Will you vote to lower property taxes? - Duration: 1:49.
Amy: Um, I uh, I really, again, how we are spending
our money and how we are doing it in a transparent way I just am not seeing it from this district.
I feel an undercurrent
that our parents are not smart enough to see what's going on.
There is a lot of distraction, a lot of finger pointing at Robin Hood and TAD.
When we, when the board, administrators can absolutely effect how much we are paying.
I am tired of writing property tax checks that are huge.
And I know everyone in our district is too.
I am hearing it from a lot of different people.
Becky:
I couldn't agree more that the tax bill is huge, I got the most astronomical appraisal
I have ever seen in my life.
SO big that NBC 5 Called me about it.
What I do want to let you know is that out of the remaining bond money that is still
left to be sold, that is primarily for the safety of our campuses.
You came into this building, you saw how open the facility is here.
One cent on the tax rate will give you, on a $400,000 home, which is not even an average
value in GCISD, will return, $37.50 to you on an annual basis.
I think our kids are worth more than $37.50 and I think our teachers are worth more than
$37.50 on one cent on the tax rate.
Not even the City of Colleyville nor the City of Grapevine lowered their tax rate anywhere
near close to one penny.
One penny on our tax rate will damage our district, will hurt our teachers and will
hurt our kids.

Free Swans (Original Song) - Mackenzie Morgan - Duration: 4:49.
little birdy in a tall tree listen how she loves to sing
to be like her but all i make is a whisper
see the men standing in the trees?
every night i see them in my dreams sweet little girl
but sweet ain't all that's in the world
free swans just can't help but sing their song
free swans they can't help but sing along
I'm going on my own together we can brave the weather
colder than frost run away from the place i call home
i can't escape what i know i think i'm lost
i wanna be a free swan
see the perfect poise and smile porcelain cracks but glue works for a while
i can't see the forest for the trees
free only in my dreams but the only thing i see
in my way is me so i just have to sing

Natural Treatments for Excessive Sweating - Duration: 12:29.
Natural Treatments for Excessive Sweating
Did you know that excessive sweating in the underarm region, your hands, or the feet it's known as "hyperhidrosis?" Have you ever experienced this, especially during the summertime?.
If so, pay attention to today's article where we'll share some of the best natural treatments for excessive sweating.
Follow them to the letter and say goodbye to that embarrassing perspiration problem!.
What is sweat?.
First of all, it's important to understand why we sweat: it regulates the body temperature.
When your skin is warmer than normal, your body begins to perspire in order to cool it.
That's why you sweat when you're very warm, when you enter a room with a high temperature, when you have a fever, when you're outside in the sun, when the ambient temperature exceeds 85°F, or when you're exercising and playing sports.
Sweat is secreted from your glands and is made up of a blend of water, mineral salts, amino acids, and urea.
While you also excrete sweat from your pores, it's most concentrated in your sweat glands and that's where most of your sweat comes from.
This is why your face, the underarms, palms of the hands, and soles of the feet are the places where most people perspire.
Sweat helps you filter impurities out of your bloodstream (like alcohol, oils, or tobacco residue).
That's the simple encyclopedia explanation.
Now let's talk about what might be happening to you all too often.
Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, occurs when there's an alteration in your sympathetic nervous system that results in your body requiring more perspiration to regulate your temperature.
A lot of people who experience this problem find that it's due to the weather (either because it's summertime or very humid).
Additionally, it can be due to your emotional state.
That means that when someone is very nervous, anxious, stressed, or depressed they may sweat more heavily.
If the problem were just one of simple moisture in the underarm region it would be a mere inconvenience, but it gets worse when it's accompanied by odor, irritation, skin fungus, and more.
What are the best natural treatments for excessive sweating?.
Treatment #1 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients. 1 liter of water.
4 bags of green tea (or the equivalent amount of loose tea in grams).
How do you make it?.
Bring all ingredients to a boil for 15 minutes and then allow to cool.
Rinse your hands, feet, and underarms with the liquid.
The acidity acts as a natural astringent.
Treatment #2 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients. 1 liter of water.
2 tablespoons of dried sage.
How do you make it?.
Bring the water and sage to a boil and simmer for three minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool, then strain the liquid and add it to a bathtub filled with warm water.
You can also pour it into a bowl for soaking the hands or feet, or apply it with a sponge to your underarm region.
Afterward, rinse with cold water.
You can also drink sage tea as an alternative (one teaspoon of sage per cup of boiling water).
Treatment #3 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients.
10 ml of apple cider vinegar.
20 ml of water. How do you make it?.
Mix these two ingredients together and drink them every morning before breakfast.
Wait for half an hour before enjoying some whole grain toast and fruit.
Treatment #4 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients. 1 cup of water (250 ml).
1 tablespoon of relaxing herbal tea (orange blossom, mint, linden, passionflower, chamomile, or valerian).
How do you make it?.
Prepare your tea as usual and drink it while it's still hot, but not hot enough to burn you.
Thanks to its relaxing and soothing properties it will help avoid excessive perspiration due to nervousness.
Treatment #5 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients.
2 tablespoons of walnut leaves.
1/2 liter of water. How do you make it?.
Walnut (more specifically, the leaves of the tree) has antiseptic and astringent properties that naturally regulate how much you sweat.
Boil the leaves for five minutes, remove from heat, and allow it to steep.
Strain the liquid and soak a cotton swab or cloth in it before applying it to the underarms, feet, etc.
Treatment #6 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients.
1 tablespoon of horsetail grass.
1 cup of water.
A few drops of apple cider vinegar.
How do you make it?.
Prepare a tea by boiling the horsetail grass for five minutes.
All it to steep until it cools slightly and then strain the liquid.
Add the apple cider vinegar, then soak a cotton ball in the mixture and apply it to your underarms, hands, and feet, like you would a deodorant.
Treatment #7 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients.
2 tablespoons of horsetail grass.
The peel from two oranges.
1 cup of boiling water.
How do you make it?.
Add the horsetail and orange peel to the boiling water and hold your hands over the steam.
You can also do this with your underarms.
Treatment #8 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients. The peel from two oranges.
The peel from two lemons.
1 liter of water. 1 lb of coarse salt.
3 tablespoons of baking soda.
How do you make it?.
Place the peels and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Allow the mixture to simmer for three minutes before removing from heat.
Let stand for five minutes and strain the liquid.
Fill your bathtub with warm water and add this liquid, along with the salt and baking soda.
Soak in the bath for 15 minutes (or until the water cools).
This will eliminate toxins while fighting that excess sweating.
Treatment #9 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients. 1 cup of water.
2 tablespoons of rosemary.
1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar.
How do you make it?.
This is a very effective treatment for excessive sweating.
Rosemary water is prepared by boiling the herb for 15 minutes.
Let it stand until it cools, strain, and add the vinegar.
Soak cotton or a cloth in this liquid and apply it to the underarm area or your feet.
Treatment #10 for hyperhidrosis.
Ingredients.
2 handfuls of eucalyptus leaves.
1 liter of water. How do you make it?.
Heat the leaves over medium heat for two minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand for five minutes.
Strain the liquid and rinse your hands with this instead of tap water.

Things to do when moving out for the first time: What home buyers need to know - Duration: 4:16.
- Are you planning to move, not sure where to begin?
In this video, we look at what
are the key things before moving out.
That's coming right up.
- [Announcer] Welcome to Homebuyer's School,
brought to you by Brookfield residential.
- Hi everyone, I'm Karl Yeh,
and welcome to another Homebuyer's School video,

tactics, and tips from home buying experts.

and hear from the experts,

so you don't miss anything.
So today, I'm joined by Nate Edwards,
cofounder of Virtuo, a company that makes moving
and transitioning to a new home simple and stress-free.
So Nate, the question we're gonna answer today is,
what do I need to know before moving out?
- One of the very first things you should know is,
moving is a painful process.
There's a ton of work associated with it,
there's a lot of emotion, and it's stressful.
But at the end of the day,
this transition is gonna be one
of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever go through.
- So I remember when I was first moving out.
(chuckles) Downloaded a list from Canada Post.
- Yeah.
- And they gave me every single thing I needed to do,
everything from what I needed to do to notify the banks,
notify my credit cards, things that I didn't even know that.
So, in your opinion, how do I get started?
- Good question.
There's a million resources out
there available on the Internet.
Those checklists are definitely a huge,
tremendous amount of support and resources.
Why moving's so stressful
is because it's all the million moving parts.
It's not the actual move day itself,
it's all those little things that just accumulate
and create all that stress,
so follow a checklist,
follow some simple rules,
and just start today, like start working on it.
Don't procrastinate.
- How long do you think I need to prepare before moving out?
- Good question.
Rule of thumb, if you've got 30 days,
30 days is an ideal time for you
to start building out your plan,
getting all of your things in order,
and really start, it's the packing that's gonna take a lot
of that time, so if you can put together a plan
where you can isolate specific rooms,
and just start picking away at it,
I feel like that would be your best strategy.
- So before we repack,
is there anything that,
any specific things that I need to do to get started?
Besides getting a checklist, obviously.
- Yeah, absolutely.
Organization.
There is really a few things you can do with the stuff
that you have to move.
First and foremost, you're gonna have a junk pile,
so start building that list of all the things
that you're gonna be throwing away.
You're also gonna have the donation piles,
so this is things that you're gonna be giving
to your friends or your family
or even a donation or charity center.
And then, everything else is,
that's typically the stuff that's gonna have to be moved.
So once you have those three separate piles,
that's gonna make your life a little bit easier.
- Great.
How about the people?
Who do I have to let know, like even family members?
How do I, who do I notify?
- Who do you notify?
Well, it's, it is a lot of work trying to get your friends
and family to help you move.
Best rule of thumb.
Bribe them.
Beer, pizza, those little things go a long, long way.
- [Karl] Yeah.
- And also offer to lend them your hand when they
are moving, so it is a community,
you have to do it together, but bribe them.
Beer and pizza always works.
The biggest things is talk to your utility provider,
talk to your media provider,
the last thing you want
to do on possession day
is not having power in your new home,
or not having Internet,
so those two things is,
that's something that people typically tend to forget
and wait till the last minute, but do that first.
The move day can happen,
but as long as you have Internet
and power at your new house,
that's the most important thing.
- Great.
Well, thank you very much everyone for joining us,
and you'll catch us next time.
- Thanks.
