'Hidden Treasures' in kids' baby teeth? A baby tooth is a treasure trove of fast-growing stem cells - Duration: 4:57.

a baby tooth may be worth a lot more than the quarter the Tooth Fairy left

under the pillow. What do you do with lost baby teeth? are they trash or

treasure? scientists have discovered that a baby

tooth is a treasure trove of fast-growing stem cells. Stem cells are

extremely valuable because they can be modified to repair damaged cells

throughout your child's body, such as heart cells brain cells skin cells etc.

Keeping your kids baby teeth could save their lives one day. Molecular Doctor

will tell you a wonderful story. Stay tuned!

Kids have totally twenty baby teeth, most babies get their first tooth at around

six months and usually start to lose their first baby tooth at age six. The

story starts here. Tommy just turned six and he began first grade. Tommy lost his

first baby tooth and he threw it away because he thought that he no longer

needed it anymore. This night Tommy had a dream started on

the baby tooth, a baby tooth appeared in his dream to say that don't dispose a

baby tooth, it might save your life. In the next morning Tommy told the dream

to his mother. "I can't understand it ."Tommy said.

Let us go to see Dr. Oliver mom replied.Dr. Oliver is a dentist scientist, he studied

in stem cells therapy for human disease. "let's talk about the dental stem cells."

Dr. Oliver said. "Stem cells present in the dental pulp." "Do stem cells have the

magi?" Tommy asked curiously "Stem cells have two magic powers, first,

stem cells can copy themselves. Second, stem cells have the potential to become

another type of cells in the body, such as cardiac cells." Dr. Oliver replied. "How

dental stem cells may save a life?" Tommy asked again. " the cryo-preserving kids own

stem cells might someday regrow and provide an advantageous cell therapy for

repair and regeneration of tissues." Dr. Oliver said. "For example the dental stem

cells can become the basis for reconstructing heart tissue. Tommy had

sent his four baby teeth for stem cells isolation and processed for

cryopreservation. Tommy was 14 years old, eventually, the 20

baby teeth were replaced by 32 permanent teeth when he grew up.

When Tommy just turned 15 years old, he became ill, he felt thirsty, hungry, tired

all the time and had a high level of blood sugar.

Tommy's pancreas stopped to produce insulin to regulate blood glucose levels

because of pancreatic beta islet cells damage. He diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

Tommy must inject insulin several times each day to keep his blood glucose

levels stable. Insulin is a hormone made by the pancreas that allows the human

body to use sugar or glucose from food that people eat for energy. Fortunately

scientists have successfully turned dental stem cells into pancreatic beta

islet cells that produce insulin. This picture shows you how the cryo

preserving dental stem cells help to repair Tommy's damaged pancreas. Firstly

scientists take out the vial of stem cells from liquid nitrogen, then grow in

culture dishes, finally stem cells divide under special conditions to become

pancreatic beta islet cells. Those pancreatic beta islet cells can heal the

damaged pancreas. After stem cells therapy Tommy has fully recovered from

his illness and joined into a fundraising activity for the stem cells

research. 20 years later Tommy has become a successful doctor and studied in stem

cells therapy and regenerative medicine Tommy told about the experience with his

six-year-old daughter, Charlotte. "Dad it's a wonderful story!" Charlotte said. Baby

teeth might be reused to extract your own stem cells for curing diseases. Fun

facts, the teeth in the elephant walrus or wild boar call tusks the tusks of

elephants are the longest teeth in the world. A human adult has 32 teeth, dogs

have 42 teeth and cats have 30 teeth.

What If My Advisor Doesn't Support My Industry Transition? #AskCheeky - Duration: 3:15.

- Hello, and welcome to another episode of Ask Cheeky.

I'm Isaiah Hankel with Cheeky Scientist,

and today's question comes from Heather Shepherd.

"I just got hired and told my PI

"but he was not happy. (laughs)

"He seemed concerned with his own work and asked me

"to keep working past my start date.

"And I'm a postdoc and I'm not required to work

"but I feel like I should.

"I feel guilty or he will badmouth me,

"or say something to my employer.

"Is there anything I can do?"

A great question, Heather,

and it's something that's come up a lot, not openly.

I'm really impressed that you talked about this

and brought this to us so that we can address it directly.

Very often when you get a job, whether you're in a postdoc

or maybe it's at the end of your graduate school career,

you tell your PI, your advisor,

they may not be very happy.

And, in one sense, this is understandable

because they've invested a lot into you

and you finally have become, you know,

you've reached the peak, in some sense,

of being able to do experiments in the lab

or being able to teach course work,

whatever it might be for you,

so they don't want to let you go.

Now, of course, their role as a mentor,

and they should want you to go on to bigger

and better things because it looks good for them,

but this isn't always the case, especially for an advisor

or a PI who has a very short-term mindset

and is just thinking about their next grant

or their next paper.

As a result, we have, very often, PI's, advisors

use guilt to make postdoc's

or newly mentored PhD's stay and work,

very often, for free,

or stay, even skip a job opportunity

and work past their hire date, or have to work both jobs.

You have to get this into your head, though, as a PhD,

you have to remember your value,

and you also have to remember that you are not obligated

to work for anyone, right?

You're not obligated, certainly,

to work for free in academia.

Just because you're leaving academia

and transitioning into a career,

you're not turning your back on anything,

you're just advancing your career, the end.

And you have to do what's best for you and your career,

otherwise you'll stunt your own career,

and this could affect you, it could affect your family,

many other people, alright?

So, just like your PI, your advisor, or whoever it might be,

is concerned for their career, you need to be concerned

for your career and put your career first

'cause if you don't put your career first,

why should anybody else?

And nobody else will if you don't put your career first.

So, make it a priority to, once you have a new job,

transition, right, wrap things up.

You know, if you're going into industry,

very often there's no reason for you

to have to wrap up the paper.

Somebody else can do the experiments, they can, you know,

let somebody else get their name on the paper as well.

You know, if it's course work, or whatever it is,

you have to move forward 'cause if you don't move forward,

you're not just staying still, you're gonna move backwards.

So, if there's something you can do, you know,

within reason to help them wrap up over a week or two,

that's normal, just like in industry,

you would give a two week's notice, you know,

at the most maybe it's a few weeks,

but definitely don't push back your start date of your job.

Definitely realize that you need to be firm,

set strong boundaries, and certainly, don't work for free

and don't overextend yourself.

Until next time, remember your value as a PhD

and start thinking and acting

like a successful industry professional.

Woman - You have No Excuse - Duration: 45:29.

Hello and welcome. Peace and blessings, Its Suraya Sara and welcome to the

Mindful Soul Academy masterclass series and today we have Shabana Yusuf, who is from

the Promising Muslimah website www.promisingmuslimah.com. Is that

correct ? .

Yes absolutely right

Beautiful. I am gonna give you a quick background on Shabana before

we get cracking on this topic it's a it's a really good one I actually like

this one. So just a quick background on Shabana. She is an active Muslimah on

a mission to inspire other Muslim women to stay healthy to remain sorry to stay healthy

and to remind them as a woman that we have the right to enjoy the benefits of

a healthy body and mind whilst taking care of our responsibilities we have no

excuses because Islam doesn't give us one. That's really what it really what it really is?

right down to that there is no excuses about keeping yourself healthy so

today's title of the talk it's really striking on your face and I like it it's

really I think I think that it goes right down to the whole no excuses

Today's topic is women you have no excuse so Shabana, let's get started

let's talk about a little bit about the whole aspect of being healthy. Thank you

Suraya for having me and Assalaam aleikum everybody. Obviously as Suraya

has already explained, I am on a mission to inspire women particularly Muslims women. I would say

Muslim women because they are bound by various cultures, various inhibitions

of themselves and cultural practices which are created by themselves which

are nothing to do with our religion and which keeps holding them back from

following a healthy lifestyle. Which is really surprising to me because

according to our religion, our body is actually a trust

given to us by Allah swt. We are supposed to take care of it

and not misuse it. It's beautiful because Allah has

put this restriction on us and He has made us accountable on the day of

judgment our body which we have full control of it right now in this world we

can treat it the way you want to, feed the way we want to, take it everywhere

not giving enough rest and because of all this we are putting our

bodies into afflictions like laziness and tiredness and different types of diseases,

illnesses and pains, obesity. All this we are going to be accountable for our body

is going to testify against us on the day of judgment. So Allah has given

us this obligation to take care of our health and our body and not to

misuse it. So the question is why does Allah want our health. Why does he want us to stay

healthy Allah doesnt get anything from us, from

our health He is Al Ghani. He doesn't need anything He wants to keep us healthy

only so that we can benefit ourselves in this world and the Hereafter. so when we

are taking care of our body in this world we are improving our relationships

within ourselves. Not only within ourselves, but everything around us. Our family, our spouse

our children, home, our work and our Deen. we are able to take care of our daily

responsibilities properly and effectively not only that, we are able to

perform better as true believers, in the sense like, improving our worship, improving

over Salah, and all other forms of worship. and that way we come closer to Allah

when we are healthy, it has a direct relationship on how we perform as worshippers, how our

worship is. And that brings us closer to Allah swt

So Allah wants us to stay healthy because ... He says in the Quran, in a Hadith,

it is said, eat what is lawful and what is healthy and do not follow the foot

steps of the Shaitaan. Now Shaitan has this one thing of tricking us, you know

making us eat unhealthy so that you know that affects our health

and that directly affects our worship and that takes us away from Allah swt

Can I ask you a question

We talked about Shaitan and speaking

about eating the things that aren't healthy I think also to add to that that

there's also the addiction part of it as well where it becomes unhealthy and we

become more mindless as we eat and then that becomes the addiction part of it

and that's where we we completely lose the whole the whole part of the

eating aspect of what we're taught that was supposed to be eating. The more we indulge into it, the more

difficult it keeps getting for us. Basically Allah doesn't want to lose us

to the Shaitaan. This is so beautiful I just read this somewhere. He wants us

to stay healthy so that we can benefit in this world and in the Hereafter and

Jenna is our goal and if that becomes our goal that actually becomes an

ongoing modulation you go back a permanent destination so if you keep

that in mind we are going it is going to become easier for us a saying of the

answer everything which will improve our health all right so seminar you are

talking about about what people are a bit confused about the understanding

around exercise and and Islam and and what we're supposed to be doing and what

we should be doing what are some of the excuses that you have heard that don't

hold any validity and first of all the main reason is that we don't use their

health as much importance as the other things in their life and they fail to

recognize the fact that it's the help which is validated to perform that the

responsibilities the responsibilities I mean if they could understand the

importance of help you need life and I think though everything worth of the one

thing that we don't have enough discussion about the Sunnah in our did

it just like the other signals of our being so it becomes easier for them to

say that they don't have time they are mothers are full-time have a job and

this responsibility and you know that families have joined family well the

wives are living with their husbands parent and it become more difficult for

them because obviously she need to know that it is important but it is not

considered as important by the elders and she is compelled to live her life

the way she is expected to yeah I get that yes yes a bit of cultural a

cultural misunderstanding misunderstanding of ignorance hmm

ignorant is probably a better word for it and and you make a really good point

because I think that a lot of ladies who are in that situation with that you know

they might be working that they they might have people that disagree that you

should spend time on you know helping yourself and and and and fixing yourself

up especially after you have children sometimes you know you get a bit caught

up looking after the kids and then you know you don't you don't check yourself

cause you're caring for others but then when you care so much for others and you

forget about yourself then you're not able to serve people the best way that

you can your basically your cup is empty and you have nothing more to give

because you're burnt out you're tired you you know you're fatigued because you

haven't cared for yourself so it's all like this domino effect and it all comes

down to your health when you don't look after it and you don't put enough

attention on yourself and I'm not saying being selfish and

taking all that time like being healthy doesn't necessarily mean you have to

exercise and be at the gym people do it at home people can go for a walk with

the kids there's so many things doesn't even touch on a bit later on but I'm

sure you've heard every single excuse in this line of work that you do absolutely

happening the place beautiful so you are talking about the why if I stay healthy

and we'll talk about being done or focused and

why we we need to be healthy because when we get to art string for ourselves

our body is going to talk talk to what we've done to ourselves have no control

of our body on the day of judgement absolutely and Allah has shown us how we

are going to be as opposed to lead our our life in a healthy manner that's true

that's enough about us people are so nervous around he showed us how to eat

he showed us how to sleep when to sleep each other as the physical activity she

needs to participate in I mean I was amazed by the fact that after knowing

the sports or the Sunnah of our astronauts or in a set up and we

encouraged for both men and women not just men we are saying it in sports like

archery swimming running and horse riding wrestling is to organize your

thoughts and crises I never knew all these stuff when I started to know more

about meditation on the healthy health side you know I I wanted to know more

what I mean how does help play important role in our religion so that was really

really inspiring for me and amazing in a hadith yes genius to write to his wife

yes that's what I remember reading the Hadees actually how he would have little

Rice's with it and that was a beautiful thing because it also shows his

faithfulness as well yeah and so much important you do is to give this talk

about the importance of sports in their life I mean it's amazing so I want to

see again how they are we going wrong I mean why are why do we as Muslims don't

form a healthier group in the society in fact we are the unhealthiest group in a

society and according to the recent studies in Duquesne it's amazing it's an

agree it's less than one in five new human exercise less than once a week

Wow I mean that's amazing after all what our religion says about

health forget about UK this is the

multicultural society look at our Muslim countries Saudi Arabia Kuwait

obesity is a growing problem in the population mostly population especially

women we need to address these issues is that I have

a survey online both recently involving Muslim women aged between 15 and 64 and

the results were amazing I mean more than 50% of them are overweight they are

finding problems keeping themselves healthy their various issues around them

social issues and on them which I want to be addressed very simply when you say

about the biggest issue obviously you're saying is obesity and you said about

exercise and the reality is still lose weight you need those two you need to

get your food properly like in order and you need to have movement that's the

basis of getting back on track when you think your survey what what were the

results with those two and comparing two because you said that they're all Muslim

women comparing to like the Western country results right no not for like

what they don't have enough time you've got two positive as models or are as

blue triangle concern ago secondly they don't have you know the gym listening

like women only gym around them either they are not present or they are very

expensive they cannot explore them here and yeah and also about the clothing

about their modesty which is certainly a very important role in our religion but

I don't think that as an excuse it's articles there are so many brands coming

off they have to focus movie you have image even if you don't have only Rimmel

gym you can still go to those Jill get properly dressed

you know just create modestly and in your behavior and in your covering your

clothing and I think that you know good to go

I bought the gym that I have now this way because I do have the tape he

doesn't have only dimension but I do call the time firstly when there's less

less crowded I try to boot up time chairman you are I mean you're just

focusing on what you want to do in in there you know they're really there to

socialize really are there to focus on yourself and you know we're hanging on

and you know what and you make a good point about like you know saying about

the gyms and seeing that outfit and me saying about you know

feeling uncomfortable and stuff to be honest like we're in the work we're in

the age like the technology age where we've got the internet we've got YouTube

we've got the ability to actually have these exercises that you can do at home

in front of your television without like just using your body body weight you

know without even having to go to the gym and yeah and like like when I had

little kids that's what my husband and I did like we were in from the TV to

create put down doing all the exercises there's anything to keep you from going

up your kids are there your work at home and fair you need your presence is

medium you can order order I mean just take a six foot by six foot

stated in your in your living room and a TV internet and you're good to go

yeah exactly well that's it and that's the most amazing and you know I mean you

can always there are a lot of online PT's and I know that if people can

contact you as well you know that I know you have like a workout program and you

also have a audiobook again it was about consequential your food cravings yes how

to get a massive big one that's a big one and and that's one of

the promising Mulsim our website and that that's not on sale there I believe

and those are the two things that we're talking about was the food intake and

the exercise those are the heating and maybe one is the food intake yeah oh

yeah if 80 percent is a set food in baking you badly Stacey and 20 I don't

know anything except item the whole day and and then you're not eating properly

I mean he does reversing and given you some working yeah yes it is equal

equally it out and doing anything yeah I don't do you do pregnant I die that's

the problem I love I love to eight to and food is so good for so to my

girlfriend like going unless food so much what should I do business for you

in the piece of thing we always I've always learned that you should have a

cheat day at least so you can enjoy some of the food you cannot go on and on and

on in a night and not and that's what to do so keeping yourself in one of the

most important opportunity you got you know okay once a week you

can you can I mean it should be working the whole week I mean one day may not

make a difference right something I mean what in my book off about controlling

cravings you have got a recipe over there which gives me an option of

preparing your sweet and then the dessert which is healthier options even

if I mean you'll have those both of those cakes and the pastry we mean

converting them it has the options you can tell enjoy your medicine yeah for

sure I totally agree with you because I think that I think people aren't aware

of all these other options and the beautiful thing about works of the

internet now like there are so many videos out there especially on your

Facebook see eat all you need to do is like those pages that give you like

really good healthy food and a lot of much faster faster make and easy to find

like like the ingredients that easy to find so I just don't think that that's

an excuse but I do feel that like in today's society is that because we're so

a lot more digital we're on our phone we become lazy and and that's probably one

of the downfalls of of our generation is that everything becomes comfortable and

and then we just you know yeah we'll do it later

you know you know but when it comes to like instant gratification like people

want instant results and unfortunately when you're doing this you don't get

that and you actually have to work for it and the only way that I can yeah and

and I think that's probably a psychological thing as well and you need

to get your head right in in that sense and know that you know it's well I think

it's more gratifying to actually see the results when you work hard because it's

a lot more like yeah I learned health comes with your your effort and then I

love health a lot of motels you doesn't just if you just sitting on the couch

you know you have to move and then you see the results like when you move you

have to make the step first step and then it is difficult but ending it only

gets easier when you insist and you will see the results yeah I love

that a lot that kids like but the thing that I I hear a lot is that especially

for the women that I help they always bring up the fact that people advise

them to be patient to survive right and I was like yes you can be patient but

you need to do the work first and then you can be patient through the words

yeah objects it is not easy it is very difficult but if you're even if it's a

little bit of effort every day it is only going to make it easier for you for

tomorrow yeah I mean look at today as not and you not doing anything for the

next one month us now there or even you're going to be worse you have to

write even little steps you still be much better than what you are today

yes exactly you'll be way ahead from where you were one month ago and you

touched on just now about how your body will answer for you you know and you

know you won't have any control over that and that brings you back to this

conversation I had about your body and how your body how us our generations

don't doesn't value our body as we should have should value it because when

we're born you know our heart started beating for us our lungs we're breathing

for us our skin grew our eyes saw for us like we never asked for that to happen

but it has served us for decades it has served up without questioning anything

and all we do is a view their body and we don't look after it and there's no

love for the body that has been serving us and every time our body comes up with

something like it's really springing at us to to focus on it to look after it

like you know you're needed why does it hurt are you carrying so much yeah it's

giving you it's telling you it's not like they didn't consider today you've

been beyond tomorrow your bedridden some of that it has taken us some time

you know you've been decreasing it for a long time it doesn't happen in one day

so body was giving you all the assignment

just on affecting it yeah yeah that's exactly right that's exactly right and I

think I was a bit of a mindset shift for me because we we always complain that

you know we're a bit chubby here or a bit chubby there were a bit overweight

and you know not pretty and not this and not that and they're like all body image

issues but we always forget about the body itself like what has been carrying

us and and I always say you need to love at first before you can make any changes

to it you need to just love whatever mess that you're in and just say I hear

you I feel you and like you know we need to be able to love this like a lot

saying be positive about about being overweight because being overweight does

not serve us as as human beings because we get tired it's not how we should be

operating as human beings you know even not supposed to be all fat and lazy and

think we were supposed to be lean and healthy and active yeah everybody has an

opportunity it's just a matter of taking it really not a better yeah exactly

exactly I totally agree without first making that first step and I think for

me that was the hardest is like it's so comfortable just to be comfortable right

but like when I had that shift in my head and I'm just thinking about it you

think about your body working for you so hard for all those years and you never

thanked it and you never appreciated it like the moment you start appreciating

you want to do better for it and it's a bit of a mind shift in that sense and

thanking God for what he's given us and thanking him for allowing us to live

like just to be thankful be in gratitude yeah yeah yeah yeah and one of the

Haditha sees is they're being grateful is that usually often taking care of

your body's avail thanking Allah for this gift exactly that's beautiful I

love that I really really love that one because that's that's what it is

it's don't think we we talked enough about

that one because we were all focused about what's right and what's wrong

all the time and pointing out other people's problems rather than looking

ourselves and how we can help ourselves to be better actually

exactly so exactly where do we actually start in Andrea and I we have something

I've been raised in a Muslim family but a lot of different modes like praying on

time stop saying I never came up I never grew up listening to it don't need so

much don't avoid it you know have you exercise today did you compare one today

I mean I never heard that your body is not yours I never have that going I

never grew up hearing that they are the focus I'm not discussing this within our

families and because of that because of that women are suffering children are

suffering I mean especially I want to the point of the women the argument who

are living a joint summary they are running on the roadway okay and they are

giving everything everything they find their body everything in the household

are not realizing of fact that how important her health is to perform the

responsibilities better in fact if she does they got some time for yourself

she is questioned okay and she feels guilty she feel guilty for not taking

care of our concert to give giving her time to herself so what I want to say

get this if these issues if Dean Hadid if the in generation which are given us

in in our book if these are discussed openly with all the family members even

the elders and the young it be a dissertation it accurately as we other

to not she will not feel guilty you know she may not care for her business

so for important yeah and I think it's so important when you you put that ahead

of like I understand like in a cultural sense especially if you're in a joint

family there's a hierarchy going on in the house and I totally understand that

and it's very hard because the hierarchy dictates what happens down below and and

it can be very difficult for women to really

take that time away and I think my my suggestion to be on the healthy side

right it would be just start in your bedroom because everybody has a room or

has a little space and YouTube is wonderful if you have no money

YouTube is wonderful to find in its definition yes yeah and I think that

would be the most basic to start yourself with and like you said small

small steps and doing it consistently and then go from there and you'll see

because I can guarantee like I was you know we did my husband I did it in

wintertime we could go anywhere my baby I had like a little baby he was like a

few months old I couldn't take him out push I got like wish tracks around me I

can't questions later yeah yeah that's it that is too big for

me to push in a pusher but we were like in the you know larger doing Shaun T

Shaun T's workout and husband or wife jumping up and down on bang I hope

people downstairs don't hear it you know but like we could say we did it

consistently and we we sort of the progress we we did measurements and we

weighed ourselves and we do every two weeks and you would be amazed to see

like in two weeks what you could achieve and I think it's

like a 90 day program but it was yet it was amazing yeah it's like a lot

probably approach I mean you can't do it yourself

and so it's a little soggy apportion up something and say for example your

mother isn't all you know I mean men especially men I'm addressing them do

not do not behave there's not there's no problem acknowledge there is a problem

going on okay and instead of just being up just giving a blind eyes or and then

trying to be in good shoes of both your wife and your mother and your mother I

mean do something about it I mean this is to again 7/7 win together let them

have that bond together you know and I don't blame the mother Islam may be just

like we were not discussed all you thinking about they might not have been

knowing about all these facts and all these Sooners and the importance of

healthy life you know that's why they have got all

the simulations and all this in a way and you know all these other problems

comes in yeah so this man just stood up in the mouth this helps let your wife

help your mother on the treadmill let them enjoy swimming together you know

let them improve that bond between them they would have something better to do

than to just stand with them before for Volterra themselves or whatever you know

just there in the simple you need to hear if you want if you want change I

need to need to make the change doesn't just happen and I think that I'm seeing

a big rise in our generation that when like the women are really making a

change and the men are stepping up to help with that change but not this is

not always the case and yeah it's not always the case like you said and I

think it you know it's really important to to be educated in that sense to be

educated about what you know what we should be doing to care for ourselves

and and because like if you're not looking after yourself who else is going

to do it like nobody's going to exercise your body for you make sure you do it

yourself I'm talking about the famine I'm talking about the educated families

but I think education is not the one education we see is education about our

religion I'm not talking about like doctors and

stuff like that I'm not talking about lawyers I'm talking more about being

educated about our rights and and our rights of our own body as well mmm so we

can show a dance of them and she can go about freely in taking care of her

health even the elders a sick sick participant

is very important for old people when they are aging is more important for

them to the differences when follows an accident and one of the thousands each

come with it or do they have to keep continue moving you know so we are as

there can be members we as self daughter-in-laws and sons we have to

help them out to you know and to pull about and pull together with other

family even kids you know why do we need to celebrate an occasion with unhealthy

food stuff yes yes why do we have to go don't be organized on front of a spot

like so many schools or football or our swim or a hike or trekking with the

whole family enjoy that that celebrate the occasion I mean don't they do more

to work for joints like you know forward Happy Meals

we just subside you need to bring that smile there are many other ways to bring

a smile to your child take the mountain it means a register for vacation when

you have seen the photos with camper vacation you know an adventure vacation

all organized by by by these groups they are everything organized theory

accommodation your and your activities your everything is taken care of just

enroll in that go as a family together enjoy the activities and the family now

now see it important to put the technology down you know put down the

phone put down the iPads and just just enjoy what is and like I mean we just

had four holidays here in Australia well in South Australia collective weeks and

then because it's winter it's the quickest way we live in apartment is a

bit hard for us to get out and when the sun's out like on like let's go to the

park let's go get this energy out and you know it's an amazing thing to let

them just run wild run free because these kids boys have energy in them and

if we like just keep feeding them like food all the time and giving them the

iPads and stuff you know it is not you're not really helping them they need

to be they built to do that like the energy needs to come out exactly so when

we talk about like healthy foods and children and children lightly healthy

foods what is your advice in that sense in getting them involved exactly you

know and it's what I wanted me to try to start began as early as possible that's

better but even if you have not make efforts

you know bring bringing their friends you know being best friends for some

kind of creative activities with fruits and vegetables let them let me enjoy the

different you know the design then copying and and then enjoy them having

it and then understanding and the benefit of these fruits and vegetables

and again is it interesting if you look at it you know it is very creative there

are activities we can do with children you know instead of taking them off just

for in a passport and everything Dignan all for trips or in colleges yeah

anything else yeah I totally agree with you in that and and I think that was one

of the trends that I've seen like we're talking about being present and like I

would say that sometimes I'm not prison because I'm like you know my mind is

running a million miles an hour I think that the more that you're present with

your yourself your children your family your partner

your parents you you will start to see things fall into place because you are

more mindful of what's happening in front of you you're more aware you're

more conscious about the decisions you make and this also includes food you're

more mindful about what you're putting in your mouth you're more mindful about

what you say to people and I'm not saying that you're going to be then all

the time like I'm not saying that please I mean we're human we're allowed to have

emotions or allowed to go crazy once in a while because that's what we do but

you know but when you're able to be more present in your life you're sleeping you

know fall into place and we need to put our bones down we need to put fish off

the TV nothing one of the things that we started to implement with my own family

was to have no TV when it's dinnertime but yeah that for us sometime you're not

supposed to watch TV you know and that becomes it mindless eating watching can

you continue eating isn't there how much and how many things exactly exactly

exactly so you decide and you're watching something else

and it's better you know you sit in front with your family and you have a

discussion about stuff about what's going on but how you feel what never

what have you achieved and that's a different conversation so you're more

present so yeah opportunity to discuss food and everything and to learn

everything and also the important pain greater than your when you're preparing

your children in a particular manner they are the ones

who want me to come back to you when you don't follow it yourself

I for a reminder for you yeah and you don't do something and then they

remember you didn't tell me to do that players are you doing it that for now

that's something that even people were very clever are they certainly are all

right was there anything else that you wanted to share with us because I think

that you know you've given us a really good tips and and I think that I

actually learned a bit about what the Sun nurse says about our bodies and how

we should be treating it as for me I did not know that it was that important

yes in here yes I had an electric eye and died having two more points I mean

about YouTube yeah I was about my religion so much I like it like it like

it was not like I was hoping opening up the Quran and trying to read

the translation and it's also inform the YouTube from all these lovely speakers

that I came to know so much about meditation I came so close to my

religion and also about all different aspects of religion so I think there

should be more videos done by these well-known speakers on health because we

don't find many you know I mean I read in sitting have to type in health as for

Islam is there a YouTube video done by any color or any speaker there would be

very few person but if you talk about my favorite Sheikh mana define and shake

your fist yzi and the Sheikh miskeen ink take home our paramount maybe when a

rich people listen to you know their families actually stick with the

children showing them these videos so I have a dreary request that these

scholars and they speakers would come home mode is more videos on health

issues on understand offer us or affirm you know like in the most even the good

but try to put but they should include these topics I do not avoid all the

schools but definitely Islamic foods definitely some great schools mission is

use visa not ask the part of the curriculum so the children are getting

prepared why from a very young age and I believe that when these teachings and

then these the directions are given from recognizing City

and people it's taken more seriously and cut in the homes and NPCs taken more

seriously by parents and the family as a whole so spreading spreading the word

thoroughly and then just getting it out there and and allowing it just grow from

there yes not just us as individuals as parents but also the more society I mean

we live in a multicultural society in UK well now is the second largest religion

and motion for the vast majority of population how many how many genes do

you find there which are only for women how many games do you have we have only

only for Muslims for only for most prominent in our activities here there

are very few believe me there are very very few so why don't we take it it

means effort like for example in the most you're raising charities right for

different causes make this one of your important cause if you don't have a gym

in your locality raise charity for your gym for only Muslim for one give them in

yeah you know which 30% make these things available for you now it's not to

make change in you know if we are not showing importance how it is fighty

going to give us what we don't want we have to create the demand we have not

done that yeah because it are putting enough it without putting enough

important colors that's important that's why this is long existence maybe that's

why we're not getting help from the larger institutions and organizations

who are taking care of the health of society as a whole

I'm not giving us our space taking care of our requirements of our you know

environment mmm indignant I love that I love and

like I think it's also want to check with your like local organizations and

see if they have some good run oh it's very hard of it here as well to find

that I think there might be two here in South Australia that just served women

so there's not that many I know that local Muslim organization does like

classes for women but I mean it's like once a week so you know you still need

to nothing think that's that's the main thing how much importance are we are we

as Muslims getting to our religion pedido actually makes trail mix this is

in comparison to fighting to change theme for up you know because we are

there market - yeah yeah exactly exactly

awesome so do you have something else that you wanted to share and I think

that's covered

yes I think yeah I think one thing is one more thing is like why we where

you're actually going wrong we are not taking care of our health we are

listening to our doctors more than we are listening to our religion for

example in on it says there is a piece of flesh in our body if we keep that

fine right the whole body is working properly right

and that piece of flesh is the heart with nominative the hadith and the sign

today is the same thing your heart is the most important occupation body if

you keep it working properly the other organ can also work properly and it

tells us to stay away from fatty foods to stay to sleep properly to exercise

regularly to be a tool to remove stress from your life you know and what are the

criminals feed properly eat healthy sleep properly

I mean exercises are an important part of our business vision this Martin spoon

of our power or quadrilogy no for services or services to be grateful for

we can stay happy all these things they keep us healthy

so why don't we listen to this enough and other than wait for a body to

deteriorate and then reach the doctors and the doctor coming is the same thing

to do what we were told some disability exactly exactly everything was already

there and you know like you know you talk about this and make exercise and

stuff like that like back in the day like it wasn't particularly like

exercise to say because they were always very active because I didn't have what

we have today to make us lazy like they would have to walk far place maybe I'm

walking and insulting and physical activities want the IMP there in the

senescence mmm-hmm exactly yeah exactly exactly so like

sometimes we need to just stop and reset because we get so caught up in in stuff

and but I would say that I've had to stop and reset a few

and it's okay so they're like I think people feel like a sense of failure and

you know when when things don't work out their way or maybe they got injured and

they you know they fell off the wagon and I think you know it's really

important to address that as well because like when you fall off the wagon

people kind of get discouraged and I get that I get that because you know it's

like here we go again um I would I would probably say to be

more kind in yourself and like you've fallen off you don't have to wait for

the next Monday or the next first of the month or the first of gender if you just

jump on the next day you know you fell off the wagon time yes I had a knee

injury recently I was off fighting for two months Wow so big it was really hard

but then alhamdulillah I am back contractors you just don't get back on

it one one day it takes time and it happens and just believe that it is

going to happen with your effort so just don't give options to do what they're

you can and you really grow so when you were injured did you do something that

was like that wasn't so intense for oh I am I wait like whatever I could do I was

using plants my ways I was doing my core exercises I was doing well as stretching

I could do although I was not allowed to run at all but up every other thing what

I could do obviously are all showing up in the gym anyway so I was doing

something better than making up with nothing

yeah so there there are other options like you know if you've injured yourself

there's other things that you can do and and that's really important and you talk

about just being consistent that's really a key thing to it and you know if

you've been consistent for a month like I would say you know you would see a

difference and it's also about forming a habit as well which is a whole other

thing in the back to being consistent and forming a habit where it becomes

like you've just rolled out of bed and you brushed your teeth do you want it to

become a habit and when it comes you have if you don't have to make any

efforts to do information you just do it you know just just still message to all

the women out there that you are important not only not only for anybody

else around you or for yourself or our religion but a lot of

you are very important so just one simply in taking care of yourself just

just go for it you know just I mean it's just about educating yourself and others

around you and not feeling guilty of or chattering we get rid of that guilt you

deserve it yeah all right I I really appreciate you

coming on so once again the website is

www.antakungfu.com

and yeah and they're not expensive either they're quite cheap

after the fees and then there is the homeless Glennis are working on it

there's a step work out there for beginners which you can start with that

and there are many other videos and blogs which will give you a lot of

insight about your health and you know the how to change your life so just

simply change make some changes before even you start counting calories in

terms of consumption and in terms of exercising just choose simple changes in

your lifestyle will fix of your weight loss on you or your help returning yeah

and you know what we need when you kick sign you see a difference like easy if

you're not using what I find that scales are very detrimental to my own mental

health I use my jeans as a means to measuring

and I feel much happier that way and if

you shouldn't actually go by the tears you know

yeah absolutely because then you are going to want to on our healthy by side

on our journey to help you healthy self now you might not seem or see much

changes in your way not because you're fast issues with your muscles issues but

you are definitely getting in shape your slows everything better you'll be around

forever yeah you feeling more healthier

and you're sleeping better yes exactly exactly and that's how I can tell that

I'm you know I'm I'm on track and yeah I was telling my husband I want to get rid

of this scale they give me mental health issues hello thank you so much I really

appreciate it has been wonderful and I will I will hope that people will see

and get inspired because I find your posts and face in your phone so they can

follow you in facebook as well watching any exercise and YouTube yeah very small

gain in fighting with the other one there and it doesn't go with my journey

and everything so you just enjoy the video game and just get inspired and

just become inspiration for others exactly exactly and that's that's all we

can do that's the best that we can do for for our purpose on this earth is to

inspire others so that they can live a better life yes yes all right

okay feasibly seeing some Lego everyone thank you

[HEALTHL] New Research Says You Can't Locate Her Vagina. Seriously. - Duration: 1:46.

New Research Says You Can't Locate Her Vagina. Seriously.

New Research Says You Cant Locate Her Vagina. Seriously. This week, scientists in the U.K. dropped a doozy of a report thats sure to rattle any man's confidence in his carnal knowledge of the opposite sex.

It boldly states that males are largely terrible at locating the female genitalia. No, for the record, were not talking about the clitoris.

Were talking about the entire vagina. In a survey of 1,000 men conducted by The Eve Appeal, a U.K.–based nonprofit dedicated to curing gynecological cancer, 500 respondents couldnt accurately pinpoint the vagina on a biological diagram.

Janice Rymer, the vice president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, in London, said that the alarming results of this survey highlight the need for better sex education. Alarming indeed.

Now, the survey doesnt offer any explanation for such widespread male incompetence, but the likeliest reason for the mistake—there has to be a reason, right?—probably isn't that men are pointing at, say, the diagrams foot; it's more likely that the research subjects were pointing at the more general vulva and vagina area, not the vagina specifically.

Now, this isn't entirely forgivable, but its slightly more understandable.

(Here's a quick science lesson that we can't believe we're doing: The vulva comprises the parts you see on the outside, like the labia and the clitoris, while the vagina is what you feel on the inside.) For what its worth: a different survey conducted last year by The Eve Appeal found that women arent that much better at the same task.

Only 35 percent of 1,000 female respondents were able to correctly identify all the parts of the female reproductive anatomy.

Meanwhile, this week's survey also noted that only 20 percent of male respondents found their partners private parts to be attractive, while a mere 10 percent indicated that they could confidently identify said parts in a lineup.

Why can't you tell me the winning lottery numbers? - Duration: 1:05.

(laughing)...I get asked that one a lot...

So, my understanding is that the reason I am not able to attain

winning lottery numbers is that Spirit brings forward the messages that we need

to hear more so than what we want to hear. My understanding is that we're here

in this lifetime in order to learn lessons and there's a process of growth

that happens and so... what we want is always... is not always what we need in

order to progress forward with those lessons. So it's about determining what

it is we really need in life as opposed to what we think we want in life.
