch of students trying to use Minecraft for the first time, believe

me this is messy, but pretty quickly engagement takes over and the dust settles

so moonshot is also allowing ourselves

to ask killer questions that challenge traditional assumptions and force

individuals to consider new alternatives. for example, does the library really

needs to be silent? obstacles are often optical illusions this involves positive

thinking being a "yes" person or better a "yes and" person change makers keep

looking at the big pictures, the dream, and they work through those barriers,

those "yes buts" like Sheryl Sandberg says what would you do if you weren't afraid?

think about that superpower. what is that one thing that you would do with this at

the same time we need to be prepared for our adventure, ready to listen to

feedback and criticism, to change our trajectory, or take longer than expected

from my experience, there are three barriers to our learning to our success

one the lack of confidence don't think that people around you are on a mission

to say no to everything you suggest start by believing in your own

ideas and trust yourself and others more 2. The fear of failing do you remember

when you first learned to ride a bicycle? learning is a trial and error process

when you fall get back on that bike and keep riding. 3. the lack of stamina

because someone you shared your idea with didn't buy in

doesn't mean it was a bad idea keep trying you will find followers and in

the process your idea will evolve and get better. when I joined my current school

as an edtech coach my moonshot was to empower the community to be critical and

creative users of technology. empowerment is a creative process not a

consumer one, it is not something done to you but something that comes out of you

to achieve my moonshot I knew that people were going to scrutinize me to

see whether I was practicing what I preached so it's not an imitation game

when you model something, you model a process that people can appropriate to

meet their own needs and passions I also needed to facilitate and create an

environment that would foster creativity and community empowerment for example we

introduced family maker mornings where parents come to make with the students

this initiative encouraged the community to embark on the moonshot journey

together through creativity and innovation. I would like you to take a

minute to think about what this means in your context but given the Ignite

coordinators are misers, you only get a few seconds [laughter]

so I would like you to really think about what could be your moonshot what

is that wild and crazy idea you have and you could implement in your school so

let's recap you have now come up with a radical solution to solve the problem

you will need three weapons in your armory: confidence, perseverance and resilience

and you must commit to facilitate and model those with your

mindset and your actions so go ahead throw yourself into the unexpected you

are who you decide to be to infinity and beyond this is the goal we are going for

thank you

In the next 10 days I will walk this corridor about 70 times.

Berlin is a city where to the right you have a little bit of ultra-realism

and to the left – the remains of the Berlin wall.

Ultra-realism.

Realism.

The festival hasn't even started yet and I'm already sleepy and hungry.

All the time.

So far I have 10, maybe 11 interviews confirmed,

which is not bad but I need more.

Much more.

More interviews.

More interviews!

First day of the festival, so far I've seen one film,

and out of habit asked for an invite to the opening party,

which I got so now I'll have to run home to get dressed,

because it says "black tie".

I happen to have a black tie. Also I'll get to eat.

(Yeah!)

When there's no time to cook, it's about time to have a 3 euro Berlin shawarma.

Hello Julian!

Hello, hello, how are you?

(What are you doing here?)

Now I'm drinking, but I also show a film at the Berlinale.

(Why did you do that?)

- Why did I do what?

(A film.)

- Um.. that's a good question.

(What's the most important thing in men?)

The most important thing in men is intelligence.

Beautiful arms and wide shoulders, well-shaped legs...

(Ludmi, 10 years at the festival, have you decided what are you doing here?)

Those were different years.

At the beginning I wasn't getting much into it,

I was just drinking, having fun, oversleeping films and interviews,

didn't watch much, didn't talk to many people,

had a great time.

The last three years were years of hard work,

when I barely drank, slept or had any fun,

only worked, watched films and talked to interesting people.

This year I've thought: "Okay, so I drank, had fun,

talked, worked, what do I do now?", so I

decided: "It's time to dig deeper into the festival, tell my own story",

which I'm telling now, thanks for asking.

The first day is over, I've seen a film,

been to a party, ate too much, very sleepy now.

(Was it scary or was it fun for you to watch?)

It was scary and fun at the same time.

Intense physical experience, because of the loudness I felt it in my whole body and I never believed before that you can hear with your body.

Oh yeah, when they're inventing it, they feel really like: "Yes, we're inventing it!",

and normally you don't think about that, you know, because we think it's bad, because it kills people.

But you know, it's cool!

James!

If you never, you never took any drugs, would you consider taking them for the first time at this party?

Like if you were a teenager, never taking them before?

Yes, I would.

Why, do you have some?

(James, why is Trainspotting so important to you?)

Because it was my… it was my youth, that's why.

(That's exactly what your youth was about.)

- Yeah! Well, no, but it was just kind of… it was just a thing we did in the 1990's.

(What, spotting trains?)

- Yeah, exactly, spotting trains.

The second day of the festival is over, feels like it's been a week.

Good night, see you tomorrow.

I've a banging headache, I've already seen two films,

made a very interesting interview on nuclear bombs.

(How do you feel in the same elevator with the whole group?)

- Trapped.

(Trapped!)

You know, I think, I think somehow it's.. it doesn't really exist,

… you can say I'm a little bit German, I'm a little bit Luxemburg, I'm a little bit Polish,

I think it just doesn't really work.

(I am going to see a film by Bruce LaBruce. Let's hope Bruce LaBruce doesn't escape me.)

(Look, I'm already escaping.)

Well, to be honest, to be honest, I can't quite remember, because it was improvised. I can't…

I think I was yelling directions or, you know, just saying from behind the camera: "okay, now do this and do that"

but it kind of took on a life of its own.

So I'm not even sure it was predetermined who was going to kill who.

The hardest thing is talking to yourself.

It's hard to hassle people in the streets, but telling things

to this black spot is much harder.

Okay, time to sleep.

Or to watch the videos I've taken today.

Three and a half hours of interviews.

Three and a half hours.

I would say the first reason to watch Night of the Living Dead is that millions of other people have,

and they've all appreciated it.

And then the second reason to watch it again is because there will soon be a new release,

of Night of the Living Dead,

that is a restoration, that's been impeccably done.

For me, who made the film um.. it was, it has been an enlightening experience to see it again in a different light, in a different way.

(Did you enjoy doing the interview?)

(Just tell me.)

Oh yeah, oh yeah, because it wasn't really an interview,

it's like sitting and having a conversation with someone.

Which is just the best interview.

Alex is late, I'm incredibly worried, my hands are on fire.

This is the interview I've been looking forward to the most..

And it probably won't happen.

So we started off with an art department that was analogue, painting with acrylic on… on board,

and we ended up as the first fully digital art department.

(Tell me, what is your biggest dream?)

I don't know, I think my dreams have all come true, the biggest ones.

(What's the next small one?)

Don't know. I wish the world were peaceful again.

(How many interviews have you given today?)

Fifteen.

(Fifteen. It's half past ten, what time is your first interview tomorrow?)

7.40.

(Good luck!)

Thank you.

(You don't like it?)

This is my job.

(But, do you actually like it?)

Yes, I must erase it.

Yes, but if.. otherwise you like it?

Meh.

(It's okay.)

It's okay.

This was the hardest and the most important day of the whole festival.

Three interviews I cared the most about happened in the same day.

I think I can do anything after what I've done.

And if you're tired of watching my tired face with smudged make-up all the time

just remember how Askold looked after fifteen interviews.

This how we feel every day of the festival, starting with the first one.

Democrats' Response to the State of the Union [FULL VIDEO] || SML News - Duration: 5:36.

Democrats' Response to the State of the Union [FULL VIDEO]

Tonight, Rep.

Joe Kennedy III of Massachusetts will be giving the Democrats' official response to President Donald Trump's State of the Union.

You can watch the response on live stream (and later on a rewatchable full video) via the video above.

Trump's speech will begin at 9 p.m.

Eastern and is expected to last no longer than 90 minutes, but likely closer to an hour.

The Democrats' response will begin shortly after Trump's speech ends.

That means you should keep a close eye on this video sometime around 10 p.m.

Eastern just so you don't miss anything.

The video will be fully replayable after the response ends.

Kennedy, 37, is serving his third term in the House.

He's the great nephew of JFK and the grandson of Bobby Kennedy.

But despite his famous background, he's been relatively unknown until he introduced Sen.

Elizabeth Warren at the Democratic National Convention.

He also recently got quite a bit of attention when he responded to House Speaker Paul Ryan's statement that the Republican's bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act was an "act of mercy." Kennedy said: "With all due respect to our speaker, he and I must have read different scripture.

The one that I read calls on us to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to shelter the homeless, and to comfort the sick.

It reminds us that we are judged not by how we treat the powerful, but by how we care for the least among us.".

Kennedy is against repealing the ACA, favors immigration, and refugee and LGBTQ rights.

He's pro-choice and in favor of gun restrictions.

But one thing he's at odds with many Democrats about is his stance on marijuana.

Kennedy doesn't believe marijuana should be legalized.

If it's used as medicine, he believes it should be regulated like medicine.

Although many people support Kennedy giving the post-SOTU speech, some have spoken out against it, believing it should have been a person of color or a woman.

They say that Kennedy, as one of the richest members of Congress, just wasn't quite the right choice.

Others, meanwhile, think that Kennedy might the be the DNC's future.

Still others believe that future is still around in Bernie Sanders. Meanwhile, many other Democrats are just skipping the State of the Union entirely.

So far, the Democrats who have decided not to attend include Rep.

Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, Rep.

Pramila Jayapal of Washington, Rep.

John Lewis of Georgia, Rep.

Maxine Waters of California, Rep.

Frederica Wilson of Florida, Rep.

Jan Schakowsky, Rep.

Gregory Meeks, Rep. Bobby Rush, Rep.

Danny Davis, and Rep. Albio Sires.

What do you think about Kennedy giving the official response? And what did you think of his speech? Let us know in the comments below.

VetBiz / SDVOSB Certification Assistance - Duration: 2:36.

In 2016

the government awarded $21 billion to Veteran Owned Small Businesses

and an additional

$16 billion to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Companies.

That averages out to

almost half a million dollars per year to every Veteran Owned company.

Nearly $800 thousand dollars per year to each Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business.

If you're doing the math, that's a potential $2.5 - $3.9 million dollar income source

over the next five years for your Veteran Owned Business.

But, in order to qualify for this small business set-aside,

you need to be registered properly

with a certification from the Veteran's Affairs.

The veteran-owned status is something that's evolved over the last couple years that I

have been here.

From that being a self-certificate to now having to be registered with the VA.

US Federal Contractor Registration will help veteran-owned small businesses that want assistance

in getting their Vet Biz or their Service Disabled Veteran Owned, their SDVOSB certificates.

For those businesses that do want the help, you'll furnish us with the DD214s and the

rest of the information that the case manager's going to need.

Our team, our staff, they'll comprise that information to make a strong offer to make

sure that goes through properly.

That takes about ninety days now.

But, once you're in this system that will include you as a veteran-owned small business.

>> The whole reason to start the business was to help out other disabled veterans.

>> This is Geno of the Band of Brothers Restoration LLC.

Let's go back three-years ago.

2014, I went to go get certified as a Service Disabled Owned Business.

Immediately was just not getting any help.

You know, I would get ahold of somebody.

They'd contact this person and then they would say contact that person.

I just kept getting the run-around.

I basically gave up on that.

Once we came in contact with John, he basically was able to look into it, give us the right directions

and within thirty days we were certified!

So, what took me years of not getting anywhere, you guys were able to help us

within thirty days to get our certification.

>> You guys have already won a contract.

Is that correct?

>> Correct.

Like two days ago actually.

It's an erosion control job in West Virginia.

And it'll be roughly two weeks.

Just shy of $40,000.
