Awkwafina Shows Us How To Date On A Budget | Ballin' On A Budget | RIOT - Duration: 2:32.

Like a man, success is sometimes defined by dating someone less successful, really good

looking, and younger than you are.

So I'm going to go on a little adventure today and you're going to come with me.

Hey guys!

This is Awkwafina.

Welcome to New York.

This is

J Lo ain't the only one who can flaunt around a younger man.

Follow me to the East Village where I break hearts and not banks.

Tinder is free, but what about the phone bill that comes with it?

I prefer to meet men the old fashion way.

What's your favorite French film from the 1950's?

Ugh…

Same.

Let me see your hand.

Smooth as a baby and smells like the soap at Penn Station.

Score!

Who doesn't love a makeover montage?

Go thrifting to keep it on the cheap.

I feel like Richard Gere in Pretty Woman...

minus the salt and pepper hair and the giant 90's cell phone.

Pass up the cheap spots and hit the freebie spots.

At Crocodile Lounge, a beer gets you two slices of pizza.

A dope spot, right Sweetheart?

Here–get yourself something fruity.

Pizza is like sex, I make it a point never to pay for either.

See Joey, you roll with me, everything is bountiful.

Warning: do not attempt a Lady in the Tramp with pizza.

It does not end well.

Oh, oh.

Okay.

Never underestimate the little romantic gestures to show him you're serious about winning his heart.

I know there's more, I can smell it.

Nothing says forced entertainment like a photo booth.

Chocolate is an aphrodisiac and available at every bodega for 50 cents.

The view, priceless.

In the words of our first great president George Washington, love don't cost a thing.

And as you can see, this city is for lovers.

And today, I showed you that you can have romance for not that much money.

What's up!

It's Awkwafina,

rapper and comedian from Queens, New York.

The only thing I like more than a New York slice

is saving money.

I'm gonna take you across the city to ball on a budget.

Resealing an Aquarium - Duration: 4:24.

okay today I'm gonna show you how I reseal a tank this can be a long process

and it really depends a lot on you getting all of the silicone from the

previous seal off this can be a bit of a tough job depending on how old the

silicone is and how good a silicone they used this was a fairly fresh silicone

job so it was a pain in the butt but you have to scrape with a razor and get

every last bit out of the seams it can take a little while but it's definitely

worth it because if you try to put silicone on top of silicone it's not

gonna stick properly and you will get a leak at some point if you can see that

little white paper label but where my hand just was that is on most tanks

should say the date that the tank was made if you bought a used tank ten years

old it's probably a good idea to seal it if you know it's been stored in a garage

or somewhere empty of water for a long time then definitely you're gonna want

to reseal it

just take the razor and keep on going at it get every last little bit out of

every one of the seams and get a what they call a window scraper that's

actually a razor blade with a little bit of a handle and that'll help a little

bit here you can see I'm using one of those right there it's a little bit of a

handle with just a straight razor blade on the end of it once you've got

everything out of the seams you want to tape up leaving it so that there's a

space where you can put your silicone in anywhere where the tape would interfere

with the line of silicone just take the razor and cut the tape straight and as

you can see every little bit of that corner is clean then you take your

caulking gun and just run a nice smooth even bead along all of those edges that

need to be sealed try to do one continuous movement from corner to

corner if you can if not don't worry too much about it

you're gonna smooth it out a little bit later with either a silicone smoother or

even just using your gloved finger wouldn't suggest using your finger

without gloves silicone is kind of gross this is a silicone smoother you can buy

this at any hardware store

you don't really need it though like I say you can

just put on a latex glove and use your fingertip do the same thing

I'm just going to smooth out that silicone

give it a nice smooth edge

and in case you're wondering what kind I use its GE silicone one all-purpose

comes in both the cocking tube and one of these ends squeeze tubes

and that's it.

make sure you peel the tape off after

the silicone is dry

Why Siri Still Sucks - Duration: 3:31.

- [Man] Hey Siri, what time is Westworld on?

- [Siri] Here are matches for Westworld.

Westworld, Westworld, Beyond Westworld,

Westworld on a Budget.

- Siri has been around for almost seven years,

but it still kinda sucks.

Google Assistant and Amazon's Alexa

keep getting updated with cool new features,

but Siri feels outdated and stuck in 2013.

Here's what went wrong with Siri

and what Apple can do to fix some of the problems right now.

Siri felt revolutionary when it first came out

in 2011 on the iPhone 4S.

While it wasn't the first digital assistant ever created,

it felt almost magical to be able to talk to your iPhone

and have it respond.

But the magic didn't last very long.

Within a year,

Google had a similar answer called Google Now.

Google Now tapped into Google's vast knowledge

of the internet to get you exactly what you asked for.

You could ask things like, "How old is Tom Cruise,"

or, "show me cute pictures of corgi puppies,"

and you'd get exactly that.

Siri started to look pretty dumb by comparison

and it never caught up.

Now we have three major digital assistants

fighting for your attention.

There's Apple's Siri, Google's Assistant,

and Amazon's Alexa.

And Apple could actually look to those rivals

for inspiration to fix Siri now.

The biggest problem with Siri today

is that it doesn't integrate

with third-party services very well.

There are a few categories it does work with,

like messaging or ride-hailing,

but for the most part it's a closed-off ecosystem.

This turns out to be Alexa's greatest strength.

There are thousands of third-party skills

and apps that work with Alexa,

meaning it's a wide-open ecosystem

where anything's possible.

You can check your bank balance,

you can order a coffee from Starbucks

and have it waiting for you when you arrive,

and it works with a lot more

smart home appliances than Siri does.

And it's the same story with Google's Assistant.

Think of it like this.

How terrible would your iPhone be

if you couldn't download any third-party apps

from the App Store?

That's the state we're in with Siri today.

Another huge problem with Siri

is that there's so many fragmented versions of the service.

Siri on the HomePod is mostly

just to ask for songs from Apple Music.

It can't even do basic stuff

like checking your calendar appointments.

Siri on the iPhone is different than Siri on the Mac,

and that's different than Siri on the Apple TV

and the Apple Watch.

Apple has failed to give you one consistent version of Siri,

no matter which Apple device you're using.

If a digital assistant's going to be successful,

it needs to be the same, no matter where you are,

in the home, in the car, in the office,

and no matter what gadget you're using.

This is another area Amazon's Alexa

and Google Assistant excel.

Today, Siri is a fragmented mess

when it should be the same everywhere.

Apple should unify it so there's one version

across all of its devices.

The final major problem with Siri is updates.

While Google Assistant and Alexa

constantly get better over time,

Siri only gets significant updates

once a year with new versions of iOS on the iPhone.

Apple should really start looking at

Amazon and Google's strategy here

and update Siri throughout the year

as soon as the updates are ready.

The bottom line: Siri has a long road ahead of it,

and Amazon and Google aren't going to quit.

But there are a lotta simple things Apple could do right now

that'd make the experience a whole lot better.

It's not too late, but Apple needs to act fast.

- [Siri] Here are shows available on iTunes.

Vanderpump Rules, The Last Ship, Turn, Washing--

doing things and today's video is an extension on that topic hi my name is

my two-minute tips on how to do more grow more and work less in your business

now I talked in another earlier video about changing your role from doer

to leader and when you move out of the doing role you're usually bringing on

team members and those team members have all kinds of strengths and skills and

the more you able to leverage those skills the more time that will free up

for you so the next time you have a project and you think oh I'm going to

have to do that myself or if you're bringing on a new client

and you're thinking oh I'm going to have to manage that client myself start to

really think about what skill sets your team members have a job that you do

yourself may need to be spread out over a couple of team members but find out

who has the skillset find out who's the organized person in your team find out

who's the creative person in your team maybe someone has a blogging or writing

skill maybe someone has a video or photographic skill that you could

leverage when you leverage the skill sets of your team it allows you to step

away from doing more of the day-to-day operations and it will actually bring a

lot more diversity of thinking and opportunity to your business so I

encourage you to do that leverage the strengths of your team find out what

they're great at and try and engage them in the next project or activity that

comes up for you so that's all from me today if you like these videos please

to be number of inputs are what I expect them to be the friendly names are

correct reference measurement microphone my microphone correction curves are

selected correctly great so I'll head over to the measurement config tab and

here I'll just double check that the correct reference channel and

measurement channel are selected because I don't want these to be backwards i

here's my measurement mic because my reference mic I'll go through all of

these if I have more than one measurement microphone coming in or more

than one device over tête under test and then the last thing is my output my

signal generator option in opens up the signal generator settings and the main

thing here is that I'll just look kind of briefly at everything but I just want

to make sure that I have the right output device selected here in channel

and it should be good to go so that's just a quick verification of my IO

settings in smart and in the next video I'll look at satellite

4 Signs Of Thyroid Cancer You Should Watch Out For - Duration: 4:07.

4 Signs Of Thyroid Cancer You Should Watch Out For

You get regular mammograms to screen for breast cancer and see a dermatologist to make sure

you don't have skin cancer, but is thyroid cancer even on your radar?

Maybe it should be: Rates seem to be skyrocketing, as the number of people diagnosed with it

has doubled since the 1970s.

Women, in particular, seem to be at risk.

(Here's a rundown of the 9 most important medical tests for women.)

While that sounds scary, there's no reason to panic, says Ilya Likhterov, MD, assistant

professor of otolaryngology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.

"While it's true that thyroid cancer diagnoses are on the rise, we're usually talking about

papillary thyroid cancer, which is the least aggressive type."

He also explains that a rise in diagnosis doesn't necessarily mean that more people

are getting it—just that doctors are doing a better job of catching it.

Many people today have ultrasounds and other scans for totally unrelated health issues,

and those tests sometimes end up picking up very small thyroid nodules.

Even if they turn out to be cancerous, many of these are so tiny and slow-growing that

they might not ever cause problems during your lifetime.

That said, not all thyroid cancers are so innocuous, so it's smart to see a doctor if

you notice any of the following symptoms:

A lump in your neck The thyroid gland is located in the front

of your neck, but any bump that doesn't disappear on its own within a few weeks should be checked

out, says Likhterov.

"If thyroid cancer has already spread to the nearby lymph nodes, the mass might be on side

of the neck where the lymph nodes are instead of in the front where the thyroid gland is.

Trouble swallowing As a mass grows it could interfere with your

ability to swallow.

As with a lump, if this issue doesn't go away in a few weeks (like a cold or other virus

that might cause swelling in the throat would), it's worth getting checked out.

Voice changes Your voice box sits right on top of your thyroid,"

so changes to the gland could make you chronically hoarse, says Likhterov.

(If your voice is just hoarse from a sore throat, these 14 home remedies can help.)

Trouble speaking, eating, or breathing These symptoms probably wouldn't occur unless

the cancer is very advanced, but they all warrant immediate medical attention.

(This is what cancer experts do to lower their risk of the disease.)

Treatment options If you do develop thyroid cancer, your treatment

options will depend on the size and stage of your tumor.

"Some tumors that are less than 1 centimeter—micro-papillary thyroid cancer—can actually be left alone,"

says Likhterov.

Since these are so slow-growing, your doctor might postpone treatment and simply send you

for an ultrasound every six months to make sure nothing has changed.

(Likhterov likens it to active surveillance for prostate cancer.)

Larger or more aggressive tumors will need to be removed right away, but you won't necessarily

need to have your entire thyroid taken out.

That used to be the norm, says Likhterov, but if you take out the whole thyroid you'll

need to be on thyroid hormones for the rest of your life; there's also a risk of injuring

the nearby parathyroid gland, which controls calcium balance in the body.

Nowadays many patients only have half of the thyroid removed (the part with the tumor),

which allows you to dodge these side effects.

Depending on the specifics of your case, you might also need radiation, chemo, or a "targeted"

medication.

The entire time I knew him,

he only ever had one goal.

To wipe out half the universe.

The left half.

If he gets all the Infinity Stones...

Nobody move!

I dropped a stone.

...he can do it with the snap of his fingers.

- What are you doing? - Nothing.

Are you one of those people who can't snap their fingers?

No. My hands are just greasy.

Tell me his name again.

Fanos.

I thought it started with a "T".

It does.

Say it again.

Fanos.

Are you saying "Fanos"?

With an "F"?

No, I'm saying "Fanos".

OK, all I'm hearing is "Fanos".

Well you're crazy because I'm saying "Fanos"!

OK, so you can't snap your fingers, you can't say "Thanos"...

There's a lot of things I can do!

You've just happened to stumble across my two disabibble-ies.

Well done to you.

I am sorry, Vis.

It is too distracting.

We have to get it removed.

Don't worry - they assured me it is a painless procedure.

Either I've finally hit puberty... or...

Oh my god!

The Chrysler building looks so majestic this morning!

Oop. We're in trouble.

That giant Froot Loop looks just as scary when it's completely out of focus.

Hey, Pete.

So you're Spider-Man, huh? That's cool.

Dang it!

Oh, MJ - You can't tell anyone, OK?

Trust me.

I won't "say" a word.

What's that sound?

Nothing.

I gotta go.

My spider fingers!

Engage all defences.

Close the back fence also.

And get this man a shaving kit.

Welcome back, Captain America.

I'm not Captain America anymore.

Oh I heard about this.

You are "Nomad", yes?

No.

I am...

Captain Amish!

And I now use my superhuman strength to raise barns

and churn unprecedented quantities of butter.

So I can't help you save the world,

but if you want something to spread on your bread, give me a call.

Oh wait - I don't have a phone.

Hey Thanos,

want to get stoned?

No, Loki!

Don't bow to peer pressure!

Bow to skull pressure!

Like sooooo!

Who's got the Tesseract cracker?

Thank you.

Oh, goodie.

I was hoping I'd get this one.

Who the hell are you three?

"Three"?

There's six of us.

Fool, are you blind?!

Of course I can only see half of you - I've lost an eye!

That makes no sense.

Who said that??

SHOW YOURSELF, SORCERESS!

We got one advantage:

He's coming to us.

Which means we save on travel expenses, visas, parking...

Plus, we have what Thanos wants, so we can name our price -

six thousand, eight thousand...

And then there's postage and handling, sales tax, finder's fee...

We're looking at a cool twenty G's.

Easy.

Aren't you... like, a billionaire?

How do you think I became one?

Selling weapons to terrorists.

No. Common mistake.

It was swindling intergalactic supervillains.

OK, your plan sucks.

Let me do the plan, cos I once came up with 12% of a plan and I saved a whole plan-et!

I figure, 30% of plan...

should be enough to save the universe.

Um... that's some questionable math, Peter.

Shut up, Peter!

Quick question: how do you pronounce your name?

Is it "Thainoss"? Is it "Thainose"?

Is it "Thanoss"? Is it "Fanoss"?

Or is it...

"The Anus"?

No one's... called me that since...

Hey look everyone - it's "The Anus"!

Check out his proctology glove.

Oh look - he's so embarrassed he's turning pink!

I'm not The Anus anymore!

YOW!!!

Oh hey, "Iron Spider".

Well, you stole the last of my iron so I guess I'm "Lycra Spandex Man" now.

See this?

That's on you.

How to Shoot a HYPERLAPSE - Duration: 6:40.

A hyperlapse is basically a moving time-lapse. It creates a very interesting

impossible kind of camera movement and it's actually not that difficult or

time-consuming, so seeing us this is one of my most requested tutorials, this week

I want to show you how I shoot my hyperlapses.

The first and most important step

to shooting a great hyperlapse is choosing a great location. Obviously

you'll need a lot of open and preferably flat space to move around in. You'll also

need to find a location with a point for you to focus your camera on and move

towards. It's especially helpful if this point is located on a vertical line. That

vertical line is why you see so many hyperlapses of buildings or towers.

Having an additional line on the ground leading up to that point like a sidewalk

is also extremely helpful because you can follow that line while you're

shooting. The only gear you need to shoot a good hyperlapse is your camera and

your lens. You can use a tripod and you'll get a slightly more stable shot

but if you shoot it handheld it's significantly faster. Using a wide-angle

lens is definitely better for a hyperlapse because it's going to make

that camera motion appear a lot larger and more dramatic. I won't be using my

wide-angle lens because I broke it, so there's that. A good hyperlapse does take

some editing so you're going to want to shoot in a pretty high resolution and

quality so that you can have the flexibility to edit in post. Make sure to

enable your camera's guide lines and center marker and if you have an

in-camera level using that can definitely be helpful. Before you start

shooting you need to decide on a camera motion for your shot. This could be

moving towards your subject or away from your subject, you could move past it or

around it but the easiest one is definitely just moving straight towards

that subject. Next you'll need to figure out how much you need to move and how

many photos you need to take to complete that camera motion. For every 24 photos

you take you're going to have one second of your final hyperlapse so

if you want to shoot a four second long hyperlapse you need to take 96 photos.

This means that the more distance you have to cover the more you'll need to

move in between your shots. When I shot this hyperlapse I wasn't covering too

great of a distance so I only took one step in between the photographs. However

for this one I was covering a significantly longer distance so I took

I believe 10 steps between those photos. Once you've done that you finally get to

move on to actually shooting that hyperlapse and the process itself is

actually quite simple. All you need to do is focus on that point, get your camera

level, take a photo, and then take a step forward and repeat. Making sure that

you're moving in a straight line just line it up, take a photo, step forward,

take another photo, step forward, and keep going for a long-ass time.

Once you've taken all of your photos we'll take those and play them rapidly

together like a time-lapse or a stop-motion animation. At this point

after all that work and all that time you can finally look back and just

appreciate the wonderful hyperlapse that you've created. Just kidding, it looks

terrible and we have loads of editing to do so let's do that. I'm doing my

editing using a program called HitFilm Express but if you use Premiere Pro you

can still follow along with this tutorial and achieve a very similar

effect. Start off by importing all of the photos for your hyperlapse as an image

sequence, and if your software doesn't allow you to import an image sequence

then just go into the settings, change the default image duration to a single

frame, and then drag all of your pictures onto the timeline and you can re-export

that timeline and you'll be able to view your hyperlapse

as a video. It's basically like stop-motion. Now that you've turned that

group of photos into a single video it's time to stabilize that shaky camera

motion. Warp stabilizer can be quite helpful and a lot of people use that for

their hyperlapses but if that doesn't work then there's a method that I prefer

to use which is manual stabilization using motion tracking. I know that sounds

scary but just stay with me, it's really not that bad. Using a two-point track,

track the focal point of your hyperlapse as well as another point in the image

moves similarly. That's why it's really good to have a vertical line as your

subject, because having that second point as another point on the vertical line

will give you easily the best result that you can have. If your second

tracking point is in a completely different part of the frame than your

first one then you're going to get weird warping and rotating effects when you

stabilize your shot. So just make sure you pick something that has a motion

similar to that of your main points. Once you've finished tracking both

points use that two-point track to stabilize the position and rotation of

your clip and finally just add some motion blur to the entire shot to create

the illusion of that fast motion. At this point if you did everything right you

should be done for real and you should be able to go back and just enjoy

watching your hyperlapse. It really is quite satisfying. Before this video ends

I want to do something a little bit differently this week to get you guys

more engaged with this video and make this channel more interactive. Just go

out and, using the techniques that I've discussed in this video, make a hyperlapse of your own

and send it to me. And if you send me a hyperlapse that you've done yourself I will include it and shout you

out in a video not next week but two weeks from now. I think this will be a

great way to not only feature some of your work on my channel in addition to

my own but also to kind of allow me to see how my tutorials are helping you or

maybe not helping you and see any impact that these videos are having on what you

are creating. I'd love to make my tutorials more of an interactive process

so if you're interested in that go ahead and send me something that you make

using this video and I'll include it in the video two weeks from now. But anyway

that is all for this week's video I hope you enjoyed it, learned something from it

and if you did do feel free to show your support by leaving a like on the

video or even subscribing to my channel I upload new filmmaking tutorials every

single Saturday, keep creating and I'll see you in the next one.
