How To Grill Chicken Wings Recipe - Duration: 4:04.

Mixing 3 lbs chicken wings, 18g crush garlic, 1/2 cup hot sauce, 1/2 cup lemon juice

so you keep the grill pretty low for chicken just spread them out

and we had a lot of extra juice

so we're going to be basting these [chicken] wings periodically

and it's time to check them this grill is doing about 400 degrees on low. So now we put a little coat on

and then we're gonna turn them so again we have quite a bit of liquid here so we

want to do this several times

my grill is smoking a bit because I've put some... I have a little wood chip

holder because I like it a little bit smokey but that's totally optional

so these wings in my opinion are going to be better than your fried buffalo

wings and you don't have to deal with any of those nasty rancid vegetable oils

JAPAN HAUL 2017: 20 Things You Must Buy in JAPANㅣWooLara Company - Duration: 8:01.

Hello everyone

All these are things that I bought in Japan

Finally I'm showing these to you

I only bought souvenirs that all Koreans buy when they visit Japan

All these are must-have items

If you don't know what to buy when you travel to Japan

then this video will help you

Let's open this bag first!

On the top of all, there are my lovely Starbucks tumblers

These are only sold in Japan

Tada~KYOTO!

This is from Kyoto~

You can see the traditional figures of Japan

KYOTO!

This time, it's from TOKYO!

It's not Kyoto, It's Tokyo

Drawings on the tumbler is more modern than Kyoto

Next bag~

I bought 5 of these in Japan

It's an eye drop

I really liked the design first of all

and it has pink colored water in it

and if you drop it into your eyes, it's super cool

It feels like you dropped sparkling water

You will never regret~

Next ones are,

Japanese cup noodles!

I really love Ramens so much

and I heard Japanese cup noodles are different from Korean's

so I bought these!

Firstly,

Cheese curry flavor!

Second one's the curry flavor

Third one is just an ordinary flavor

First huge difference was there's no spicy flavor

In Korea, most of Ramens are spicy

but in Japan, there were curry and cheese flavors

Since Koreans love spicy things, these were new to me

So I bought these three

and I will try these from now on

(why the face?)

Another snack!

Ah it's dented

Hokkaido white cheese cake

Hok kai do wha ei tto cheese ke ki

Well it has cheese in it so I hope it's good

(No it wasn't, don't buy this!!)

Next one is a girl's favorite

Laduree keyrings!

Tada~

How beautiful is this?

I bought three of this for me, my friend and my mom

Next one is Jung Gwan Jang Hong Sam Jung 'Every Time'

This is not a Japanese souvenir

How sad is it! Being sick when you are traveling!

So I personally make sure to take healthy food and medicines

These little things are inside of that box

I bought this from the duty free shop

If I don't have this when I'm traveling, I feel insecure

My boyfriend gets sick so often

I personally recommend you to buy this when you come to Korea

and give this to your parents

Since I introduced you the healthy food

I'm going to show you medicines I bought in Japan

Tada~ Kya Be Jin~!

This is for my father

This is good for people who have soar stomach

This is also for my father

Salon patch A

This is super popular in Japan

If your arms and shoulder are uncomfortable,

attach these patches on those!

You'll feel like someone's massaging for you

Of course I bought something for my mom too

There's a Chinese letter which means "Mom" literally

It's specially good for the menopause

It's a daily supplement

I also bought a medicine for me too, but it's not a health food

If you are a Korean woman, you will be on a diet 24/7

Nakata Kotoni (It means, never happened)

If you eat this before you eat meals

It restrains what you eat turns into fats in your body

And, when you go traveling,

you might want to buy things for your friends too

So I bought many of these

These are Japan only NIVEA peach lip balms

Why do they sell these only in Japan not in Korea?

I thought it was perfect for the presents of my friends

So I bought multiples

And I'm very interested in hair products

so I wanted to buy a new hair mask in Japan

and this is a popular one in Japan

Honeyce hair mask!

Koreans recommended this hair mask very much on the internet

So I bought two!

I'm exited to try these. If this is good, I'll buy more

Next one is, a Japanese sun screen that every Korean might have used

Anessa Sun screen

I used this much and I liked it

It's especially good to use before the makeup

I'm using sun screens everyday to care my skin

so sun screens are important to me

I also got the recommendation to buy this from the internet

Biore! I bought the rose scent

This is a wet tissue to use in summer

When your skins are sticky, use this then it'll be dry

and the humid feeling will disappear

according to the internet

Next one is Ora Toothpaste

Peach flavored!

I heard this is the toothpaste that Japanese women love the most

This is a must buy item that all Korean women buy!

This is a Sirukoto cosmetic cotton

It keeps your skin moist even if you use half of your cosmetics

It was cheap so I bought two

Next one is the world must buy item in Japan

If you attach this on the spots in the picture

especially everyday at night when you are traveling

at the end of the day, if you use this before you sleep

It makes your feet less tired

This is literally the must buy item. JUST BUY

Use this when you are traveling everyday!

Next one's not a must buy or a regular souvenir

I saw Japanese women decorating themselves from head to toe

Even their socks were pretty

So I bought these Japanese socks

Thre's a star here, isn't it pretty?

There were many of these types

This one has a star and something else

This one is also super popular

I only bought popular souvenirs so everything's popular....

This one is Meguri eye mask

If you open it, there are these things

If you use this when you are sleeping,

It'll be warm and it helps you to sleep better

This one is definitely the one that every Koreans would buy

Perfect whip foam cleanser

When I need to wash my makeup, I use cleansing oil first

and then I use this product

So I bought this in Japan because it's cheaper

I use this everyday!

These are the things that we paid for in Japan

All the money's gone....

I don't regret though!

Some of you will go to Japan and buy things

If you are, why don't you capture things I bought and buy in Japan!

I mean, just buy! These are basic souvenirs that Japan newbies buy

Ah so well.... I should try harder and make money again!

Then!

Bye!

Bye bye~

Introducing my amazing camera!

Focus!

What are my Voter Information Pamphlet Options? - Duration: 2:24.

Hi I'm Barbara Carr, the Publications Manager at the San Francisco Department of Elections.

Before every election, the San Francisco Department of Elections

produces a Voter Information Pamphlet and Sample Ballot or VIP.

It is designed to help voters prepare, plan, and participate in the election and

includes information about the candidates running for office and local

ballot measures. State and local law specify what must be included in the VIP.

By law, the Department of Elections must send a copy to each registered voter

about one month before the election. You may be familiar with the paper version

mailed to your home but did you know there are different VIP options

available? Which works best for you?

If you would like to save resources you can read the VIP online rather than receiving it in the mail.

The VIP is posted online in several accessible formats. An HTML version that can be read on a computer or mobile device.

It features easy navigation around the

various sections and you can also increase the font size or use the text

only feature. An mp3 audio version and a printable PDF format if you want to

download it and make notes. To stop mail delivery of the VIP and read it online

instead, you must provide a valid email address. Request to stop your paper VIP

mailing at www.sfelections.org or by filling out a form at the Department

office or at an outreach event. To make sure this change takes effect before

your VIP for the next election is mailed, make the request at least 50 days--that's

7 weeks--before the election. The Department will send you an email when

the VIP is available online for each election. The Department also mails large

print and audio versions of the VIP. To request that we send you a large print or

audio VIP, visit www.sfelections.org or call (415) 554-4375.

The audio VIP is available on a USB flash drive or on a CD.

Chinese, Spanish, and Filipino versions of the VIP are also available both online

and by mail. To request the VIP in another language by mail, use the

language preference tool at www.sfelections.org. You will also receive a VIP in English.

For more information visit www.sfelections.org or contact the Department of Elections.

Thank you for being a San Francisco voter!

Inking with Matt: The Gasenfude Nylon Brush Pen - Duration: 5:03.

Geeze, guys- I'm so happy you're back.

Here's what we're going to be going over: it's my favorite inking tool, it's the

Gasenfude Nylon Brush, ohhhh it's amazing!

Look that up!

Now, here's what I would always suggest.

Always have at least two of these on hand for this reason: the first one, if it's

your very first Gasenfude, you're gonna wanna take the time to go ahead and just play

around without expectation of any kind and just play around and have fun with it.

Start discovering all the amazing things it can do.

Without giving yourself time to play around you might put this this nice little beautiful

art tool down waaay before you find out how cool it is.

So here's some things that I do, that helped me find some of the cool things it does for

me.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with this.

If I put the actual brush tip straight up and down and I barely touch it to the paper

I can get these really nice lines.

With a little flicking and a feathering, like that.

But also, if I put a little more pressure, if there's a little more pressure on the

pen, I can get a little bit thicker lines.

And then even a little thicker lines.

Little more pressure on the pen.

And you develop the sensibility the ability to do this.

Some people, they do these pulling flick lines: you're gonna find your voice- what works

for you.

What works for me might be different than what works for you.

Now let's just say I turn it a little bit to the side and I can do this beautiful dry-brush

feather.

Guys, I almost just have to sit back and "ooo and ahh" because I think that looks lovely.

Who knows?

Maybe you don't like it?

That's why it's your voice and not mine.

I love that.

You could do a nice smash into a nice dry brush technique and this is a brilliant thing

I love about this nylon brush.

It can- you can just beat the tar out of this thing.

You can just slay that tip out like that and every other nylon brush I work with, that'll

ruin it, right there.

But the thing I love about this is, all I have to do is pull turn, just like that- and

it's right back to its really nice tip and I start doing more fine lines like this.

I got through almost 12 pages of art before this started running out of ink, which is

a lot of art.

Now, let's do this.

I'm going to go ahead and just smash that tip.

"He's ruining it!!!"

No I'm not!

And I really get to do this fun dry brush technique, on let's say this robot.

Then I will also show you a cool thing you can do, technically, with the Gasenfude.

Now I want to save you all the embarrassment, just in case some of you out there call it

the, "GAS and Food Eh?"

Someone will say something to you, not gonna be me, I know what you mean.

There are just some people out there that things just have to be said correctly every

darn time.

And correctly it's Gasenfude.

And you must say it with a nice tone…

Gasenfude.

Now, seeing this really nice dry brush kind of adds a beautiful texture to your artwork.

I love that.

Oh, by the way, I smashed that tip to oblivion, NO I DIDN'T!

It's back to a nice point.

And you can get all these beautiful curves on your robot…

Who inks a robot with a nylon brush!?

I don't know… right here.

Here's a final thing for all of you.

You'll see a lot of nice straight lines up here on this robot.

Lemme show you how to do that.

Grab a ruler, pull that nylon brush to a nice tip, let's do this.

Just rest it right there on that ruler, like this, and then put a little bit of pressure

and then if you want to get that line a little thicker, a little more pressure.

You can get some really nice variance of lines with your ruler and your brush.

And that's how I'm able to get these really nice lines here that looks like they're

ruled lines- from a pen.

Gasenfude guys, take time to play with this and always have another one on hand so when

it's time to make your masterpiece you're ready to go.

Why The Cops Won't Help You When You're Getting Stabbed - Duration: 5:57.

- If you've ever been on the internet,

I mean you're here right now,

you probably wound up in the comment section

of at least one article about a mass shooting,

some other kinda killing spree,

and seen dozens of assholes make comments like,

- [InternetBadass69] Dude, if I was there

I would've totally stopped that guy.

I totally know kung-fu

and I'd just like knock the weapon out of his hand

and then break his neck with a spin kick and

then my mom would finally love me.

- My name is Joe Lozito, and one day in 2011

my morning commute was interrupted by the tail end

of a 28-hour long stabbing spree.

The reason that spree ended is because I stopped it,

and I learned

the stabber Maksim Gelman

was already famous across the city.

I didn't know any of that though because

I had gotten up too early to catch the paper.

So when an obviously high person

staggered crazily into the train,

I just kind of figured morning in New York, you know?

That creepy guy who I'd later learned was Gelman

started banging on the door of the engineer's compartment.

- Let me in.

- I was sitting right by the door.

The only thing separated the engineer and myself was a wall.

It turned out there were two cops

on the other side of the door.

Lying in wait in case Gelman hopped on this train.

I found out later they'd recognized him

but they didn't charge out to stop him.

Instead they asked him a polite question.

- Who are you?

- I'm the police.

- You're not the police.

- You'd expect two armed cops to,

I don't know, maybe do something

about a wanted fugitive spree killer

that they were on the train specifically to arrest,

but they'd stayed put.

So Gelman walked up to me,

whipped out an eight-inch knife and told me,

- You're going to die.

- Then he stabbed me.

I was in the sort of situation

every man thinks about at least twice a day,

suddenly thrust into a life or death situation

that required me to become a badass.

Unfortunately, I had no badass training,

but I have watched a lot of MMA,

and when he brought back his arm to stab me again,

I decided to dive in for a single leg takedown.

It should have looked like this

but in reality I shot him too high

and wound up tackling him by the waist

rather than getting him in the leg.

So he stabbed me repeatedly in the skull.

The good news if you aren't a badass

is that you can have no idea what you're doing

but still succeed on dumb luck and balls.

I outweighed Gelman by a lot so he went down

despite the power of a knife on his side.

So we're both on the ground.

I'm on top but he still got his stabbing machine in hand.

I tried to grab his right hand

which held the knife with my left

but I missed and he sliced me good in the thumb.

I tried to catch him a second time and failed

so he slashed me again in my left tricep.

My third grab was the charm though.

I caught his hand and slammed it into the ground.

He dropped the knife.

Once I had him pinned, I was, you know, dying of blood loss.

The cops decided it was safe enough to arrest Gelman.

Next thing I remember is a cop tapping me on the shoulder.

- You can get up now, we got him.

- I thought that was being charitable but that time

I didn't exactly feel argumentative.

There was no pain yet, just this warm feeling

from the blood gushing out of me.

It was like standing in the shower

with warm water spraying the top of your head

and flowing down the back of your neck.

And again when you'd expect the police

to jump to my aid, they didn't.

None of them even touched me.

The only guy to render aid was another passenger.

Alfred Douglas a.k.a Napkin Man

because he staunched my bleeding injuries with napkins.

I think Napkin Man probably saved my life

but at this point I'd been stabbed roughly

all the times a person can be stabbed

while remaining conscious

and so I passed out.

When I eventually came to in the hospital,

it was kind of frustrating to realize

that none of the early coverage mentioned me or Napkin Man.

The police gave all the credit to the two officers

who'd been in the subway train with me,

only neither of them actually even left the booth

until I disarmed Gelman.

During the grand jury hearing,

one of the cops testified.

- I started to come out, I opened the door,

but I thought Gelman had a gun,

so I closed the door and stayed inside.

- I can see how in a stressful situation

you might mistake a knife for a gun,

but that also that kinda makes it more infuriating.

If you, Mr. Cop, a police, thinks this insane

drug-addled murderer has a gun,

and he's sitting on a train bound for Time Square,

don't you wanna stop him at all costs?

So yeah I decided to sue the NYPD.

The first case I brought got dropped.

So I acted as my own lawyer for the second case

and finally made it to a judge.

The judge said,

- Mr. Lozito's version of the story sounds highly credible

and his version of events rings true.

- But I still lost the case.

Here's how that was justified in its original legal ease.

- No direct promises of protection were made to Mr. Lozito,

nor were there direct actions taken

to protect Mr. Lozito prior to the attack.

Therefore a special duty did not exist.

- It turns out there was a major piece

of legal precedent in my way.

In 2005 the Supreme Court ruled on Castle Rock v. Gonzales.

In that case a woman sued the Castle Rock PD

after they failed to respond

when she complained that her estranged husband

had violated a protective order and abducted their kids.

He eventually murdered them.

The Supreme Court ruled in the police department's favor.

It turns out it's literally not their job to protect people.

So to the internet badasses

who are about to comment on this video

and claim they'd totally nail the takedown,

you should make a note of a few things.

First my insurance

had me in and out of the hospital in two days,

and the hospital didn't give me any AIDS or Hepatitis test

after I've been stabbed with a knife

that had stabbed other people.

Apparently that's not medically necessary.

Second if you ever get the chance

to confront a dangerous armed madman,

don't trust in the police having your back,

don't expect to get the credit,

and hope like hell there's another Napkin Man

waiting in the wings to help you.

How to Clean a Cartridge Filter - Duration: 1:06.

Cleaning your pool cartridge filter is easy,

and it helps keep your pool system in top shape.

All you'll need is a hose,

filter cartridge bath,

cleaner tablet

and some o-ring lubricant.

The best time to clean your filter is when your pressure gauge reads 10 PSI over it's normal operating level

First, turn off your filter pump.

Next, open your air relief valve to release the pressure inside the tank.

Open the tank and remove the filter.

Check your o-ring, and apply lubricant if needed.

This keeps it functioning properly.

Spray your filter with a garden hose to remove any loose debris.

Be careful not to use too much pressure.

Now, it's ready to soak.

Fill the cartridge bath with water and add a Suncoast Cartridge Cleaner Tablet.

Place the cartridge in the bath and let soak for 25 mins.

Remove the filter from the bath, rinse again

and let it dry completely before reinserting

Turn the pump back on, and you are good to go!

How to hand letter on your T Shirt with fabric paint - Duration: 5:50.

Hello friends!

Welcome to another Smiling Colors video.

I'm Smitha and today's video is all about how to hand letter onto your t-shirt.

That's right I am DIYing a T shirt to say Happy Halloween and this turned out to be

a pretty easy technique!

With this idea you can make your own custom T shirt with any phrase or saying of your

choice.

Here's the supplies you will need: A plain T shirt of your size, I got this at my local

craft store.

Some fabric paint.

I am using this dimensional fabric paint from my stash today.

You can totally free hand your lettering onto the T shirt, but I am using a template.

I lettered these two options here and sized them to be a big small and a bit larger.

I wasn't really sure how big I would need it for the T shirt.

These are printed on typing paper itself, nothing fancy.

And now that I am looking at these, I like this script better and I think I will go with

this one.

But I will have a free download of both of the lettering templates on my blog smilingcolors.com

Another item you will need- a light box.

This definitely makes it so much easier!

You'll see in a minute here.

I'm a visual person, so I had to see the lettering on the T shirt to decide on the

sizing, I like the bigger one, lets go with that.

Place the light pad inside your T-shirt.

Wiggle out all the wrinkles and lay your T shirt flat.

Now place the lettering template onto the light box.

Here let me turn on the light box so you can see that the template will be visible.

Now you want to move the template +light box down by about 4 inches from the neckline.

Use a ruler to make sure that your design in centered on the T shirt front.

A rough eyeballing would be to make sure that the centre P of the word happy lines up to

the middle of the neckline.

And now it it time to trace the lettering with our fabric paint.

I am going to turn the whole set up by about 45 degrees here so that its at a comfortable

angle for my wrist.

You can pin the paper template to the t shirt to prevent it from shifting while you painting,

but I have done stuff like this many times and I'm pretty sure I can do this without

pinning.

Before you start lettering- grab a scrap piece of paper and also a towel or paper napkin.

These two are very important.

First use your dimensional paint on a scrap piece of paper to remove any air bubbles and

also to determine how much pressure you need to apply to the bottle for the paint to come

out.

Once you have that figured out start tracing over the template slowly.

If you are right handed start from the left top corner and work your way towards the right

and downwards.

This way you wont smudge the wet paint with when your palm rests on the T shirt.

While using dimensional paints, apply an even amount of pressure and move your hand slowly

up and down to get neat lines.

You can use a round paintbrush with your fabric paints to trace over the template as well.

But I have to say this dimensional paint is much faster to trace with.

It is pretty easy but don't get too over confident.

Pay attention and go slowly.

And after a few lines, wipe your paint nozzle clean with the paper towel.

You want to keep doing this through out the tracing to avoid build up of paint on the

tip.

I actually ended up using the other print out as a reference on the side.

This helped me know the letter shapes that I need to trace easily.

Now my first idea for this T shirt was to totally free hand my lettering.

That would have been so much faster I thought.

BUT how would I center my letters to the T shirt??

And I knew that letters had to be in the center or else I would end up trashing this shirt.

So after thinking quite a bit I decided that tracing over a template would still be fast

enough.

For a second i thought about maybe leaving it like this just the outlines, but then I

decided to fill in the areas for a bolder font and I flooded the areas with the paint.

Make sure you keep your bottle completely upright and not at an angle to avoid smudging

the lettering you have here already.

Here's another option for you- if you don't have a light box- use a dress makers pencil

to sketch your design onto the T shirt first and then go over it with paint.

I got this light box just recently and have used it with my watercoloring till now- but

using it this way is so much more fun!

I'll speed up the video here for the "halloween word".

I am doing the same thing really and honestly at this point you get into a rhythm.

I'm also a little stoked at how cool this is turning out and am telling myself- just

slow down don't mess this up.

And we're done.

I'll turn off the light box here so you can see this easier.

My paint didn't actually stick to the paper beneath.

I was trying to see if that happened here by moving the fabric ever so slightly.

That's because dimensional paint is much thicker than regular fabric paint and doesn't

really soak into the fabric as much.

If you are painting with fabric paints, simple place a layer of cling wrap or clear tape

on top of the template before tracing.

Now comes the hard part.

Letting this dry.

Walk away from it and don't disturb it.

I finished this late at night and then went to bed after.

I am notorious at smudging things otherwise.

The next morning I came and checked and it dried so perfectly!

The paint looks even no cracks and it looks pretty good to me.

There is a slight dimension to the lettering but not too much at all.

I will heat set this according to the manufacturers info afterwards, but for now it's ready

to wear!

Here is how the T shirt looks all done and Hi! that's me!

Don't forget to stop by my blog for a list of the supplies and the free template download.

You Let me know in the comments below if you have any other questions about this technique.

Also if you have better ideas on how to transfer your lettering onto a T shirt.

I'd love to hear them!

Happy Halloween guys!

Want To Be Liked? - How To Make People Like You - Duration: 7:50.

Would you like to be able to make other people like you more? What would your

life be like if you were able to build massive amounts of trust and massive

amounts of rapport with as many people as possible? In this video, I'll share

with you how.

Have you ever wondered how to get people to like you more? Well first of all,

I have to possibly burst some bubbles here. There's no way to get absolutely

everyone on the planet to like you. It's just not going to happen, there are going

to be things that you do, things that you say maybe even things that you even wear

that are going to drive people crazy. I met with someone not too long ago and

they were in my office and they actually saw a copy of my best-selling book and

he said, that rubbed me the wrong way, I don't like that title, how come? Because

it has the word "sucks" in it. The title of my book is "Being Broke Sucks, So Stop It"

and for whatever reason he thought that the word sucks was offensive and so he

made up his mind very very quickly that he wasn't going to like me. Thankfully,

I learned some of these tools and we were able to overcome that and we ended up

having a great appointment. So how do you actually get someone to trust you and

like you more? It's all about building rapport, rapport is a total

responsiveness between two people and you know that you're in good rapport

when they are beginning to respond positively to you and occasionally, they

will actually begin to match and mirror what you're doing. People tend to like

other people that are like themselves. Go figure.

People tend to like other people that are like themselves or who are like how

they want to become and there are certain things that you can actually do

to increase the possibility that they will trust you and like you. Do you think

this could be important if you are, for example, doing a sales presentation?

Do you think maybe you would want them to trust you a little bit and actually like

what you're doing and like you as a person in order to get them to say yes?

The answer is, yeah! And so you may want to pay attention to some of these things.

There are a number of really simple things that you can actually match in a

person to help them subconsciously begin to trust and like you more. One of them

is your speed of voice. Have you ever realized that some people just tend to

talk really really slowly and no matter what you have to

accomplish that day, you can't get them to speed up if your life depended on it?

No, at the same time there are some people that I come from like really

really big cities and they love to talk they just talk really really fast and

you're like, holy cow man like like are you in such a hurry that you've got to

get like a thousand words out of your mouth? If you want to build rapport,

consider beginning to match how is it quickly they talk. Now obviously, that

doesn't mean make it totally obvious and if you a kind of speak with this type of

tone to suddenly start doing this, it means simply slow down your speed

just a little bit and begin to start matching the person that you're trying

to get into rapport with. Obviously again, don't make it super obvious that

you're doing so, make sure that they don't believe that you are trying to

mock them in any way, but again people tend to like other people that are like

themselves and so when you do that it may actually get them to begin to trust

and like you more. Another thing is posture. A lot of people for whatever

reason, they have this notion that they need to have their hands hidden or some

people actually stand up with their hands behind their back.

My friend, unless the person that you're with actually has their hands hidden

most of the time, it's a really good idea to keep your hands visible. This sends a

message to whoever you're talking to that you are open and that you have

nothing to hide. If the person that you're talking to kind of leaves over

like this, then you may consider not immediately but eventually kind of

leading a little bit the same way or the opposite direction. If the person kind of

leans forward a little bit, you may consider after a moment or two also

leaning forward. Again, this helps to build trust and rapport. If a person uses

certain verbage, especially if they are looking to purchase something like a

home, let's say that you're a real estate agent and a person comes to you saying,

"Oh my gosh, I want the most incredible home that you could show me."

If you came back and said, "Oh my word, I've got this amazing home to show you."

That could actually break rapport and get them not to buy because even to you,

if in your mind, an amazing home, an incredible home were do the same thing,

to them it might not be and so remember to always match the verbage that the

person that you're talking to uses. Another thing that you could do is look

at your notes. So you actually remember what you're going to say, that might

really really help, don't you think? Another thing that you could do is to

match the gestures that they use every now and then you might be talking to

someone and they might kind of do this or this really interesting, like movement,

like "Hey, what do you think about this idea here?" and of course you give it

a moment so to not make it super obvious that you're matching them and you can

say something like, "You know that's a great idea. Let me ask you a question

though, what do you think about this other idea here?" You may watch as her

eyes kind of get wide open and they're like, "Oh! This person gets me, this person

is like me." We're a friend. Another thing that you could watch is how much eye

contact the person gives you, nobody ever wants to feel creeped out and we've all

been there where we've been with a person and they get like super super

close to you and they sometimes get kind of like this, and they sometimes get kind of like this

and they don't want to break eye contact and you're like,

"Get away from me! You're being creepy!" Because who are the only people that do that?

Aliens, what's who! Most people actually break away after a moment or two, true?

One thing that you can actually do is you can gauge how long they maintain eye

contact with you before they look away and then what can you do? You gauge that

amount of time and just before they would look away, you briefly look away.

You can glance to the side, you can glance at their lips, you can glance

just slightly above them, just something to give them a break from the

eye contact. Doing so will allow them to keep their eye sight on you or possibly

on some sort of product or service that you are explaining to them and

it can actually increase the possibility of you closing a deal.

Wouldn't that be awesome? My friends, these are just a few ways. What are some

other ways that you have built rapport with other people? Make sure to tell us

in the comments below. My friends, you can do it. Love you!

Randy Shannon: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | SML News - Duration: 10:57.

Randy Shannon: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Randy Shannon, previously the coach of Miami, is set to serve as interim coach for Florida.

Florida's likely to make a permanent hire at the end of the season after firing football coach Jim McElwain, but for now, the Gators still have four more games to play in 2017.

Randy Shannon, the Gators' defensive coordinator, will be the man taking charge of the orange and blue for the remainder of the year.

Shannon, 51, has been with the Gators since 2015, when McElwain first came to Gainesville.

He'll be the third interim coach Florida has had in the past 13 years, as Ron Zook and Will Muschamp were both fired during their final season in Florida and replaced by Charlie Strong and D.J.

Durkin on an interim basis.

Shannon will have the longest interim tenure at Florida since 1989, when Gary Darnell replaced Galen Hall after Hall resigned under pressure from NCAA violations.

Here are five things you need to know about Shannon.

He's the Former Head Coach at Miami.

Randy Shannon, now the interim coach at Florida, spent four years coaching Miami.

Prior to coming to Gainesville, Shannon had essentially been a lifer with Miami football.

He joined the Hurricanes' program in 1985 out of high school and was a key contributor at linebacker during the Hurricanes' 1987 national championship season.

When he chose to pursue a coaching career, Miami was a natural fit.

He returned to his hometown as a graduate assistant at his alma mater and instantly became part of another national champion, as Miami claimed a share of the title with Washington following a perfect season in 1991.

Other than a three-year stint with the Miami Dolphins, Shannon spent the entirety of his first 15 years of coaching with the Hurricanes, putting him in perfect position to take over when Larry Coker was fired after the 2006 season.

Shannon's hiring was greeted with enthusiasm from former Miami players, but the results never showed up on the field.

In four years, Shannon's teams only finished above seven wins once, when the Hurricanes went 9-4 in 2009.

He'll now be the first man to coach both the Hurricanes and the Gators.

He Had a Brief NFL Career With Dallas.

Randy Shannon played for Jimmy Johnson at both Miami and with the Dallas Cowboys.

Even when he went to the NFL, Randy Shannon didn't shake his ties to Miami.

When he was drafted in the 11th round of the 1989 NFL draft, it was by the Dallas Cowboys and Jimmy Johnson, the man who recruited him to play for the Hurricanes out of high school.

Truthfully, Johnson knew that Shannon wasn't much more than a fringe NFL player in terms of talent.

However, he drafted his former linebacker with one goal in mind: teaching his more talented linebackers how to correctly play the position.

Shannon did exactly that during his brief career with the Cowboys and even became the first rookie outside linebacker to start for the Cowboys since 1963 when he started in the Cowboys' third game of the 1989 season.

He ended up with four starts and 17 appearances during his two-year career with the Cowboys, helping lay the groundwork for the Cowboys' dynasty that began in 1992.

He Was Initially Hired as Associate Head Coach.

When Shannon came to Gainesville after three years at Arkansas, McElwain said that Shannon was at the top of his list for potential assistants because of his combination of success, experience and integrity.

Shannon initially served as the team's linebackers' coach with input on the defensive game plan, but when the Gators blitzed Iowa in the Outback Bowl in January 2017, Shannon was rewarded with the title of defensive coordinator, despite McElwain saying upon his hire that he didn't believe much in titles.

The three points that the Gators held the Hawkeyes to was a team record for the fewest points allowed in a bowl game.

Even after its disastrous defeat to Georgia, Florida is only giving up 26 points a game through seven games, suggesting that the Gators' problems are not the fault of Shannon and the defense.

His Son is a Linebacker at Central Florida.

When Randy Shannon Jr.

came out of Coral Reef High School, he made one thing clear: he didn't want any kind of preferential treatment because of his last name.

To that end, the younger Shannon initially cast his attention toward the Northeast when it came to choosing a college, hoping to play football at either Harvard or Yale.

However, neither school showed enough interest in Randy Shannon Jr., so he instead opted to walk on at Central Florida, where he is now a redshirt freshman.

The younger Shannon might now play for a different Florida school, but that hasn't strained the relationship between father and son.

In high school, Randy Jr.

asked to wear No.

22 as a way to honor his father, who wore No.

22 during his own playing days at Miami.

Randy Jr.

is actually the second Shannon to follow the path of playing in college and not playing for his father.

His older brother Xavier actually wanted to play for his father at Miami, but his father refused to recruit him because he didn't want his son to be seen as a benefit of favoritism.

Xavier Shannon ended up at Florida International for most of his career, but in the end, the son got his way over the father.

Upon graduating early from FIU, Xavier had a year of eligibility left.

With Xavier having proven himself at FIU and eligible to transfer and play immediately, Randy Shannon welcomed his oldest son with open arms.

He's a Team-First, By The Rules Kind of Coach.

Randy Shannon focused on his players' off-field behavior as much as their on-field performance at Miami.

When Shannon became the coach of the Hurricanes, one of his first actions as the man in charge was to remove last names from Miami's jerseys.

Given Miami's reputation for being relatively lax with player standards under Butch Davis and Larry Coker, the change was a stark departure for what the school's football team had previously represented.

Off the field, Shannon was able to produce results almost instantly.

Rather than being a group of individual big names that sometimes had issues with its behavior, Shannon got the Hurricanes moving in the right direction in the classroom, requiring a 2.5 GPA from his players if they wanted to see the field.

One reason why Shannon took academics so seriously might have been his own past, both with his family and at Miami.

Not only was Shannon the first member of his family to successfully become a college graduate, but his academic focus was on education and social sciences, helping shape him into a coach who would demand results off the field as well as on it.

Inside his family, Shannon had even more reason to keep his players on the right path.

At the age of 3, his father was murdered, and he would later lose two brothers and a sister to AIDS and drug issues.
