Waching daily May 26 2018

miss trowel rou euro sure I think is a three eights little bit one these little bit worn

down but this was a half inch and this was a three eighths so I'm gonna be talking

a little bit about tools today the basic tools you need for installing at our

theater floor tile or wall tile and a shower or whatever most of these tools

that I have laid out here pretty much you're going to need most of those

everyday there are you know several versions of tools but every job you're

gonna need a certain set of tools to be able to finish it now these are all the

tools I have but these are pretty much most of the tools I'll use every day on

every job and then I have a variety of other tools obviously that are not

specifically for tile but you know for tile work but you can use them for you

know for getting your job done these are specifically these ones here

specifically needed for a tile job so let's go through them a few of them so you can

see what you need I'll try and put a list in the description of the tools and

some links to some of the some of the some of the tools and hopefully this

will help you when you need when you're doing a tile job that you can find you

know you're gonna have the tile the tools you you need ready and at hand for

when you're doing the job okay so here the ones that are specifically related

to tile work are the trowels now trowels they come in all different sizes they come in

v notch they come in euro trowels they come in

in square notch there's all different kinds of trowels that you're

gonna need to install your tile you need to get the one that's specific to the

size of tile you're using so if you've got a large format tile you're probably

gonna need a half inch by half inch square notch trowel or a quarter by half inch

deep by quarter notched trowel that's like a deep notch so you get a lot of thin-set

under the tile and a trowel is a gauge it gauges out the thinset that you're gonna

need under the tile when you're using it you're gonna make sure that you scrape

floor they're using to leave the exact gauge of thinset we got trowels the truck

and you've got margin trucks all different kinds of market remodeling

stops like you can get a massive trouble with teeth in it for this will be

specifically for you know when you need in tight places to get some something

set just a regular margin so get big my having self all different sizes imagine

sir so these for spreading your thinset and gauging it up then you need to cut

your tie so to cut your tire you can use a snap

cutter I have one one here this is actually a ruby snap cutter and I've got

plenty of videos showing how that only go

my good pressure with the snap cutters with the snap cutters the better the

quality the easier is gonna work if you get a cheap snap cutter you gonna be

really disappointed so if you're a professional obviously you know the

tools you're gonna need but a good snap cutter is as well worth the money if

you're a DIY maybe you can make maybe you can wrap one or maybe you wanna

invest in one so you know you gotta for you know for future use in general a

good snap cutter a professional great snap cutter is gonna look much better

than a cheap one that you can get in a box or you can use a grinder with a

diamond wheel to cut your tile and get mesh blades you can get other types of

blades to cut through porcelain marble whatever you just want to make sure when

you get a blade that you're getting be a tryna make sure you're getting the right

one the mesh blade generally I'm not good for cup cuts and always always

always leave you got on the grind up you don't want to play - exploding hit you

in the face so grind is a great tool for all kinds of cut

but straight cuts mainly you're going to need a snap cutter or a wet saw a wet

saw I have someone

but I'm just going to talk about the tools you need

so 470 time we're gonna need a trowel you're gonna need my yourself honey

knife tiny knives come in handy speech Wes big a small faces famous come a

little different flavor this is just the you want to hear uh eight inch spacer

you also need loves you've got a four-foot level here to full level P low

level you get a six foot level and these also work for this craziness so they

probably going to need a straight edge as well Spanish can be either I make

medium straight edge I've got a tempura and a six foot up like I said a level or

you can use if you've got a peak straight piece of lump but you can use a

piece of Lombok which is perfectly straight just just try that make sure

it's straight also for cutting tools nips discipline - tips these are old

pair of nips that I've had for a very long time and you get these other kinds

of nips with that rounded leaves on here

utility knife and I'll link to some mom some other videos too away I show how to

you something screwdriver obviously if you don't wanna kill a bunch of

screwdrivers just get one of these four on one screwdrivers it has different

sizes calling one screwdriver so you can get the caulking gun and also a rubbing

stone rubbing stone is when you cut a tire you're gonna have a really sharp

edge you want to make sure you knock down that edge if it's gotta be exposed

so rubbing stone and of course you need a tape measure

tape measure got a you know one little rule to work well but a tape measure 25

foot tape measure it's a great idea I think I said the caulking gun and also

you're probably gonna need an extension cord of some kind the quality of the

tool map if you get a cheap screwdriver or a cheap or whatever you get right if

you're gonna be using it every day they won't last very long like this magic

trial here I've had this probably for 10 years

these trials go to these ones I don't anymore

quality tools matter then whole sauce you can cut a hole in it in a time with

a grinder if you have to and I used to do that but to make your life easy yo

you can get hole saws in all different varieties this one heroes I think it's

for a half-inch this one is three inch you can get them down to quarter inch

you can get all different sizes the diamond coated halsell

so you can also buy case for you know applesauce and different sizes now this

is brand-new I haven't used this one yet it has different sizes and this one

actually has you know water sprayer so you can have you know you can keep the

water on it and a guy you know so you can you know get you a whole precisely

where you want it so you know kiss can get all different prizes and all

different levels generally the more expensive ones you get much better

performance and along the along the life the cheaper ones you get a limited

amount of use these are neither cheap cheap ones that I got on Amazon and you

know they do the job but you're only gonna have a limited number of abuses

with them and you can get all different kind of KISS of these two another one

thing is when you're growling make sure you wear gloves this thing is very

caustic I mean route it's very carpet and a variety hand make sure you what I

would love that see some guys it's all don't wiggle up on their growling it's a

big mistake so these are the basic hand tools there you go oh and I forgot you

need something to mix your your more them so you get a mixing palette kids oh

this is little this will go on a half inch throw like like this one here go

let's let one win or you can get one specifically made for this set this is a

ruby this is a great great mixer

oh you're gonna make small batches you can get a small one that you can put on

a cordless drill or a smaller size drill the thing is the bigger the bucket the

more powerful job you're gonna need so you can get between a half gallon bucket

you can get Whoopi buckets they may come in sizes you can get five and a half

gallon buckets five-gallon buckets you can even get six total markets generally

if you gonna make some whole bag up this hook you're gonna need a five-gallon

bucket if you're gonna partial small buckets or what you still need something

to make sure good you can mix it with a margin trowel maybe one with a little

bit longer a little bit longer paddle um it just actually one down this

you should be about this long and so there's a time tools you're gonna need

you might not need all these at once but you're gonna need them at some point

during your your job it's the more complicated is the the more tools you

gonna need obviously flops they come in different different varieties you got

you've also got systems that you can use for the grouting this kind of flow I

used to use but now I use these softer rubber floors very soft and is a little

bit harder I prefer these you know but these these work pretty well too

there are different kinds like if you're gonna get an epoxy floor it's stiff up

if you're gonna get the floor for four stalls for very rounded you're gonna get

us off the floor so depending on what you're gonna what your job is you're

gonna get you know the right right - if this one here pretty much work with any

tablet you get so this kind of soft flow

so basically that's the tools you're gonna have to have to get a job done

there are many other mortals I have all the tools and some other tools that you

can get all kinds of tools rubber mallet comes in handy when you got to make a

toilet cup just an extension ring look at the template a whale tail you put on

your bucket with a vacuum and it'll reduce the dust when you mix it a hand

brush so there's a lot of tools that you're gonna need to do a job as I said

some of me gonna use all the time like the Charlie gonna be using all day long

the float you're going will be using when you're when you grab a cordless

drill got a cordless drill I have this vault this actually one that

I've retired here you're all but one have a normal one in the truck this

one's retired veterans walking good anymore so all kinds of

most people have some already have some of these kids like more people let's go

they'll have a hammer they'll have may already have some of

these tools in your garage if you don't then you're gonna have to go I would

suggest you be prepared before your starting job so you don't run into it

get to a point where you you need something ain't don't have it another

useful tool is like I'm afraid it when you got to connect lines this is really

old this is probably like 40 years old still use it and so the tools you need

the basic tools you need are these here as I've said said already then obviously

in your wet sore if you got big I mean if you got complicated cuts like an out

cut or you card or whatever you can do them with it right up but if they're

gonna be visible probably a wet store is a better idea and yeah

and all blades are not made the same you know my model cutting blade is gonna

have difficulty cutting through porcelain a pawn blade the Captain

Marvel with a problem but might not be as clean a cut glass five blades them

you know much denser smaller smaller diamonds with a softer matrix so this

differently in different blades are used for different things and as I said you

can get a mesh blade speed right up or you can get you know more one

substantial blade which is multi-purpose for cutting tiles

you grind that and you can make a lot of cuts with a grinder so anyway this is

what I figure out is the basic tools you gotta need okay so this is a snap cut I

have different plans of these I actually have a bunch of these four foot level

straight edge spaces full sauce

hey nice shoes I until the other nips nips and I'm a teen paddle rubbing stone

- straw rural sure I think is a 3-bit one these little bit worn down but this

was a half inch and this was a 3/8 never throw him away because once it

weigh it down this different size drop the fucking gun Russia need levels

spaces and a mesh leave behind up this is a different one on here so yeah so

basically these are the tools you need obviously depending on the job you got

you might need more or different tools bucket mixes okay so I hope you found

this useful as always don't forget to subscribe to my youtube channel and

always remember to click the notification bell mega right next to the

YouTube subscribe button leave your comments in the comment section below

check out my online store dibbs matcom a lot of these tools on that not all but

we're adding more all the time and also check out my patreon account if you can

support me there that would be great yeah I love to make these videos but

takes time and but so a little support would be really

appreciated thanks a lot

Java or Kotlin for Android Development - Duration: 6:17.

Hey, this is the Daily Overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps!

Now today, let's talk about Java or Kotlin for Android development!

Ok, so a couple of days ago on episode 351 we got a question from Abhi Bhardwaj who says

"Hey Eric, next video topic - kotlin vs java for people new to android development.

Cheers man!"

Abhi, I hate to say this but I am not a real developer because I don't know kotlin, I've

never bothered to learn it!

I know when it came out, I remember seeing it at the Google IO a couple of years ago

saying this new language kotlin is so much better, and I just thought I didn't really

have a java problem.

I'm comfortable with java.

I mean, java is not my first language.

I think if I have to choose my favourite language it would be javascript or C sharp.

C sharp was something I just loved coding in.

So then we started doing web stuff and I moved into jQuery, and started doing a lot more

client stuff I really loved using javascript, and I still do and if I have to do any kind

of programming, especially little tools and stuff like that, like a process that does

some uploads or something like that, I'll write it in node because I really like using

that and I love the fact that the language is portable.

But I've also been reading a lot lately on Dart, which again, I don't know much about

yet, but every time I start looking at it I think...am I getting too old to learn a

new language?

I think that's what I'm thinking about!

But one of the things that Dart has over javascript is that it's compiled and there's all these

reasons why dart is better than javascript for certain things, like for using flutter

and everything like that.

So the reason I've never learnt Kotlin is because I don't really have a need to learn

Kotlin.

I'm cool with Java!

Java to me, unless somebody tells me a reason why Kotlin is better, I'm sticking with Java,

just because I know there's more Java opportunities out there.

I know if a client comes to me with an Android project, it's probably gonna be in Java.

It's much more similar to javascript, the way the syntax looks and everything.

The same way when Swift came out, then I was like totally on board with Swift because I

hate using Objective C. I think I'm just too stupid for Objective C. Every time I look

at it I just feel like I'm in way over my head!

So if I have to do anything on iOS native, then I prefer to do it in Swift if I can.

But I would love to hear from anybody out there who's using Kotlin and what are the

benefits and how you're finding using it, because one of the things is - languages do

get older.

Like, some things stick around for ages like C++ and everything like that, but you don't

find that many C++ developers...I suppose they work a lot on hardware and stuff like

that, but not too much.

But PHP, PHP is a language that is old old, Java's a language that is old!

There's new things that have come on and if you're looking at getting jobs in software

and everything, I'd be looking at which one of these do you think is gonna catch on the

quickest.

And sometimes I will learn a language just because of the framework it's in.

So, Lua was a language that a prefer not to use Lua, I would never use it for anything

outside of Corona sdk, but because I was learning Corona, I learnt all the Lua functions and

everything like that too.

But I'm not one of these people who says "oh, Lua is such a good language, it's so beautiful!",

I hate using it.

Sometimes other frameworks like, i wasn't big on Angular on the web, but with the ionic

framework that's when I started learning how Angular works and really started getting into

all that kind of stuff, because the framework was so good that it lured me in!

Another one is ruby on rails.

Ruby is a language that...and it's all personal preference, so when I say I prefer the curly

brackets, I prefer semi-colons at the end of every line, that kind of stuff, that's

just me because it's easier to jump from one language to another but with Ruby, I didn't

like the way the indentions were used, I didn't like all that kind of stuff.

But some people just love using it.

You've got something like CoffeeScript which looks a lot more like Ruby.

And you've got things like typescript which takes JavaScript to the next level and it

also does transpiling and everything like that.

Transplicing...yes transpiling...I can't remember the term.

But you know, where it takes the typescript and converts it into JavaScript, blah blah

blah.

There's lots of different language versions out there.

I think if you're starting out, I would say look into Kotlin.

There's so many Java developers out there that if you get really good at Kotlin and

there were job opportunities that came up, then you might have a niche there, where you

wouldn't be competing with somebody who's like 55 who's been using Java for the last

30 years.

You would be new to Kotlin.

That might be something that you could use.

That's just me.

I think that if it's new, there's a reason they come out with a new language is because

there's something wrong with the old one, or they're easier, or you can do more with

them and as more APIs and stuff come out, using languages like - and it seems like Google

comes out with a lot of them - using things like Go or Dart or Kotlin, all of them I've

never bothered to learn.

I look at them thinking "yeah, those are more for young people, I'm getting too long...".

Maybe it's just, I'm not.

So anyway I know I'm rambling on a little bit today Abhi, i don't really know.

I would say if you were gonna start out, start off with Kotlin.

There's a reason that Google wants to push you in that direction and you might as well

get really really good at it, because you could probably fall back to java pretty easily

I'd imagine.

That's just my opinion.

What do you guys think?

If you're starting out an android development, for those of you seasoned developers out there

who have been doing this for a while, if you were just starting off, would you invite somebody

to go with Java or with Kotlin?

So anyway those are my thoughts for today!

That's it for today, I'll talk to you guys again tomorrow!

Do you Often Wake Up Between 3 am to 5 am? Here is what it means - Duration: 8:26.

Do you Often Wake Up Between 3 am to 5 am?

Here is what it means

We often see on any news or magazine that some of us have experienced many weird conditions,

some paranormal, and some others experienced a normal or even magical conditions.

And believe it or not, our sleeping problems, or our sleeping habit for some of us, also

have it own means.

So, now we are focusing more on these problems and what it means if we suffer from one of

these.

For instance, when we persistently wake up, or some other sleep-related issues at the

same time.

But, before we are going any further, it's better for you to classify your sleeping pattern

and then answer these question.

Do you experienced any trouble when sleeping?

Do you often wake up in the night, especially in some certain time?

If yes, then at what time do you regularly wake up?

Now, remember your answer and let's continue.

1st.

Let's talk about time and our Energy Meridians.

It's always a scientific fact that our body is actually full of channels through, which

energy is directed to our whole body consistently.

If you might remember a little thing about it, these channels are called meridians.

They have their own role in distributing our energy, and some are considered to be more

important than the others as they carry the most of this energy, in Traditional Chinese

medicine, it's called Chi.

Still in traditional chinese medicine, these meridians, when troubled, will need a proper

healing, usually they are using Acupuncture or other type of practice (such as Chi Qong

or medication) which helps Chi to flow better.

So, we are come to the 2nd topic, do you often wake up in certain hours?

In the Traditional Chinese medicine, every Meridian is activated every couple of hours.

And why is that, it's in order to achieve a balance in our energy matrix and to maintain

a proper health and stamina.

Then, what happen if a meridian is troubled, right, the Chi will not be able to flow through

it, and causing any symptoms to manifest when the channel is activated.

Though the symptoms could be really different from one person or another.

For example, we have a troubled sleep because our meridian is troubled, or we may be able

to sleep but repeatedly waking up during those certain hours where the associated meridians

are activated.

If you do experience some of those things, then we come to the 3rd and most important

topic, let's take a look at all the possible times when you frequently encounter a troubled

sleep.

And, please keep in mind if your country uses 'summer daylight saving time,' then you

need to rule this extra hour out.

The time between 9 pm – 11 pm: You are in a Grumpy Mode ON

It's a regular sleeping time and most people normally start sleeping around this time.

But because of a tight schedule, daily pressure, and a lot of to-do list, we often carry some

into these anxious thoughts.

The meridian related to this time is called the "Triple Burner", it rules over most

of our natural functions by corresponding with Hypothalamus and endocrine system.

So, do you suffer from problems related to this?

It's only logical that when you have some trouble to sleep at this time, then your anxiety

must be pretty strong, the element related to this problem is Fire.

Now please ask this Question to yourself: Do you lack of pleasure in your life?

Antidote: Do the balancing Hatha Yoga breathing technique which will help you calm your Chi.

Meditate on peace.

Find more quality time for yourself.

#2 - The time between 11 pm – 1 AM : You are in Anger Mode ON

Most of us is already sleep around this hour.

However, some of us might find it extremely difficult to sleep during this time, or maybe

repeatedly wake up, making them lose their sleep.

So, do you often Wake up around 11 pm and 1 AM ?

The meridian related to this time is the one of Gall Bladder, it also the very meridian

in which related to migraines and persistent headaches.

So, do you suffer from these?

According to Chinese Element System, this meridian corresponds to the Element of Wood

. When you wake up during 11 pm and 1 am, then you may need to let your anger go.

Ask this Question to yourself: Why are you so furious?

Antidote: You need to let past go and make peace with it.

Embrace you decisions because you made them with your current wisdom.

Try having a bath before going to bed.

#3 - The time between 1 pm – 3 am: You are in a Hate Mode ON

While the majority of people should already be snoring around this hour, but if you keep

on waking during this time, an issue related with hatred may haunt you.

And the most common problem is self-hatred.

The meridian related to this time is Liver one.

So, do you think you are often suffering from problems related with your liver, stomach,

sexually related issues or arthritis?

And why do you feel this hatred burning inside your heart?

Everything about hatred and anger is related with Wood according to Chinese Element System.

Ask this Question to yourself: Why can't you forgive yourself?

Antidote: Healing meditation is what you need.

Put love and peace inside your heart.

#4 - The time between 3 am – 5 am : You are in a Fight Mode ON

During this time when we are sleeping, our body should experience the lowest temperature,

thus we are usually rest in a deep sleep.

Now let's keep in mind that some people may wake up regularly during this time, so, are

you one of them?

First thing first, we might already mention to you in the previous video, but let's repeat

this again, so during the time between 3 am – 4 am (called the 'witching Hour') is when

the most mysterious phenomena occur.

Therefore, if you can sense a mysterious energies around you, then you may experience something

called the 'Awakening'.

And the 2nd thing, during this time of hour, the meridian which related to this time is

'Meridian of Lungs', which is considered to be the most 'magical' meridian, it's related

to the sense of freedom.

So, if you think something is blocking your path, or if you want to break free from something,

then the Anxiety has already kicked in.

The question is, what causes this anxiety?

Now that you remember again about the 'Witching Hour', do you think you are under attack

by something like dark forces, or is it just the anxiety?

By any means, you have to figure this out before you can sleep well again I guess.

Ask this Question to yourself: Why are you Alert?

What do you fear?

Why are you under attack?

Antidote: Proper grounding can help you as it fortifies you defense system.

Moreover, you can call upon the Blessings of Archangel Michael.

Time between 5 am – 7 am : You are in a Confused Mode ON

It is the time when most of us wake up and prepare ourselves for a new sheet of daily

activity like working, studying, and any other responsibilities.

However, a few of us may schedule their wake up few hours later.

If despite you want to wake up later, but you constantly wake up during this time, then

again, maybe there is something wrong with the meridian.

So, apparently the Meridian of Large Intestine is activated during this hour, if you experiencing

a problem related to this meridian, you might suffering a not so good situation such as

constipation, hemorrhoids or maybe allergies.

So do you think one of these is the problem?

In addition to that, according to Chinese Element System, this meridian is associated

with the Element of Metal.

The meridian of Large Intestine is responsible for our body's "detox" system.

What do you need to let go off?

What is bothering you?

Why does your meridian so intensively try to throw negativity away?

Ask this Question to yourself: What is poisoning you?

Which feeling, or person is so toxic that keeps you trapped ?

Antidote: Peppermint scent and tea might be the answer as it help you abolish emotional

and psychic parasites.

Well, those are what really means if you often wake up during those time.

So, Really cool information isn't it?
