Waching daily May 27 2018

Hello friends! My name is Rosi.

And we are here for another episode of...

Casos de la Vida Real

Japan Edition

Oscar and I are going to show you around a little

And you know what...

A lot of people asked us if we could make a video in Spanish

So...

We're going to do our best!

Hi! I'm Oscar!

We are in Shinsaibashi

No!

We're in Namba!

We're in Namba,

but this area is called Dotonbori.

Oh, yeah.

I forgot.

So, we're going to show you a little bit of Dotonbori

There's lots of stores,

a lot of food,

takoyaki

Yes!

So we're going to walk around and show you some of the more famous stuff here.

And for you guys to get to know a little bit of the the city

that we're living in.

Oscar, what's this?

It's Dotonbori bridge!

Ah, really!

And what do you do here?

Take photos with the Glico Man.

Like this.

Ok, what are we going to do now?

We're going to walk by the walkway.

There's always a lot of people there.

So sometimes it's really difficult to walk through.

More so now that it's summer.

There's more people since a lot of them are on holiday and things like that.

Here, what you want to look for is

Starbucks.

If you see Starbucks then you know you're in the right place.

I'm here in front and you can go left or right.

We're going to go to the right.

The first thing you're going to see

Look up!

You'll see a crab!

This is another famous thing here

Because they sell...

What do you think?

Crab!

Let's go see how they make it!

Oscar: Rosi have you tried it?

No! You Oscar?

Oscar: No!

Well, I don't eat crab.

But everyone that comes here takes a picture of the giant crab.

Because, LOOK!

It's so big!

In Japanese, crab is "KANI"

A little Japanese lesson for you guys.

Ok let's keep going.

This is only the beginning

and there's more straight ahead.

Here we are walking and like Oscar said

There are so many people here because it's Sunday.

But, something you'll see a lot of

Is a "Character"?

How do you say "character"?

Well, it's like a symbol of Osaka.

And it's...you won't believe it

maybe you will

but it's something...

It's a guy.

Well that's the Osaka character.

I don't know why. I personally don't like it.

It actually gives me a little bit of the heebie-jeebies.

But you'll see it everywhere.

They have socks,

keychains,

all that good stuff.

And right now we're going to see the real deal.

If you want to see it let's keep going!

Oh yeah, let's go!

Oscar, what do we have here?

It's the famous Takoyaki!

They're like balls...

It's like a pancake.

It has octopus inside

and they make it into a ball,

on top it has sauce

and last they add...

how do you call it?

little fish...

In Japanese it's called "bonito"

but I don't know how to say it in Spanish.

Ok let's go see!

We've only walked like 3 or 5 minutes,

and if you look to your right.

We'll be able to see the famous drumming doll...

doll that's playing the drums?

In Japanese we say "kimochi warui"

It's like it gives you this bad feeling.

I don't know how you would say it...

It's just a feeling I don't like.

Well this is the character.

I've never come to take my picture with him.

Actually, I think this is the first time i've come to see it.

Yeah, well this is the character,

and it never stops drumming.

Day-in, day-out it's always playing.

Let me tell you that when you're passing by at night

it looks really creepy.

Ok. Let's keep going down the same street.

And here we have another famous thing.

that we showed you earlier

when we got here to Namba.

The famous "Glico Man". Can you see it?

So here the people stop

and take a picture in front of it making the same pose.

Why?

I don't know.

But it's something everyone does.

The "Glico Man" is famous because

the Glico company

makes chocolates and candies.

And it's the symbol...

the most famous symbol of the company.

Ok. Well. We learned something new!

Oh. Look, behind me is...

Jankara!

Jankara is...What is it Oscar?

It's the karaoke!

It's my favorite place!

Mine too!

Even though I can't sing, I still love it.

It's a building that has a lot of rooms

and you can sing for one hour,

or six hours,

or all night!

Before, when I didn't live in Osaka

When I didn't live in the city

I would stay at Karaoke all night because I didn't have another place to stay.

And it's something super cheap!

To sing for an hour and charge your phone

it's like $3.00

Or in the summer when you want to escape the heat.

Yeah, it's something that we always do!

Ok here we are walking.

You're going to see...this!

It's Ramen!

What is this Oscar?

It's Ramen!

What's Ramen?

Ramen is....

Rosi: It's like the Maruchan cup of noodles soup!

Oh, yeah! It's the instant noodle soup!

But a lot better!

It's the real stuff!

I don't know if you guys know this,

it's one of the most famous things from Japan.

Some ramen.

Everyone eats it after drinking,

or after going to the club,

dancing.

When you're drunk!

So we ended up turning right at the ramen place.

And we're going to keep going down this street.

It's another popular place here in Dotonbori.

There are more restaurants,

and more things to do.

Let's keep walking.

There aren't too many important things here so...

Ok we were walking down the street and

If you look to your right you'll see an alleyway.

Let's see what we can find.

Here you can see a lot of

Izakaya's.

Which are places where you can drink and eat.

But they're super small.

This alleyway is famous because of its izakayas.

I've actually never gone because it looks too...

expensive.

But yeah they look fun!

Let's see what we can see!

Well Oscar...

What?

I'm hungry.

Me too. Where are we going to go?

Well. You know what? We're in Japan...

Yeah there's sushi,

ramen,

all those things.

But what do you do when you're craving something else.

If you're tired of Japanese food

and want something.

There's a place I love here!

It's called,

El Pancho!

And it's Mexican Food. Want to go?

Yeah! Let's go!

We're going to go to El Pancho and we're going to show you how to get there.

It's like a 10 minute walk

because it's in a different area.

We're in Namba and we need to go to...

Shinsaibashi!

It's super easy to get there!

So let's keep going!

Well we're back!

I don't know if you remember

Behind us is the famous Starbucks.

And when you see Starbucks remember we went to the right.

To get to where the drummer is.

I don't know if that's how you say it...

The guy that's drumming.

If we keep going straight and cross the bridge

we'll go towards Shinsaibashi.

And there are lots of stores on this street.

You can do lots of shopping.

And at the end of the street is where the Mexican restaurant that we're going to show you is.

Alright, let's keep walking!

Like we said it's going to be about 10 minutes,

but it's a covered walkway so it won't be that bad.

The only thing is that there's a lot of people.

Sometimes it's a little difficult to walk.

Ok, we'll see you soon.

At the beginning of this street there's

a guys H&M.

And a girls H&M,

on both sides.

That's how it starts so let's walk straight, straight, straight.

Ok, we're here crossing the light.

You'll see a place called, Pablo.

So when you get to Pablo you'll keep going straight till the end of the road.

Let's go.

Well friends! We're here!

If you guys saw, we went from one H&M to another.

Those are the things you want to see.

We got to the end. Here behind us is the street.

Keep going straight and you'll see a building called

Shinsaibashi Tower.

Here you'll see, El Pancho!

Mexican food!

This is the menu.

And drinks.

We're in front of El Pancho

We have to go up to the 8th floor.

To the 8th floor.

We're waiting for the elevator and then we'll go up!

We're here at the restaurant,

I asked the lady if we could film and she said it was okay.

We come here often because the Mexican food is actually really good.

They have burritos,

tacos,

quesadillas,

What else do they have?

Chimichangas,

fajitas,

enchiladas,

But the most important thing is the....

MARGARITAS!

They're really big!

Right now we ordered some King Size margaritas.

It's happy hour.

They only cost ¥750.

That's about $7.00

Yeah, they're really big.

They're full of alcohol.

I got a quesadilla, like always.

Since the first time I came here

Four years ago.

What did you order?

Here we have...

Well it's Mexican style

But not really...

It's a wrap. Like a burrito.

It doesn't have rice or beans.

It has avocado, lettuce, tomato, something really light.

With your beans,

and my margarita.

It's "tuna" or cactus pear.

Tuna is the name of the cactus fruit.

It's called cactus pear in English.

I don't know how to say it in Japanese.

Ok guys, we're done eating, it was delicious.

In the end, we paid about 3,000 yen.

Which is about 30 dollars

Between the two of us for margaritas and for the food.

So, very cheap and very delicious

Well, we are done, see you later

Let's see where we meet next time

Bye!

Things Hot Guys Wear | 5 Best Types Of Glasses For Guys - Duration: 10:19.

one two three four five six seven back to the old school because you only have

seven seconds to make a great first impression welcome to the channel where

fashion meets frigates my name is Kevin Sims in today's video we talk about

great eyewear for any man like these kind of videos cool go ahead and

subscribe to my channel picture my notifications to get up there to video

and livestream update to show you boys some love you shout out to the CIA

salute to the FBI if you've been following my channel for any length of

time you know I always talk about the white t-shirt test my t-shirt test

simply means this anything that you choose to wear whether it be shoes watch

the frames fragrance hats should be able to to be able to be warm with their

white t-shirt and simply complement basically simply work but for today's

video I decided to wear a white shirt because me and do what I do nice custom

fit white shirt guys remember because custom is your friend was more on that

later but I want you guys to do is pay attention to how much my look changes

are varies depending upon the frames I have on my face you gotta actually use

these five frames right here just to give you guys a baseline and an idea

let's start with this classic look first time we have a simple black horn-rimmed

frame that's what most people come with the Buddy Holly or whatever this is the

one pair of frames that is universal with every man it is impossible to not

look cool professional and businesslike with these great frames from DITA these

glasses go with everything everything you can dress them up all the way to a

tuxedo but down all the way to a t-shirt that's what makes these like go-to pair

of frames in any situation but there's a drawback they're black and black as you

know dramatic color I want guys to wear

monochrome on your body but I want you to put pops of color around your body

that's why I also tell guys to accent various teams don't get all black shoes

get your basic black snake in brown so how do we inject Brattle into Iowa and

still keep a great masculine I got that covered pregnant all right

by any means necessary people always say these frames are like Malcolm egg

actually they're just hair frames another great look by DITA this is the

great exert but I want you to pay attention to the uniqueness of the brown

check it out and is called tortoise it's a slight tortoise I am browning here but

I've also injected a little tortoise your subject means I can wear with black

or I can wear with childhood wears blue brown all the things in my wardrobe this

is actually a less formal looking in today it's actually a less formal it

than the black frames but a more distinguished look I love this half room

look because it opens up my wardrobe it's normal but it's still fun now we go

on to the next one what it is yoke a what's up with so given yeah baby check

those out straight up Japanese tortoise look at these

I gotta admit I'm a sucker for the brandita and I love these tortoise

frames and that's the right tortoise frame on any man is sexy how do I know

Cosmopolitan magazine has thousands of women what are some of the sexiest

things that any man can wear and tortoise frame and tortoise shell

eyewear was ranked number two on that list right under her leather jacket

that's saying something even better this fun look can be put on with a t-shirt

Porsche standard jeans and run out of the door

that's great at times we can even wear with formal wear there's great

conversation starters it's like wearing a bowtie on your face that's what I love

about these frames the conversation starters and statement pieces but we can

go outside itself the to not only look good but protect our eyes you got you

covered with these I don't pop Molly I run Tom Floyd yes if you don't watching

my channel any length of time this is so my statement I wear these are pair of

classic aviators from the man Tom Ford what makes these glasses special is they

were actual sunglasses that I change with transition lenses indoors they're

fashion for looks and command attention and respect when you go outside that's

and the beauty happens because they change let's see what happens when we go

outside as you can see a beautiful spring day and you watch the lenses

transition or change from indoor to outdoor a great way to wear frames not

only indoor but outside and another great way to stretch your wardrobe and

save some money you can a pair sunglasses are changing into action

or readers it's a great way to set yourself apart from the crowd

sunglasses are made different the average pair of sunglasses amazing life

differently than the average pair of indoors or readers yes you can get this

done even if you don't wear prescription lenses but enough about that let's go

back in the headquarters and finish it up with the peel but back inside and I'm

watching these things lighten up so you can see for yourself

since we're with the man town Ford I love these great frames

I love the infinity pattern also with the nice thing it does on the temple

again a great way for men to look classic elegant sophisticated yet still

cold the classic man big Tom Ford does mean things well but I'd love to stick

on our or a special look at the sunglasses unlike the transitions these

actually have a gradient so it makes me want to indoors you can look through

here to clear and let down it gets darker next up my favorite pair of

sunglasses today yeah baby these are my favorite sunglasses today

and of course they have brought to you by deeded look guys there are several

brands out there but when you find a brand that works for you use it DITA

works well for me and I would bet it works well for most of you guys out

there these are the condor if you like any of these glasses I'll leave a link

down the description where you can actually go purchase them look guys I

always say invest in your eyewear invest in your shoes those are investment

pieces you don't need a ton of them but they're statement pieces also they see

so much about you these sunglasses right they have got a lot of attention but you

guys right here on youtube you can only imagine what happens out in the real

world simple elegant sleek just great for the modern sexy savage

and again invest the white t-shirt test and of course you can dress it up as I'm

doing right now all right guys for me I'm not a big fan

up for my face shape I'm not a big fan of reminisce or old but fit for you if

my work now know something you guys me like Kevin that's great but how do I

pick the right friends to me gotcha Covered in the description I also

provide a link to help you pick out the right pair of glasses the right outfit

the right anything in your particular situation but again says this is the

channel of man she meets fragrance my video would really be complete without

some killer fragrance recommendations when I'm thinking about these glasses I

am thinking serious I'm thinking business think of the character Roger

Sterling in Mad Men actor actually wore these frames often in that series they

work well and they actually work well net and a great Franklin to be something

like this this is really more known as French lover think of Creed spicen would

done better in able to be would year-round as a signature scent this

thing is killer oh so manly so gentlemanly ah one of the

best pickups of 2018 for me and perfect for this look for the half room toilets

like you can't beat this one from Creek why the airs on the perfect white

t-shirt fragrance at the perfect white surface ring it's in my opinion clean

fun I think of a lower on Medici lunch something like this is great that lemon

meringue pie lighten up beat but yet serious this

really hombre buy time for pop my old phrase anything that kind of in town

anything that could kind of fit this category puts me in the mindset of these

frames lower home edition I'm lunch tortoise frame white t-shirt white shirt

you can't beat it and when the time for aviators indoor-outdoor converted

sunglasses you need a great transition fragrance and that is molecule one this

fragrance is one of my favorite on the planet because it's so versatile for so

many reasons just like be sprayed so versatile for so many reasons

What Do You Do When You're Feeling Low? - Duration: 6:45.

Hey, this is the Daily Overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps!

Now today let's ask the question - what do you do when you're feeling low?

Ok, so if you watched the live-stream last Friday, you will know that my biggest app

called Ear Agent on Android, which generated most of my passive income, was suspended by

Google Play!

In fact, it was just a week before that someone mentioned in the comments that they'd had

a similar spy-themed app which had a million downloads which was suspended.

And I said as a response "this is something that I've feared for quite a while that that

might happen to me!

Even though I try to follow all the guidelines and comply with everything, it's just the

general creepiness of the app has always been there.

For the last five and a half years, my dread was that i would get this "your app has been

suspended" email, and I got it last Wednesday.

In fact, I got it just after I did the video on what we were doing for GDPR that day.

So, after 5 years I had this big fear that if I ever got that, it's gonna be a huge blow

to the company, it's gonna be a huge blow all over.

But it was always there in the shadows, like, that could happen.

And then I got it, I got that email.

So, how did I respond?

I wish I could tell you that I responded like "well, we saw this coming, we've been preparing,

we're just gonna have to work a little bit harder and push forward!!" but I didn't.

I'm ashamed to say that my first response was to sulk.

So, I went home, I said I'm not coming back into the office today, I need to do some thinking,

I need to think about the strategy going forward and everything like that, and I just went

for a drive.

I just went missing for the day.

And, you know what I do when I'm really low?

Like, last Wednesday, or if we have a really bad day with a client or something like that,

or just things are financially turbulent for the month for whatever reason, late payments,

whatever - I look at the job pages.

i look at jobsurf, which is a website I used to use when I was looking for contracts back

in the day.

And there's probably better ones now, I don't even know.

So I started looking for jobs, right?!

"Oh, javascript developer in London, 400-500 a day, West London", it's like, you know what,

I could do that!

It's like if you've ever been in a relationship and you get mad at one little thing and you

think "that's it, I'm leaving!" and you start playing through it in your head, all the ramifications,

like, no, that's not gonna work.

That's ridiculous.

Once you start walking through it, the impulse.

So my impulse is like "I should just go find a job".

And I have to bring myself back, because Is tarted thinking about it through it all saying

"hang on a second, we have this team that took so long to build!

We have Overpass, we have the branding, we have everything that we've been working on,

and we still have all these other applications out there!

We have all these clients, we have all these things that we've been building", and one

little hit and i just completely like "oh man, let's go find a job, whatever, this guaranteed

income that comes in.

So I started thinking about it.

I started playing it through my head.

First of all, the team that I'm in love with.

They click, they gel together, it took a long time to put them together.

What are they gonna do?

Just go and disband and just go join other companies?

No way, over my dead body!

Second, our clients need us.

I'm not gonna call up our clients and say "hey, I'm sorry, I decided to take on this

job, I'm not gonna be available anymore".

Because there's a reason they continue to work with us, it's because I can imagine them

going to another company and going to another developer and somebody saying "ooh, I don't

know, that's gonna be very difficult Dave", or whatever.

I'm not gonna let that happen.

and second, the idea of just going into an office, taking on a contract, going in there

every day, getting on the train, going into London, going in on the first day and them

saying "hey, thanks for joining us, it's Eric isn't it?"

"Yes" "So here's your desk over here.

I'm afraid the chairs a little bit broken because the last guy had some back problems

and when he left everyone took his chair and everything like that.

And the computers really slow, but just try to carry on with the code.

We'll have a meeting today at 10 o clock.

If you have a lunch, try not to take longer than 45 minutes because, you know, it just

looks bad.

If you leave before 6, please let us know".

I definitely don't wanna go back to that life again!

So I started thinking about there's loads of benefits, loads of things going for us,

it's just in those moments where you get hit with something, or you just feel low.

I look at the job pages.

I don't know what you guys do, but it's nice to know that it's still there.

That's a life that I'd never plan on going back to, but if I had to, I would.

Like I said, I would sweep elephant cages for my family if I had to, but by no means

do we have to.

The fact is that for the last couple of years we've been building up our client base, we

do more client work, we're building up our apps too, so the non-ear agent app revenue

is still significant, although it's not great, it's not enough to live off of but we're still

working on the portfolio and all that kind of stuff.

And I wish I could say that I stood my ground but sometimes i get low.

So, my question to you is - what do you do when you've had a bad day?

What do you look at?

Do you look at - ah I'm just gonna get out of I.T. altogether, oh by the way, I was also

thinking "I'm just gonna leave the app store.

We're just gonna do PWA's from now on.

That's what we're gonna do!

Progressive web apps.

Screw the app stores".

Really, we're still getting revenue from them and that's still the way to go.

I still think PWA's, while they're definitely a lot more attractive to me now, given the

problems we've had with both Apple app store and Google Play over the past three weeks,

I'm starting to look more into the PWA side, even though there's still problems with monetisation,

still problems with Safari, although those are getting better because they're bringing

web workers and all that kind of stuff.

So I'm starting to look into that a lot more, and of course we've got all the client stuff,

so we've gotta make sure that we give them the best service that we can, which we do!

So anyway, that's it for today, I'll talk to you guys tomorrow!

10 AMAZING Things About China!! - Duration: 10:22.

From crazy police practices to living in caves...stay tuned to number 1 to find out the long-term

impact of their 1 child policy!

Number 10: Police Geese.

The K-9 Unit of any police force is meant to instill fear into the hearts of the bad

guys.

Many nations around the world use police dogs as a way to scare criminals or even catch

them should they try to get away.

In Chinese police stations, however, things are a bit different.

In the Xinjiang province, police forces have started utilizing geese as an alternative

to the classic police dog.

While this may seem odd, it actually comes with some good amount of logic.

Geese are known to be aggressive, especially when being threatened by people or other animals.

They can easily be trained to understand who's the good guy and who's the bad guy in a police

situation.

In addition to this, they are very vigilant creatures and hard to distract.

Oddly enough, this is not the first time geese have been used in policing.

They were used in Germany in the 1980's to guard military locations, and even in ancient

Rome to help fight battles against the Gauls.

It has been known for a very long time that geese are not to be messed with.

Number 9: Smartphone Users Have Their Own Walking Lane

Don't you hate it when someone slams into you on the sidewalk because they couldn't

be bothered to look up from their phone?

If so, then move to China!

With quite possible the best new idea since sliced bread, China came up with the concept

of a smartphone lane on sidewalks.

The premise is simple: if you have no plans to be a decent human being and look up on

occasion, safely move your walking over to the smartphone lane where you won't be a nuisance

to those around you.

Even better, many cities around the globe are adopting the idea.

Most nations already have bike lanes in place for riders who need space to ride, so why

not a lane for smartphone users to safely walk, or more importantly...allow for the

safety of the others around them?

Hopefully this idea will quickly spread around the globe and to the United States.

Like, immediately.

Number 8: Living in Caves.

In a nation of over one billion citizens, it is no surprise that housing can be at a

premium.

In the cities as well as the countryside, it can be tough to find a suitable home.

As a solution...some residents have turned to living in caves.

In the Shaanxi province, an estimated 30 million people live inside ancient caves that were

carved into the sides of the mountains.

Some caves are natural carvings, likely used in the caveman days, while others are professionally

developed and filled with modern day amenities.

Surprisingly, this is not looked down upon in the region.

Some may think it's a sad way to live, but most of the people don't mind at all.

Even though it technically might mean that you could be considered a caveman, at least

the price is right.

And if you think about it, the natural insulation probably keeps the temperatures pretty moderate

year round, and is a great natural block for the elements!

I might try to find my own little cave to live in!

Number 7: Numerous Numerical Superstitions

Asia is very famous for its beliefs in astrology and numbers.

Many local faiths and mythology stories focus heavily on the importance of numbers and math.

It's no surprise that superstitions surrounding the digits and their relation to the universe

is prevalent all around the large country.

For example...In most buildings throughout China you won't find a 13th floor.

It's there, but the number is skipped due to the superstition around the number 13.

Many Chinese cultures also believe the number 4 to be a bad digit, and will not include

it within phone numbers or license plates.

Fortunately, not all numbers are considered bad, like the fact that the country has an

insanely large number of people, for example.

Number 6: Buying and Eating Fast Food

Sometimes it can be a hassle to go inside of a busy fast food restaurant, so people

in China will go through the drive through instead.

However, people want to eat inside the restaurant, so they'll pick up their food, park, and come

inside to eat.

This may seem like an odd practice, but it could just be a way to save the time and energy

of ordering inside, especially when the line gets crazy long and you don't want to wait

to order food inside.

Basically, whatever makes the service faster is the go-to option, even if it means a few

extra steps.

This is not the only odd part of ordering fast food in China.

The nation has so many residents and needs to create so many jobs that you may actually

walk into a McDonald's and see dozens of waiters.

What a great way to help curb unemployment!

Number 5: Random Things are Banned.

Not surprisingly, the still Semi-Communist nation of China is known to put limits on

various aspects of the people's lives.

While you would expect them to ban things like anti-government propaganda or anything

that could result in an uprising, they go even further to ban some strange things that

don't seem to make any sense.

Some bans in China include use of Facebook, use of foreign gaming consoles, talking animals

in film or television, reincarnation and time travel.

Of course, people get around the bans.

Facebook has 55 million native Chinese users, people can find gaming consoles relatively

easily, and it would be really hard to ban every kid's show that features a talking dog.

However, the country does a great job of stopping people from reincarnating or traveling through

time... as far as we know.

Downside?

No Mr. Ed the talking horse.

Upside!

None of that annoying Barney the purple dinosaur thing!

Number 4: One Country and One Time Zone.

China is not only huge in terms of population, it's huge in terms of geography.

The country is over 13,000 miles wide, compared to the US at only 2,600.

Obviously, China lands within multiple time zones, but it seems the government doesn't

care.

The entire nation lives in one time zone.

How is this possible?

Just like you think it is.

People thousands of miles away from one another use the same time, so while some Chinese people

are waking up to the 6am sunrise, others are waiting until 10am for that same sunrise.

This setup does have its benefits, like making it easy to deal with large distances by just

having everyone use the same clock.

It also really cuts down on the jet lag.

But really, though...how difficult is it to convert time zones?

Number 3: The One Child Policy.

We have all heard about this one.

Horror stories of families having two kids and having to give one up, or worse.

Stories of families having a daughter instead of a son and doing the same.

The law is less strict these days, but it is very true that China has a one child policy.

For the past few decades, the constantly growing nation of China has had a law stating that

families can only have one child.

There were very few exceptions, such as if both parents were single kids themselves then

they could have a second child.

The law stood strong for decades, creating an entire culture that is almost void of siblings

since the 1970s.

In November of 2013 the law was relaxed a bit.

Now families with one parent who was a single child can have a second baby.

Some of the interesting consequences of this archaic law is a massive imbalance in the

male to female ration, with approximate 100 females to every 140 males!

And has even led to about 30 million men who won't be able to find a spouse.

Many of them are even forced to "import" brides from neighboring Asian countries.

Number 2: Air Pollution.

As you would figure in a nation this big, China has a smog problem.

What you may not expect is the level to which the problem has grown over the years.

A study concluded that breathing freely in Beijing for one day is equal to smoking 21

cigarettes.

And then there's the wind.

On a breezy day, the smog from a major city can spread hundreds of miles away, affecting

the countryside where there is no pollution at all.

A report was done years ago that even showed that San Francisco has received smog from

China!

Countries like the US have had environmental laws on the books for decades, but China is

just now starting to follow suit as their country gains more and more industry.

Let's hope they make major changes before it's too late to visit.

Number 1: 1/5 of the Planet is Chinese.

We all know there are tons of people in China.

Like, 1.3 BILLION tons!

But, even outside of their direct population, literally 1 out of every 5 people on the planet

is from this single nation.

Although you may know more Smiths and Jones that anything else, the world's most common

last names are Lee, Zhang and Wang.

The cities are also densely packed with people.

The overall population density throughout the country is 144 people per square kilometer,

compared to the United States at only 33.

This includes the vast countryside as well.

What's even crazier is the collective population of Asia.

Between China, India, Indonesia and many others, one out of every three people on the planet

are Asian.

That's a lot of people!
