hey everyone!!

I'm gonna show you how to make any song "3D" using a free program called "Audacity"

start off by downloading 'Audacity' from Google

follow the video or the link is at the top of the description:D

download for whatever computer you own, and follow the prompts to install it

open the program once you've downloaded

i'll try my best to explain exactly how to do this in the subtitles however everything is shown in the video :D

go to file in the top left corner and press 'Open' to insert your song

choose whatever song you want

i chose JBJ's 'Fantasy' because i am seriously in love with their debut

who is your bias in JBJ? mine is taehyun :D

double click the song or press 'Open' to import your song

go to the magnifying glass/zoom in symbol (in the video) and click it a few times to spread the track out like this

now go to the left of the track and select the 'down arrow' to open a drop down menu (shown in video^^)

select 'Split Stereo Track' to practically separate the track into left headphone and right headphone

now go to the top track and find the symbols 'L' and 'R' (in video)and drag the 'L' side all the way to the left

go to the bottom track and find the same symbols but drag the 'R' side all the way to the right

now find the symbol in the top which looks a little bit like <--> (in video) and select that

select the bottom track and move it JUST SLIGHTLY to the right

this will basically create the '3D' effect in the song

preview it to see if it is '3D' enough and adjust it to your liking

you can also increase the bass and treble in the song by going to the 'Effect' tab and selecting 'Bass and Treble' then adjusting it

just keep in mind a little bass goes a LONG WAY

lol don't make it tOo LiT

i kinda hate increasing the bass lol so I didn't end up keeping the increased bass but y'all can test it out and se if you like it or not

to save your song, go to 'File' and select 'Export Audio'

type whatever title you want and what save destination you would like

ignore

AND WE'RE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

bragging??

so that credit card allows you to collect points loads of loads of

points where do you want to use those points well it's a credit card from

company called IHG which is the owner of lots of hotels

Holiday Inn, Holiday Express, Crowne Plaza, Intercontinental lots of other

brands in the US but what they have got is a credit card issued by a bank in the

UK and in the US and I don't know if there is any parts of the Europe that

has got that as well but if you are planning on staying any time soon

anywhere in the world and you want to move your ass from the couch and go and

see places this is the best thing you can think of let me explain so when you

normally get a credit card what you have to do is of course make purchases on it

so your credit score goes up and maybe also like this reward card you get some

rewards right simple everyone is with me on that okay and next time is of course

different kinds of rewards some and company some shops some supermarkets

some some moles maybe actually giving you a store card where you can go in and

purchase and get five 10% discount that kind of thing

and of course there is plenty of them here in the UK as well Tesco, Sainsbury's

all the big store, Morrison's all of them doing that kind of sort of

credit card discount product credit card and usually that gives you 5% -10%

discount on certain items or you get something called cashback where you

can for instance spend some money and if you spend up to a certain level you get

let's say hundred pounds cashback a month but that's the sort of highest of

highest levels usually you're gonna get five to ten percent back my lot but this

thing is a beast right I have been using this for a year now put all my expenses

through one card now why am I so excited about this and why I want you to even

sort of remotely consider it because I've applied for this card I got it

because they are running some crazy APR , check APR's if you do not know what that is

interest on your credit card so usually the rate of people who can actually get

that card it's quite high because they they hoping that you're gonna stop

paying at some point and you're gonna you know we paying them interest right

so the level of how easily you can get that card and be accepted on it it's

actually quite high but god damn it Michael what does it do well it does one

very simple thing you collect coins why the only points for of course I wouldn't

be telling you this is this card wasn't worth it

you collect points for every pound you spend you get four points now in order

to stay Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza or even five star in to

Intercontinental Hotel there is different tiers and levels of points right so for

instance if you start collecting points let's say after a week a month or two

five months depends on how much you spend it on it you actually gonna

accumulate points so then your account could have 30, 40, 60, 70, or 150 thousand

points I spent zero amount of dollars or pounds on my

last trip with my wife to Boston it was completely funded by this and the point

of it we stayed two nights at the five-star International Hotel in Boston

that was worth at least $600 so now you're gonna be wondering where's the

catch well there is none maybe there is one and the catch is that you have to

under no circumstances pay this card of every month because the interest is

ridiculous it's like 40% interest this interest of this card is like a payday

loan interest even if you think about getting a card but you cannot rely on

yourself don't don't get it because you gonna probably get a huge amount of

credit here because they warned you to start making purchases so you cannot pay

them back right that's how they work but if you are able to sort of maintain and

manage your finances of this is the greatest thing I've discovered since

last year it's just change everything and don't worry don't worry don't worry

Good morning and welcome to the take your light back Today Show my name is ralph frerichs

I'm your host addiction recovery coach and life coach

What are some of the signs of addiction and?

how do you know if it has control of you well let's talk about for signs of addiction that have a

Control of you at the early stages of addiction my friends

Balancing life and using what was probably hard

But it was manageable at that time at the early stages

This is nevertheless as your addiction grows strong it becomes harder and harder to feed the balancing act

Start falling apart in your life. You will struggle to sneak to get your drugs and your alcohol

You will start to get caught by people your family would start to push you away, and you will begin to feel

very alone and to start of your addiction

With only your drugs and your uncle to soothe your suffering you continue on in life's

miserable start of addiction if you truly want to avoid losing everything in your life and

Possibility you even your life. You should pay close attention to the four signs of addiction that has

Taken control of you number one on my list number one is you see your life as

Dim and very bleak when your addiction begins to spiral out of control

Your outlook of life will start changing tremendously you will begin to see through dark colored glasses

Depression will ensue a feeling of helplessness and regret will monopolize most of your sober

minutes when you're not feeling depressed you will feel anxious about different mistakes that you have made the anxiety will make it

Hard to focus on the one facet of your life - to the next facet

Regrets are hard to handle in life and masking them with a substance is one of

The easiest way to do it you feel at least but eventually you can't mask them anymore

And you your whole life spins out of control

If you're part of an addiction cycle that is spinning out of control your typical day goes something like this now listen up very carefully

You wake up promising yourself that you're not going to use today

You get anxious and you get restless you start rationalized with yourself about it. How it will be okay?

Just to use jazz a little you think it will help you quit you use, but it's not enough

you figure I'll quit tomorrow you use more and neglect all the

responsibilities of your life

You crash

You wake up feeling guilty and start the cycle all over again the next day

Simply put you have lost control of your own free will

The addiction has taken control of you my friend

You are literally enslaved to your attention and number four my list is you use to avoid withdrawal?

withdrawal my friends can be the hardest thing I remember one I

Drank excessively, and I finally decided to not only turn my life to Jesus

But turn my life away from the drugs and ob' excuse me just from the alcohol because I never did drugs

but I remember to which are all for two weeks and sweating and

Feeling hopelessness well listen to number four you use to avoid withdrawal when you stop using your body

Physically reacts the reaction is two extremely uncomfortable

If you are using just to control the withdrawal you are clearly not in control of your life my friend

The addiction has taken control of you if you're using just to control the withdrawal you are clearly not in control of your life

I promise you that your addiction has taken hold of you and is demanding demanding

Screaming that you better feed your addiction

Friend your only choice at this point is to find a facility and get the help that you need to detox from your

Substance abuse when you step back and look at the big picture you

Will see that your choices have led you down a very dangerous path, and you have lost control of your own life to substance

While the substance may be ruining your life right now, it doesn't have to stay that way all you need to do are two things

first

Admit you have a problem

Admit you have a problem

if you've listened to these four and geeze relate to you why no all admit you have a problem and then

Turn your life to Jesus

You can call me at eight four four four zero five help because together you and I we can help each other take our lives

back

But it all starts with you these were the four signs that addiction has control of you you see

Life as dim and bleak when your addiction begins to spiral to spiral out of control spinning out of control

nothing, and everything looks very

Bleak you have begun to lose. What used to be important to you my friends that's number two have you lost your job

Have you lost your home your children your spouse?

Your most valuable items have you lost any and all of them number

Three is you feel like you cannot control your day

You're added your day is out of control you wake up promising yourself each and every day. I will just do today

It's okay. Tomorrow's a different day. You get anxious and restless you start rationalizing with you somehow it will be okay

Just to use just a little bit

You think you will?

Quit soon you use, but it's never enough

you figure I'll quit tomorrow you use more neglect all the

responsibilities you crash you wake up feeling guilty and start the cycle all over again and

Number four you use to avoid withdrawals and withdrawals are tough my friends

I don't know about drugs, but I know alcohol withdrawal was tough. It was one of the toughest things

I went to it for two weeks just about

two weeks of shaking two weeks of sweating

Two weeks of wishing I had one more drink to wish are two weeks of

hoping that this all will end soon folks with the power of prayer and

God's guidance and return of direction

I was able to go through it without any help from anyone except for from God because God is more powerful

than any counselor any life coach any rehab center and

I'm telling you this right now folks

If you think that on number three you'll figure. I'll quit tomorrow is a guarantee to you

It's not there are many people in life that think they have a tomorrow and they don't

You were blessed today with 86400 seconds to live utilize

Some of those seconds to say thank you to God and utilize a lot of those seconds are finding the help that you need

because if you

Show four signs any signs of this addiction taken control of you

I hate to put it very bluntly code, but you are an addict

You're an alcoholic

I'm an alcoholic

But if you using drugs yer Natick. There's no ways about it

You could sugarcoat it all you want you are an addict, and you need to get help before you my friend

will die

So many people so many days so many weeks so many years are overdosing daily

What will it take for you to get the help that you need what will it take?

Will it take for a close relative of yours to overdose because you get to that point to overdosing?

It doesn't matter because you are gone

Now you have left your loved ones to grieve over you

And you have leaving your loved ones to scratched ahead say what could we have done better to help you?

here I'm honored to spend this time with you my channels one purpose is to help

grow your faith in to help equip you to accomplish your dreams and your goals

hey watch all the way to the end I'm talking about some exciting stuff that I

have coming up and you don't want to miss out you know a few years ago my

husband and I moved into a new neighborhood and there's lots of new

construction going on new homes being built it seemed like almost every single

week there was a new house going up and my son and I went for a walk one night

and we were just talking and enjoying the sunset so beautiful just an a

beautiful evening the breeze was nice everything was great but this one thing

you know whenever there's new construction going into a neighborhood

the last thing to be done is the landscaping and so the landscaping was

just getting done on this particular street and the smell was overwhelming

there was tons of flies and my son asked me Mom why does the street stink so bad

and I began to explain to him you know that whenever they put down new

landscaping that they'll always come in and put in manure and witches animal

poop to help nourish the plants and I told them those new plants they need

lots of manure to help give them all the nutrients they need to grow to their

full potential and I said even though that this street stinks really bad right

now if you come back down the street in just a few months it's gonna be full of

beautiful things you know time went on and we were out on another walk and sure

enough all those plants on that street were beautiful they were flourishing you

know it kind of made me think about times in our lives where we feel like

we're just going through stinky seasons have you ever felt like that

like anything that bad that could happen has happened

it seems like one bad break after another and Fran let me just tell you if

you find yourself in a season like that don't get discouraged don't start to top

out just know this that that is God putting manure on your dreams that you

won't reach your all potential unless you go through some

stinky times unless you go through some hard times I love this scripture in

Isaiah 43 verse 18 it says do not earnestly remember the former things

neither consider the things of old behold I'm doing a new thing now it

springs forth do you not perceive it and know it and will you not give heed to it

I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert I love the

scripture so much for this reason because the Lord tells us here do not

earnestly remember the former things in other words don't be so focused on the

bad seasons that you miss out on the good seasons I have ahead of you we get

so focused with the things that aren't going right that we miss out on all the

things that are going right and he's saying don't remember what was back

there you know sometimes I'll talk to people and they'll say crystal the theme

of my life is bad luck the theme of my life is bad brakes and that makes me so

sad and what they're saying is I'm gonna keep repeating what happened to me five

years ago ten years ago one year ago I'm just living my life on repeat and the

Lord would say quit remembering those things you're setting your mind on the

stinky season when God's calling you forth into a new thing you know what if

whenever we go through those seasons that are hard that are stinky they kind

of smell bad it seems like we didn't get the job promotion we wanted that

business didn't work out the way we thought our marriage is struggling our

kids aren't doing what we want them to do what if instead of us complaining

about it as saying god this is just more fertilizer it's you getting me prepared

for something greater God even though everything in my finances doesn't look

like what I want it to look like I know this is just a fertilizer that's getting

all the nutrients I need to go into my next season with grace it may smell bad

for a little while but if I keep doing the right thing

I'm going to come up to a new season of growth a new season of my full potential

a new season of God beginning to pour out on me one blessing on top of another

see we've got to get to a place where we quit complaining about the fertilizer

quit complaining about the people that hurt you quit complaining about how the

didn't work out and start saying god I know that you are gonna take this

fertilizer and make it into something great I know that all things do work

together for my good you know I read a story recently about a woman and

whenever she was 12 years old her mother went on dialysis her mom was a single

mom and she was left to kind of take care of her younger brother and so she

started cooking and getting him ready for school which I can't even imagine

how hard that was for a twelve-year-old you know as I read her story about her

telling what this scenario was like she said it was really difficult not to have

a mom who was healthy my mom wasn't able she says to go to the different school

programs when all is it able to take us to school she wasn't able to clean so I

did those things for her you know she helped raise her brother and now here

she is she went on to get her master's degree and she's got a doctorate

currently that she's working on and then on top of that she's working in

corporate America happily married with three children of her own see if she

wouldn't have not forgotten the hard things she wouldn't have been looking

for the good things that God has ahead I have a pastor friend of mine that said

recently don't just go through things grow through things you've got to begin

to grow through the fertilizer seasons of life yes things aren't going the way

you want them to go I understand that everything doesn't look like it's

panning out the way you want it to but just know this that those bad breaks

that bad news that doctor's report is just fertilizer it's just getting you

ready for the good things that God has ahead for you another scripture that'll

encourage you I love this so much in Psalms 30 verse 5 says God's anger is

for a moment but his favor is for a lifetime weeping may endure for a night

but his joy comes in the morning I love that so much because it lets me know

this there might be just a moment where I feel like God have you forgotten me

God are you angry at me God have you forsaken me have you ever thought that

but I love that the psalmist goes on to say but his favor is for a lifetime in

other words more of my life is meant to be dwelling on the good things that

God's doing then constantly remembering how things didn't work out

constantly remembering about that disappointment constantly remembering

about that bad break and the sad thing is the more we dwell on the things that

we don't want the more of those things begin to appear in our life instead we

need to begin to get our eyes off of our past and start looking out the front

think about even in your refrigerator right now you've got lots of food right

if you begin to go in there and eat expired food what would happen you'd get

sick if you begin to eat expired yogurt began to drink expired milk began to put

expired butter on your moldy bread what would happen you would be so sick why

you're eating expired food and your body wasn't made to run on that the same is

true in our lives so many of us are living on yesterday's disappointment we

wake up and the moment our eyes open we begin to play out scenarios of how

yesterday disappointed us and so today we'll - in fact we start to lower

expectations we even tell our children don't get your hopes up why because

we're earnestly we remembering the disappointments of yesterday see here in

Isaiah chapter 43 god wants to do a new thing for his people but he can't do the

new thing unless they do the first thing and that's forgetting all the

disappointment forgetting how they've been let down forgetting how things

didn't turn out the way they wanted forgetting about the people that hurt

them forgetting about the people that left them and just begin to set their

eyes on heaven I want to encourage you friend if you're in a season of your

life where it feels like one stinky street after another and it seems like

one disappointment heaped on top of the other I want to just give you good news

that that is fertilizer and it's letting you know that good things are ahead and

just like that street that we walk down just a few months later was filled with

beautiful flowers and just like the woman whose story I told you about she

went on to get her master's and now is working on her doctorate with three kids

and a happy marriage I want to tell you that the same is true in your life don't

let this disappointment set up the rest of your life don't let this hard season

begin to define what God's going to do for the rest of your life because I

promise you this the rest of your life to be the best of your life and you're

gonna say just like the psalmist did in Psalms 30 verse 5 even though I thought

God's anger was for a moment his favour was for my lifetime and that is the

dryer model.

The reason you might need to change this part is if your lint screen is broken or really dirty.

So this is our dryer model.

Yours might look different.

Just keep in mind this can apply to any dryer appliance.

All you have to do to take out the lint screen is simply take it out

and then we're going to grab our new OEM replacement lint screen.

if you don't have one of these lint screens already you can find them on our online store.

This is very simple, all you have to do is simply place it in.

And once you've done that your repair is complete.

Ready, Set, Hold: December 2017 - Duration: 6:27.

Hi everyone. I'm rincey and i am one of the contributing editors over at book

riot and i'm back to do a ready set hold for you guys.

Ready Set Hold is a feature where we highlight new books that are coming out

a couple of months in advance. So that way you guys are aware of them and can

put them on hold at your local library. So you can be at the top of the whole

list rather than the bottom of the whole list in this video. I'm going to be

talking about books that are coming out in December 2017.

December is sort of like a slower month in terms of book releases because a lot

of publishers try to get their sort of big exciting books out before the

holiday season really gets going. But there are a couple of books that I did

want to highlight for you guys. So the first one is year one by Nora Roberts.

And Nora Roberts has written like 200 plus books but I feel like this is the

first time I'm seeing her come out with like a fantasy type book which really

intrigued me. If you are someone who's read a lot of Nora Roberts or are aware of

her bibliography and she has come out with fantasy before, feel free to

correct me down in the comments below. But this is the first time I've seen

anything with like a fantasy twist to a Nora Roberts book. So the story begins on

New Year's Eve where there is this disease that is spreading. And then

basically the fear around the disease also starts to create this sort of

collapse in the world and in the society here in the United States. Electrical

grids start failing, the government seems to collapse and like half of the world's

population seems to completely die from this disease or effects of the disease.

And in the midst of sort of like the government and science sort of

collapsing in the world, magic seems to be rising around the world to almost

like counteract everything that's happening. Some of it is good magic and

you are following this character named Laura who practices this good magic in

her apartment with her lover Max. But some of it is bad magic and there just

seems to be evil everywhere. So in the story I believe you were following a

cast of characters who are dealing with this word of dystopian situation that

they're presented with where none of them are really sure like who's the good

guys and who are the bad guys in terms of the strangers around them and they

don't really know what's happening in the world

anymore and they have to figure out how to survive. Like I said, it's the first

sort of fantasy Nora Roberts book that I've ever seen her come out with. This is

also the first in a series. I'm not sure how many books are going to be in this

series. But if you are a fan of Nora Roberts, this probably will be something

of interest to you. But also if you're someone who hasn't ever read Nora

Roberts but you like sort of fantasy stories, this one might intrigue you a

little bit. So again that's year one by Nora Roberts. Oh and that comes out on

December 5th. I definitely forgot to say that. The second book I want to highlight

also comes out on December 5th and that is the girl in the tower by Katherine

Arden. This is the sequel to the bear and the nightingale, which I believe came out

last year and this is the second book in a trilogy. So if you read the bear and the

nightingale, this is definitely one that you want to have on your hold list.

So you can see what happens next. So I'm not gonna talk too much about the

plot of this one because obviously I don't want to spoil the first book if

you haven't read the first book. But you are following this girl named Vasya or

this woman named Vasya who has to decide between getting married or joining a

convent but she decides to actually flee and escape both of those options.

But then she finds herself in some situations where she is going to have to

help defend Moscow which has currently come under siege. I've heard a lot of

really good things about the bear and the nightingale. I personally haven't

read it yet but I know a lot of people who have and really enjoyed it. So

obviously this is a much anticipated follow-up. So if you have read the bear

and the nightingale and you are waiting for the sequel, it's coming out December

5th. Or if you have it yet you can pick it up now and then when December 5th

rolls around you'll be ready to pick up book 2. Next up I have three daughters of

Eve by Elif Shafak, which also comes out on December 5th. This story takes

place in contemporary Istanbul and you are following this woman named Perry who

heads off to a night at this dinner party. But while she's at this dinner

party, this terrorist attack takes place. But also on top of that while she was on

her way to the dinner party she ends up getting attacked by someone who's trying

to like steal her handbag. And while she sort of wrestling with this person, a

photograph or Polaroid falls out of her bag and she remembers this major event

that happened in her past that she's basically been trying to forget her

whole life. So Elif Shafak is a really great

turkish writer. I'm a big fan of hers. She does a really great job of exploring

sort of what it's like to especially be a woman in in semble and the different

lines that there are between like religious and secular life, the rich and

the poor, east and west, and also just like family and friendship all in Turkey.

So if you are a fan of Elif Shafak or you are just interested in seeing a story

set in modern-day Istanbul, definitely pick up three daughters of Eve which

comes out on December 5th. And the final book I'm going to highlight is a distant

heart by Sonali dev. Sonali dev has written a number of books including the

Bollywood Bride, the Bollywood affair, and most recently a change of heart

all of which I've heard really really good things about. In this story you are

following this girl named Kimmy who is born to her parents after her parents

have like a number of miscarriages and so they basically treat her like a

miracle. But when she gets a little bit older it turns out that she has this

sort of disease that forces her to live in sort of a germ-free world. So she

basically gets stuck away in this ivory tower and she basically lives there all

alone until someone decides to basically join her in her world. So at age 14, this guy

named Raul is basically tasked to be Kimmy's like servant and they end up

forming this sort of friendship and he becomes her eyes to the world that's

happening around her. But he is still a servant and so they are forced to make

some difficult decisions in terms of their friendships and their own sort of

relationship with each other and the things that he has to deal with when

he's not there and the difficult situations that he's in. This is set in

modern-day India and it sounds like a really interesting look at the class

situation there and also just all the complications that come with love and

friendship. And again that's a distant heart and that one comes out on December

26th. So that's everything I have for you guys. Feel free to let me know down in

YOU A NOMAD - The Urbanist - Track 3/5 - Duration: 7:38.

African-Americans were welcomed here during the Second World War.

That's when San Francisco, Oakland opened to African-Americans as

as was the case in New York, Detroit, and a number of other cities.

And what we didn't realize then was that we were at the end of the job cue

for industrial labor forces. And by the 1950s these industries were starting to decline.

So what happened was that the white working force that was ahead of

African-Americans had more seniority moved out of the cities with these industries.

Blacks could not follow the their white labor peers into the suburbs because of

racial discrimination. There were covenants that kept African-Americans

from buying property in these new suburbs. And these properties were paid

for by the federal government. The new home mortgage systems were all available

to white working-class people who took well advantage of it.

They had the GI Bill as well. And they were able to move into the suburbs

create new communities in the suburbs closer to the new manufacturing centers

and in the process left African-Americans behind in large cities

without the industrial base to support the population.

In East and West Oakland you

have one of the highest homeowner-- rates of homeownership in the country.

Okay, so you had people who managed to invest and to get their properties and to establish

well established communities. Now what happened when you have industry pulls

out of a city and leaves its and leaves a population there without the

opportunity for work you then have census tracts actually

blocks in West and East Oakland that had 50 percent unemployment rates by 1960.

It didn't improve by '70, '80 and '90. So what happened is you had a large

portion of of communities-- not all, not everyone-- but you had enough people in

communities without any viable way of supporting themselves that they were

then open to whatever way they could. The overlooked significance of the Panther Party

is that they held back the drug tide. When they were operating they would

not allow drug dealers and drugs to become a new economy

in East or West Oakland.

We couldn't understand for years why are drugs confined to black communities

because black people have fewer-- less money than anyone else? So if you're

gonna make money on drugs why would it be with the poorest community?

Well it wasn't because it was for black trafficking, it was a way of getting drugs

out into suburban communities and then keeping the police heat and the whole identity

of drugs on black communities and never seen that it was going out.

I was able to map the primary drug, crack cocaine trafficking locations in East Oakland.

And it turned out that all of them were within 5 blocks of freeway exits and entrances.

Think about this. If you live in East and West Oakland why

was it necessary to stand on the street corner and sell drugs? If people who--

if your primary traffic were people who live in the community they don't need to

stand on the street corner you can do it from one another's homes for that matter.

I have actually plotted, tracked and mapped the extent to which drugs became

predominant on various blocks in Harlem and in East Oakland.

And at what point does that block no longer become livable? The untold story is that

many of these blocks held out. They resisted. They in fact had a pitch war

against these elements. And a number of them won. But then a number of them failed.

And that is-- whenever a block is gets to a point where it becomes

uninhabitable or you no longer control it, you're out of there. So then what happens

is that anyone who gets a good job and in some of these blocks first thing they do is

What do they do? They leave the community. You see the population

softening from the 1970s to the '80s of the '90s. You start to see the population

going down, down, down. And we didn't call it gentrification then, but it was going down.

And when it got low enough, when the-- basically the social backbone of the

community was broken, and in effect was was wiped out, then it created these spaces

in effect, whole blocks of buildings where their value was so low

that anyone with any imagination would say: Well my god, why should I pay

6,7-- 6 or 700,000 dollars to live out in the suburbs when I can buy

an old Victorian in West Oakland or in San Francisco for $150- $200,000?

One of the things we don't look at in gentrification is that the black people

and poor people who are being displaced from the city don't disappear.

They don't fall off the face of the earth. Or, didn't get gobbled up or something.

Question is where do they go? And it's very clear they're going

way, way, way, way out. Fresno, Tracy, Stockton and Antioch.

Pittsburg, Hercules, Vallejo. Same for New York.

They're being pushed way out in New Jersey, into The Oranges, up to Rockland County,

up to Westchester County, out onto the island, and so forth. So, you know, they're there.

So what we're seeing is the displacement of people from the inner city, but now

the formation of, if you will, new ghettos in the suburban communities.

Kim Kim No Ozone - Behind The Drawings - Duration: 7:10.

No Ozone is made entirely out of ink and paper.

Back in 2016 I got this idea for a cartoon music video

and I didn't think it would take more than a few months to finish.

I've been following Kim's work before I knew him.

So I was very proud to be approached to do this project.

So actually…

When he asked me it was an easy choice.

I teamed up with Anna Dea to do the video.

But none of us had done cartoons before.

We were quite overwhelmed realising

how many drawings you would have to make for three minutes of animation.

I would also pitch in and do a lot of the drawings.

Later Nicolai would join as well.

Anna Dea and Nicolai are both very talented animators.

I was so happy to have these people along for the project.

So I said, of course I'm going to do this this is going to be fun.

So we started, and coming over to Anna Dea for the first time seeing

these big fat…

piles of papers and papers with pictures of Kim that we had to draw…

And I never met Kim before.

We partially used some recorded footage of me

dancing or singing

so we could be sure of having these smooth sequences.

We also just drew out of our imagination.

There was a flat structure in the whole process.

Even though it was for Kim's music we all had a say and we all contributed.

That was a very nice creative experience.

At the beginning we just sat with light tables  and did pretty simple copying

with the original picture of Kim underneath.

Then at some point, instead of taking the original photo from the movie

we took each others' drawings.

I took Anna Dea's drawing and used it as the 'stencil'.

The result is pretty funny because at some points in the music video

you can't really see who did what.

It mixes really well together.

No Ozone consists of 2448 individual drawings.

All of them were scanned and aligned next to each other.

I guess it's the most simple way to make a music video

but it took ages to finish, really.

I'm a really patient person normally.

But in this speedy music business of today,

when one is still trying to break through,

it can feel like a contra-intuitive project to make a video like this one.

But I'm also very stubborn, just like my two team buddies.

We had a lot of fun doing it, I mean…

It was hard, there was a lot of work.

It wasn't that hard, in some sense.

It took a lot of time, but if you're patient I guess…

Okay I'm lying about it when I say it wasn't hard.

When we started drawing…

We did it out if an old version of the song.

And as time passed by  I felt the cartoon needed a better version

of the song.

I made a new song, and it was a risk actually not knowing how…

if the drawings would align well to the new version.

But I think it did.

Some of the places it 'clicked' perfectly.

One of my favourite places is where you got this skeleton voguing.

And the dance movements fit so well with these voodoo screams.

It's a very poetic and sort of

surrealist text that made it very easy to work with the images.

Because you could take it all out  and be really grotesque and absurd with it.

I think it's Anna Dea who did it…

where there is a snake,

and Kim's hands come out of its mouth and do…

some stuff like this.

And that looks fucking amazing.

We spend weeks together where it was like,

'now we meet in the morning, and we animate until our heads fall off

and then we meet again tomorrow'.

I don't think I could have done such a project on my own.

Not even half of it.

To work with Kim and Nicolai was just a gift.

You get that sometimes in life…

Someone comes along, and they just push you to do things

you didn't know you could.

Music videos are a very important part my music.

And I would feel sad just making something

that would just be an excuse for putting pictures on a song…

that you could spit out on YouTube or whatever.

I really want to do video pieces  that are just as important as the music.

That could be considered as art pieces perhaps.

I will highly recommend anybody to do it.

But it takes a shit-ton of time.

I hope people like the video  and that they can tell

there is a lot of hard work and love in each drawing.

Hi I am Jordan.

Today i am going to be showing you how to replace the push in nut on your dryer model.

The reason you might need to change this part is if it is broken or missing.

For this repair, you'll need a Phillips head screwdriver.

So this is our dryer model, yours might look different just keep in mind that these same

techniques can apply to any dryer appliance.

So this is our control assembly as you can see ours is loosen so our end cap screws screws

in into the push in nut because it is located right here as you can see we are missing ours

in order to fix it, we are going to grab our new OEM replacement nut, and if you don't

have one of these already you can find them on our online store.

So we are just to take our new nut, place it inside and make sure that it matches with

the opening at the bottom.

Push it in until you hear a click.

then push the assembly back then we are going to line up the screw with our new nut with

our Phillips head screwdriver just screw this one in.

Once you've done that just make sure the end caps are tightened on the top and if they

are your repair is complete.

How to make a glowing and floating Halloween ghost - Duration: 5:12.

Hi today I want to show you

how I will make this ghost with LED candle.

I will use polystyrene ball and LED candle.

I will make a copy of the side of the candle.

and I will make a hole in a polystyrene ball.

On the opposite side of the polystyrene ball I draw the shape of the skull

and I will make a hole in a polystyrene ball

Now I will paint a polystyrene ball with black colour

Now I use a small container and I will mix glue with black colour.

Now I use a gauze and I put a gauze in this mixture

I put the polystyrene ball on the some glass or bottle.

I leave a white spot in the middle of the gauze

and I put this gauze on the polystyrene ball .

I will do this same with other gauze.

I forgot to put the LED candle into the polystyrene ball.

Now I use some pens to make the shape of the ghost

and let it dry.

After drying I use on the face more white colour.

and if you think that your ghost need more black colour

you can fix it now.

On the cardboard I will draw eyes, nose

and mouth for ghost.

I cut out these parts

and I will paint these parts with black pen

and I will glue ghost eyes to the white spot.

now I will glue nose.

and mouth.

and the last step

I use a small piece of thread

and I will fix this thread to the ghost head

and I have finish.

I have nice the decoration for Halloween

It's easy and fast to make this decoration.
