PCOS and Infertility Natural Treatments - Duration: 5:01.

If you want to know how to treat PCOS – polycystic ovary Syndrome – and have regular periods,

clear skin, less facial hair and get pregnant —Then this video is for you.

Make sure to subscribe so I can help you get your hormones in Harmony and optimize your

health And don't forget to click the bell so you'll

be the first to get to see my new videos.

Welcome back to The Hormone Healing Show.

Today I'm going to show you how to heal polycystic ovary syndrome – the number one

cause of infertility in young women.

If you follow these three easy Hormone Healing steps, you can have healthy regular periods,

clear skin, less facial hair and get pregnant when you desire

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is a metabolic syndrome that affects 1 out of 10 women of child bearing

age.

PCOS also known as polycystic ovary condition was first discovered in women who have irregular

periods because they don't ovulate regularly and instead produce lots of ovarian cysts.

You don't have to have ovarian cysts to have PCOS.

PCOS is characterized by high insulin, testosterone and DHEA levels and low progesterone.

Oftentimes PCOS women have high daytime prolactin.

Because of high testosterone levels, they're

HORMONE HEALING STEP # 1: Reverse your insulin resistance to regulate your periods

Insulin resistance means you're cells are not letting sugar in except your fat cells.

You develop an insulin meter- a layer of fat around your middle, like you're getting

ready to hibernate for the winter.

That lowers your metabolism and tells your hypothalamus to slow down other body functions.

Your periods become very irregular, sometimes even skipping many months and when you do

bleed it can be very heavy.

You can reverse insulin resistance by following a low carb insulin resistant diet and doing

HIT exercises.

HORMONE HEALING STEP # 2: Lower your testosterone to clear up your skin

PCOS is characterized by unbound testosterone creating acne and male-like hair growth on

your face and body.

Testosterone is high because adrenal DHEA is very high in PCOS.

All that extra DHEA converts to testosterone which stimulates hair in unwanted places – facial

hair, chest hair, even a line of pubic hair extending up to your belly button.

Extra testosterone increases your skin's oil production causing acne on your face,

chest and back.

While birth control pills are often prescribed to women with PCOS, the best way to lower

testosterone naturally is to balance your hypothalamus and start ovulating.

Balanced estrogen and progesterone levels are nature's way of keeping testosterone

in check.

HORMONE HEALING STEP #3: Raise your progesterone to get pregnant

One of the most effective ways I've used to raise progesterone naturally and help my

PCOS patients get pregnant is to balance their hypothalamus.

Your hypothalamus controls your reproduction - whether you ovulate or not.

Your hypothalamus also controls your insulin production and glucose metabolism.

Because insulin resistance is a main factor in preventing ovulation, it's important

to support your hypothalamus to get pregnant.

The special hypothalamic blend of phytonutrients and amino acids in Genesis Gold can help women

with PCOS ovulate normally and produce enough progesterone to get Pregnant.

Now you know how to treat PCOS naturally but it's not easy if the rest of your hormones

are out of balance.

So I created the Hormone Reboot Training for you to discover how to get Hormonally healthy

for good.

Gimp: Duotone Effect Technique Nr: 1 - Duration: 4:29.

In this tutorial we will see technique nr.1 to apply a duotone effect.

If you want to follow along, there is a download link for the image in the video description.

When Gimp is open, we go to file, click open, search for our image and bring it into Gimp.

Go to view, zoom and click fit image in window.

Now right click on the layer and hit add alpha channel.

We can apply the duotone effect to most images,

but it might look better when we have a plain white or fairly light background,

without details, like our example image.

Click on the channel tab in the right top corner.

Right click on the red channel and hit duplicate channel.

Then right click on the green channel and again hit duplicate channel.

Now do the same with the blue channel.

Click on the eye of the alpha channel to turn it off.

Click the red, green and blue channel copies on and of,

and choose the one with the highest contrast.

With this image it is the red channel.

Make only this one visible and select it.

Now we go to the menu bar and here we click on layer.

Then hit new from visible.

Make the red channel copy invisible and click on the eye of the alpha channel.

Switch back to the layers tab, by clicking on it.

We now have two layers, one from the image, which is of no use anymore,

and one from the channel that we have chosen.

Click on the new layer button at the bottom of the layers panel.

Rename it background, choose white as the layer fill type, and click okay.

Move this layer, by click and drag, to the bottom of the layers stack.

Make the original image layer invisible.

The effect looks best when we choose two contrasting colors,

one a bit lighter and the other a bit darker.

Click on the foreground button of the foreground background colors,

to make the color palette visible.

For the lighter color I have chosen a cyan like tint.

We can fill in the HTML notation: 4 7 d 4 c c.

Hit enter to see the color in the current old preview pane.

You can always make a correction by moving the cross in the color preview pane, like so.

When we think it looks good, we can click and drag our color,

into the white background, like so.

Then we double click on the HTML notation and fill in: c 3 3 9 3 9

which is a fairly dark red color.

Hit enter, and then click okay.

Make the channel layer active.

Then click on the alpha lock icon just above it,

so the transparent areas will not be colored in the next step.

Now we can click and drag the red foreground color into the image, like so.

Go to the menu bar, click on colors and then on levels.

Here we can experiment a bit, by sliding the three arrow heads at the input levels,

to make the red a bit darker and more saturated.

When this is to our liking, we click okay.

Now we can also select the background layer, then go to colors and hit levels again.

Then we can adjust this color in the same way.

Satisfied?

Click okay, and there it is, an amazing duotone image.

I hope you like this Gimp Workshop, and if that is the case,

please be so kind to give it a like,

maybe leave a nice comment, and subscribe if you have not done already,

to support my channel.

I would appreciate that very much.

Thanks for watching.

Let me introduce someone who can

explain more about this place.

- Hello. / - Hello.

This is the place where Korea Russians

- Look at that. / - settled down in 1937.

This is the early settlement where Koreans,

They started living here when it was getting cold.

- That's right. / - Around this time of the year.

They started getting on the train

in Primorsky Krai in September.

- For about one month, / - One month.

they all moved here. It was early October.

(In the late Joseon Dynasty)

The country was in chaos in late Joseon.

Then we suffered under Japanese rule.

In order to overcome the financial difficulty

and to lead independence movement against Japan,

some Koreans chose to move to Primorsky Krai.

There, they settled down in the new city

under the name of Korean Russian.

(They were deported in 1937 by the Soviet Union.)

In 1937, not long after the settlement,

over 170,000 Korean Russians

were deported to a faraway land in Central Asia.

(The reason they had to move is heartbreaking.)

(It's because they're easily confused with Japanese.)

("About deporting Korean residents near the border...")

(They were sacrificed by the Japanese occupation.)

They arrived here in October 1937.

They made underground tunnels,

put reeds on top and lived in there.

They spent their first winter here.

- Are they? / - I can't see anything.

- May we have a look? / - Yes, you may.

Where are they?

Korean Russians had to survive by digging

the semi-desert and the meadow here.

They settled down here as soon as they arrived.

Now only the vestige of the living remains.

Of course.

About 175,000 people were deported here

many died because of the different climate.

Despite that, Korean Russians started

farming here in the spring of 1938.

This is why they started to be called

- what they're called now. / - How are they called?

They're called diligent farming people.

Are the rice farms still here?

Of course.

There are dozens of rice farms,

which they started back then.

People are still farming rice there.

We're told they still have the food culture

handed down from those days.

We will go to try Korean Russian food.

Then Jongmin, we will drive you there.

I can't hear you.

(Excuse me. I can't hear what you say.)

My ear went deaf.

Then I'll speak to your left ear.

They said they can drive you there.

(Three mysterious women are waiting for them.)

Are we sleeping here tonight?

We are now in Wondong Village.

We are at a house of Korean Russians

who will host you tonight.

Let's go inside and talk to them.

(They will meet them and say hello to them.)

Hello.

- Hello. / - Hello.

Thank you for coming.

Hello.

(The old ladies give them a warm welcome.)

Hello.

Hello.

Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you too.

Welcome to our house.

Take a seat. Please sit on the warm floor.

Thank you.

This must be ondol floor.

What is ondol?

Underfloor heating.

Please make yourself at home.

Thank you.

You can take off your coats.

(The way she acts and talks is a Korean's.)

What is the relationship between you three?

- She's my older sister. / - Older sister?

She's my older sister.

- She's my younger sister. / - Your younger sister.

- We are siblings. / - I see.

- So you're sisters. / - We have two years of

age difference.

I was born in 1952, she was born in 1956

and she was born in 1958.

I was born in 1989.

(What a smart guy.)

Right? I was born in 1989.

In what year do you think he was born?

He must be 42.

- I'm 42. / - He looks like he's 42.

- I'm 42. / - I see.

Your Korean is really good.

My father is a Korean.

Of course, I speak Korean.

We all speak Korean.

So your parents are Koreans.

Our mother is a Russian.

- She's a Russian. / - Her name is Maria.

Our father is a Korean.

His name is Kim Changsik.

- Kim Changseok? / - Kim Changsik.

Is your Kim family from Gyeongju?

No, our Kim family is from Gimhae.

- They're from Gimhae. / - I see.

- Where's yours from? / - From Gyeongju.

- Gyeongju. / - Ours is from Gimhae.

(He shouldn't have asked the question.)

So your mother is a Russian.

Our mother has Russian parents.

Although our mother is a Russian,

she used to sing Korean songs.

She said we were Korean and we should sing them.

We can still sing the song.

What song is it?

(We once lived in Wondong)

(Then we were transferred to Kazakhstan)

(Us Koreans worked hard)

(And now we live well)

(I wish I could visit)

(My hometown just once)

(Touched)

The lyrics tell all about the history.

Before our mother passed away,

she said she wished she could

visit our ancestors' homeland just once.

(They could feel it in the song.)

I believe you got to know the sisters now.

We'll now play "Sleeping Indoors or Outdoors".

Excuse me?

(They burst into laughter.)

(He pretends he didn't hear anything.)

Each of you will team up with

the sisters and play charades.

The sisters will give questions

and you will answer the questions

as their team member.

Two of you will sleep indoors tonight,

while one will sleep outdoors

next to the underground house on Bastobe Hill.

Next to the underground house.

Next to the underground house.

(Next to the house on Bastobe Hill?)

(Can one sleep here?)

(During dinner, before meeting the sisters,)

(they were joking about this.)

(The joke has come true.)

(He doesn't understand what's going on.)

- What did she say? / - What's going on?

- What did you just say? / - He is...

I want him to be in my team.

Really?

(I picked you.)

Really?

(She likes him regardless of age or nationality.)

I'm already picked.

Peace Devotions - Have You Wasted Your Life? - Duration: 2:39.

A man had two sons, the younger one came to him one day and said "father give me my

share of your estate." So the father divided up his estate and gave the

younger son his share. The son, a few days later, packed up all of his father's

possessions that he had been given and set off to a distant land. There he

wasted all that the father had given him. A famine came, he was without money and

food, he was feeding pigs and actually wanted to eat the food that the pigs

were eating. In his hardship he realized what he had done. He realized that he had

wasted what his father had given him and that he was better off to return as a

slave to his father. So he headed out towards home. His father was watching for

him and when he saw the son coming he ran out and embraced and hugged him and

received him back home. That story is a picture of us and of God.

Maybe when you look at your life you can see the things that you have wasted, the

opportunities, the possessions, the love of those around you. You can see how you

have not lived the way that your father would have you live. Maybe you feel sad

because of that. Maybe also God has used hardships to wake you up just like the

Sun in the story. God's desire is that you would return to him. He is waiting for

you, he is watching, and wants to run and embrace you. So leave your life of sin

and come back to the Father. Change your mind about how you were living and seek

the father's love. He has it for you and he's proven it because he sent his true

son to live and die in your place so that you could be forgiven. Everything

that you have wasted, every sin that you have committed, has been taken away in

Jesus. Because of Jesus the Father wants to embrace you.

So come to him. Come to him and receive his love. Amen.

AYS Daily Growth Hacks 283 The Shoemaker Whose Kids Have No Shoes - Duration: 6:04.

Today's Topic: The Shoemaker Whose Kids Have No Shoes

Hi, I'm Doug Holt with Author of Your Own Story and this is your Daily Growth Hack

where each day we bring you a tip, trick or insight to help you up level what we

call the Five to Thrive. That's your mind, your body, your soul, your relationships

and of course your business. I'm recently redoing my website

DougHoltOnline.com. Now, this was my personal website, something that I threw

up years ago as more of a way of exchanging my muses my ideas but I also

have a back-end to the website where I have mastermind groups and clients that

I run and frankly I've never really paid much attention to the website itself and

over the years it's kind of gotten outdated and doesn't really reflect what

I do or Who I am now the reason I share this with you is

I actually own two marketing agencies and besides that I am coaching some of

the highest level performers in business that are in the world I'm working with

the best of the best yet my website isn't reflecting what I'm doing and what

I'm up to in the world right it's not showcasing what I am and what I'm trying

about and so when I look at this I started laughing to myself and I

actually brought somebody else a good friend of mine to audit my site and he

was laughing - it's like Doug this is horrible I can't believe you're doing

this you get paid six figures to consult and

work with businesses to help them with their website and their branding yet

yours is crap and when he said that to me at first at first I wanted to get

angry and at myself and then I immediately recognized the trigger and

switched and started laughing he was totally right

I was the cobbler the shoe maker whose kids had no shoes I wasn't I was giving

people advice yet I wasn't doing it I wasn't following it for myself now the

reason this is important for me isn't just for vanity to have Doug whole

online my website representing me it's not it really isn't what it is is this

is my opportunity my way of giving to the world you know see I set a goal two

years ago to have a positive impact on over 1 million people and we are making

our way there and I'm so proud of that my team is doing a great job yet if you

didn't know me and maybe you maybe you don't maybe you've stumbled upon these

daily growth hacks and you you've gone to Google me to see Who I am

and what I'm about you wouldn't have a representation of what I've been doing

you would see what I've been what I was doing eight nine years ago not today and

I would be so upset if I ran into a business and I was

consulting with a business owner and they were in the same position I would

say geez what are you doing your website is your is your modern day front door to

the world you need to be cleaning it up on a regular basis every quarter doing

updates yet I wasn't doing it and it started making me think how often do we

give advice do we go out there and say hey I want to be a coach when you

actually haven't hired a coach you know I get that a lot too I get people

reaching out to me and saying Doug you know how can I be a successful coach how

can I be a mentor to people I really want to help and the first question I

ask is that is awesome right but who's your coach and I hear crickets

I hear crickets because they've never hired a coach or a mentor or suspect

somebody at a top level and made that investment themselves how can you ask

somebody to make an investment in hiring you as a trainer a coach an accountant

or anything else if you're not using the same services yourself you can't it's

just not respectful that it's out of integrity in my eyes

and see I was being out of integrity because I get paid to go in and consult

with big companies as well as small ones people that are making a big change in

the world and I help them with their branding in their marketing yet I wasn't

doing it myself so right here right now if you're listening to this you're going

to see a commitment go over to the site so you can laugh at it and then come

back a month from now it should be totally different hopefully a couple

weeks from now but I'll give myself a month a little leeway I want to play

with my family too so what I'm gonna ask you today is where are you the shoe

maker whose kids have no shoes is that in your mind right are you doing are you

not doing the work right are you not reading the books are you're not taking

the courses that allow you to be the author of your own story is it your body

are you giving people advice on on diets as so many people do yet you have no

experience and you're not doing it yourself or workouts you know CrossFit's

the best kettlebells are the best the Pilates is the best yoga is the best but

are you doing the work or do you have the experience no were you in the

relationships are you giving your friends relationship advice I hear this

all the time from many of you you know someone's giving

you relationship advice yet their marriage is crumbling and they haven't

figured it out right or maybe it's an idea of business right maybe you're out

there telling people how great your business is yet yeah when I peek behind

the curtain I know what your P&L really says and what's really going on there so

what are you and I invite you to be like me and laugh at it just look at it be

real raw relevant and honest with yourself and then just laugh it's okay

we're human we're on this journey together but once you recognize where

you are giving advice where your pillars aren't very strong

what are your giving advice and you're not doing it yourself now right here in

this moment it's time to make the commitment and take that first small

step whatever that step is on your journey and make sure you're doing what

you're preaching. That's it for me today. As always, go to AuthorofYourOwnStory.com

Where you get the latest tips tricks and techniques delivered right to your inbox.

And of course, share this with at least three people that you know that you

think would actually get value out of this message.

That's it. Have a great day! I will see you guys tomorrow. Remember go out and be

the Author of Your Own Story. Take care.

How to clear your closet? Tips & tricks with Octoly - Duration: 2:27.

I try to offer all price ranges and

types of clothing

so shoes, jeans, coats,

with different price ranges

I get bored of some items

quite fast

I like taking pictures of my looks

and selling them afterwards

When I prepare a closet clear out, I choose to sell

items I would actually buy.

I cannot picture myself selling items

that are in a bad condition.

I feel like I sell

items that are sort of

still fashionable and trendy

and at affordable prices.

A black leather jacket! I wear it all the time!

An item I found during a closet clear out

and that I now wear constantly

is a white turtle neck tee-shirt

that my friend Emma was selling

at a closet clear out we organized together

at the end of the day, she had not sold

everything, so she gave that to me

and I actually wear it all the time!

An item I found during a closet clear out…

Yes! A pair of Levis denim shorts

that I wear very often.

I've had it for two summers and I love it!

Biker jackets! I love

them and will never sell them!

My Chloe bag! I will never ever sell it!

Lots of people asked me

if I was selling my bag

because it was on the table

but I will never ever sell my bag!

My best tip to sell your items is to

offer really affordable prices

because that's what attracts people.

To sell, I advise you

to slash prices because

that's what people are looking for

When I sell during a closet clear out

event, I try to make the customers

at ease, so that they don't feel

observed, I give them space

and especially, I offer

affordable price ranges

so that everyone finds

an interest to the event

I clear my closet and they find cheap clothes

We crack our knuckles by bending your finger and pressing it to make a popping sound.

It is a form of stretching.

Let's practice this expression together. Please repeat after me.

The amazing benefits of kefir and how to make it yourself - Duration: 3:20.

- Hi guys, I thought I'd show you how incredibly

simple it is for you to make your own homemade kefir.

So this is my latest batch of kefir,

which is a fermented milk drink.

It's been drunk for centuries in places

like Russia and Turkey, and it's got a nice tangy,

slightly sour taste that I really like,

so I will just have this as a drink.

It's also incredibly good for you.

Just to give you a few of its very many health benefits,

it's an incredibly good source of probiotics,

much more so than yoghurt, for example.

There's about 30 strains of bacteria in here,

so exceptionally good for your gut health.

It can help with lots of different digestive issues.

It's also really good at boosting your immune system

and protecting your bone health,

so protecting you against osteoporosis,

not only because of its calcium content

but also because it contains vitamin K2,

which helps our body to actually assimilate

that calcium into our bones.

It's super simple to make.

The easiest way that I have found to make it

which is pretty fool proof, is to use these starter grains

from The Kefir Company which you can buy online.

And you get a little sachet of starter grains like this

which you just add to a litre of milk, mix it up,

you leave it for 48 hours and at the end of that,

you have kefir, like this.

Now I use cow's milk, I use organic,

full fat cow's milk to make my kefir,

but you can use all different types of milk.

You can use plant milk, you can even use water.

There's loads of different ways that you can enjoy this.

Just to show you what it looks like at this stage.

I'm using a wooden spoon because metal can sometimes react

with kefir, so I'm using a wooden spoon.

It's got a sort of set, curdled consistency.

It doesn't look very appetising, I have to admit.

But once it's all mixed up, it goes really smooth and nice.

But this is exactly what it should look like.

It looks like something that's gone very wrong.

All I'm gonna do is get a clean jar

and put three tablespoons of the existing kefir

into this new jar,

and then I've got some of my full fat organic milk,

which I'm going to add.

And then all you do is give that a mix.

I'm gonna put the top on and that will just sit

on my kitchen top and that will be ready in 24 hours.

And then you can then make another batch from that

and keep it going.

That's how easy it is to make,

it literally just took a few seconds

and it's really delicious and has such an amazing array

of health benefits that you might wanna give it a go,

and if you do, please do leave me a comment.

Let me know how you get on.

I hope you enjoyed my little kefir demonstration

and thank you so much for watching.

Bye.

(calm music)

Why You Should Use Flashcards to Learn a Language? - Duration: 4:15.

Hi! This is Cedric from MosaLingua. I hope you're doing well.

In today's video I will show you why flashcards will prove to be your

ultimate ally for language learning.

Let's start with the basics. What is a flashcard?

A flashcard is simply a card with information on it that you want to remember

So for example, if you want to learn a particular word in your target language,

you can use a flashcard with this word you want to learn.

When you flip the card over, you will see what it means in your native language

and you can check to see if you remembered it correctly.

More sophisticated version of a flashcard might include visual aid or

the correct pronunciation - just like the flashcards that are in the MosaLingua apps.

These include an image, an audio recording or an example of the word in context.

I've been using flashcards for a very long time to learn 4 different languages

and I can tell you that they are very effective. But don't take my word for it:

I will prove it to you! So let's say you learned 5 new

flashcards with words or phrases you want to know. This is only the first step

because to make these words stick in your memory you need to review them

several times. Why?

Memories are reinforced each time that they are recalled.

The physical structure of brain cells is affected in a certain way

every time you repeat something, making the memorization process stronger every time.

Children learn their native language very quickly because they repeat the same

thing over and over again during the early years. The problem with repetition

is that you have to deal with your own motivation. If you overdo it, you run the

risk of growing bored of it very quickly.

That's where the Spaced Repetition System comes in handy.

Back in the days, I had to plan my own review sessions

of the vocab list I had learned.

It was boring and hard because more often than not,

I would forget to review. But now with the Spaced Repetition System,

we don't have to worry about that anymore. The SRS model can predict the

exact time when you need to review something you've learned.

This way you spend an optimal amount of time

learning exactly what you need at a specific moment in time.

Amazing, don't you think?

Let me add something about flashcard-learning:

it will strengthen your memory since trying to figure out the translation

of a word or an expression on your own will trigger the recall mechanism in your brain

However, as we saw earlier, too much of it can ruin your precious motivation,

and could possibly make you give up learning altogether...

This is why the MosaLingua apps are based on the SRS system.

Your app plans learning session according to an optimal schedule

that minimize your practice time

but maximizes its efficiency. Plus, you're in control of your learning since

you assess your performance yourself. If you have trouble remembering a certain

word, the system will prompt you to review it more often. For easy ones, the

next review sessions will be scheduled later. This way you will focus on what

matters the most to you, and you won't waste time reviewing things that you already master.

Overall, learning with flashcards will definitely make you remember

new words and expressions in a most efficient way.

Millions of our app users can testify to this

and so can I! This can help you make the most of other

activities too. Such as reading books or watching movies in a foreign language.

So go ahead and dive in! That's all for today.

I hope this video has been useful for you.

Once again we're here to help, so if you have any question, drop a comment

in the section below. Feel free to give us a like if you enjoyed this video (it's free),

and subscribe to our channel for more learning hacks (also free).

Take care and see you soon!
