Waching daily Feb 27 2018

Hey chemistry fans.

We noticed some of your questions on our recent videos so now we're going to take a minute

to answer some of them.

Pal Dali asks, "How does one become "nose blind" to certain smells?"

The reason people can become nose blind is basically the same reason you can tune out

a persistent noise and why you literally can't see your nose in front of your face.

It's called sensory adaptation.

When we're talking smell, it's specifically referred to as olfactory adaptation.

The molecular process in our brain is pretty complex, but basically, we take time into

account when we process stimuli.

So when an incoming smell is the same for a while, our brain actually starts to downplay

that information -- it's old news.

We only start paying attention again if the signal changes, like if it becomes stronger

or someone points it out.

But adaptation is totally reversible.

You can go nose blind to the smell of your own apartment, but if you come back after

a week on the beach in Cancun, those smells will suddenly seem all new again.

Seriously, take out the trash.

It's time.

Hojjat Abdollahi--I hope I'm saying your name right--wants to know, "How come hand

sanitizer doesn't dissolve our skin cells?"

So this is because unlike the single-celled bacteria that get zapped by hand sanitizer,

our skin is a complex multi-layered organ that is very good at protecting our insides.

This includes the tough epidermis layer, which is waterproof and contains a bunch of keratin.

That keratin is networked in a tough mesh of filaments.

And it's resilient enough that ethanol can't dissolve it just from a quick spritzing.

YouTube user The Last Targaryen--nice--asks, "Can you do a video about mouthwash on whether

it is beneficial or not?"

Research seems to show that mouthwash is a helpful addition to your overall dental routine.

(Because we all have a dental routine, right?

I floss six times a day, I don't know about you.)

Different kinds of mouthwash use all sorts of different active ingredients in an attempt

to kill the bacteria that cause stuff like cavities and gum disease.

Lab research suggests that some of those active ingredients are more effective than others.

Chlorhexidine gluconate is a fairly common one that's effective against a relatively

broad range of mouth bacteria, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a mouthwash

with some research cred to back it up.

Thanks for all the awesome questions.

To the person who wanted to know what it is in onions that makes you cry: our archive

has you covered.

And for the person who asked about century eggs, well, keep your eyes peeled sometime

in the next couple weeks.

Got more questions?

Drop 'em in the comments and maybe we'll answer it in another one of these videos or

maybe you can answer someone else's.

Thanks for asking!

When to use SOME and ANY? Learn English Grammar - Duration: 11:18.

Wanna speak real English from your first lesson?

Sign up for your free lifetime account at EnglishClass101.com.

Hi everybody, my name is Alisha, and today I'm going to talk about the difference between

"some" and "any."

So let's get started!

Okay, the first point I want to talk about with "some" and "any" is how to use

"some" and "any" in terms of where to put these two words in a sentence.

So we use "some" and "any" in the same position in a sentence, we use "some"

and "any" before the noun or before a noun phrase; so please be careful don't use

"some" or "any" after the noun, you should be using "some" and "any" before

the noun.

Okay, so given this, let's take a look at how to decide whether you should use "some"

or you should use "any" in your sentence.

All right, first, I want to talk about "some."

We use "some" in positive statements, so these are statements that do not have a

negative in them, we use them for positive statements.

A few examples here are, I need some butter.

Here, "some" is before the noun.

In the next one, we have "some food."

"Some" comes before the word "food," the noun, a positive statement.

Third, they had some good ideas.

So good ideas is used as a noun phrase here, good ideas; "some" comes before that noun

phrase.

So these are a few examples of positive statements.

We can use "some" in positive statements, that's the first point I want to make.

The second point I want to make is here, it's about requests.

We use "some" in a couple of different question patterns, one of them is making requests.

When we want to make requests we can use "some" in the request, for example, can I have some

time off?

We use "some" here because it's a request, making a request to your boss, for example,,

in this case, we should use "some."

Can I have some time off?

Second, will you give me some space?

Will you give me space?

This is another request, we can tell, will you give me, this is a very good hint that

someone is asking for something else, a request should use "some."

Finally, can he take care of some things for me?

Can he take care of some things for me?

In this case, it's asking for someone's help in a situation, so it's a request we should

use the word "some."

Great!

Ok, so the second point I want to talk about is using "some" for offers, to make offers

we should use "some."

Again, offers, like requests, are a question, this is a question pattern where we should

use the word "some" to make the question.

So in the first example, would you like some wine?

We use "some" here in the pattern "would you like," this is a really good pattern to

know, would you like some bla bla bla?

Would you like some wine?

Would you like some beer?

Would you like some, a few other things we'll see in just a moment, but we should use "some"

here because it's an offer-type question.

One more example, do you want some cheese?

So these two patterns, "would you like" and "do you want," they really are expressing

the same thing, the difference is in the level of formality.

"Would you like" is more formal than "do you want," these two questions, really, they have

the same point; there's they're offering something, but the level of formality is what's different here.

Okay, last one.

Do you want some more time?

So here, again, an offer, a more casual offer with "do you want."

And again, we have "some" plus "more time."

So please make sure to use "some" before the noun or before the noun phrase and use

it in your offer questions as well as your request questions.

So those are the two types of questions I want to talk about today when we're using

"some."

Also, please remember we use it in positive statements as well.

Okay, so with that let's continue on to "any."

I want to talk about "any" next.

"Any" is sort of the opposite in terms of statement-making from "some," we use

"any" in negative statements.

So for example, I don't have any money.

Here, I have "don't," "do not," the negative here; I don't have any money, therefore, is

correct, we should use "any" in a negative statement.

Another example, they didn't get any new clothes.

They "didn't," again, here's our negative, they "didn't," "did not," so we should use

"any" before our noun phrase, which is new clothes here.

Finally, we didn't make any cookies.

Here "didn't" is in the negative form again, a past tense statement plus "any" before

our noun here, in this case, cookies.

So please use "any" when you want to make a negative statement.

Ok, the last point I want to make today is about questions.

We use "any" with questions, yes, but we do not use "any" in requests and offers,

we just learned that we use "some" to make requests and offers.

So in other questions, like information questions, asking for information, not for a request,

not for an offer, but asking for information, for example, we use "any" in these cases.

So let's take a look the first sentence.

Do we need any salt?

So this is an information question, yes or no, do we need any salt?

We should use this here.

This is not a request, this is not an offer, so "any" is the best choice for this sentence.

In the next example we have, does he have any markers?

Again, this is an information question, the person speaking is asking for information,

not making a request and not making an offer, so we should use "any" here.

Ok, so the final example here is, did she give you any tips?

So our noun phrase here is "tips," "any" comes before that and we notice, also, this is not

a request, this is not an offer, so we should use "any," it's an information question,

we're asking for information.

So let's keep this in mind, we use "any" for questions which are not requests and not

offers, think about it as asking for information only; you're not making a request for help,

not making a request for an item, but if you're looking for information, you should probably

use "any" to make your question.

Okay, so let's take a look at a few examples sentences that I've prepared.

The first one here is, do we have _____ milk?

So here I'm looking for information, I'm not making a request, I'm not making an offer,

I want information, so I should use "any" in this case.

Do we have any milk is the correct sentence here.

The next one.

Can I have _____ cake?

Here, I'm looking for something, I'm looking for cake, I want cake, I'm making a request.

I know that requests are paired with "some," so I'm going to use "some" in this sentence.

Can I have some cake? is the correct sentence, the correct question.

The next one.

I really need _________ money.

So, this is a statement, not a question, and there's no negative here, so we should use

the positive "some."

I really need some money is the correct sentence here.

All right, let's take a look at the next sentence.

I don't have _________ pets.

Here is a negative and we see this is not a question, so we know we should use "any"

because we use "any" for negative statements, this "don't," "do not" shows us that we should

use "any" here.

Okay, next one.

Do you want _________ pizza?

So here we have a question and it looks like this is an offer, so there's this "do you

want" pattern, which we talked about right here, do you want.

So we should use "some," this is an offer question.

Do you want some pizza?

Making an offer, you should use "some."

Next sentence.

Wanna get _________ food after work?

Again, we have a question and we have this pattern "wanna get," this is a very very casual

form of "do you want to get," we've dropped "do you want to" and we use the very casual

"wanna" here.

So it's, again, an offer question.

Wanna get some food after work?

Okay, next sentence.

He doesn't have _________ friends.

So a statement, yes, but we see a negative here, "doesn't" or "does not" is the negative

form, so we know that we should use "any" in this pattern, in this sentence.

He doesn't have any friends.

Okay, final question here, may be a difficult one.

Are you sure you don't want _________ dessert?

So this isn't quite an offer, it's like a very very soft offer, yes, but this person

is sort of asking for information.

Are you sure you don't want _________ dessert?

They're asking for a yes or no kind of, and there's a negative here, there's a negative

"don't," a "do not," so it's a good idea in this sentence to use "any."

Are you sure you don't want any dessert?

This sounds a little bit negative.

Are you sure you don't want any dessert?

If you want to make a straightforward offer, like, would you like some dessert?

That's okay, it sounds a little bit better because there's a negative here with "don't"

to use "any" in this sentence.

This is a little bit tricky but I think it's I think it's okay to use.

All right!

So those are a few basic points about when to use "some" and when to use "any."

Please remember "some" is used for positive statements, requests, and offers.

"Any" is used for negative statements and questions which are not requests or offers,

like information questions.

40 Days of Prayer –The Local Church's Responsibility - Duration: 1:48.

We are in one community,

so if we just fold our hands like this and do nothing,

who is going to take the responsibility?

So, the churches must do something!

We must act, not just by talking, but by action,

because those kids are our future generation.

They are the ones who, we going to pass after maybe 20 years.

Now I'm turning 40 years, after 20 years I'll be turning 60 years.

They are the ones that will be taking responsibility.

Some of them to be the pastors.

Some will be the leaders of the community doing activities.

So, if we don't play our role as the churches,

those kids are just going to disappear. They will just go!

Losing their hope and confidence.

Going away to the streets and not having a future,

because there is going to be no one who is going to say, "No" or "Yes"!

Even if it is so, that you don't have anyone who is close,

like your biological mothers or fathers,

But we are there, as the churches to give them love.

Like Jesus, God Himself, he gave us love.

He gave us His son Jesus.

He died on our behalf, for us to give the same example,

to play that role.

The fruit of the spirit is love.

So love must be there.

To us as the churches.

To all our kids and to the orphans as well.

The Two Fold Path to Making Positive Affirmations Work for You - Duration: 5:10.

Hi everyone Justine Froelker here and it's Take Care Tuesday so oooh we're gonna

talk about affirmations today and I will tell you I fought my coach on

affirmations terribly I mean they're so damn awkward and so weird and they

totally work and when I first read 'You Can Heal Your Life' by Louise Hay I was

like she crazy there's no way this stuff works believe believe believe so the key

to affirmations there's several ways to do them

it's basically speaking out loud what you want to believe your truth okay the

good stuff stop beating yourself up and writing and speaking terrible stories

over your life because they inevitably come true so affirmations you can write

them down that's super powerful you can record them on an amazing app Think Up

I'm gonna link it down below I love think up because then you can listen to

your affirmations while you're brushing your teeth and your own voice super

powerful you can also speak them out loud while you're cooking dinner or

cooking breakfast or whatever else and then go so far as Louise Hay and say

them to yourself in the mirror so there's a couple things when it comes to

affirmations that really bug me so first off let's just admit they feel really

weird okay like it's super awkward to look yourself in the mirror and say I

love myself I am worthy I am valuable I am enough there's millions of

affirmations which I'll list some of my favorites down in the comments below but

we'll go over them but like that's awkward let's just call it what it is

it's supposed to be pretty uncomfortable so please don't quit know that it feels

really freaking weird and if it doesn't feel weird then you

probably are doing it wrong okay but I challenge you five minutes every

morning bonus points if you do it every night looking yourself in the eye in the

mirror in saying your affirmations I like to set my timer on the Calm app

I'll link that down below too um for five minutes

and then I speak my affirmations out loud and throughout my journey

especially working with my coach Cassandra for the last year my

affirmations have changed a whole lot the point of a good affirmation is that

it does feel fairly uncomfortable and hold some angst for you at first and then

eventually it will stop it'll like shift that energy and settle in which means

you're actually starting to receive it and believe it and things like that my

other big piece when it comes to affirmation that really bugs me is that

I think there is a big weakness when it comes to personal development and this

is where my therapy work comes in and especially my work with Dr. Brené Brown

and the Rising Strong Curriculum I don't need you to believe the affirmations

right now I don't need you to believe them I need you to speak them though so

like Marisa Peer says I discovered her through Vishen Lakhiani's 'Mind

valley' I'll link that down below too cuz I love love love love love that book and I

love Marisa Peer's philosophy but she talks about how we must lie to our brain

and tell ourselves that we are enough because our brain really isn't that

smart and so we have to lie to it and that will help us believe it here's what

I think I know that when I tell myself myself this truth my real truth that I

am valuable I am worthy I am lovable I am enough then especially

at the beginning of my journey I did not believe that shit I didn't I still spoke

it you must also do the work of practicing

it that's where this journey of self-care definitely comes in behave in

a way that you do believe it so one you're telling yourself that you believe

it like you're speaking that truth lying to your brain like Marisa Peer says

but then too you're practicing and doing the

behaviors of believing that you are enough and then therefore those actions

will lead you to the belief it's a two-way two-fold path like you have to

tell yourself and practice it combine the two so my challenge to you is five

minutes at least in the morning of affirmations this week speak them

while looking in the mirror be super-awkward know that you're not alone

I'm doing them with you so I will put some of my examples in the comments

below but to start it might be I am safe, I trust and accept the process of life, I

am enough right now as I am, all things work together for my good, those are like

some good places to start but I'll give you some ideas down in the comments

below I would love to hear what some of your affirmations are and please make

sure if you enjoyed this video to like it down below comment share with someone

that you love and of course don't forget to subscribe to my channel so that you

never miss a Take Care Tuesday or a Therapy Thursday and I'll see you next

week we're going to continue to talk about all of these little tidbits of

self-care thanks so much for being here

7 Ways Milk and Dairy Products Are Making You Sick - Duration: 12:36.

7 Ways Milk and Dairy Products Are Making You Sick

Today, Americans consume an enormous amount of dairy.

The intake of the average American is estimated to be over 600 pounds of dairy products per

year.

Dairy foods (including cows milk) have not been part of the diet of adults for the

vast majority of human evolution.

Weve only been consuming these foods for about 7,500 years, compared to the roughly

200,000 years humans have been around (with our basic biochemical functionality evolving

still a few million years before that).

Intensive and successful marketing by the dairy industry (including slogans like Milk

It Does a Body Good and Got Milk) have reinforced a broadly ingrained belief

that dairy is good for our health.

But is it, really?

Dairy has come under fire and scrutiny from nutritional experts, scientists and physicians

for its associations with a number of serious health issues.

1.

Even Organic Milk Usually Contains Hormones Dairy is a significant source of female hormone

exposure.

Commercial cows milk contains large amounts of estrogen and progesterone, which is a serious

concern.

This is further exacerbated by modern dairy cows being genetically altered to continuously

produce milk even throughout their repeated pregnancies.

Even milk products labeled organic or no hormones added usually contain high

levels of these problematic hormones, which are naturally produced by cows (even if those

cows have not been given any additional hormones for purposes of the product label).

In both adults and children, milk consumption has resulted in markedly increased levels

of estradiol and progesterone in blood and urine,[6] and dairy consumption in general

has been associated with increased levels of circulating estradiol.

The data show that men who drink milk will absorb the estrogens in the milk, which has

been found to result in significantly decreased testosterone production/levels.

Pediatricians have expressed concern regarding childhood exposure to the exogenous estrogens

in commercial milk, given studies showing that early sexual maturation in prepubescent

children can be caused by the ordinary intake of cow milk.

A broad array of multi-centered, peer-reviewed studies has shown that dairy consumption is

one of the most concerning and consistent risk factors for hormone-dependent malignant

diseases, including ovarian, uterine, breast, testicular and prostate cancers.

Also, while there is a culturally popular idea that soy foods may cause feminizing effects,

several studies have found that isoflavones (the plant-derived compounds in soybeans with

estrogenic activity) do not exert feminizing effects on men, even at high consumption levels.[16]

Other studies have found that soy food consumption is even protective against breast cancer.

I think we should be far more concerned about the high levels of real female sex hormones

found in dairy, the consumption of which results in measurably higher circulating levels of

these problematic hormones.

2.

Casein From Dairy = Increased Risk of Cancer Development

Casein is the main protein in dairy, and studies have shown that it facilitates the growth

and development of cancer.

In fact, some studies even found that cancer development could be controlled more by casein

levels in diet than by exposure to the underlying carcinogen.

Insulin-like growth factor-1 (or IGF-1), a hormone that promotes cell growth and division

in both normal and cancer cells, is thought to be one of the mechanisms responsible for

this association.

IGF-1 appears to be nutritionally regulated, and animal protein consumption (including

casein from dairy foods) leads to higher circulating levels of this cancer-promoting hormone.

For this reason, consuming casein from dairy (as well as animal protein in general) is

associated with increased risk of cancer development and proliferation.

3.

Higher Risk of Type 1 Diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis

Our immune system normally protects us from microbes and other harmful substances.

But if it loses its ability to recognize and distinguish harmful substances from normal

tissues and cells, it can instead mount attacks against our own bodies.

These auto-attacks can be triggered by exposure to foreign peptides (including

animal protein fragments found in dairy), which have similarities to components in the

human body.

This can result in our immune system becoming confused and misidentifying tissues

in our body as foreign and thus in need of being attacked and destroyed.

Dairy is associated with increased risk of several immune-related disorders (from allergic

conditions to autoimmune diseases), many being life-changing and difficult to treat.

The associations with type 1 diabetes and multiple sclerosis are particularly concerning:

Type 1 Diabetes.

In type 1 diabetes (also called juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM)),

the immune system attacks the pancreas, resulting in the body no longer being able to produce

insulin to regulate glucose.

Multiple large-scale studies have identified an association between cows milk consumption

and increased prevalence of type 1 diabetes.[26-30] One such study found that cows milk

may contain a triggering factor for the development of IDDM, and another found that [e]arly

cows milk exposure may be an important determinant of subsequent type 1 diabetes

and may increase the risk approximately 1.5 times.

Multiple Sclerosis.

In multiple sclerosis (MS), the immune system attacks the insulating sheath of our own nervous

system, resulting in a variety of difficult-to-treat and unpredictable neurologic problems.

As with type 1 diabetes, numerous studies have reported that cows milk consumption

may be a significant risk factor for developing MS.

4.

Even Pasteurized Milk Contains Microorganisms Milk and other dairy products are important

vehicles for foodborne pathogens due to a variety of microorganisms they harbor.

Even with modern sanitation requirements, including pasteurization and curing, outbreaks

still occur, resulting in severe and sometimes even fatal outcomes.

Salmonella, Listeria, and E. coli are some of the more common foodborne outbreaks associated

with dairy.

Just last year, for example, three people tragically died from Listeria infections linked

to Blue Bell Ice Cream (prompting a large-scale recall by Blue Bell Creameries).

Not even our food regulatory agencies expect milk will be sterile after pasteurization;

the heating process is done merely to reduce (not eliminate) the amount of microorganisms.

5.

Dairy Products Accumulate Pesticides in High Concentrations

Exposure to organochlorine pesticides (OCP) is another problem associated with dairy.

While pesticide contamination affects water and agricultural lands generally, dairy products

have a greater capacity to accumulate these pesticides in higher concentrations, due in

part to their high fat content.

Even pesticides that have long been banned still show up when dairy products are tested.

Some OCPs (like DDT, which was widely used in the past and now banned as a human carcinogen)

still persist in the environment and can more easily accumulate in animal food products,

including dairy.

In India, milk and other dairy products (like cheese and butter) have been reported as the

major sources of dietary DDT and hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH), and routine monitoring detected that

milk from dairy farms in Italys Sacco River Valley had levels of -HCH twenty times

higher than the legal limit.

6.

Increased Exposure to Antibiotic Residue The largest use of antibiotics worldwide is

for livestock.Much of that use is for non-therapeutic purposes, such as infection prevention and

to promote feed efficiency and animal growth.

Apart from the dire warnings from scientists that agricultural overuse is leading to antibiotic

resistance, another problem is that antibiotic residues persist in milk and other dairy products

despite protocols aimed to minimize this.

It is difficult to prevent and control these antibiotic residues because milk from individual

cows and farms is usually pooled together, and the administration, handling and record-keeping

of animal drug use can vary significantly from one dairy operation to another.

The resulting low-dose antibiotic exposure can lead to a variety of problems, from developing

antibiotic resistance to allergic reactions to experiencing side-effects of the medication

to which a person is exposed.

7.

Dairy Can Lead to Bone Problems Too This may come as a surprise to many, but dairy

does not appear to be good for bone health, either.

Not only has the body of scientific evidence been found inadequate to support the idea

that dairy consumption promotes bone health, but numerous large-scale studies have found that

consuming dairy may actually be detrimental to bone health. In fact, there is substantial

data linking higher milk intake with significantly increased risk of bone fractures.

There are several mechanisms thought to be responsible for the pathophysiology.

One is dairys high calcium content, which can cause vitamin D dysregulation and therefore

disrupt bone homeostasis.

Another is that the high animal protein content of dairy can induce acidosis from its high

proportion of sulfur-containing amino acids, which in turn leads to the body compensating

by leaching calcium from the bones to help neutralize the increased acidity.

Over time, all of this can have a detrimental effect on bone health.

While several other factors, such as physical activity, can affect bone health, its significant

to note that the U.S. has one of the highest rates of hip fractures in the world, despite

our high milk intake.

By contrast, in countries like Japan and Peru, where average daily calcium intake is as low

as 300 milligrams per day (less than a third of the U.S. daily recommendation for adults),

the incidence of bone fractures is actually quite low.

Fortunately, calcium is abundant in plant foods, including leafy green vegetables, legumes

and seeds, often with higher absorption rates than the calcium in dairyand of course

without all of dairys associated health problems.

CONCLUSIONS Each mammalian species produces milk for its

own babies, and the content of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and minerals is specific to

provide optimum nutrition for a baby of that particular species.

The milk from an elephant, tiger, sea lion and cow are each different from one another,

and they are all different from human milk.

When we think about it, the health problems associated with consuming the milk and dairy

products of other species should not come as any surprise.

No other species consumes milk regularly past the weaning period and certainly not from

another speciesand, as mentioned above, we humans have also not being doing so for

the vast majority of our own evolutionary history.

Fortunately, with plant milks, such as soy, almond and rice now available, as well as

delicious plant-based versions of other dairy products, its never been easier or more

convenient to completely avoid dairy

Attention, Exposure & WEB TRAFFIC - How to Get Traffic to Your Website - Duration: 12:09.

Subtitled by YouTube I wanna talk to you today about attension and exposure

what's going on what's going on with Kona I'm hanging out here and in

Brooklyn what's going on the queen is BK in the house right here

but yeah I'm here for a project I'm working in ask you guys to do a quick

video and show you what's happening but anyway I want to talk to you today about

tension and exposure and and how its applicable to your business I don't know

what you're here maybe you're building a business you're building a real estate

wholesaling business you're building a network marketing business internet

marketing business whatever kind of business you're building at the end of

the day comes down to one thing you know it comes down to your ability to command

attention that's how Gary village of choose to say

but every time I tell you exposure is everything I take advantage of exposure

anytime you have an opportunity to be exposed to expose your brand to expose

your offer to expose your business you have to take advantage of it okay

I'm actually looking for the Sun to the best light over here okay I think this

is better perfect all right so you have to take

advantage of exposure you have to take advantage of opportunities and to tell

you that I wanted to show you how to explain something to you that either

I have alcohol wrecked and it's a journalist I Samantha you can check out

this website at sharp edge news.com it puts up our political news and stuff

in Algeria Africa and he has a desire of slow times and I some challenges your

here and there and I had to spend some time talking to him today and I wanted

to share all the lessons I shared with him with you and that's the fact that

exposure is everything so it was offered to come on TV to be a commentator to be

a political contribution analyst and things like that I told him to take

advantage of it now that's a fine line between that and just be sorry about

that this is New York City

but anyway there's a fine line between that and and essentially just being

available anyhow to anybody okay so you want to

make sure that you're not being available anyhow to anybody should be

busy with your business did you find activities that you spend your time on

most productive activities in your business did you find out what

activities create the most affect your KPI the most okay and and focus all your

energy on that okay and that's what you want to do okay that's the best way to

really run your business but with that being said one of the things that

probably one of the top things that I thought well you have consistency where

you gotta be consistent whatever you do right but you also have attention I mean

you cannot be consistent at hiding in your room and and not having enough

attention you gotta create attention we gotta create exposure exposure is

everything for your business so I had to share that with him and said why don't

you get on the get on the TV tell them and not only that he did all call you

know try to be on TV at least once a week okay and it's very simple just like

I tell you anytime you from USA hey I'm Ola the creator of my

empire AFRICOM see I could be on anybody's who have said that I could

introduce myself like that all day long my empire foo.com I wonder what that is

curiosity where ever you followed me you google my name or whatever you know I'm

all I'm the founder of I'm all I'm the creator of this right you can start like

that hey I'm all about houses you know so I just had this guy honking I mean

very weird but anyway right so I'm all uh I'm whatever you want to call

yourself right are you essentially I'm advertising these businesses behind me

they're getting exposure right now right but you wanted to use yourself and say I

buy houses I'm all I help people with their homes help people get rid of their

homes I'm all I help I pack houses I'm all I sell and buy houses whatever it is

that you want to coin for yourself you can say to yourself but you also want to

make sure you're available to become part of the leadership in your community

okay and that's why I tell people creating

content is part of what you do because it's not every time you're gonna be

you're gonna have enough equity in the market to be invited to platforms to

come and do webinars in other words you can create your own stage so when you

create your own stage on platforms like YouTube iTunes Facebook right you are

now created exposure for yourself right we create exposure for yourself being

consistent at it there's gonna be the next key thing you wanna do there so I

figured that what the weather just literally dropped like right now I'm

just this code just came in our body right now well that'd be nice all day

long crazy okay but you get the point right exposure is everything any chance

you get to expose yourself if somebody said they're gonna pay you less well you

know there's nothing else better you're doing at that point in time but you know

in fact it's gonna create more exposure for your personal brand and yourself

alright check that out

what you know if you know that take advantage of it if you know you have an

opportunity to be an intern in a place where you're gonna get a lot more

exposure take advantage of it okay because all those things add on as

additional equity that you can capitalize all over time

but I'm talking to you now especially as a business owner okay it's truly it is

so true because I actually never really you know this guy got everything Chuck

always talking about attention he's always talking about attention attention

attention right he's always done that but uh but I but I've always said

exposure is everything you can see like I have I have like a whole subsection

about it in my book which you can download for free at my Empire phu kham

it's where's everything but i don't realize we're pretty much saying same

thing okay you're in this game you can get everything else wrong but if you get

the attentional part wrong you will struggle for a long time you could make

the best burger in the world if you don't know how to get attention for that

burger it's of no use so see McDonald just

doesn't have the best water in the world I think we can all agree that the

cheeseburger at Madonna is not the best burger in the world right but it doesn't

matter it's the most it's the best-selling one right it's the

best-selling one so you gotta understand that concept right there and you need to

apply to your business starting now how can I create more attention for what I

already know how to do see everything else like what you don't know how to do

already you can learn that along the way but if there's anything that you need to

learn right now either you buy houses your sell houses you help people make

money from home you sell affiliate products right

whatever that is that you do right that's one thing and that's how to

create attention how to create exposure how to have abundance of exposure how to

have abundance of attention okay you need to learn how to do that so if

there's that one thing that you ever figure that out if you ever figure how

to get attention for your business you need to learn how to do that okay

on and on the Internet we call it traffic right you see where I'm at right

now how many cars have passed by so far since right do you think all the stores

are here just by mistake they're not here by mistake they're here for a

reason because this road gets lots of traffic let me show you the same thing

as applicable on the Internet I mean right now this little quiet right it's a

little quiet watch this it's a little quiet right watch what's gonna happen

over the next few minutes okay I'm gonna remind you just watch me you see the

road right now right right so I'm looking over here okay but watch

what's gonna happen in the next few minutes okay remember all these stores

are not here by mistake you see all the stores on the side right here they're

not here by mistake but watch what's gonna happen in less than three minutes

cuz I'm actually about to hand this video right now exposure is everything

okay if you want to create if you want to have a store mom's on pop why do we

say corner store because that corner has like two different streets with traffic

going through so it can like that's that's higher prime real estate because

it would get a lot more exposure your store would get a lot more exposure and

that increases the chances of people coming in through the door okay watch it

the traffic has started to happen again okay

it's Martha all right now this is rush hour okay now good I'm filming

all right so watch behind me you see that traffic that just ended up okay now

watch this check this out all right see that that coming

all right so actually this time that I'm shooting this right now is right about

4:47 so it's actually rush-hour and then you see all this traffic coming right

now yeah and that's a bunch of bosses too

way New York City so you're gonna see that a lot okay

why isn't New York City hot because of population traffic human beings okay so

if you have a ghost land of a website out there and you're surprised that

money's not coming in because nobody's coming in I mean that's not like logic

but I've kind of realized slow watch the traffic watch the traffic okay I've kind

of realize that most people don't apply common sense or maybe we can't really

call it common sense bottom line is that you need to understand that attention is

everything in your business if you're gonna open a store you need to open your

store and a place was gonna get attract a lot of traffic if you have a website

then you need to create traffic for that website you need to be creating content

that people actually want to know you create content about things that people

actually want to know okay but if you don't do that

your business will become a ghost land and no revenue will come in okay so the

key thing right now how do I apply this concept of expose your attention is

everything to my business and that's what I cover in details in my book he

can go ahead and download a free version of the book at my Empire pro con a free

version the only version if you go get our just go to my Empire procom you see

the link on the screen and go down go get your own copy and it's applicable to

any business real estate wholesaling invest in network marketing

telemarketing the same concept and I'm going to details the minds on how to

generate traffic on Facebook on Google because all your everybody your audience

right your clientele they're all hanging out on social media and is the easiest

before you attract traffic and actually convert them to come to the stores even

if you have a month on top regular gurus store on the street is the best way to

actually attract you for these days because everybody's hanging out on

for everybody you see that walk around the street when they have their phone in

their hand and they're talking so that's what I have for you on this particular

episode hopefully even Latin and educated a CNN Astron and Heath
