Waching daily Oct 25 2017

Hi everyone welcome back to my kitchen today

I'm gonna share with you a super fast and easy and oh so delicious way to cook cabbage for just about any reason

Cabbage, I think is an often overlooked vegetable

I think people think it's smelly and it doesn't taste that great

But if you know how to cook it the right way even if you're not so much of a cabbage lover

I bet you'll like it this way, so let's go see how we make oven roasted cabbage

Today we're gonna be making some oven roasted cabbage, and this is because I made a

corned beef in the crock pot

So that's going the potatoes the carrots celery and a nice corn beef that I thought out from my freezer stock

And I want to make cabbage to go along with it

But I don't want to steam it and I don't want to throw it in the crock pot

I want to cook the cabbage

So that it has a nice pure full flavor and the best way to do that is to roast it

So I preheated my oven to 375 degrees

I got a small head of cabbage and you can see I've just kind of sliced it in about 1 inch thickness

Depending I mean some of these

It's not rocket science. So don't worry about it. Just cut into pieces. It's you know it's kind of can be kind of

Scary to slice a cabbage like that especially if you're not good with your knife

It's even scary for me, and I've been using a knife for a long time

so just take your time and kind of run it along and

Rotate the cabbage until you can cut through the center, and it should be fine

I wouldn't even worry too much because it's all gonna get you know roasty

And the edges are gonna get a little bit crisp and it's gonna be delicious

So really this is super simple all I'm gonna do is

Grab my olive oil here and

Don't worry too much about it. Just toss it on here okay, and then

Kind of get your hands in here

And then we're gonna just do the flip side

Just kind of make sure that all the surfaces are covered

With a little bit of olive oil then do the same on this side and again. Don't worry too much about them falling apart

That's gonna happen and when you go to serve it you just do it with a set of tongs

And then they're gonna break up and people can take as much or as little as they like and then

What we're gonna do is

We're gonna do salt and pepper. I just have a little kosher salt and some pepper here

We're just gonna hit this

Like so

And you know you want to give cabbage a lot of flavor. I mean it has great flavor on its own, but I feel like

Salt is cabbages friend just like salt is potato's friend

I'm gonna hit this with a little onion powder and garlic powder as well, maybe a teaspoon for the whole thing

I'm just eyeballing things here, and this is really how I cook

when I'm not with you guys, I just

put things together and

eyeball things a lot

So we're gonna go ahead and roast these in a 375-degree oven for about 30 minutes or until the cabbage is soft

And it has a little bit of brownness to it and then when that's done

I'll bring you back

And I'll show you what it looks like this was in the oven for just about a half an hour

And you can see look these are crispity crunchity and they're perfect now if you like it a little browner

Then you can always break up the cabbage before you roast these off and you'll get more Brown edges

Like that and it'll be great, but the way I'm gonna serve it tonight is I'm just gonna take my knife and cut

these slices in half

Then we're just gonna break it up because

Everybody can just grab however much cabbage they want and this I think is so much easier than steaming the cabbage

And in a cumbersome pot of water plus

When you steam it or boil it rather when you boil the cabbage I feel like

All that good flavor and some of the nutrients actually get dumped down the drain in the cooking water, right

Right this is the piece you really want

This piece it's hot but as a taste

Wow is it really good is it like concentrated flavor right oh?

My glove

Maybe carriage chips, oh that hot new fad. That's really delicious mmm

Wow I am a cabbage lover anyway from the time I was a child

and

This is amazing

just amazing

Really are

Put them back in the oven you could put it back in the oven

To crisp up if you so chose, but we're gonna eat this with our corned beef tonight. I have some potatoes and carrots

it's gonna be great a

Lot easier to I feel than the traditional way of cooking the cabbage

Which is in wedges in the cooking pot? No. Thank you

This is just another way so

I hope you give it a try

I hope you liked today's video, and if you did please consider giving me a thumbs up

Southern California Real Estate: Renovations Loans, Explained - Duration: 4:13.

(upbeat music)

- Hi everybody, welcome back.

This is Kevin Smith with First Team Real Estate

here in southern California.

And today I have another episode with our loan depot

representative Barry Krevoy.

- Hi everybody.

- And we had kind of a situation that came up

this last week and my buyers are looking

for that perfect home that's turn key and ready to go.

When I talked to Barry about this, they're well qualified

to get the loan but he was suggesting that maybe

we look into a renovation loan.

So, Barry I wanted to talk to you a little bit about

maybe the renovation loans and the different types.

Can you tell a little bit,

- Sure

- How it all works, but then the different types of loans.

- Yeah, sure. So renovation loan is just like

any other loan except for that we're gonna be adding

renovation projects to the home to your actual mortgage.

There's two different types.

There's a full renovation,

and you can do a conventional FHA loan on that.

We're also the only company that does a VA renovation loan,

which is a streamline loan.

Now there's also FHA and conventional streamlines.

And with the streamline, it's non-structural,

so you can put in new countertops,

new carpet, new appliances.

- So you're not doing major construction.

- No, no major, you don't have to pull permits

and stuff like that.

And then there's the full rental loan where you can

add bedrooms, and you can add a second story to the house,

and you know we have a lot of people

that they're getting priced out because everybody wants

a single family residence with 2,000 square feet

and there might be some properties out there

with 1,300 square feet where you can add a bedroom

or a bathroom or maybe a second story.

It really opens up a lot of options and it makes a house

that you know needed love, to a house of your dreams.

- Sure.

- You can make it exactly like you want it.

- Yeah, just like those HGTV.

- Yeah, just like on flip or flop or one of these HG,

that's how they do it.

These people don't go in there and buy a house

and then they have an extra hundred or two hundred grand

sitting in the bank, they're using a renovation loan

to buy that house.

- Okay.

- So, we do them at loan depot really well, I love them,

and it opens up a lot of options for my realtor partners.

- Okay, so what would be a benefit as far as,

like just a regular buyer whose

looking for this type of loan?

What would be a benefit to them?

Like interest rates? Or?

- Well the interest rates gonna be a little bit higher,

because you're packing more onto the loan,

but ideally is what you do is you use

the renovation loan to get into the home.

You can even on the full renovation loan folks,

you can put six months worth of payments

into the loan so you don't even have to make a payment

on the house for six months.

Because you figure, if you're getting a new story put on,

or new bedrooms, there's gonna be a lot of,

you don't wanna live there.

So they make it to where you don't,

you don't even have to make a payment

for the first six months.

- Okay, and then as an investor,

typically an investor they have to come up with 25 percent.

- Yeah, so with the renovation loan you can use

the renovation loan to do a flip,

and you only have to put 15 percent down,

and we all know on an investment property,

you usually have to put 25 percent down.

So there's a lot of benefits, if you're interested in it,

I suggest you give me a call, or give Kevin a call,

and then Kevin will call me.

But let's see whether or not it works for you.

- Okay, that sounded great. I love it.

So, there's lots of homes out there that need a little TLC,

and some people that wanna customize this.

So the renovation loan is a great option.

As Barry said, if you're interested

in finding out more information from me,

feel free to email, text or call me.

And Barry will be happy to help you.

This is an awesome program.

- Absolutely.

- And I'm really looking forward to helping some people,

including the clients that I already have, so.

Also don't forget if you wanna subscribe

and get more notifications of our newest videos,

make sure you hit the bell here on the YouTube channel,

and we'll look forward to seeing you here

on our next episode.

Have a great week, we'll talk to you all soon.

Practicing Cremaholic | Kiehl's Skincare Tips - Duration: 1:02.

Hi practicing cremaholics!

I'm Melissa and I've been with Kiehl's for four years and today I have 2 great skincare

tips to share with you.

(Practicing cremaholics) (Serums and eye creams)

First, let's talk about serums.

Serums offer your skin and extra power packed punch with antioxidants and vitamins.

A great tip for applying serum is just a pea size amount in between your fingers.

Warm the serum up between your fingers and your hands and with light pressing motions,

make sure you cover the entire face.

Second tip, let's talk about eye cream.

Eye cream is designed special to protect that delicate skin around the eyes.

And a great tip for applying eye cream is just a little product on the ring finger and

applying it in a soft pressing motion around the entire orbital bone.

As the ring finger gives the least amount of pressure and won't harm that delicate skin.

If you'd like more great skincare tips like you heard today, you can come visit me in

YOU ASKED FOR OUR STANCE ON TRUMP, SO HERE IT IS - Duration: 11:14.

YOU ASKED FOR OUR STANCE ON TRUMP, SO HERE IT IS

BY JOE MARTINOOCTOBER

When Trump was elected as president of the United States in November 2016 the world pretty

well shit their pants to say the least. How was it possible that this guy won the election?

But what many in the world never considered is just how fed up people are with the same

old same old. There isnt much trust in government or corrupt politicians these days,

and people were ready to try anything new.

After the election a slurry of stories began to hit the media about who Trump really was,

how Hillary could have lost and of course, fake news was to blame for everything. Oh,

and months later Russia was to blame for everything. Even though there was no evidence of either.

We saw a massive media slandering that was essentially the childish outcry of a Deep

State upset about how things didnt go its way.

As we covered the many stories related to the election, Trump, Hillary, Wikileaks and

so forth here at CE, our readership often asked who we truly support; Hillary or Trump?

Of course, we support neither and have stated this numerous times, yet this was something

that was difficult for many to understand because the belief is you must support one

or the other, and if you dont support one you automatically support the other. This

is understandable of course.

The amount of anger, emotions, and frustration people have had about Trump being president

is incredible. While I believe this shows how much we collectively need to shift our

perspectives on things in general, I also believe that in many ways our emotional outcries

are where things start. We have to observe our emotions and what they telling us about

our beliefs and perspectives in order to see how we can move beyond them. We are massively

limiting our world and reality by holding on so rigidly to what we believe. To be clear,

we cannot change things from a state of anger or aggression, we must first move past this.

This is a lesson humanity is learning big time right now.

Before we go on, politics are an emotional subject for many of us because we believe

so strongly in one side or another, this is perhaps the biggest challenge we face. But

that said, its most serving at this point to set emotions aside as we go through this.

This wont lift up nor bash Trump but will simply state things for what they are. But

emotions will need to be set aside to see that more clearly.

The Truth About Trump

Im going to break this down into a political section and then a more big picture consciousness

section on how Trump makes us reflect on our shadows and societal issues. To note off the

top, this wont be your typical political perspective holding to the illusory world

of politics many in the mainstream subscribe to that is completely a dog and pony show.

Were looking beyond the veil.

First up, lets look at some of what happened during the election, whether you believe these

things to be true or not yet doesnt mean they are false which is an important piece

here.

During this recent election it was the first time mainstream media began talking about

a shadow government and deep state. Essentially, unelected individuals who ACTUALLY run the

country, not the people you vote for.

A massive pedophile ring involving politicians, the music and film industry and more began

being exposed. In fact, many people, including Corey Feldman had warned everyone about this

many years ago, but it was passed off as conspiracy.

WikiLeaks revealed corruption inside the DNC that illustrated how Hillarys campaign

fixed the election to push out Bernie Sanders. Essentially proving democracy isnt a real

thing in the US.

A massive shift in the way we view politics needs to happen. In fact, this is part of

a massive shift in consciousness that is taking place in general. We must begin to realize

that regardless of who is elected, so long as we have a Deep State or shadow government

in place, what changes in the world is typically not based on what a president does or can

do. Now perhaps that is changing slightly given that Trump, and yes Im going to say

this, is not part of the same Deep State that many past presidents have been, including

what Hillary Clinton is part of had she won. How do we know this? Its a long story,

but if you follow alternative news and truth politics enough you will see this. But for

the purposes of this article, Ive been told by a number of whistleblowers with connections

to people on the inside of the US security agencies that Trump is in fact a threat to

the Deep State in a number of ways.

On top of that, long time researcher Richard Dolan has said on a number of occasions that

Trump comes in as an outsider. Likewise, former CIA office Robert David Steele has

stated that Trump is not Deep State.

But this is precisely where it gets tricky, does this mean Trump is a saviour? NO! And

this is where many of us are getting confused. All this means is that hes here to shake

things up. We must stop trying to view things as a one size fits all or as if a saviour

will come in to change everything. Its a process were going through and it will

happen in many stages.

The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus

sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation . . . The little coterie of powerful

international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes.

They practically control both parties . . . [and] control the majority of the newspapers and

magazines in this country. John F. Hylan was Mayor of New York City from 1918-1925

Related CE Article: Who Sits Above Trump? 10 Presidents & Politicians Who Told US That

A Secret Government Controls The World

Just because a president is not part of the Deep State does not mean they fully know and

will act on what many seeking truth and a better world want. It only means they wont

act entirely in favour of what the Deep States plan would have been. This is a huge distinction

as Ive watched many people flip flop confused about how he could do one thing opposing the

Deep State but then do something in favor of it.

Ive waited quite a while to write this because I was wanted the right events to take

place that would really allow us to see what Im referring to more clearly. Although

I think many obvious things have happened in the past that could shed light on the somewhat

complicated dynamic, I knew it would simply be time that would allow us to see what Trumps

presidency is really about and how it is serving humanity from a bigger picture perspective.

JFK Files & What That Means

A few days ago Trump stated via Twitter that he would unlock and bring forth the long classified

JFK files.

If you have played in the realm of declassified files long enough, you know this could mean

that the files may come out completely blacked out, essentially making the release of these

files useless. On the other hand, these files could come out and reveal incredible truths

that could shatter the way the general public views its country. Most importantly, this

subject is brought into the public eye in a way that no other president would have done

and this is crucial in helping us think outside the box. It almost seems as if there could

even be a build up to exploring the truth about 9/11 which obviously would send the

US into a massive unrest of questions about who truly runs their country, why they run

it the way they do, which ultimately is what the entire gnosis of what our current times

are revealing to us.

This is a very important point so I will make it again, politically, with all that is happening

since the beginning of the election up until now, what we are seeing is an unveiling of

WHO TRULY runs the United States. Think of what came out via WikiLeaks, Snowden and so

forth, this is massive stuff and its part of a journey of unveiling the truth about

whats really going on. From a conscious evolutionary perspective, this is why the

election went the way it did, its the bigger reason why Trump is president.

Its Wake Up Time

Its time for humanity to wake up, and many things coming along with Trumps presidency

is helping to do that. This includes having Trump be the very shadow he needs to be in

order to show us the social issues we also need to move beyond.

This leads into the next important section. Interestingly, Trump doesnt try and hide

who he truly is. As awkward and absurd as some of the things he says are, he doesnt

hide it. He states how he feels even when what he says will offend 3/4s of the population!

To reiterate, its not that what he says is always good, but its playing a role.

He is not lying or providing lip service like most other politicians. Hes instead baring

all so humanity sees the light and the dark within him and thus within ourselves. Again

this does not make Trump a saint or a saviour, it simply allows us to look at whats truly

going on and what role he truly plays.

Racism, sexism, inequality etc, all of these things are coming to the surface on a mass

level as part of the way he conducts himself. Not only that but Trump is also slowly breaking

down the Deep State little by little. And while it can be argued that his administration

has been infiltrated at this point by aspects of the deep state, there are still aspects

that are coming out to help shake things up.

Our stance on Trump is that he is here to allow us to see many aspects of our collective

unconscious and at the same time shed more light on the Deep State, who they are, and

why we need to take our power back from them because we have simply given it up through

blind faith and unawareness of their existence. He is not going to suddenly change the entire

world and raise mass consciousness to the point where everything is saved, but he is

also not going to be one that simply pushes forward the Deep States agenda in the way

Hillary Clinton would have.

He is, in essence, the next logical step in a series of events taking place on the planet

to help awaken humanity as opposed to helping to keep humanity asleep.

I highly recommend checking out this article as it also encompasses the gnosis of our position

on Trump: A Completely Different Perspective On Trumps Presidency. This Will Make You

Think

'You'll be surprised' Donald Trump lifts lid on visit to Korea war zone - Duration: 4:04.

'You'll be surprised' Donald Trump lifts lid on visit to Korea war zone

Trump will go through Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines from November 3 to 14.

It will be his first trip to the region as President, and comes as Kim edges closer to getting a missile capable of hitting the US.

A White House official previously said Trump is not likely to visit the Korean demilitarized zone during the trip. But today he appeared to have changed his mind.

I'd rather not say, but you'll be surprised, Trump told reporters on the White House South Lawn as he prepared to depart on a trip to Dallas.

The White House has reportedly sent a team of officials to the Peninsula to check potential sites for Trumps special activity when he is there.

They looked around Panmunjom and Observation Post Ouellette, a source said while speaking on the condition of anonymity.

Truce village Panmunjom and the observation post are both within the heavily-fortified Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and are literally a stones throw away from the regime.

Trump is widely expected to send a message to North Korea – either verbally or kinetically – when he makes the foreign visit.

Trump will likely do something like that and his aides are making the relevant preparations, the source told Yonhap News.

He added: He may instead visit frontline islands such as Yeonpyeong-do or Baengnyeong-do. I am not sure whether the advance team went there, too. The visit would come as Trump stepped up his war of words with Kim Jong-un.

It has prompted numerous security experts to warn the world is literally on the brink of World War 3.

Trump has repeatedly threatened to go to war with the hermit state, most recently hinting there is "only one way" to deal with the crisis.

North Korea has also accused the US of "declaring war" on them while continuing to test nuclear-capable ICBMs. It has launched more than a dozen missile tests this year and detonated their most powerful ever H-bomb.

And tonight there are new fears of a new nuclear test over the Atlantic Ocean. North Korea has form for provocations on major anniversaries, but its founding date on October 10 surprisingly passed without incident.

Trumps speech may be the next big opportunity for Kim to show the US he means business.

The Norths foreign minister Ri Yong Ho said last month: The whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country.

Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasures. These include the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country..

Ed On The Floor: Retroman Sybil Classic - Effects Pedal Demo for Guitar - Germanium/Silicon Fuzz - Duration: 18:05.

alright alright pretty effing excited about this one. This is the Sybil

and it is a fuzz pedal

it is a magical fuzz pedal

um...it reminds me a lot of the hoof reaper by Earthquaker Devices

These Dudes.

it has fairly well influenced my style of playing as i have

Continued to explore it so let's give it a run through.

It's gonna be fun...

alright

So

As usual we're running the ROCKERVERB 50 MKIII

The Attenuator mostly up because you know it gets loud

iPhone 7 plus mic while on the clean channel to start and then we're

gonna throw it into the dirty channel too and see what happens...

um... there's this really cool parallel series switch in the middle here where you can run the

germanium side and the silicon side together or separately which you know is

a little science-y and whatnot but not really a big deal to explain you'll just

hear the difference so like I said clean channel / Telecaster

Just a little bit of reverb on there

And this... is the retro man and I'm gonna start everything at noon and then just go frickin crazy

we're gonna start a parallel cuz series is the cooler one but I want to get it all

so let's go let's explore new worlds

Very very very classic

I'm a fan of germanium so im'a just turn... im'a just dime the germanium cuz

That's just what'cha do.

So we went from more of a old time-y overdrive sound and now like...

Almost like a Clapton-y, or like a really funky you know...

Is that tone all the way up? I believe it.. Nope, almost, so let's like really dime everything. That was all like, pushed up to like maybe 9

Now remember this still running in parallel with silicon so I could turn the silicon down although I can't turn the tone down

all the way because that does some weird thing that I have no idea about where

It like shuts off the pedal and you have to turn it back on and it's a whole big mess

So we're not gonna do that but we're just gonna you know decrease everything on

the silicon side to kind & show you what it does when the germanium is dimed

heavy heavy gate

let's hear that on the dirty channel of the amp

Germanium up silicon down (dirty channel)

Amp Buzz

now lets see the reverse: still on the dirty channel...

Silicon up germanium down (dirty channel)

(Amp Buzz) it's funny it seems like we're kinda going through... the era's here, of different solo guitar tones.

and that buzz like I said is the amp itself but this pedal is great at generating feedback

Yeah this thing is a feedback machine which is incredible in its own kind of way

Alright now we're gonna dime everything, and just, you know... go crazy

Sybil running through the dirty channel of the amp both fuzzes dimed

Tone down on the germanium

Tone up on germanium tone down on silicon

that gated you know function of the silicon after the germanium in parallel

just gives it a weird sort of I don't know

differentiated tone from most fuzzes you hear

kind of like the umm... RaingerFX

uh...

I think that's how you pronounce it...

Guy named David out of England i think

He makes really good FX

let's just try a couple of those things on the clean channel

because we're still gonna run parallel for a second, and then we'll go to the fun stuff in series mode

So... let's switch to the clean channel and by the way all that buzz is my dirty channel

Alright

Clean

let's try that

Um... so germanium everything dimed, silicon everything dimed. Let's just go for it

They almost cancel each other out

Let's turn the volume off the silicon, turn the tone down on the silicon

Now we're in the 90's

Gettin some weird breakup-y artifact-y stuff

Alright

so let's un-crank the germanium @ 12 o'clock, Silicon up

now the tweeking begins

lets just turn the fuzz all the way up on the germanium- turn the tone up to like... 2 o'clock...ish

we're gonna turn the tone up a little on the the silicon and dime the volume and fuzz

We're gonna turn that tone down...

fuzz down here

some weird artifact-y stuff; pretty standard fuzz sounds but in between the parallel of

the silicon and germanium some interesting things happen

especially when you're driving a tube amp or you know a tube amp simulator or a

pedal like a big muff style or you know any sort of thing that is going to be a

distortion pedal it'll just hit it really hard or you

could you know kind of harness it in with the distortion but let's play with

the series because the series is the dope stuff so I'm gonna put everything

back at noon and it's on clean so

let's hit it

right? some old-school style like:

alright now here's where it gets fun when

you start you know doing what you have to do with fuzzes, and that's turn them up real loud...

So germanium first

Alright now let's put the silicon all the way up

this is where it gets really fun

This is why it reminds me of a Earthquaker Devices Hoof Reaper

Remember, this is still on the clean channel

Alright, just fer a second I'm gonna put this on the dirty channel and it's gonna rock the world

I gotta turn down a little bit see this is gonna be crazy

Dirty channel everything dimed

okay so it has this thing where it like dies out on you after a certain...

After a certain like drop in the level of the frequency so

This does cool shit like that but, the real charm is in the like forced harmonic thing...

I'll just have some fun, just, i'ma just turn some knobs, it's pretty already self-explanatory what they do. Let's Go For It!

It's much more fun when you use them together

okay so it's pretty clear that the germanium hit does the die out and the

Artifact-y thing and it's pretty clear that the silicon does the Gate-y sort of out of

phase thing so let's just play with the silicon over the germanium cranked and

then, I mean that's... I can't even... I don't know what else to tell ya. Let's Try It.

and remember we're still on the dirty channel

we already kind of went through the clean channel it's not you know...

we can do a little bit actually, i'll do a little bit more...

BUT DIRTY FIRST!

Alright, one more time: clean channel

so some pretty cool gated fuzzy stuff

the fuzz tone...

The way the fuzz tones interact... (in series mode) is like, really cool

Woah man, you can really put that subtle like octave thing behind it.

So there's the clean channel...

(Miscellaneous tweaking)

Clean channel- living the dime life

That's been the Sybil

I've been Ed

This uh...

Is my floor

Hope you enjoyed \m/
