like yourself start when it comes to turning your
website into a client converting machine stay

lessons of the Lashpreneur. My name is Tara Walsh
I am a licensed esthetician master lash artist and
a business coach consultant, and marketing
strategist for lash artists just like you.
I coach lash artist from all of the world on How to
start, build, and grow a thriving lash business on
their own terms and this is the show where you
will learn the lessons of the Lashpreneur. If

so today we're talking about websites, they can
sound overwhelming Super, complicated and quite
frankly a huge pain in the butt for lash artist,
whether you're running new to running a
business or you've been in business for a while.
You likely often times don't have the energy the
know-how and motivation to work on your website
but it is a huge component of your marketing
funnel to convert clients off of social media on
to your website and into your business and your
website, will be huge and making sure that you
are not being based on your price. As why someone
should choose You as a lash artist. So what if I
told you that creating a website could be Super,
simple, even for those of you who are self
proclaimed non techies right. It doesn't have to
be where you only can hire a Web designer or Web
developer in order to have a really awesome
website. It could be as easy as you setting it up and
maintaining it and I'll tell you the solution. I
have to make your website creation Super Super,
easy, but you gotta stay tune for the end for
that. So, let's talk about the top three
priorities that you need to have for your lash
business website in order for it to start working
for you and not be something that you keep
putting off and it just collects dust and becomes
outdated and old. Alright so the first priority is
creating a website that, just as much attracts
the right type of client as it does repelling the
wrong
Client that is, the final gateway for someone to
say yes, this is a business for me or no. This is
not the business for me is your website so your
website should do just the equal amount of work
of attracting versus repelling and how do we do
that. We know the type of clients we want to
bring into our business so our website that is
all kylie jenner type photos and young chicks at
the club and a lot of heavy makeup is not gonna
draw in your 50 year old grandmother type clients
who want more of a natural look and are just
looking to you know, make themselves look and
feel youthful it's gonna repel that type of
client so if you want the 50 year old or 40 year
old type clients don't put the eighteen year old
photos on your website. That's an instant turn
off for that type of clientele. So, if we're
building our website to look like the type of
client that we want to draw in, it will start
attracting that type of clientele rather than
repelling them away. We want to build our
websites in order to attract um the clients and
not what we think would be cool so if you're in
your twenties but your ideal type of client is in
their forties don't build an entire website
Around what you think is cool. What you think is
trendy. What you think is high fashion or hip
think about the type of client that is coming to
your website and would your ideal type of client
be drawn to that website. You have to give her a
reason to care which means that you're using
language that she would be drawn to. So it's
often times asking your current clientele the
ones that you really love when you want more of
what would they be drawn to on the website. What
imagery, what words you know, instead of saying
volume fans. Maybe they use words like "I want more
density." Maybe instead of fluffy, they say "I
actually want more of an eyeliner look" using the
words that your clients will understand and that
your clients, um relate to is the way that you
start to attract those types of clients rather
than making it Super technical. Alright moving on
to the second priority for your lash business
website is the user experience and the number one
tip. I will tell you that you have to do every
single time that you are working on your website
is make sure that is optimized for Mobile okay,
not only for Google search Purposes because Google will
not show you um pretty much, if you are not
optimized for Mobile so most websites, platforms
that you're working on will allow you to view
your website on Mobile to make sure that the
layout is the same. That nothing's cut off for
that you have to kinda scroll back and forth or zoom in and out
and out you always always always have to make
sure that your website is Mobile friendly because
eighty to 90 percent of people are looking on or
surfing the Internet on their phones, especially
for services and Especially if they're coming
from social media which is all on our phones, uh
the way that I do that I do the edits on my
website. I checked the Mobile version on my
website platform and then publish it and then I
actually go on my phone and look at it as what it
looks like in my hand scrolling through the page
to make sure, whatever edits I made look right,
that they're laid out right so make sure that you're
always double checking Mobile and you wanna make
sure that the user experience is so easy that a five
year old can navigate it. If your website is really
complicated It starts to look like a yard sale or
you have to endlessly scroll for hours because
you decided to write an essay about how you were
lost before lashes you're Gonna lose clients and
they're just gonna go straight to your
price point or they're gonna go completely off
the page and go somewhere else. So make sure that
it's easy, clear and simple and the third
priority that we wanna get to on your lash, business
website is a clear call to action you'll often see this called CTA
call to action so this is "book now"
"click here" to "find out more" "learn more" these
are all kind of what I called the dance that
somebody goes on through your website. So if you
don't want them to go straight to your services,
page for your pricing money to find out price,
you actually kinda need to guide them on a
specific dance to explain the value that you
provide as a lash artist that gives them deciding
factors against your competition aside from your
price point, if all you have is book now book now
book now book now and you're asking for the sale
before you've ever provided any value yeah
they're only gonna compare you one price and so
it's gonna be your Website versus your
competitor's website and whoever is cheapest, is
gonna win right, but if you're educating
your client on "this is why I'm different here,
let me explain lashes to you" because we often go
into the mindset of "well clients should already
know what a 3-4D fan is and they
should already know that it's 100 to 600 lashes
per eye" um but often times clients are oblivious
to that and sometimes they have no idea of what
the processes of lashes so just even doing simple
explanations that a five year old could
understand about what you offer or what makes you
different. Will go along way in getting your
clients to Convert off of your website. The last
thing I will mention as far as clear call to
actions is don't get upset if somebody messages
you with the question that is on your website. I
get those messages a lot that people say "My
website doesn't work people aren't looking at it
and they keep messaging me or asking questions
or they call or text or email, questions that
are on my website! They're not looking at my
website!" Well welcome to being a business owner. Yes,
people want to have that experience of you
explaining a question they have. Maybe they
didn't come from your website. Maybe they got a
business card And they wanted to ask the question
maybe they just saw your um picture on the
hashtag search and so they want to ask you a
question without going off of the app it's okay
for you to answer questions about your business,
even though it's already on your website the
simple way to do it is to say "you can find all
these answers at this link" and share the link
with them, "but I'm happy to answer any questions
that you have" because then you are setting the
precedence that if they some reason didn't know
that this was available on the website you're,
directing them to go, find out and do their
research, but you're also saying I'm willing to
help you as part of your customer support If you
get really irritated that people are asking you
questions that are already on your website.
That's on you because you are not doing the right
job of presenting that information in a clear way
where they can easily find it so they're coming
to you specifically trying to get their answer
quickly right. Everybody wants that instant
gratification clients are the same way. If they
want to question. They want to answer now and
they think messaging is the way to do it. If
you're so busy and crazy hectic in your life that
that's irritating, you the type of potential
paying customer wants more information. You need
to have a little reality, check as to why you're
in business because that is somebody who
can be a paying client and you're already getting
kind of irritated that there. how Dare they ask
you a question about your business so to wrap up
and talk about the top three priorities you need
for your lash biz website is creating a website
that both attracts your ideal client type and
repels the wrong types of clients. You need to
have a user experience that is seamless as easy
as a five year old. Can navigate it as well as
Mobile friendly and have a clear call to action
on your website, that leads them on the dance
that you want them to know about that makes you
different and valuable compared to your
