Waching daily Jun 6 2018

Make sure you text about five people or so and let them know that we're getting ready to pray and do some Bible study and

Let's see. I upgraded the app on Facebook. So I'm trying to get it all figured out here. How's the day going?

Hope you're doing fantastic

I'm in beautiful sunny, Florida. So for everybody who's freezing up north. I'm so sorry about that

Because it's gorgeous here. I want to talk to you about

And and start over in the book of Hebrews and then go with us over to Luke

I'm gonna do a quick Bible study and I want you to let you know that men might forget you

They forget your labor of love all the good things

You've done the kind words the hugs the the seeds you've sown and what you've done for others not just with your finances

but with your time

With your energy with your gifting with your talent

but there is an all-seeing eye and his name is God and

He remembers everything the book of Hebrews says this and this is really what sparked me

Oh, and then we're going to Luke the book of Hebrews chapter

6 verse 10 says for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and

Labor of love, which you have showed toward his name and that you've ministered to the Saints and do minister

I'm gonna say it one more time. God is not

Unrighteous to forget your work and your labor of love, which you have showed

Towards his name while people may bypass you and overlook you and forget what you have done

God remembers heaven holds an account for everything you've ever done and one day not only do I believe that we will be

Rewarded for it says God is a renew

Myrrh, ATAR he rewards those who diligently seek Him which means he literally pays for Hire

think about what kind of pay day God has but there will be a day we stand an eternity and and we'll either he'll

Hear well done thou good and faithful servant

Or depart from me you worker of iniquity and as a person who has received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior

You're not just in at the white judgment throne of God

But you'll stand at the Bema seat where you'll be entered reward

It will not be burned up with just wood hand

stubble works that are gonna be forgotten because they were done for self motive and for self gain,

but your work that you did for the Lord God will remember and I was reminded of

Luke and I think some people are feeling this right now, so I just wanted to minister to those people who feel overlooked looked

Forgotten like me and everything. I do doesn't really matter

Does God care do people even notice I think sometimes it's easy to feel?

Forgotten in life like we're not validated where we're overlooked. We're

underappreciated

Especially when it seems like the squeaky wheel is the one that always gets the oil

Well, Luke chapter 15 turn with verse 11. There's the prodigal son

We always talk about the prodigal son and we rejoice for every sinner that returns back to the Lord

We return for everybody that comes back to the Father. But here's what happened

There was a father and he had two sons

Jesus is telling his parable and

He divides up his inheritance and he gives it to both and the elder brother stays home and faithfully serves the father

continues to be about the father's business where the younger son the prodigal son goes out and the Bible actually says

that he lived righteously and he wasted all his substance and

He just spent it on whores and on

Drunkenness and righteous living. I mean just being a total rebel

And there was a famine and when he's empty when he asked nothing the Bible says he comes to himself

Thank God he came to himself. Thank God for the grace of God. We rejoice when people come to them

Someone say like what have I done with my life, you know, I've wasted it. I haven't served God

I haven't served purpose and he said what am I doing here in the pigs pin? Because he's literally eating the slop

I mean

He's literally eating from the the very bottom of life and he goes

It's better even my father's servants have it better than I do and he comes to himself and said I'll return to my father

see if I can go back and beg of him and and

Work for him and be a servant to my father because it's better being a servant to him than then living this I've wasted everything

and you know when he goes back the father hears that he's coming back and he throws a party and the music is playing and

He gets out the fatted calf and he gets out the robe and he gets out the ring

And he celebrates the return of the prodigal son

and then I want to show you something because I think this is really most of our story because we tend to

Forget and overlook those who are faithful

We tend to take for granted the husband who comes home every single night and is good to you the wife it

Faithfully has dinner on the table that takes care of the children that is there

that the pastor that every week shows up, is that that the

Evangelist of fire or the Prophet with the word but he is faithful

the employee that's not causing the you the headaches or threatening you that he's going to the next company or

You know the child that's not giving you all the problems

We tend to take for granted

The one who's not the troublemaker the one who is the faithful one and it says in verse 25

the elder son was in the field and he came and drew nigh to the house and he heard the music and dancing and I'm

Gonna give it in my version I can imagine him going Wow. Finally. I'm being celebrated there through it. What's what's this music?

What's this dancing? They're throwing a party for me. They're remembering my faithfulness and they're celebrating it

It's about time. You know, I felt a notice a talk about volunteer appreciation

talk about

Like Nobel Peace Prize award winner talk about making a difference

yes, finally I'm winning and

It goes on and it's interesting because it says in verse 26 he called when the servant said what what did these things mean?

And he said well your brother's come and your father's killed fatted calf because he's received him and he's safe and sound

and watch at verse 28 says he was

Angry, and he would not go in

Watch he was angry. He would not go in

Therefore his father came to him and he answered and he said to his father

load these many years who I served thee and

neither transgressed I at any time thy Commandments and yet you never gave me a kid that I may make

Merry with my friend or I might have a party with my friends

but as soon as the son of yours this

Rebellion this one that was this heathen comes back

You're going to throw this kind of party and I think a lot of times when we're faithful

When we're consistent when we're steady when we're strong when we honor our Father

meaning our Lord

We think

Why we celebrate when the Attic gets delivered we celebrate when the sinner comes back

We celebrate when the abuser gets delivered. We celebrate those are wonderful things

incredible testimonies

But what about the testimony of the person who never went out and got drunk and wasted all of his life who never?

was high every day who never

Cheated or killed or did everything or wrong? What about celebrating him? And

sometimes there's this inner resentment because I think we feel

Overlooked just take him for granted. I'll always be here one time I was told

Many years ago. Someone said to me they said Paula you're gonna always be there. You're like a porch dog

You're just you know, I can walk all over you and you're going to continue to be there

And I thought deep in my heart man. It hurts so bad when this person said that because it was a part of it

I thought

That's kind of true. I mean, I'm I'm loyal to my own fault maybe sometimes but then I wouldn't know

loyalty is a good quality if it's not being abused if it's not being taken advantage of and I also said

Okay

Don't take for granted my characteristics of

Being consistent being loyal being faithful

Doesn't mean it gives you an ability to take advantage or abuse me and I want you to know

No matter who's around you or who's over you whether it's on your job or in your church or in your family

God's not an abuser and God does not take an advantage and many of us suffer with the syndrome of the elder brother

Where we get angry because we're like, why didn't you throw a party for me and the father said son?

you've had

access

To everything all the time, whatever you wanted and what I love about this

Here's here's where it's where it says that the father

that

the elder brother that as soon as

he

Heard the music and he was angry

the father didn't go well and he refused to go in because many of us refused we kind of hold our self in captivity and

The father didn't go we'll find you're gonna be like that

You have an attitude like that. Get what you deserve

The father went to him and I came to let you know the father will come to you and you have not been forgotten

You might feel overlooked, but God will remember your labor of love. Let me pray with you right now

All right. Let's pray together

I hope you got something out of this little devotion Jerry god bless you from Nigeria

God has great reward for you Cindy. I

Pray, that's so this is so encouraging to me when someone says I feel like you're speaking directly to me. I

Rachel Brosnahan, Kate Spade's Niece: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 9:04.

Rachel Brosnahan, Kate Spade's Niece: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Famous handbag designer Kate Spade has been found dead it her home of an apparent suicide at the age of 55.

News of the famous designer's death started circulating the morning of June 5 after reports that Spade hanged herself with a scarf in the $6.2 million Manhattan apartment she shared with her husband and daughter broke early Tuesday.

Spade is survived by her husband, Andy Spade, and 13-year-old daughter Frances Beatrix Spade, who shares a name with Spade's famous fashion line.

Spade reportedly left a suicide note in which she told her daughter that her death wasn't the teen's fault.

Spade was also connected to a number of well-known relatives, including brother-in-law David Spade and niece Rachel Brosnahan.

Here's what you need to know about Spade's niece, Brosnahan:.

Brosnahan Played in a Plethora of Roles in Television and Movie Before Landing Her Starring Role in "The Marvelous Mrs.

Maisel".

Brosnahan is Spade's niece through her sister, Eve Brosnahan.

On Spade's death, Eve said through tears to The New York Daily News, "It's very difficult.

I can't right now. I just can't.".

Brosnahan rose to fame for her portrayal of characters in the movies "Beautiful Creatures" and Netflix's "House of Cards" before starring in Amazon's critically acclaimed "The Marvelous Mrs.

Maisel.".

The aspiring actress attended Broadway "bootcamp" as a teen and graduated from Highland Park High School before finishing her education at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2012.

Born in 1990 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brosnahan began acting in her teens in both film and television before landing her big role as Genevieve Katherine Duchannes in Beautiful Creatures in 2013.

According to her biography, she played an ill-fated prostitute named Rachel Posner on House of Cards, before starring as Midge Maisel on The Marvelous Mrs.

Maisel, for which she won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy earlier this year.

Brosnahan Claims that Spade was Influenced by Her Grandmother's "Fabulous" Style.

Brosnahan told  told the Los Angeles Times in October 2015 that Spade gets her much of her influence from Brosnahan's grandmother, but the actress inherited some of Spade's style for fashion.

"People around me have said that I've inherited little pieces of Katie's style," she said in an interview with WWD.

"For example, I love a good shoe and a good bag, and I know that she was largely influenced by my grandmother, her mother, June.

Who actually, fun fact, Midge is slightly inspired by.".

"One of aunt Katie's influences was my fabulous grandmother, June, who always had a closet full of amazing shoes and scarves and handbags," Brosnahan said.

The actress also told Women's Wear Daily that she admires fashion "from afar," unlike her aunt Spade, who surrounded herself with it.

Spade was Proud of Her Niece and Celebrated Her Milestones as an Actress.

Spade was a proud aunt who always found time to celebrate her niece's accomplishments as an actress.

When Brosnahan won a Golden Globe for best actress in January for playing her role in The Marvelous Mrs.

Maisel, Spade told Page Six, "I am beside myself! My daughter [Frances] and I jumped up and down when she won.

She deserves this recognition as she's put her heart and soul into the role.

We are insanely proud.".

She Started Showing an Interest in Acting After Performing in Musicals in High School.

Brosnahan is the oldest child of three to a British mother and an American father.

Her father worked at a children's publishing company, according to her biography.

Raised in Highland Park, Illinoise, Brosnahan began showing a serious interest in acting after performing in musicals at Northwood Junior High School, her biography reports.

"She is very self-motivated and always has been," Brosnahan's mother Carol Brosnahan said in a phone interview with the Chicago Tribune.

"She wanted to teach herself from the beginning.

She did it all on her own, and we were really just in the background.".

Brosnahan made her first debut while still in high school, appearing in Michael Bay's horror film "The Unborn" in 2009.

She had various small roles in other television shows such as "Gossip Girl" and "Orange is the New Black" before she started landed a recurring role in "House of Cards.".

Brosnahan was Incredibly Sick When She Auditioned for her Role in The Marvelous Mrs.

Maisel.

When Brosnahan auditioned for the role in Maisel, she told WWD that she was the "sickest I've ever been in my life.

" However, she was determined to get the role and refused to miss the audition.

"Perspective: you know normally when you get the flu after four or five days you start to see the light? Like 10 days later, I still could not get out of bed I was so sick," Brosnahan says.

"I was snotting and sweating and at one point took my shoes off during the audition because my feet were so sweaty.

They kept having to pause so I could like powder my face and blow my nose.

It was a mess.

But Midge is a mess and so I'm sure in some ways it helped a little bit.".

In the film, Brosnahan stars as a Fifties housewife who starts her life over as a standup comic after her husband leaves her for his secretary.

She says that she has never played a character such as her role as Midge, especially regarding the confidence her character has, even in the midst of her life falling apart around her.

"I've never played a character — because honestly, there aren't very many of them — who is so unshakably confident even when her whole life falls apart," Brosnahan says of Midge.

Steve Penny: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 11:53.

Steve Penny: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

The former head of USA Gymnastics, who is accused of covering up sexual assault accusations made against Larry Nassar by not reporting immediately reporting them to law enforcement and by not telling other athletes and Michigan State University about the allegations, refused to answer questions before a Senate subcommittee on Tuesday.

Steve Penny, 54, was called to testify before the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, Insurance, and Data Security, which is looking into how USA Gymnastics handled the sexual abuse accusations against Nassar, its longtime team doctor.

Nassar was convicted of several counts of sexual assault in Michigan, along with federal child pornography charges, and is serving what is essentially a life sentence.

His attorney, Robert Bittman, said in a statement to USA Today that his client, "declined to testify before the subcommittee while the matters that attempt to wrongly shift blame for Nassar's crimes remain open," referencing lawsuits being brought against Penny, USA Gymnastics and the U.S.

Olympic Committee.

Here's what you need to know:.

After Penny Pleaded the 5th, a Former Gymnast Who Was a Victim of Abuse Yelled 'Shame' at Him as He Walked Out of the Senate Hearing.

Steve Penny pleaded the fifth and refused to give a comment or answer questions when he was summoned to appear before a Congressional subcommittee investigating the Nassar case on Tuesday.

"I would like to answer your question but I have been instructed by my attorney to assert my rights under the Fifth Amendment," Penny said during his brief appearance before the Senate subcommitte.

During the hearing, Senator Richard Blumenthal, of Connecticut, said to Penny, "Juries are instructed they should draw no conclusion from someone taking the Fifth but the popular impression is there's something to hide, and in many instances I think that's fair.

Penny is named in several lawsuits being brought against USA Gymnastics by the athletes abused by Nassar.

Through his lawyer, he has denied doing anything wrong.

During the hearing on Tuesday, Blumenthal said, "Each of the individuals who will testify this afternoon failed in a profoundly significant way to protect these young women.

The system failed.

There was an institutional collapse of moral and legal responsibility.".

In May 2017, Penny delayed giving a deposition in one of the sexual abuse lawsuits brought against him because he was planning to attend social functions at the Indy 500.

Penny, who had resigned from USA Gymnastics two months earlier, wanted to network at the event, his lawyer told a Los Angeles County judge, who agreed to the delay.

"Steve Penny is no longer employed," his attorney, Daniel White wrote, in a letter to his opposing counsel, according to People.

"Because of his former position, he has many contacts who will be attending Race Week.

He intends to participate in as many pre-race function as possible in an effort to connect with those who may be of some assistance in his re-employment efforts.

I can assure you he feels the need to do this is critical to the needs of his family.".

Another attorney for Penny, Edith Matthai, told the Orange County Register, "Mr Penny agreed to appear one of the dates suggested by plaintiff's counsel.

Plaintiff's counsel then filed a motion making defamatory statements about Mr Penny in an attempt to have the deposition take place at an earlier date.

That motion was denied by the court.

Yet, the motion served the plaintiff's counsel's goal to obtain negative publicity about Mr Penny and USA Gymnastics.".

He Has Been Accused of Waiting a Month to Contact Law Enforcement After Learning of the Accusations Against Nassar & of Not Notifying Michigan State University.

Penny has been accused of covering up the accusations against Larry Nassar by waiting a month to contact law enforcement.

It is also alleged that he never told Nassar's other employer, Michigan State University, about the accusations, which allowed Nassar to continue practicing medicine and seeing patients at MSU during the year it took for an investigation to be conducted.

Penny has denied any wrongdoing.

USA Gymnastics has said it didn't share the information with other gymnasts, parents or MSU because the FBI advised the organization not to intefere with the investigation, NBC News reports.

An email provided to Congress shows Penny told USA Gymnastics board members not to discuss the Nassar allegations with anyone even before the FBI got involved.

"You are instructed not to have any conversations with anyone concerning this issue until further notice," he wrote in a July 21, 2015, email.

The note was sent to board members notifying them that a lawyer was about to tell Nassar that athletes were "uncomfortable" with his procedures.

Penny didn't contact the FBI until July 27, 2015, five weeks after the first accusations were made to him about Nassar.

During the Senate hearing on Tuesday, Blumenthal told Penny, the "documents will speak for you." Blumenthal also asked a questions, which Penny did not answer, about a document that suggested Penny had concerns about Nassar in 2013 and 2014.

The email referred to a "code of silence," within the gymnastics organization, according to NBC News.

Penny Was Given a $1 Million Severance Package When He Resigned in March 2017.

Penny began working for USA Gymnastics in 1999.

He was initially a senior vice president, focusing on business development.

His role grew to encompass marketing, sponsorships, event operations, TV deals and communications.

In April 2005, Penny became the president and CEO of USA Gymnastics.

He held that position until his resignation amid the Nassar scandal in March 2017.

He has not spoken publicly about the Nassar case since stepping down.

Upon his resignation, Penny received a $1 million severance package, the Wall Street Journal reported in June 2017.

He was not fired for cause, but resigned under pressure from the U.S.

Olympic Committee, whose board had voted to recommend that Penny step down.

Sources told the WSJ, "several board members wanted Penny to remain despite lingering questions about whether the federation acted quickly enough to address allegations that its longtime team doctor, Larry Nassar, sexually abused female gymnasts for years.

Instead, a deal was reached based on approximately two years of Penny's compensation.

These people said terms were confidential.".

Tax records showed Penny earned more than $557,000 in 2014, including a base salary of $395,577, and then received $628,445, in 2015, including a base salary of $460,078.

USA Gymnastics said in a statement its board, "accepted his resignation and the organization is moving forward.

Employment-related information is confidential except for financial matters when reported in public tax filings.".

On Tuesday, John Manly, an attorney for many of Nassar's victims, said in a statement about Penny's silence, "He used intimidation tactics and a non-disclosure agreement to bully and silence Nassar's victims.

He was given a one-million-dollar golden handshake by USAG when he was forced to resign.

Now he lacks the common decency to cooperate with a U.S.

Senate committee that is trying to protect young athletes from sexual predators.".

He Grew Up in Washington & Graduated From the University of Washington in 1987.

Penny grew up in Mercer Island, Washington, and graduated from Mercer Island High School.

He then went on to graduate from the University of Washington in 1987 with a degree in speech and communications.

Watch What Happens When You Put Garlic In Your Ear? - Duration: 4:16.

Watch What Happens When You Put Garlic In Your Ear?

Earaches can be terribly painful, whether you are a child or an adult.

You don't want to live with that pain and you want to get rid of it quickly, but you also want to approach it the natural way.

Avoiding antibiotics and going the natural route can help the body heal itself the correct way.

This may sound a little odd, but putting a few drops of garlic oil (or an entire garlic clove) in your ear is a great natural remedy.

Garlic has amazing healing properties, the primary ones being antibacterial and anti-viral.

The compounds in garlic help to attack the bacteria or virus in the inner ear, while the antiseptic properties of garlic work to inhibit the infection from spreading.

The reason you should avoid antibiotics is because they cannot really help you heal from an earache/ear infection.

An ear infection is typically caused by a virus, which the antibiotics do not go after.

Turn to mother nature and drop a few drops of garlic oil in your ear.

This will help decrease the throbbing sensation that is common in earaches.

Garlic is an anti-inflammatory food, which is why it can help reduce this swelling and pain.

Read Before Doing:.

Make sure that your eardrum is not busted when you try this natural remedy.

Pain will tend to subside if there is severe damage to the eardrum, which means that pain can indicate that the eardrum is still intact.

How To Make Garlic Oil:.

If you are opposed to peeling a garlic clove and sticking it in your ear, it is very easy to make garlic oil.

All you need is 1 clove of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.

Instructions:.

The fastest way to make this is to warm the 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a small pan and add the minced garlic.

Keep the heat on low for roughly 15-20 minutes, so that the oil can absorb all of garlic's beneficial properties.

Remove from the heat, strain the oil into a glass jar, and let it cool.

Place 2 drops in the affected ear.

Repeat once a day as necessary.

If you don't want to heat the oil and garlic, you can mince the garlic and put it in the 2 tablespoons of olive oil for 2-3 hours to infuse.

Then strain the olive oil and use as needed.
