Welcome to NEETLab - A Place where you build your medical dream.

In this video, I am going to discuss about the options available for students who scored

300-400 marks in NEET examination.

If you are looking for guidance for MBBS admission counselling, subscribe to this youtube channel

now and click the bell button to receive latest updates.

NEET score to get govt medical college depends mainly on the state, community reservation

category you are going to apply during the mbbs admission and any other category reservations

applicable to the state in which you are applying.

You need to undertstand that with NEET score of less than 400, it is difficult to get government

quota MBBS seat even in you apply under SC category.

Do you know last year cutoff for getting govt college medical seat in All India Quota was

490 for SC candidates.

For many states, where there are less than 700 MBBS seats in government colleges, it

is difficult for SC category to get seat under state quota in government medical college.

In general, the cutoff for state quota for every reservation category would be same or

little less than the All India Quota cutoff because of high competition within these states.

Most of the north eastern states except Assam have less than 200 MBBS governmentt seats.

Assam which has 720 seats.

There are no private medical colleges in north eastern states, so there is no possiblity

of getting govt quota seat in private colleges at Rs 4 lakhs/annum tuition fees.

The list of states which have less than 700 MBBS seats are given here in this list.

In these states, 400 marks is not sufficient for SC category students to get govt seats.

When it comes to A -category seats which are state government quota seats in private colleges,

all these states have no or 1 or 2 private medical colleges having less than 500 MBBS

seats making it difficult to get govt quota seats in private colleges too.

The only state which is exception is the Puducherry which has close to 1000 private college MBBS

seats.

If you belong to any other state mentioned in this video, subscribe to this youtube channel

now so that you will get notification when I publish videos covering the remaining states.

If your neet score falls in the range of 300-400, and you belong to any of these states your

chances to get government college and state govt quota in private medical colleges is

less.

You have three options to choose from.

The first option is to drop out this year and set big target score so that you will

get in reputed medical colleges.

The second option is to study MBBS under management quota in private colleges.

Fees for private college management quota are generally in the range of 18 to 30 lakhs/year.

The third option is to study Medicine abroad in reputed universities.

Fees for good abroad medical universities range between 4 lakhs/year to 8 lakhs/year.

If you have doubts and need guidance to choose the best college to study MBBS at an affordable

Mental Health and How I Deal | Let's Chat! - Duration: 11:11.

Oof x4

Hello gang!

A little bit of a more relaxed video.

I got my glasses. Got a big hoodie.

For those of you that do not know, May is mental health awareness month

So I figured I would do a chill video talking about mental health, and how I deal, and all that jazz.

Because, there's nothing wrong with talking about mental health, and we should get used to it. You know?

So, I've kind of always struggled with my mental health, like my whole life growing up.

Specifically with anxiety, I had really bad social anxiety and separation anxiety.

And over the years it's gotten a lot better, and kind of morphed and manifested into other things.

I still have pretty bad social anxiety

But I also struggle with depression, and that kind of side of things

'Cuz those two kind of just go hand in hand.

Perfect little pair to ruin you.

Growing up it was really around, um,

Speaking in front of the class, doing presentations, stuff like that.

Now I really struggle with going into stores and talking to cashiers, making transactions, talking to new people

Stuff like that is more what I struggle with

And more, like, day to day what is upsetting to me.

I would say it didn't really become like an issue until I turned like 13

And then it was a very big issue, I actually had to be pulled out of school for a little bit.

I basically just slept for four months, I had a really bad depressive episode.

But that is when I cut my hair, A,

And B, I also started seeing a therapist, which is very beneficial, for me at least.

And, at the time, was extremely beneficial.

I don't want to, like, accidentally bring the tone of this down.

I don't want to make this a sad, serious video.

Because, that's not, like, how I am with this kind of stuff.

Like, this isn't a super sad, serious topic for me. It's more just like, this is my life.

And I want it to just be chill

And I am okay, like making jokes about it, like it's totally

Thank you, train.

It's not like something that's weird for me, so I don't want to bring the tone down.

I am actually still not in normal school, because of mental health stuff.

Like, how it manifests now is more...

I can't be in crowded places, I have a lot of executive dysfunction, I have a lot of self care issues.

Like, it's more internal than, like, external.

Whereas, when I was younger, it was a lot more like

If I didn't like something, I would just cry, like kids do.

But now, it's more I just internalize it and internalize it, and get really, really tired.

But that's more how it manifests now, so I really have to be careful with...

Like, making sure that I talk to people, making sure that I eat, making sure that I take my meds

Stuff like that, because I'll just forget to do that.

Like, I'll just go in my room and just not talk to anybody for days.

In the past couple of years, I've really taken initiative, to make sure that I have a support system in place

Of people that will text me, or message me, and make sure that I ate, and drank water, and took my meds

And I use apps, I use Booster Buddy and Aloe Bud.

Two I would highly recommend.

If you are more of a goal oriented type person, and you want rewards, I would highly recommend Booster Buddy.

If you just want reminders, and like little things to be able to check in and see if you did it, I would recommend Aloe Bud.

Not sponsored by either, but if either of them wants to hit me up, please.

Hello.

I see a therapist weekly, to just kind of shoot the shit and talk about my life, and just how it is and how I've been doing.

I've been seeing her for like five years.

I think there's a lot of weird stigma around therapy.

And I want to do a whole video about therapy, and exchanges I've had with my therapist, because my therapist is hilarious.

I think people go and I think they just think of lying on a table, being psychoanalyzed kind of thing, when they think therapy.

And that's not it at all. Like my therapist- we literally talk about like podcasts

Like, last week I went in there and I literally talked about The Bright Sessions for, like, twenty minutes

And, like, got after her for not being caught up

That's literally the dynamic we have.

Just having someone to talk to is so beneficial.

I think when you're really in it you don't realize how much you need someone to just-

Not even try and help you, because it can feel like everyone around you is trying to help you and you don't want that-

So, to not even try and help you, but to just talk to you

It's really nice to have that.

Another thing that's really helped me with my anxiety had actually been meditation and mindfulness

And I know everyone that has anxiety has been asked, like,

"Oh my god, have you tried yoga? Have you tried meditation?"

It's like...

"Yeah, Karen. I have. Of course I have."

But if you can actually find something that jives with you

And isn't just like, "okay breathe in for seven seconds" and just teaches you 7/11 breathing

Or like, something stupid like that

It actually is beneficial.

I use two different apps. I use RelaxMelodies, and I just found one the other day that I really like.

I'm blanking on the name, hold on.

It's called Simple Habit, it's super easy to use, it has a really simple interface.

*phone dings*

Sorry, that's my girlfriend.

But yeah, both have courses for sleep, or just quick relaxation.

You can do five, ten, or twenty minute sessions, and just- you could do just like a quick check in

I've found that to be extremely beneficial, like if I'm feeling a panic attack coming on

I'll just do a quick check in, and be like "hey why is this happening? what's going on?"

And just taking a second to just put your earbuds in, close your eyes, focus on your breathing

And just be with yourself, and see what's happening, and what's going on.

And just feeling the emotions, validating the emotions, and letting them go

Letting them pass, is very beneficial to me.

And it might not be to you-

oh my god.

Sometimes when I meditate I'll use crystals, sometimes I don't

Sometimes I'll just sit there.

But just having something in your hands to kind of ground you is nice.

But that's just more personal preferance.

I find crystals to be very nice, and I like the energy

Personal preference, everybody has one.

That's just mine.

That's all I can think of, for this video

I don't want it to be super long, and I don't want it to be super serious, so

I'm just gonna keep it short and sweet, and just...

Keep it whatever.

I will list every app that I mentioned in the description

And maybe I'll link some helpful sources down there as well, for people that are struggling with anxiety, or whatever.

Whatever you got!

Don't feel ashamed to talk about your mental health, or to ask for help if you need it.

There's no shame in any of this, we all have something, and that's the moral of the story here.

You're gonna be okay.

It's all gonna be okay.

Hope you enjoyed, hope you're well, and until next time.

If there is one place you should come and see

that's where FC Barcelona's great team plays.

But what's a little more annoying

the Camp Nou is on the other side of Barcelona

so it's a bit longer

It's not that accessible

even though it's going all right on the subway.

So now we're in the Camp Nou museum.

This is really amazing, this is great.

There is really a complete immersion

on the history of the FC Barcelona.

Look at that, that's fantastic.
