In no particular order, here are a few of the funniest pranks you can pull on your friends!
12 - Fake Fake News Well, there's fake news, and then here's
totally fake news!
You can easily prank your friends by editing real web pages!
Our favorite software to use is the Page Prank Website Modifier, which is a google chrome
extension.
With this web browser extension, you can change any website pretty much in any way you want,
from twitter to CNN.
The possibilities are essentially endless.
All you need to do is download the extension, and then click on the link in the upper right
corner of google chrome and modify away!
If you don't use google chrome, there should be options for whatever web browser you use.
Some ideas include making up a new law on a credible news site or making up a ridiculous
tweet by a celebrity.
The options are just limited by your imagination.

11 - Don't Lift the cup This is one of the scariest pranks you can
pull, depending on the person, and it'll literally take you only a minute to set up.
All you need to do is turn a plastic cup inside down and put a sticky note on it that says:
DO NOT MOVE UNLESS YOU PLAN ON KILLING IT!
Or you can write: HUGE spider under cup.
DO NOT MOVE THE CUP!
There's also the idea of making a hole in a plastic cup so it looks like something chewed
a hole through the cup, but we think that that's a bit unrealistic.
OR, you can buy a fake spider that looks real and "trap" it under a clear glass.
Or you can also put the fake spider underneath the plastic cup in case anyone decides to
call your bluff!
Or if you're just plain mean, put an actual real spider under there!
10 - Never-ending shampoo Ever use a soap or shampoo that makes it feel
as if it never rinses off?!
Well…..this prank pretty much replicates that feeling!
The never-ending shampoo prank is a hilarious trick you can pull on anyone as long as you
have access to an outdoor shower, or maybe a shower you can access from a window outside.
The basic idea here is that while your victim is in the shower rinsing their hair, you add
more shampoo to their hair!
The best thing about this trick is that it's easy not to be seen, as most people close
their eyes whenever they're rinsing their hair.
All you have to do is be careful enough not to squirt the shampoo on top of their hands
as the temperature of the shampoo will give the trick away!
If you decide to do this to strangers in a public setting, be sure to have on your running
shoes!
9 - Mentos, the spill-maker Everyone knows that mentos in coke creates
a giant explosion, and the simplicity of this trick is what makes it great.
This prank is easy to pull off; you'll just have to prepare the bottle.
You'll need some dental floss and a mentos.
You can either tie the mentos with dental floss, or you can use a needle and poke a
hole through the Mentos and thread the floss through.
Then, you place the mentos on the inside of the cap and screw the cap back on while leaving
the floss exposed.
Then cut off the excess floss from the outside and voila, you have an explosion waiting to
happen!
Just so you know, diet coke has more eruption power than regular coke, if you're feeling
extra evil.
Regular coke will work just fine, but then again, why limit yourself?
The nicer version is to use soda water that has plenty of carbonation, such as Perrier.
It'll be just as funny to see the person's reaction, but without the stains!
8 - Cotton ball Fun This cotton ball prank works only in winter
when temperatures drop below below zero as you'll need water to freeze.
The only supplies you'll need is plenty of cotton balls and a bucket of water.
You dab the cotton balls in water and then place them all over your victim's car.
The water will freeze and the ice will make the cotton balls stick on the surface of the
car until the temperatures go back to normal.
The "nicer" version of this would be to not stick cotton balls all over the car but
just on random places such as on the hood and on the trunk.
Of if you're especially feeling evil, do it on the windshield!
7 - No hope for soap Certain things in life are expected, such
as when you step in the shower, you expect your soap to create a lather.
However, when you cover a bar of soap with clear nail polish, all that goes out the window.
Your victim may actually be confused for a good 5 minutes trying to figure out what's
wrong with the soap!
This is one of the best pranks to do at home for the sheer confusion it can cause.
You'll just have to get yourself some clear nail polish and add a few layers on the soap
before you leave it in the shower.
If you're feeling nice, make sure there's a spare bar of soap, so no one has to put
up with your victim's smell!
6 - No calories in Styrofoam Wanna prank someone for their birthday?
Try making them a "special" cake – Styrofoam cake!
To do this prank, you'll just need one round piece of Styrofoam, approximately the size
of a cake, a pair of scissors, and actual cake decorations.
Think whipped cream, sprinkles, candles, and everything else that's on a real cake.
The are two ways to do this.
The first method to do the prank is to make a whole fake cake.
Just cover the Styrofoam in whipped cream and add the rest of the cake decorations.
Another way to do this prank would be to have booby trapped individual "cake" pieces
made out of the Styrofoam, that way you can prank a specific person.
You'd just need a triangle piece of styrofoam and again, make it as real as possible.
The minute they're about to take a bite – BAM, Styrofoam!
Whichever method you pick, you'll just have to make sure you have a real cake that's
waiting to come out at the end!
5 - Foreboding shadows This lampshade prank is self explanatory enough.
Luckily, you don't need an actual roach or spider for the bug prank.
You can make a few yourself by cutting a black sheet of paper in the shape of a roach or
spider.
You'll just need a lamp with a lampshade that's light enough where you can see shadows
of whatever is on the underside of the lampshade.
All you have to do is tape whatever you cut out on the inside of a lampshade and wait
for your victim to come into the room and turn on the light!
When someone turns the lamp on, the first thing they'll see will be the shadow of
a big bug!
This works especially well with people who are afraid of bugs obviously.
Bonus points if you tape up bugs that actually move and vibrate!
4 - Extra UV Protection Ever want to make your friends look like a
baseball player in street clothes?
No?
Well, here's your chance!
All you have to do is apply eyeliner, or actual eye black if you play baseball, on the bottom
edge of someone's sunglasses.
Another option is to put black shoe polish but this seems to be more extreme.
Ideally, you're looking for oversized sunglasses that would touch on the cheek when someone
wears them.
Once they put on their sunglasses, it'll leave two nice little black sunglasses imprints
after they take off their sunglasses.
Just have some wet wipes ready!
3 - Dude where's my car Yep, you guys know what this is.
This is one sure way to freak someone out completely, depending on how well you sell
it!
The stolen car prank works best on your significant other or roommate, because you have access
to their car keys and you know their schedule.
All you have to do is wake up in the middle of the night and move the car to a new spot
while they're sleeping.
In the morning, once they wake up and go outside to see their car missing, you'll just need
to act just as surprised as they are!
What would really help pull this prank off is if you guys have a surveillance system
outside!
You can stage the car getting broken into and driven off!
2 - It's a trap Who doesn't like getting surprised with
a good ol' rubber snake?
Okay, we'll admit it, we don't!
If you want to pull off this prank, you'll definitely need a rubber snake that looks
like an actual snake.
The good news is that there are hundreds of realistic looking fake snakes that are sold
online.
When you're shopping, you'll want to look for a snake made out of some super flexible
materials because that's what tricks people into thinking it's real.
Also, you'll want to buy a common snake, such as the grass snake.
Also, you don't want a snake that's too big, because come on, who'd fall for the
prank if you used a fake boa constrictor?!
Basically what you have to do is hide the rubber snake anywhere you want – under the
blanket, in the closet, in the bathroom or maybe even in the kitchen somewhere.
You can also pull a string through the fake snake and then attach the string to someone's
backpack or shoe.
Although if you do decide to attach the snake to something, be sure to use a black or clear
string!
1 - Bathroom pranks Do toilet seat pranks ever get old?!
Wrapping a toilet seat with Saran wrap is one of the funniest although messiest pranks
you can play on someone!
It's simple and cheap and you won't need anything besides Saran wrap.
All you would need to do is just wrap the Saran wrap over the bowl as discreetly as
you can.
The key here is to smooth out any wrinkles on top so they won't be able to tell that
there's Saran wrap underneath.
Extra points if you do this to your significant other after they go to bed!
If you don't want to go for something as mean as saran wrapping a toilet, the Vaseline
seat prank is another alternative.
Just apply a thin layer of Vaseline all over the toilet seat.
Make sure it blends into the seat's natural texture so your victim won't get suspicious.
And voila!
You've now helped anyone that's sat there moisturize their butt!
If you're trying to scare someone, what you can do is also print out a scary face
and carefully tape it on the toilet bowl, and put the lid back down.
Bonus points if you go the extra mile and get a glow in the dark scary face and do
this at night!
