my Freddy's flowers are ten days old I thought you'd like to see how I'm going
to leave out them in a bit so I've met even more enjoyment out of them my
name's Julie from Julie Davies flower workshops and #FlowerStart the online
flower arranging classes come and join me so after some I did that I don't
really like the fast my flowers ruin I put my chose particularly and narrow
neck bars so the flowers were done sit really nicely there's nothing wrong with
the flowers at all but I just don't like the way that they've been displayed so I
need to throw away my water in fact my water was running low and that's the
problem of arranging your flowers in an opaque files where she can't see much
water you've got in them but because of that I know I did put lots of watering
to start with but if you're using a glass bars you can be keeping an eye on
it so looking through my flowers here I've got the greenery - still nothing
healthy holiday go which is goldenrod and I still got lovely other glues it's
hard to believe these flowers are ten days old and then the purple tricky Liam
probably perhaps this piece of piss - is drying outside in fact as I pulled it
out of ours I can see that these stems were wet where they were leaning the
water and actually that's dry so perhaps it's a slightly shorter stem and you
imagine it's not being in the water so this one will have to go through the
compost heap so I'll just throw this away
and then we've got the lovely raises I had six way to start with and I can see
already this Rose has died it's such a shame but it is ten days old what you
expect up to 10 days so again never go straight into my compost tea the other
races are looking remarkably good my two red roses one large one small two orange
roses we just started to open out they are looking slightly cried John around
the edges but I'm fine just enjoying these flowers at home you know I will
put them back on the farms and then what with my favorite rose with its partner
who died the one that looks like Mars but if an ice cream - a white rose with
tinge of pink so just to change things up a bit
I've decided that I'm going to put my flowers into a glass slide advance okay
bottom and it's going to pinch their neck but it's not quite as narrow it was
that first one I had and what I would do is recut my stems using it's like a test
for the woody stems and I'll use my normal flower arranging scissors for the
other sense I'm taking off it's a greener that is stuff and just
look a bit faded so crossing belief in the autumn I don't want nothing in the
water but the stems if everything falls in if you can try and rescue it so go
nice green structure there and I'll arrange my flowers through there
and every time I will cut the stems and by creating that little network or stems
in the middle it just means all your flowers hold up a little bit more so I'm
taking about a couple of centimetres at the end of each stem got three solid a
goes so I can put this in in thirds so if you were looking for my body to see a
sort of doctor doctor three other pieces of flower my roses I'm going to put in
in threes as well some powering those roses together or slightly different
colors so my favorite one at the front so I can see if I'm going to we cut all
those stems fresh cuts I can be sure they're still taking up water I'm
feeding those through the arrangement I'm making that triangle so doctor doc
triangles if you look from above you clearly see my god sweet points a
rose and then a rose and the rose and then come back at this point deciding
where my front of my bars is so that my other flowers are lost as a part of
putting flowers in the back okay if you're going to be arranging it or
leaving it in store because you're not going to be able to enjoy the flowers
it's not got my roses in next red one in the middle of some of the side shoots at
the roses there and the bigger rose underneath and then my two trip helium
and the only advice here is not but that makes it it got to the purple eyes or do
the purple ears normally I would just put them down to
separate them out of it so I could push one down don't be afraid to cut the
flowers down a bit lower taller just so that offset slightly so I've got 1/2 of
the front and one towards the back and that whole arrangement just looks a tiny
bit looser it's gonna take that off there it's falling a little bit and I
should get you know a few more days after that and it's only ten days old so
I'm doing really well with that box of flowers and if you like to make their
