How Many Calories A Day Should You Eat? - Duration: 3:24.
If you're wondering how many calories to eat every day to maintain an ideal weight
– that's a loaded question.
You know you probably shouldn't hit that all-you-can-eat buffet with the gusto of an
Ironman competitor, but you aren't sure how many calories you can safely consume without
gaining that flab on your stomach.
To make this simple question even more confusing, it isn't just the number of calories we
consume that keeps us looking great and feeling good, but the kind of calories we consume.
First, though, let's look at a general caloric guideline for both men and women.
Generally speaking, for individuals who aren't training to swim across the English Channel
or climb Mt. Everest, they can count on eating between 2000 and 2500 calories a day to maintain
their weight.
For women, it's the smaller number, and men can usually stand to consume a little
more due to their higher muscle mass.
This causes them to burn calories at a faster rate.
Anyone who increases their muscle mass; however, will burn calories faster, but there are other
factors in the equation such as:
- Your natural metabolic rate – the millions of chemical interactions in your body that
determine how fast your heart beats, you breathe, you burn fat, etc.
Most of your calories are burned every day when you are at rest.
This is called your basal metabolic rate.
(BMR) - Your age – As we get older we burn calories
more slowly - Hormonal factors – conditions like hyperthyroidism
or hypothyroidism can cause you to burn calories too fast or too slow
- The weather where you live – People who live in very cold or very hot climates will
burn more calories to keep their bodies at a comfortable temperature
- Drugs you take – many drugs can interfere with the body's metabolism, causing it to
slow down or speed up - Your level of physical activity – though
most of our calories are burned when we are doing nothing, regular exercise tends to increase
our BMR - Diet – the absence of certain important
vitamins and minerals can either boost your metabolism or hinder it.
If you don't eat enough iodine found in leafy green vegetables, for instance, this
can affect your thyroid gland and cause you to become obese
To burn a pound of fat or to gain one, you will typically need to either cut 1500 calories
from your diet or add them.
Depending on the factors, and your goal to either lose weight or gain it, you can decide
if you can hit that all-you-can-eat buffet.
Just mind your reach if you're standing behind the Olympic Swimmer Michael Phelps.
He's rumored to eat 12,000 calories a day!

Astralis Dupreeh "this game was a really great example of how much confidence means in CS" - Duration: 5:48.
I haven't really had the time to look at Dust 2 yet.
I've only watched like a stream or someone posting pictures on Twitter or on Reddit showing
bugs and stuff, that's in the beta version of course.
But apart from that no I haven't really had the time to experience myself.
But from what I can see it's pretty much the same layout as the old version it's just like
a new texture update I guess.
And obviously maybe there's a small trick in there you can learn but overall I'm looking
forward to playing Dust 2 again.
The map I would probably like to see out is Cobblestone and first of all the reason for
that is that we don't play as a team and I guess everyone knows that by now so if we
could actually get rid of that map and maybe play Dust 2 and get good at it that will definitely
strengthen our map pool.
But I really like that.
It's hard to say because I also don't enjoy watching Cobble.
a lot of people wants to get Nuke out of the way.
I think Nuke is the most, like the least played map there is, but I actually like Nuke.
I think you maybe need a little tweak here and there to be more competitive and more
balanced in some way.
But overall I just I would prefer to say cobblestone or Cache going out.
I don't follow Dota 2 that much, so I don't really know any details on they work and their
system in DotA 2, but overall I've heard from the from the teams that I know is going to
play in a minor, especially also Heroic which I talk a lot to, they are very stressed about
it.
They actually had to leave whenever they lost because they had to go home to prepare and
actually go home and play some kind of qualifier.
So I think... and I was I've also heard that some teams were forced to play like maybe
three days after the announcement and they had to get themselves together and all that
stuff.
I think it's a little bit rushed.
And I think they maybe announced a little bit too late but also for like private stuff
wise.
I mean since the major is going to be in I suppose it's late January.
Oh I think so.
You want to be able to, let's say I'm going to book a vacation throughout Christmas and
let's say that I didn't know when that the tournament was maybe if I would have known
like six months prior then there would be a lot easier to plan my schedule.
Now I have to go home early from my vacation which I already planned because it was announced
too late which is a little annoying so I think there's more things that can be updated both
for team but also for people maybe going for a private version of it.
I think there's a lot of new things coming up and what I really like is a 24/7 practice
area whether you want to practice as a team or you just want to go play deathmatch.
And if you can have that on the venue that's you that's close to or even better at the
hotel.
We've experienced a couple of times now that the organizers have the event at the actual
hotel you stay at which is really great for you.
You can just take the elevator and then you will be able to go practice.
And I think that's really great.
Obviously they've stepped up the game in terms of catering which I think is really important.
But also in general just I mean everyone is different.
I like the fact that you can customize, I know ESL is running with tables you can customize
the height and so on.
And that's really important as a player because everyone sits differently someone wants to
sit high some Wants to the low.
So overall organize are stepping up but Eleague is by far the tournament I have right now
the thing is the best one.
Oh I mean I think I have a handwriting that allows me to do all kinds of sketching stuff.
I'm not really good drawing but I'm really good like both of my signatures.
I try to make it a little bit more cool-ish.
I just have a nice handwriting on judging myself.
I've done some legal stuff before with some friends.
We were allowed to paint on a wall and that's what I basically have done and I've just been
sketching on paper.
But overall I just you know I just like to write random stuff and put weird letters together
and make them look cool so yeah.
I think the reason why I keep losing hotel key cards is because I put too much faith
in my teammate always having a key.
I think that's where it came down to and I don't know it's just whenever I leave the
room I'm just like well my roommate probably has one.
And then whenever I stay on my own I have my own hotel room I literally have to go ask
for your room card like seven times.
It's kind of awkward but maybe I should...
I think it's also because I don't really bring my wallet outside of the hotel because I usually
just you know I only bring if I know I'm have to buying something so I never bring to events
or anything.
So maybe that's also why I don't keep it there I don't keep it in my pocket.
I don't I wouldn't say we tilted at any point.
We got frustrated at some point but there was more like individually people got frustrated
cause they either didn't hit their shots so they made bad decisions or whatever.
I think this game was a really really great example of how much confidence means in CS.
We knew we were going to start of Mirage against Cloud 9 which they've been playing very well.
So overall losing Mirage would be fine since we knew that they were not that great on Overpass
but we had a great Overpass.
And I don't know like you know throughout the game like most of the game Cloud 9 was
just really confident in every duel they took or every decision they made.
Where as we lacked a lot of confidence but that definitely show on Inferno.
On Inferno we just played on another level like as a team but also individually.
And whenever people just do like triple kills and double kills and all that stuff, whenever
they execute you just win CS.
That's how it is.
You know if you trade evenly then that's where a team play comes in.
But individually if you just hit your shots and also it can be so easy to win CS.
And that's also why I think FaZe is such a great team right now because whenever you
execute against FaZe they usually get like two or three kills and then that gets basically
up to three three or four guys just to eliminate the last 2 guys.
So overall I just think that Cloud9 came in a little over confident and we did lack some
confidence at the beginning because they started winning.
We lost some really stupid rounds on Mirage as well.
So it just took some time to grind that confidence back but after the Overpass come back I'd
say that we know we just decided 'let's play without fear.'
Let's just go in and get every duel.
Who cares if we get shot.
Just, you know, take a duel.
Be confident and that's what we did.

Why We Hallucinate While Falling Asleep - Duration: 5:05.
have you ever played a video game for so long but when you finally put on the
controller and are maybe falling asleep you see images of the game flash before
your eyes this happened to me a bunch of times personally one time I had played
so much Tetris and I was writing a paper in college that I got surprised that the
words on my screen weren't falling down I was like why are they all just staying
there I was expecting them to like start as very tired these hallucinations can
be other things too like jigsaw puzzles or apple-picking and they happen in the
weird limbo between wakefulness and sleep called hypnagogia in fact lots of
strange things can happen in this state like twitching or something called
exploding head syndrome don't worry no brain bits are involved in that one but
it can still get pretty trippy scientists don't know a ton about
hypnagogia but they are learning they consider it to be an altered state of
consciousness not unlike an LSD trip the hypnagogic state only lasts about 10
minutes as you transition from being awake to being asleep although sometimes
it's called the first stage of sleep and during this period of drowsy pre slumber
you can hallucinate you might feel like you're falling flying or floating you
might hear short phrases or sounds or see anything from amorphous shapes and
colors to clear images of people now this might seem like dreaming but it's a
little different most dreams happen during rapid eye movement or REM sleep
where your brain is much more active than during the rest of your shut-eye
and dreams are usually pretty vivid you're part of some kind of action or
story like going to outer space in a hot air balloon to meet a clown that sounds
like Sir Patrick Stewart but hypnagogic states are more like watching snippets
of films in an experimental art gallery Salvador Dali even famously used
hypnagogic imagery to inform his art disrupting his naps to get inspiration
it's not always the case but the imagery can come from something mundane or
repetitive you were doing while you were awake like playing Tetris that's why
this hallucination phenomenon is sometimes called the tetris effect
scientists don't know why these hallucinations happen because not
everyone gets them and they can be a symptom of disorders like narcolepsy
which is basically extreme sleepiness but one
idea is that some parts of your brain take longer than others to fall into
sleep mode as you're drifting off your brains electrical pulses or brain waves
start to slow down they shift from moderately fast alpha waves which are
typical of being relaxed but awake to slower theta waves of early sleep to
even slower delta waves of deep sleep but the slowing down isn't even EEG
measurements of brain waves suggest that your brain puts on the brakes faster in
the front than in the back and that means that the parts of the brain in
charge of vision or balance could be active for a bit longer which might
explain why so many hypnagogic hallucinations are visual or include
weird sensations like fallen and because your frontal cortex is snoozing during
this in-between state it can't help you sort out what's going on like it
normally does one of the most frightening things that can happen
during this drowsy low is hearing a loud exploding sound like a cymbal crash or
gunshot sometimes there's also a flash of light this is called exploding head
syndrome and while it doesn't hurt it can be so scary that it wakes people up
from their half-asleep State it's not clear whether this is just a specific
type of hypnagogic hallucination or whether it's something else some
neuroscientists consider it a sleep disorder and speculated might be from
tiny seizures or sudden bursts of electrical activity in the brain
unfortunately most people who have this problem aren't as bothered by it once
they find out that it's not a sign of something more serious like brain cancer
another thing that can happen during hypnagogia is the hypnic jerk or sleep
starts despite the name it's not a hip new dance trend it's an involuntary
twitches jerks are basically just muscle contractions it's kind of like a hiccup
and they're perfectly normal most of the time neuroscientists don't
really know what causes them but they could happen because of the way your
body switches over to being asleep when you're awake you're getting lots of
signals from a part of your brainstem known as the reticular activating system
but come bedtime a cluster of cells deep in the middle of the brain starts to
block these signals and bring on sleep while this setup makes for a pretty good
transition to dreamland it's not entirely seamless so hypnic jerks could
be glitches that arise during this process the twitches might be related to
some aspect of your hypnagogic hallucinations and they could wake you
up but most the time you don't notice a thing so while this not
what a week not quite a sleep state can be pretty freaky usually it just passes
you by which is probably good because you have to go through it every single
night and not everyone wants to be as surrealist as dali thanks for watching
this episode of scishow if you want to learn more about weird brain things we
have a whole channel called scishow psychology over at youtube.com slash

You Have One Week... - Duration: 5:31.
(Whoopsh!) Top of The Mornin to ya Laddies!!! My name is JackSepticeye, and if you remember a little while ago
I did something called #septicart, actually we did something called #septicart, where I
I came up with the idea to do some sort of event for artists online because I always see so many artists out there who
are drawing wonderful stuff all the time and then other people saying that they just they're having some sort of mental block or art block
where they
Can't draw or they don't want to draw so the septic art
event was a cool idea to try and get everybody to come together and do something for a week and then after a week I
Did a video showcasing some of that art. I wanted to do another one for a really long time
I even thought about doing a part two with the same art from before and I just never got around to doing it but
Since it's the last week of October and since inktober is the thing that's already going on inktober is
Kinda the same sort of initiative where artists come together for a month all of October
inktober and they draw stuff
Sometimes there's a theme around it sometimes
There's actually specific rules around and I think this year it was to do with physical art like pen to paper
kind of stuff for paints on paper or whatever
But I just want to do another septic art event so I thought it'd be a fun idea since it's the last week of October
To do another to do the hashtag except the #septicart meets #inktober and merge the two of them together
so our community can come together and draw some stuff and
People outside the community of course if they get wind of it they want to draw stuff, too
Cuz I just love all the art that goes around online
And it's sad to see some people with so much talent
And then they, they stop, they stop drawing or they stop creating just because they get inside their own heads
And they don't know what to do they don't have a focal point so these types of things are always cool and people
Really come out of the woodwork to start drawing and the last time we did one of these it was an absolute uproarious success
And I always want to try and give back and showcase more art and showcase more artists
Because it's one of the things that I always wish I could do. I wish I could contribute to these like
Inktober types of things or I wish I could just draw in general sorry for making noise, I'm rattling my spider-man bracelet
I've always wanted to kind of contribute to these things myself and because I can't draw I
Decided why not use the sort of influence that this channel has to showcase other people who can draw
And if you can't draw and you just want to contribute anyway by all means throw your hat into the, name?
Throw your name into the Hat. Just create. I love watching people create
I love watching people go out there and just like, I don't know, put their brain towards something and
Because people have like a focal point and they have a deadline and everything people really start to work harder
I think when they have that sort of drive in them so I want to do the same kind of thing again
Where in a week's time on Halloween or maybe before Halloween I don't know I'll see what happens
I'm gonna do another video where I showcase some of the art again and last time
I felt bad because I was recording the video and I recorded it for like an hour and a half
And I felt like it was going on too long, and I was there was too much in it or whatever
and then I by the end of it it ended up being a half hour long because of all the
Editing that was chopped out, so I felt like I didn't showcase enough art so this time
I want to try and make it a bit longer or try and get through art a bit more or maybe not dwell on them
A bit as long as I did. I just want everybody to have a fair shot and most times
I'm all about free rein when it comes to this stuff
I'm all about flexibility and people draw on whatever the hell they want but sometimes when it comes to things like this
That's worse for people because then it's too many options and people still don't know what to draw
So I think a focal point is needed and because it's inktober because it's Halloween because it's October
I think it's cool if we draw some Halloween themed stuff or horror themed stuff or dark themed stuff
just because that's really cool anyway, and I love I love seeing some of that and people have been drawn at all October already and
Sending me stuff, and I think it's really cool
So and I just love seeing the different styles
Because people all have their own specific unique style that they draw in
Some people might not think that they do but you can definitely see some people's personalities in the style that they're creating not just
drawings
But just little edits that they do here and there
You get a feel for what people are into for the styles that they prefer, so I just love that
I just love seeing people create. I love trying to I love I love giving people some motivation to create because lord knows
That's what I needed when I started off doing YouTube so if I can impart some of that on to some other people and give
Them something to work towards then ah that just makes my heart so full
So go out there. Create! Do whatever you want to do
If you hashtag it #septicart and #inktober I should be able to find it and then again in a week's time
I'll do a video where we showcase some of this, so let's have a fun week
Let's go out there and create some really cool shit also
It's nice to just be back and to have the community back and have everybody
Contributing towards something together again. I love this, I love doing YouTube
I love having a community here that we can all work together to create some cool stuff
So let's go out there and make a difference
For now Thank you guys So Much For Watching This Video If you Liked it, PUNCH THAT LIKE Button, IN THE FACE!!!!

What Would Happen If You Never Brushed Your Teeth? - Duration: 3:09.
Hey there!
Welcome to Life Noggin.
You know those nights where you're lying in bed and realize you forgot to brush your
teeth and you're like, "Do I really need to get up?"
Well, skipping one night wouldn't be the end of the world but what would happen if
you never brushed your teeth?
Like, ever?
Well, it's actually a lot worse than you think.
Mouths are dirty, dark, moist places, full of breeding bacteria.
In fact, one mouth can contain more bacteria than there are people on Earth!
When we brush our teeth, we're scrubbing away that excess bacteria, but also food particles
and plaque.
When we don't brush, all that gross stuff just continually builds up in our mouths.
Our immune systems go into overdrive to try to clear it all out but they can't.
And the consequences to not brushing at all could be much worse than the cavities or gingivitis
our dentists warn us about.
But before we get to that, let's start with the basics.
Plaque is a film that coats your teeth and feeds on leftover sugars in your mouth.
It produces an enamel-eating acid that gnaws away at your teeth, leaving holes known as
cavities.
Uncontrolled plaque can also cause inflammation of the gums, aka gingivitis, discolored teeth,
oral abscesses and horrible bad breath.
When bacteria really starts to build up, you increase your risk of developing something
called periodontitis, which is the erosion of tissue, gums and bone that support your
teeth.
The mouth just can't hold the teeth anymore so they fall out.
This is the leading cause of tooth loss and if you never brushed your teeth, you'd probably
have a lot less chompers than the rest of us.
Now this may seem like your run-of-the-mill dentist schpeil but this stuff can get serious.
The bacteria in your mouth is both good and bad, but things like MRSA and Staphylococcus
aureus can thrive in there.
And if you never brush your teeth, harmful bacteria like these can worm their way under
your gums and get access to your blood.
Yikes.
Poor oral care has been also linked to serious diseases such as heart disease, COPD, pneumonia,
and endocarditis, which is an infection of the inner lining of your heart chambers or
valves.
So if you're leaving your mouth to fend for itself, you'd better watch out for these
conditions.
A few controversial studies have also claimed to have found links between bad oral hygiene
and things like dementia and erectile dysfunction!
And remember how not brushing erodes areas of your mouth?
Studies have shown that those pockets may serve as reservoirs for HPV and cancer-causing
substances.
Thankfully now, we have modern toothbrushes and floss to protect our pearly whites, but
in ancient times, people chewed on twigs to clean their teeth, then scraped the surfaces
with the frayed end.[23]
Now, you can just push a button and a handheld machine will work its way around your mouth
so you barely have to lift a finger.
So easy, right?
Don't you want to go brush your teeth now?
I know I do.
What's the longest you've ever gone without brushing your teeth?
Let me know in the comments!

THIS MONSTER IS AWESOME! [The Evil Within 2] - Duration: 29:49.
Oh wow look I'm in space...
Ohh
Wow, I am inside your mom ... 's house
I'm such a genius. I set up this green screen right and I have not just double-layer green shirts

It's gonna look crazy. Whatever okay? Whatever. We're playing evil within
Can't even see anything cuz my mic is like
Clearly I didn't think through this setup
Whatever, okay?
Hey
You remember evil within it's made by legendary horror game maker Shinji Mikami
Who made the Resident Evil series and considering how good the?
Resident Evil 7 was I'm actually really excited about this one see see if that was kind of like catalyst
For the future of triple a horror games which have been so god-awful
For the past couple years. I have a sneeze coming
Home engulfed in flames try to fire kills child nanny. I remember the first game had the story of a like a
Spooky scientist. It's a crazy scientist wow what an original concept of the horror video game
I'm doing I'm doing I do look forward to play this game. I really do because I hear it's actually pretty good
Maybe a potential series you know
Chapter 1 begins
Hate when that happens
just come home from a stroll in the woods, and your house is on fire, but those pants, those pants are on fleek
Shizzle, Lily is in here
Family friendly still
Excuse me Lily
I'm gonna go ahead and say that Lily is done
Ok, I think the game wants me to go this way
"Dammit!"
How about that? I did it
Alright, here we go
Oh God!
Let me guess, she's going to die and therefore the horror character
She just serves as a purpose to make the character have some sort of story how did this happen?

I can't sprint, but whatever
I don't really know where to go though here. Here? Aw no, that's not gonna do it

Oh my god, she's already dead
Punch her! Literally kick her, she's a devil
It's a trap, it's a fake one
My god
That's pretty cool, I guess
like the classic
storytelling of a guy having guilt
When it clearly wasn't his fault to begin with, but they always have it
Oh, I feel so guilty about this one thing it really haunts me. Great!
Clearly we all saw that it wasn't your fault. It happens all the time in movies. I'm so sick of that way of storytelling
Why am I so critic Jesus Christ what has happened to me.
No, he still feels guilty.
Moebius? Oh my god, did you guys hear did you guys hear? He said Mobius!
wha-
It's the-
Hey now, sit

Hello, mina-san. It's a pewdiepie desu
Is that all he does?

Your Face Could Be Recreated From DNA: Should You Worry? - Duration: 3:02.
Could we take a sample of your DNA and predict what your face looks like?
Maaaayyyyybe?
Maybe.
… Okay yes, but also not really.
Craig Venter, a pioneer in human genetic research and sequencing recently co-authored a paper
saying if someone got your DNA, they could use it to reveal your face.
In the paper, they sequenced the genomes of over a thousand people, and captured a bunch
of metadata.
They fed this into an algorithm.
The program compared all the metadata to the DNA, looking for small differences, and matching
features.
This paper argues we should be concerned about storing DNA on publically accessible databases
for the sake of privacy.
They say, if compromised, someone could pick out your face armed only with your DNA.
Obviously, if true, this is pretty freaky.
Especially when combined with another creepy project from 2013.
A New York artist took cigarette butts, hair, and other discarded items, pulled DNA off
of them, sequenced that DNA, and performed facial reconstruction.
The idea being, this face could be the person who dropped the DNA.
The artist told CNN, she could reveal possible "ancestors…, gender, eye color, hair color,
complexion, freckles, their tendency to be overweight and a handful of dimensions of
the face."
Put together, I'd understand if you're skeeved.
This is a march toward GATTACA…Buuuut there are still limitations.
The artist says, these are "general likenesses," not portraits.
And, Venter's algorithm matched a diverse group to their DNA 80-percent of the time,
but only half the time when they were all one ethnicity.
Critics of Venter's paper say the numbers aren't good enough to justify any concern,
and one of the paper's co-authors even said it misrepresented their data.
In the end, we only sequenced the human genome in 2003, so there's a lot to learn.
Projects like these remind us of the sheer amount of data we're throwing away, every
day, about ourselves, in stray hairs, skin cells caught in lip prints, and so many other
places.
So, can we reconstruct your face?
No.
But soon we may be able to match it with an algorithm, based on a hair you left in a subway
station.
Till then, more research and probably laws are needed.
After all that… you might be interested in starting your a private DNA vault business

How Often Do You Really Need to Shower? - Duration: 2:40.
Nothing really beats a steamy shower to relax after a hard workout.
And good hygiene is how we protect ourselves from infections, and the social stigma of
being smelly.
But do you really need a daily shower to stay clean, or is it doing more harm than good?
It turns out, there aren't any definite rules, but some scientists have recommendations
based on what we know about the biology of our skin — and what might be living on top of it.
Your skin is a giant organ that physically blocks harmful stuff from getting inside your body.
It's covered in a bustling community of bacteria, fungi, viruses, and even teeny-tiny arthropods.
They make up what's known as your skin microbiome.
For the most part, researchers think that these microbes you carry with you are pretty harmless.
But as you interact with the world, you can pick up other microbes that could make you sick.
And when you, like, rub your eyes or put food in your mouth, your hands can help those germs
slip past your skin and get into your body.
That's why washing your hands with soap is so important, especially if you work in
medicine or food service.
See, soap is a surfactant, which means it's made of molecules that can bind to water and
things like dirt, oils, or bacteria.
This lets you rinse all that junk away.
And fewer germs means a lower chance of infections.
But what about washing the rest of your body?
Well, your skin has glands that are always producing sweat and oils, which cools you
down and keeps your skin moisturized and healthy.
But there's a fine balance.
Certain bacteria break down sweat, and release smelly molecules like thioalcohols.
And if your skin has too much dirt, dead skin cells, or oils, your pores can get clogged,
leading to problems like acne.
So showering with soap can help get rid of some sweat and oil, to manage your looks and smell.
And in some cases, like the night before a surgery, a doctor might tell you to shower
with an antimicrobial soap, which has extra chemicals to kill microbes.
If a surgeon is making cuts in your skin, they don't want any potentially dangerous
stuff sneaking in.
On the other hand, showering too often might not be great for you either.
For one, it can mess with the microbes that naturally live on your skin.
And since soap and water wash away oils, your skin might get too dry so the outer layer
cracks, making it easier for disease-causing microbes to slip into your body.
So dermatologists seem to say that daily showers where you scrub everywhere with soap is probably
overkill, unless you sweat a lot, like people who work out every day.
Otherwise, showering every couple of days should be just fine, to keep your skin microbiome
healthy and happy.

Can YOU Survive FNAF IRL? | Free Episode Game Lab FNAF - Duration: 22:57.
Warning this episode contains bright flashing lights in order to increase the spoopiness levels. Consider yourself warned.
I'm Matpat
And this is Game Lab!
For the last five years I've made a name for myself over analyzing video games using real-world science and math.
But now I'm taking it to the next level by throwing some of the world's most popular
gamers into the
scenarios we played through every day. Will the games stack up to reality? And are gamers as good in real life as they are on
screen?
Welcome to Game Lab
So you might be asking yourself "why am I sitting here in this creepy recreation of a restaurant?"
It's a good question
Today we're exploring the world of fear through
Animatronic survival restaurant horror gaming. Oh yeah, it's a real thing. Let's talk about that, shall we?
Way way back in 2014 Five Nights at Freddy's came out
A restaurant survival horror game that totally transformed the gaming world.
In Five Nights at Freddy's you play as an overnight security guard trapped in a restaurant with animal themed animatronics that come to life trying to kill you.
Seems crazy that this would be popular, right? And yet, for all you non-gamers watching,
first off welcome to the show
Let me impress upon you the scale of this thing five nights at freddy's in less than two years
Has five games a movie deal book deal merchandise lines and a sixth installment in the works
And it has spawned literally hundreds of fan made spin-off titles
Hundreds when I say that this was a big deal online. This was a big deal today
We're talking about one of those fan made games five nights at candy's
Which puts our security guard in a haunted burger joint as homicidal robot cats penguins and whatever this guy is come to hunt you down
I'm sure you'll still see some cameos from five nights at Freddy's characters in there too since those guys can't be contained the restaurants generators
Are running low on juice and the clock is ticking, so I don't know about you, but I'm prepared to get spoopy
So I've invited three people who when it comes to horror themed things
I think are gonna be perfect for today's challenge, so here. We go Trisha is gonna
Pee her pants when she sees what we have in store for her come on in guys
Thank you so much for volunteering for this Vernon
Sir I couldn't do a creepy episode of how you went red. I'm here for you
I appreciate it if we're able to scare you by the end of the day I think
Achievement unlocks right Trisha you don't scare easily
Do you well I don't scare easily because I usually avoid her situations at all cost okay? How do you feel about more games?
I think I'm
medium spicy in terms of
We've got we've got low spice medium spice and high spice I was excited for today's episode
I've told you guys this let me tell these guys. I was excited because
It's it's five nights at candy's. This is gonna be fun and then cute horror
oh No
because I found out that our expert for the day is the
Co-creator of The Blackout series of haunted houses which are you guys you guys?
For you guys who don't know they are notorious for being some of the most extreme
Brutally realistic haunted houses on the market today, and so that's who designed today's challenge for us
Thank you so much for joining us today
Thanking you or or not. We'll find out soon, so so Josh as co-creator of blackout
Can you tell me a little bit about like what happens inside of these horror experiences sure you know we've done
Many many shows over the last six years you might have read some stuff about
waterboarding all the way down to nudity you do have to be over 18 to go through the experience and
Also, like this you will have to just sign a waiver before as well
So do I have to be worried about like naked animatronics today? Who's been reading my tumblr?
No one's been reading your tumblr off down
Okay, crazy physical impairments. We should know about I've heard tell of your weekend. I have weak ankles. I fall down sometime legendary
Oh, we do have a medic on site today. Just in case just in case we need anything. I'm prone to fear poops
We'll keep that in mind. I think we should just get started. Oh and frankly I
Think you go first. Oh no mild spice. Oh
How about you follow me? Yeah, this I'm not scared at all. Oh my god, okay, Jackson
Was the last we ever heard from Trisha?
Oh
Hello, and welcome to your five nights at candy's or a challenge because nothing says Tara quiet like robots and animals roaming around
But there are a few differences first you're not staying here for six hours
One solid hour in the dark well not alone
exactly that meter on the desk monitors how much energy the room has using things like light doors and cameras uses that power up and
Let it run out the doors will be stuck open at that point
Sometimes go offline.
You know that were actually on the door. Yeah, you gotta get up, and push those suckers. Did you think they were for decoration?
Oh and speaking of feel free to vote you can even leave the room if you want this isn't Oh game after all Oh?
What okay cameras I'm gonna need you to freaking work right now
Okay, okay boy look at you
You're still there I see you who are sewn up there
Okay I
Hate that there's two doors why can't there just be one oh no oh
no you
in the party room
Okay, I see you over there I
See you over there you creepy creepy oh you're both gonna come at me at the same time aren't you oh?
That's not okay
You're still there. That's great
You go away
Okay
Gone
okay, I
Like how you're over there, just like tricking me cat
My flight is gonna. Be gone so fast all right. It's almost three o'clock
Hey
Hey there, oh
There goes all my light great
Is really bad
Oh my god
No, okay
Like this. I don't like scary things
Okay, cool cool
There we go
Okay
Hey there the bear
hats all right
Oh
My god oh I saw him
Okay
But almost scared me, but didn't okay, Oh
God like a power since right now
But I don't have a lot of battery left
Okay, can I get him oh my god?
Nice
Real nice try
Hold up, I got an idea we're gonna save a little bit of energy try using this guy yeah get out of here
1 a.m.. Is a good time. My name's a good time
Ok so still in your sexy little position alright oh
Stop
They can leave now, please Oh light went out
Cool I'm just gonna leave that closed ah Eric good
Hey
Yeah, you robot on out of here
Battery's almost dead
Here I'll help
And what have I got myself into okay?
Switch switch
Okay, okay, okay
Okay, I see him stay with me camera stay with me so they can enter through this way and through that way
This is the only way through this door okay?
Right okay, oh
Okay, he's coming up he's coming up. Hey Fred. Hey Fred
Hey, I see you coming up to me, it's fine come on yeah, I see you
Come on up in my face, I know this game this game is ruin my life. We got this
Serious okay, so you're there, please leave, please leave
One two three god. You are the worst you're still there hey
There we go get up there Paul K who still got one door drop left, huh?
Okay
Just I I exist in darkness here. We go. I see you coming. I see you're coming back right
Huh all right and using an and he's gone oh
great
Okay, five o'clock five o'clock
oh
Yeah, of course you're only helping me guys, you're only helping me
My night vision is only getting better
I'm gonna earn my overtime security guard to the air oh
Okay, okay, okay, okay real good real good star anything back in this room with me. Oh no
No, you don't know no power. Okay. Flash. Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye
Wasn't what you guys expected. Yeah, no I expected to win I was so close
Are you kidding I had eight minutes left
But it's really interesting had I actually decided to run out of the room in the opposite direction of the animatronics
I would have survived because I was so fixated. I'm like this is my safe space. This is my area
Yeah, I didn't actually do it
How did everybody do
Have fun. Yeah, we had fun were you watching us. I was watching I was actually taking some notes
Oh, my goodness. You actually stayed in the longest you made it til 552
Which is pretty good Vernon made it safe boys
Made it you you died at 3:40
Followed by Trish who say you died at 3:18
Unfortunately at the end when you died at 300
Misconception I chose to die
It was my decision battery's almost dead
Here
Why?
Because I was completely out of control. I knew that the end was near and I said if I'm gonna go out
It's gonna be by my doing not theirs Wow that's it
Not make it less mentally terrifying for you to think like I have some control over this
No, so I'm curious since we didn't get to see each other go like what were your strategies for coping were you scared how did?
you handle like
All the things good dance going I was like I was sort of like up like checking things booty out
What's over there? What's over there? What's over there over there cool and like just scare the animatronics away
That was my strategy didn't work my entire long-term strategy for this was to teach the robots how to love
It's good. What about you?
Yeah, my strategy because when I'm playing horror games especially or in kind of haunted house situation
I tend to freak out buckle under pressure and just either like button mash or somehow cause my own demise and so I was determined
Not to do that today
and so I went in thinking if I just
focus on the game like on the strategy points of the game
Check my cameras check my cameras use my life check my cameras use my lights like if I can focus on that I can
try to
Temporarily forget that these things are coming to get me that's when power dropped and I only had the flashlight that was the one moment
where I was like this is it I'm terrified I couldn't even find the button to turn on the flashlight like I'm freaking out I
Want you to know that we were all sitting in a room where we could only hear you scream
There was like a moment when you just lost it
We're like okay this is
Vernon I would like you to know that we were kept in a room separate where all we could do was hear you scream
Yeah, can you scream louder than Trisha?
Thank you, I would like all women who watching this to know that I'm a very sensitive, man
But I feel like I was tough enough to do this
He's a tender guy tough tough pretenders. No. I like Ted if you want poor resource management. This is the guy for you
Rob clearly as holding up a solid fourth place yeah
Where did it go wrong? It didn't I don't know why you would assume such that was your intent dole done
There's a little thing called analysis paralysis
Where if you try to focus on too many things at once it screws you off more than anything
So I tried to focus on the two primary things I had focus on which we're the hallway so you can see if you long
As you just keep going like this you'll see them the cameras are helpful when you close the door
And you can see if they're still out there
But looking at them any other way
Is just kind of a waste of time and you're kind of taking your attention off and that's kind of what they're waiting for
Yeah, so and then and fourth-place came in where I just said okay?
I've made my point
Everyone's smarter now because I'm here and now it's time for me to go and just pass a lot well to me
Knowing that battery power was the big limiting factor in a lot of this a little bit so my strategy ended up being wait for
Them to get as close to the door as possible before you slam it shut
So it was a lot about like facing the fear head-on
I mean it was amazing to watch you guys all go through and everybody sort of deals with it in their own way
and yeah
So symbolic of how you know when you're watching people go through a haunted house everybody brings something else to the table fear is subjective
Everybody responds differently to fear some people laugh some people cry some people piss their pants some people faint
Pooping throw into the mix there without a doubt so why are so many people scared of like chuck-e-cheese and animatronics?
Why are people scared of the things that they're scared? It's it's a it's such a good question
I don't entirely have an answer
I mean I have a thought as to what I'd say you have a theory I have a theory a theory
The biggest fear is the fear of the unknown?
It sort of taps into what we were afraid of his children, and we didn't understand that electronic probably of kids
and we probably couldn't understand why this giant animal was alive and talking to us and
And trying to play with us, and so maybe that fear of the unknown
It's your mind out of the gutter, Trisha you in my experience
Specifically with blackout. It's all psychological
Nothing, I could put in the room is gonna scare you as much as whatever you're thinking in your head
So let's wrap things up here when it comes to knack and actual real-life fear responses. I think this was really interesting because first off
Everyone makes fun of these games because all you're a security guard who's trapped in a single room and can't leave
But what I myself experienced was hey that was my safe spot
and I was scared to leave that room even when I knew that all the other animatronics were coming into my
Fight-or-flight response was hide in a corner
Hide in a corner in the room where they're attacking you
It's like the biggest
Horror movie cliche and yet it proved to be true when I was faced with that situation in real life one of the things that
You don't really experience in the game, but you do in real life
Is that the animatronics you see them coming at you sure there are certain corners that are tighter than others?
But for the most part you have enough reaction time to shut a door or flashlight or run the heck in the other direction on
One hand it works in your favor because you see the horror coming at you and like we've been discussing once you see the monster
You kind of what the danger is you know how fast it's coming towards
you know what sort of harm it might present you so you become better prepared as a result but on the other side as
You see it approaching you you feel the pressure increasing and all of a sudden. It's okay
I gotta flick it right now. Which is a really interesting feeling so there you go
That's something that because of the nature of these games. You don't experience, but in real life. It's a mechanic that exists
I think it's time
I think it's time we celebrate this birthday party
There it is. I have never used one of these things before
I think the biggest lesson of today is that the true horrors is silly string?
You kidding me
It won't open light like in the game there you can't open the empanada Thanks

There's Something I Never Told You - Duration: 6:26.
There's something I never told you.
But how do I tell you? How do I tell you something is wrong with me?
How do I tell you I have depression, that I deal with it every day?
That I have been for years?
It's so hard to explain depression to someone who doesn't deal with it. It's not something you just get over.
You can't just will yourself to be happy.
I wish people would stop saying that.
Imagine having a rain cloud over your head, all day, every day.
Imagine not being able to find joy in anything.
Imagine waking up every day feeling anxious and not being able to explain why.
I wish I could control it.
I've tried everything.
I've watched the motivational speeches. I've read thousands of positive quotes.
I've even tried the whole daily affirmations thing as if I could convince myself, am happy
Honestly, sometimes it works.. for a bit
But it always feels temporary, like I know exactly where I'm going to end up again. It feels like it gets worse all the time.
Like a downward spiral that's impossible to escape.
It's kind of like I'm treading on water, but my arms are getting really tired, and I don't know how much longer I'll be able to swim for.
All you see is the outside, the surface.
Because that's all that I allow you to see.
I don't want you to see this side of me.
The side of me that is me, but isn't me all at the same time.
I really feel like the real me is happy. I know it's inside me, but it's like I'm being weighed down by these thoughts.
Sucking the happiness out of everything.
I have so much to be thankful for and I know I'm supposed to be grateful for everything I have,
But it's like there's something preventing me from enjoying it.
Enjoying life.
I feel guilty, guilty that I can't appreciate anything.
Guilty that I keep putting my problems on my family and friends.
I'm Guilty that I'm always angry.
Angry at life, I guess. I never thought this would be me.
I used to be so happy, but something changed.
The things that have happened to me, the mistakes I've made.
Why do I replay them over and over in my head like they just happened? Torturing myself.
What if I told you all this?
What would you think of me? Would you judge me?
Would you abandon me because you see the real me instead of the facade of happiness you're used to seeing everyday online?
Am I alone in this? Am I the only one who feels like this?
I can't be, but if that's true, why doesn't anyone else speak up above their own depression?
All I ever see online are people smiling all the time.
Nobody ever says they're depressed.
Is it all a show for views and likes?
Or is it all real, and I'm the only one who suffers like this?
Maybe I am alone.
Or maybe there's a stigma.
All I know is I can't do this anymore.
Something's got to change.
It's time to call it what it is: depression. And it's real.
It's not just a series of weeks turned into months turned into years.
This is not something I will just get over.
I can't do this on my own.
I need help.
Therapy, a psychologist, or even medication.
Something.
I know there's no shame in getting help, hell,
I've spoken so openly about the importance of mental health and the awareness of non social medias so many times.
But the truth is, I'm a hypocrite.
Because despite the campaign's and posts and retweets,
I've never taken care of my own mental health.
So it's time that I talk openly about this about my own struggles. The world needs to know the truth.
Because maybe there is someone else out there that suffers like I do.
Someone else who feels hopeless like I do.
Who might find comfort that they're not alone. Who might be inspired to finally get help.
I have to try.
So today it begins, and it starts with this video.
It's time I admit I've gotten comfortable feeling this way. I'm so used to feeling down that it seems normal.
It's what I'm used to, but no more.
I'm going to go to therapy and whatever it takes because I know it's worth trying.
I'm going to seek real help because whatever it leads to has to be better than this.
I'm not going to feel guilty or ashamed anymore.
I'm going to pick myself up and do something about this.
Depression is no longer going to run my life,
Dictating my decisions.
Today I'm taking back control. I'm taking back my life.
So now you know. I don't know what happens from here, but I know this is the right first step.
So the only question left is,
Am I alone?
No you aren't, Matt. You're not alone. I and other true fans, friends and family will support you through all the hard times.
We will all enjoy the good times.
Good luck, Matt.

Republican: Emergency Rooms Shouldn't Treat Everyone - Duration: 6:41.
A GOP LAWMAKER THINKS IT'S A BAD IDEA THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO GET
TREATED IF THEY GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM.
IN FACT, SHE
THINKS THAT WE COULD SAVE DOCTORS IN THIS WHOLE HEALTHCARE
SYSTEM A LOT OF MONEY IF WE DIDN'T HAVE TO TREAT EVERYONE
THE SHUTTLE TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM.
THIS IS REPRESENTATIVE
DIANE BLACK.
SHE IS IN TENNESSEE AND SHE WAS SPEAKING
TO CHUCK TODD ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND I WANT YOU TO HEAR FROM
HER AND WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY.
TAKE A LOOK THAT.
YOU ARE BEING FORCED INTO FIGURING OUT HOW TO
SUBSIDIZE THAT FREE HEALTHCARE THAT NOBODY PAYS FOR AT THE
EMERGENCY ROOM DOCTOR.
LET ME TELL YOU, CHUCK THAT I AM AN EMERGENCY ROOM NURSE.
THEIR PEOPLE CAME INTO MY EMERGENCY ROOM THAT I, THE NURSE
WAS THE FIRST ONE TO SEE THEM THAT I COULD'VE SENT THEM TO A
WALK-IN CLINIC OR THEIR DOCTOR THE NEXT DAY BUT BECAUSE OF A
LAW THAT CONGRESS PUT INTO PLACE TO SAY NO, I HAVE TO TREAT
EVERYONE THAT WALKS INTO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, YOU TOOK AWAY
OUR ABILITY TO SAY NO.
AN EMERGENCY ROOM IS NOT THE
PROPER PLACE.
AND THEN HE PUT A BURDEN ON TOP OF THAT TO SAY YOU MUST DO THAT.
AND YOU WOULD GET RID OF THE LAW THAT MANDATES EMERGENCY
ROOMS TO SEE EVERY PATIENT THAT SHOWS UP.
I WOULD GET RID OF A LAW THAT SAYS YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED AS
A HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL TO MAKE THAT DECISION ABOUT
WHETHER SOMEONE CAN BE APPROPRIATELY TREATED THE
NEXT DAY OR AT A WALK-IN CLINIC OR AT THEIR DOCTOR.
SO I ACTUALLY THINK THAT IF ALL YOU HEARD WAS THAT YOU MIGHT
WALK AWAY THINKING, THAT SEEMS REASONABLE.
THAT IS A PERSON
WHO PRACTICED THIS AS A NURSE AND KNOWS WHAT IT IS AND SHE
SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE HER JUDGMENT AND IF SOMEBODY
CAME IN WITH THE FLU YOU COULD SAY HEY, YOU KNOW WHAT?
COME TO THE CLINIC TOMORROW INSTEAD OF TAKING UP SPACE IN
THE EMERGENCY ROOM.
BUT THAT'S IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE HISTORY OF
IT AND AS A CONGRESSWOMAN NOW RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR, SHE SHOULD
KNOW IT A LITTLE BIT BETTER AND THE CONSEQUENCES THAT COULD FLOW
FROM IT.
THE PERSON WHO ACTUALLY SIGNED THE LAW INTO THE
EFFECT WAS A WELL-KNOWN LIBERAL NAMED RONALD REAGAN.
IT WAS THE
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT AND ACTIVE LABOR ACT.
I'M GOING TO
PSYCHOACTIVE LABOR IN THE SECOND BUT THE REASON THEY DID IT IS
BECAUSE BACK IN THE DAY HOSPITALS WOULD DO WITH A CALLED
PATIENT DUMPING.
SOMEONE WALKING TO THE HOSPITAL AND THEY
WOULD GO HE DOESN'T HAVE INSURANCE AND IT IS GOING TO
COST A LOT AND THEY WOULD JUST REFUSE TO TREAT HIM AND THEY
WOULD EITHER JUST DRIVE THEM OUT TO THE STREET AND SAY GOODBYE
AND GOOD LUCK OR THEY WOULD MAKE IT THIS DIFFERENT HOSPITAL TAKE
THEM AND THEY KEPT DOING THIS PATIENT DUMPING TO THE POINT
THAT CONGRESS HAD TO PASS THE LAW AND REAGAN SIGNED INTO
EFFECT.
SO BEFORE YOU GO RUNNING AROUND TALKING ABOUT,
THEY TOOK MY FREEDOM AWAY TO DENY YOU HEALTHCARE.
LOOK INTO
IT A LITTLE BIT AND FIND OUT, NORMALLY I THINK OF THE LAWS
OUTRAGEOUS, THERE MUST'VE BEEN A GOOD REASON FOR THAT MAYBE AT
SOME POINT, LET ME FIND OUT WHY DOTS AND SHE DIDN'T OF COURSE DO
THAT AND ACTIVE LABOR PART IS BECAUSE WOMEN WOULD, IN PREGNANT
IN THE MIDDLE OF LABOR AND HOSPITALS WOULD DUMP THEM ANYWAY
IF THEY DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE AND SO THAT IS WHY EVEN THE
PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT WAS LIKE THAT IS A FETUS.
THAT IS THE ONE
THING WE CARE ABOUT.
AND YOU ARE SENDING THEM AWAY IN THE MIDDLE OF LABOR?
THAT CAN COST OR MEND HIS PROBLEM SO THAT IS WHERE
THEY PASS THE LAWN THE FIRST PLACE.
THAT IS WHY THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
YOU ARE GIVING HER THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT IN SAYING
THAT MAYBE SHE DOESN'T KNOW THE HISTORY OF WHY THIS LAW WASN'T
ACTED IN THE FIRST PLACE, BUT I THINK EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY
SOMEONE WHO'S A CURRENT LAWMAKER KNOWS THAT EMERGENCY ROOM'S END
UP SERVING AS A LAST RESORT FOR THE POOR WHO HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE
TO PROVIDE OR PAY FOR HEALTHCARE, WHO HAVEN'T HAD
ACCESS TO HEALTH INSURANCE AND SO THEIR HEALTH CONDITIONS GET
SO BAD THAT THEY END UP IN EMERGENCY ROOMS.
YEAH, THEY
SHOULD BE SEEN BY DOCTORS IF THEY SHOW UP TO THE EMERGENCY
ROOM AND LOOK, MAYBE I AM TOO REAL AND MAYBE I SEE THE DARK
SIDE OF HUMANITY A LITTLE TOO MUCH BUT I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO
BE THE ARBITER OF WHETHER OR NOT SOMEONE DESERVES CARE THAT
MOMENT.
SO SHE BRINGS UP SOMEONE WHO HAS A SORE THROAT
FOR A WEEK OR SOMEONE WHOM I HAVE THE FLU BUT I AM NOT BUYING
FOR A SECOND THAT THOSE ARE THE ONLY INDIVIDUALS THAT WOULD BE
TURNED AWAY.
WE ALL KNOW THAT MORE PEOPLE WOULD BE TURNED AWAY
FOR MORE SERIOUS CONDITIONS AND SOMETIMES YOU GO TO THE
EMERGENCY ROOM NOT KNOWING WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU AND MAYBE
THE SYMPTOMS DON'T SEEM THAT SERIOUS TO THE PERSON YOU ARE
DESCRIBING IT TO THAT IT MIGHT END UP BEING SOMETHING
INCREDIBLY SERIOUS.
WHAT IF YOU JUST GOT HIT IN THE HEAD AND YOU ARE WORRIED
THAT YOU'RE GOING TO SUFFER A CONCUSSION?
THESE ARE THINGS YOU SHOULD BE TREATED FOR AND SO WHEN YOU KNOW
THE HISTORY AND WHEN YOU KNOW THAT DEMOGRAPHIC THAT TYPICALLY
ENDS UP IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM, YOU UNDERSTAND WHY THAT LAW
WASN'T ACTED IN THE FIRST PLACE BUT BY THE WAY, ANOTHER THING I
WANTED TO STAY IS THAT IF YOU ARE A HOSPITAL THAT IS NOT
RECEIVING ANY MEDICARE FUNDS, YOU CAN TURN PEOPLE AWAY.
IT IS
TO SIT IF YOU ARE RECEIVING TAXPAYER MONEY, YOU CAN'T DO IT.
YOU CAN'T TURN IT AWAY.
SO IF YOU ARE GENUINELY AGAINST THIS
TYPE OF LAW AND YOU DON'T WANT TO ABIDE BY IT THEN STOP
RECEIVING MEDICARE MONEY AND THEN HE CAN GO AHEAD AND
PATIENT.
AS MUCH AS YOU WANT.
HERE IN LA AND OUR HEALTHCARE
PLAN WE HAVE URGENT CARE AS OPPOSED TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM.
IS FOR LIGHTER STUFF THAT HAPPENS TO YOU AND I LOVE IT
BECAUSE EVERYBODY OF COURSE KNOWS THE LINES IN THE EMERGENCY
ROOM.
IT'S A REAL HASSLE.
WE KNOW THAT THAT IS A REAL ISSUE
SO URGENT CARE HAS COME UP NOW AND THAT'S MUCH BETTER IN THE
SYSTEM.
SO WE'RE NOT SAYING THAT THE LINES IN THE EMERGENCY
ROOM ARE NOT AN ISSUE BUT REMEMBER, IT'S NOT LIKE THE
TREATMENT REQUIRES YOU TO TAKE SEVEN HOURS WITH THE PERSON.
THEY JUST HAVE A SORE THROAT AND THEY SAT THERE WHATEVER THEY HAD
TO SIT THROUGH AND THEY GOT TO YOU SAY OKAY IS A BILL FOR YOUR
THROAT AND WE'RE DONE WITH IT.
IT'S NOT LIKE YOU ARE MANDATED
TO DO ANYTHING ELSE.
IN FACT, IT WOULD PROBABLY TAKE YOU
ALMOST THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME TO DISMISS THAT.
BECAUSE HOW DO
YOU KNOW IF THEY HAVE A SORE THROAT OR THEY DON'T.
WHICH LEADS TO THE STORY OF MINE WHICH IS PRETTY TRAGIC.
REALLY
GOOD FRIEND OF MINE.
FATHER OF HIS WAS IN TURKEY AND EXISTENCE
OF WHAT COULD GO WRONG.
HIS FATHER WAS INVOLVED IN AN
ACCIDENT AND THE DOCTORS LOOKED AT HIM AND THOUGHT HE WAS FINE.
IT TURNS OUT THEY WERE NEGLIGENT.
HE WASN'T FINE.
HE HAD INTERNAL BLEEDING AND HE DIED.
SO THAT IS WHY, WHEN YOU
GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM YES, SOMEONE SHOULD TAKE A COUPLE
MINUTES OUT TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE OKAY AND NOT DUMP YOU ON THE
STREETS AND GO I AM USING MY GOOD JUDGMENT TO MAKE SURE I
DON'T TREAT YOU.
THAT IS NOT THE KIND OF COUNTRY WE SHOULD
BE.

Congressional Pharmacist Spills SHOCKING Secret - Duration: 6:12.
>>FOR A NUMBER OF DECADES MEMBERS OF CONGRESS HAVE HAD
ACCESS TO A LITTLE-KNOWN CLINIC AND PHARMACY RIGHT NEXT TO THE
HOUSE OF REP IS AND IF THAT IS RUN THROUGH A MEMBERSHIP
PROGRAM.
THROUGH THIS CLINIC THEY CAN GAIN EASY ACCESS TO
DRUGS VERY CLOSE TO THEIR PLACE OF WORK WITHOUT FOR THE MOST
PART HAVING TO DEAL WITH REGULAR PEOPLE OR HAVE IT BE CLEAR THAT
THEY ARE GOING FOR THESE DRUGS OR THINGS LIKE THAT.
THIS BY
ITSELF IS NOT NECESSARILY ALL THAT IMPORTANT OR INTERESTING,
BUT RECENTLY THE PHARMACIST AT THAT LITTLE PHARMACY HAS COME
OUT AND TALKED ABOUT SOME OF THE PRESCRIPTIONS HE HAS BEEN
GIVING, WITHOUT BEING TOO SPECIFIC.
WE WANT TO GIVE YOU
INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLINIC AND ALSO THE CONSEQUENCES,
LEGISLATIVELY, COMING OUT OF THE CLINIC --
>> >> FOR A NUMBER OF DECADES NOW
MEMBERS OF CONGRESS HAVE HAD
ACCESS TO A LITTLE-KNOWN CLINIC AND PHARMACY VERY CLOSE TO THE
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES THAT IS RUN THROUGH A MEMBERSHIP
PROGRAM.
THROUGH THIS CLINIC THEY CAN GAIN EASY ACCESS TO DRUGS, VERY
CLOSE TO THEIR PLACE OF WORK, WITHOUT HAVING TO DEAL WITH
REGULAR PEOPLE AND THINGS LIKE THAT.
THIS BY ITSELF IS NOT NECESSARILY ALL THAT
IMPORTANT IMPORTANT OR INTERESTING.
BUT RECENTLY THE PHARMACIST AT THAT LITTLE PHARMACY HAS
COME OUT AND TALKED A LITTLE BIT ABOUT SOME OF THE
PRESCRIPTIONS THAT HE HAS BEEN GIVEN.
WITHOUT BEING TOO SPECIFIC ñ YOU WANT TO HAVE A VERY CLOSE IN
CASE THERE IS A PROBLEM.
IT MAKES SENSE AT THAT POINT THAT THEY HAD IT.
IT MAKES LESS SENSE NOW WHEN THERE IS A CVS ON EVERY CORNER.
NOW THERE ARE MANY PRESCRIPTIONS THAT A PERSON CAN GET.
THE AVERAGE AMERICAN DIET IS TREMENDOUS, SO IT IS OUR
NATURAL DESTINY THAT WE WOULD END UP ON VARIOUS FORMS OF
DRUGS AT SOME POINT IN OUR LIFE.
BUT THERE ARE WAYS THAT MAKE YOU STOP AND MAKE YOU THINK A
LITTLE BIT.
THIS IS MIKE KIM, THE PHARMACIST TALKING ABOUT HIS EXPERIENCES.
>> MIKE KIMIS DEFINITELY GOING TO GET IN TROUBLE.
>>YEAH,
MAYBE HE HASN'T BROKEN THE LAW BUT I WOULD TAKE A VACATION.
>> I'M NOT CONCERNED THAT HE BROKE THE LAW ñ HE DIDN'T SAY
REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT.
THE ONE EXAMPLE HE GAVE WAS NOT RELATED TO ANY ALZHEIMER'S,
HE GAVE THE EXAMPLE OF JOHN CAREY WHO IS A DEMOCRAT.
HE SAID HE CAME IN THE DAY AFTER HE LOST THE ELECTION.
ISN'T THAT AMAZING, THAT GUY COULD'VE BEEN THE PRESIDENT
OF THE UNITED STATES.
THE NEXT DAY HE IS A SCHLEP WAITING IN LINE FOR HIS
DRUGS AT THE PHARMACY.
I LOVE THAT ABOUT AMERICA.
I WISH THAT WOULD HAPPEN MORE.
IT IS NOT POLITICAL IN THAT SENSE, NOR DO I THINK IT IS
A VIOLATION OF LAW.
BUT I JUST FEEL BAD FOR HIM.
>> SO I ORIGINALLY SAW THIS ñ THE COMMENTS WERE ALMOST
UNIVERSALLY APPARENTLY CONSERVATIVE.
THAT IS WHAT YOU'RE SCARED OF, THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO POWER OR
ABILITY TO ENACT THE LAW?
WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE THAT ARE
ACTUALLY PASSING THE BILLS?
I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO NAME NAMES BUT
LET'S THINK BACK TO SOME POLITICAL EVENTS OF THIS YEAR,
WHERE THERE ANY REPUBLICANS WHO HAD WEIRD DIFFICULTIES
EXPRESSING THEMSELVES AND REMEMBERING THINGS?
I'M JUST
SAYING.
YOU HEAR ALZHEIMER'S ñ MY GRANDFATHER ACTUALLY IS
PRETTY DEEP IN ALZHEIMER'S AT THIS POINT.
IS A VERY DEBILITATING AND SAD CONDITION THAT AFFECTS A
LOT OF AMERICANS.
BUT WE DON'T KNOW THAT THEY ARE AT THE DEEP END.
MAYBE THEY ARE JUST AT THE VERY BEGINNING.
I LOOKED UP THE EARLY STAGES OF ALZHEIMER'S, HERE ARE SOME
OF THE EFFECTS IT HAS.
PROBLEMS COMING UP WITH THE RIGHT WORD OR NAME, FIND.
TROUBLE REMEMBERING NAMES, CHALLENGES PERFORMING TASKS IN
SOCIAL OR WORK SETTINGS, FORGETTING MATERIAL THAT ONE HAS
READ, LOSING OR MISPLACING OBJECTS, INCREASING TROUBLE
WITH PLANNING OR ORGANIZING.
THOSE ARE THINGS, IT DOES NOT TAKE A BIG LEAP OF LOGIC TO
LEARN HOW THAT AFFECTS A PERSON.
REALLY FAST, AS JAYAR JACKSON POINTED OUT THE ONLY THING
SAVING US HERE IS THAT NONE OF THESE REPRESENTATIVES OR
SENATORS ACTUALLY MAKE UP THEIR OWN MIND.
THEY JUST VOTE THE WAY THEIR DONORS TELL THEM TOO, SO PERHAPS
ALZHEIMER'S DOESN'T REALLY MATTER AT THE END OF THE DAY.
BUT IT IS STILL WORRISOME.
>>TO BE FAIR THE PHARMACY ALSO SERVICES STAFFERS,
LOBBYISTS, AND FAMILY MEMBERS.
SO NOT EVERYBODY GETTING ALZHEIMER'S MEDICATION IS
IN CONGRESS.
BUT VERY LIKELY SOME ARE.
STAFFERS ARE YOUNGER, SO THIS DOES GO TO TO ACTUAL PROBLEMS.
ONE IS THAT PEOPLE IN CONGRESS ARE UNIFORMLY INCREDIBLY
OLD ON AVERAGE.
DIANE FEINSTEIN JUST SAID SHE IS RUNNING FOR REELECTION, SHE IS
84.
BY THE END OF HER TERM SHE WOULD BE 90 OR 91.
THE REASON IS ONCE YOU HAVE MONEY AND POWER AND YOU HAVE A
GOOD DONOR BASE AND GOOD NAME RECOGNITION, YOU JUST HANG ON
FOR DEAR LIFE.
THEY STAY THERE AND THEY ARE ANCIENT.
IN MY OPINION THE CORRUPTION SETS IN AND IT CALCIFIED.
DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY DON'T REMEMBER THE
BILL, THEY DIDN'T READ IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
REMEMBER THAT TALKING POINT THAT THE PUBLICANS HAD ABOUT THE
DEMOCRATS?
YOU DIDN'T READ ABOUT IT OR DID YOU?
LATER ON THEY WENT ON TO SAY THEY BRAGGED THAT THEY DID
NOT EVEN READ THEIR OWN LEGISLATION.
THEY NEVER READ IT.
>>THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS I HAVE TO DO THAT ARE NOT READING.
>>THERE IS ONE THING THEY READ, THE IMA FROM THE DONOR THAT
TELLS THEM WHICH WAY TO VOTE.
THE ALZHEIMER'S AND FORTUNATELY IS THE LEAST OF OUR PROBLEMS.

Why You Don't Defund The EPA - Duration: 1:27.
THESE ARE ECOLOGICAL DISASTERS THAT HAVE BEEN PERPETRATED
AROUND THOSE STATES AND AREAS THAT HAVE BEEN DECIMATED BY THE
HURRICANE, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, PUERTO RICO, HOUSTON, THE GULF
STATES, THESE ARE SUPERFUND SITES, AREAS THAT HAVE BEEN
DESIGNATED AS AREAS THAT REQUIRE EPA INVOLVEMENT TO THE POINT
THAT EVERYTHING THERE, THE AIR, THE WATER, EVERYTHING IS
TOXIFIED, AND WITH A GUTTED EPA YOU CAN'T EVEN ADDRESS THESE
ISSUES.
SO THE OTHER THING IN THESE TWIN TOWERS OF DEATH THAT
I SEE THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION PURSUING, YOU'VE GUTTED THE EPA
AND THEIR ABILITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, AND AS WELL AS THE
FACT THAT TRUMP IS ONLY MARGINALLY CONCERNED WITH THESE
AREAS BECAUSE HE DOESN'T REALLY SEE THEM ANYWAY IN SOME WAY IS
CONNECTED TO THE UNITED STATES.
>>PART OF THE REASON WHY THE OTHER DAY HE SAID WE'VE BEEN
THERE THREE WEEKS, AT SOME POINT WE'VE GOT TO WRAP UP THIS FEMA
THING FOR PUERTO RICO, WHEN HE HAD LITERALLY PUT OUT TWEETS
ABOUT TEXAS AND FLORIDA SAYING WE WILL BE THERE FOR YOU EVERY
DAY NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES.
HE DOESN'T KNOW THAT THE VIRGIN
ISLANDS IS PART OF OUR COUNTRY AND ITS 50-50 ON PUERTO RICO.

How Trump Grades His Handling Of Puerto Rico - Duration: 2:41.
DOES ANYBODY EVEN
REMEMBER THE MOVIE 10 WITH BO DEREK?
YOU WILL SEE WHY WE DID THIS GRAPHIC.
DONALD TRUMP WAS TALKING ABOUT SERIOUS ISSUES, URANIUM AND
RUSSIA, THAT IS ANOTHER STORY AND I WILL COVER THAT AS WELL.
BUT BEFORE LET'S HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF FUN.
HE WAS ASKED ABOUT HOW THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REACTED
TO THE HURRICANE RECOVERY EFFORTS IN PUERTO RICO.
WHAT WOULD A NORMAL PRESIDENT SAY?
IT IS NEVER ENOUGH AND WE
WILL KEEP ON FIGHTING ñ
STUFF LIKE THAT.
HERE IS WHAT TRUMP SAID INSTEAD.
HOW WOULD YOU GET GRADE THE WHITE HOUSE RESPONSE SO FAR.
I WOULD SAY IT WAS A 10, PROBABLY THE MOST DIFFICULT
ñ I GIVE OURSELVES A 10 BUT WE HAVE PROVIDED SO MUCH, SO FAST.
WE HAVE THE COAST GUARD WAITING FOR THE STORM JUST OUTSIDE
THE STORM AND FOLLOWING THE STORM IN.
ARMY, NAVY, MARINES, AIR FORCE, HELICOPTERS THAT WEREN'T
EVEN MET FOR THIS PURPOSE.
WE WOULD HAVE THE MILITARY DRIVING TRUCKS, NOT EVEN
THEIR APTITUDE BUT THEY LEARNED QUICKLY.
THE GENTLEMAN WHO WORKED FOR BILL CLINTON GAVE US AN A+.
I REALLY BELIEVE HE IS CORRECT.
WE HAVE BEEN A REALLY GREAT JOB.
THE MILITARY, THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE TRUCKS BUT
THEY FIGURED IT OUT BECAUSE THAT IS HOW GOOD DONALD TRUMP IS.
10 OUT OF 10.
AND THE GENTLEMAN THAT WORKED FOR BILL CLINTON GIVES US AN A+
WHOSE NAME I DIDN'T BOTHER TO REMEMBER.
THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT DONALD TRUMP HAS GIVEN HIMSELF A
10.
I GIVE IT A 10, A FUCKING 10.
WE HAVE A GOOFBALL FOR A PRESIDENT.
HOW WOULD I GRADE MYSELF?
A 10.
UNFORTUNATELY HE IS A DANGEROUS GOOFBALL.
GUYS, HE IS NOT ON A REALITY SHOW HE IS ACTUALLY THE
PRESIDENT.

Fox And Friends Defend Trump's "Extra Special" Phone Call - Duration: 11:07.
DONALD TRUMP HAS RECEIVED QUITE A BIT OF CRITICISM IS A
PHONE CALL HE MADE TO A GRIEVING WIDOW.
HE WAS ACCUSED OF TELLING MYESHA HIS WIFE, BUT HE KNEW
WHAT HE SIGNED UP FOR.
IT'S INTERESTING TO SEE THOSE ON THE
RIGHT LINING UP TO DEFEND TRUCK AND ESSENTIALLY TELLING THE
GRIEVING WIDOW YOU JUST BE HAPPY.
LET'S START OFF WITH BRIAN KILL MEAD, HERE'S WHAT HE HAD TO SAY
ABOUT THAT PHONE CALL AND THE CRITICISM TRUMP IS RECEIVING
FROM THE REPRESENTATIVE.
THIS IS ONE REPRESENTATIVES OPINION ABOUT WHAT SHE
THOUGHT THE TONE WAS AND HOW IT WAS BEING PORTRAYED BY THE
PRESIDENT TO THE SLAIN SOLDIERS FAMILY.
DO YOU REALLY THINK ñ
WHO ARE YOU TO SAY I AM OFFENDED BY THE WAY THE
PRESIDENT, HIS TONE WAS TO THE FAMILY.
FOR HER TO SCRAMBLE AND CALL CNN TO MAKE HERSELF THIS ñ
TO ME IS TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE.
WHEN YOU GO TO A WAKE OR FUNERAL YOU WILL BE GRADED ON THE
PROPER MORNING.
TO BE CLEAR, REPRESENTATIVE WILSON IS NOT THE ONLY
INDIVIDUAL WHO SPOKE OUT AGAINST THAT CALL CRITICIZING THE
PRESIDENT.
JOHNSON'S MOTHER ALSO SPOKE OUT ABOUT IT TELLING THE WASHINGTON
POST THAT THE PRESIDENT DID DISRESPECT HER SON,
DAUGHTER, AND HUSBAND.
OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS WHO EXPERIENCE THE CAR ALSO
SPEAKING OUT.
IT IS NOT JUST THE REPRESENTATIVE WHO IS
SHARING HER PERSPECTIVE.
SO THAT IS HAPPENING.
THAT IS KILLMEADE'S COMMENTARY, LET'S HEAR FROM ANOTHER FOX
NEWS PERSON.
MY RESPONSE TO THIS WAS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA CALLED TO SAY THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, I'M SORRY
FOR YOUR SACRIFICE, THAT IN AND OF ITSELF IS EXTREMELY SPECIAL.
A PRESIDENT IS NOT REQUIRED TO CALL ALL OF THE FAMILIES,
IT IS EXTRA SPECIAL AND VERY NICE WHEN THEY DO?
SHE'S RIGHT THAT HE IS NOT REQUIRED TO CALL, BUT
PRESIDENTS TYPICALLY DO THAT BECAUSE IT IS THE DECENT
THING TO DO AS COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF.
BUT ALSO WHAT SHE DOESN'T REALIZE IS IF A WOMAN IS
GRIEVING THE LOSS OF HER HUSBAND, GETTING A CALL FROM THE
PRESIDENT WHERE HE SAYS HE KNEW WHAT HE SIGNED UP FOR IS
NOT EXTRA SPECIAL.
I WOULD RATHER NOT GET THAT PHONE CALL BECAUSE THAT IS
NOT SOMETHING THAT WOULD COMFORT ME AS I AM GRIEVING.
SHE KNOWS THAT SHE FEELS THE SAME WAY TOO.
THESE ARE THE SAME FOLKS WHO YESTERDAY WERE DEFENDING TRUMP
WHEN HE SAID OBAMA
AND BUSH AND OTHER PRESIDENTS WOULD MAKE DIDN'T MAKE THE
CALLS.
TODAY THEY FLIP AROUND AND SAY THE PRESIDENT OF HAVE THE CALL.
IF IT'S OUR PRESIDENT AND THE GUY WE LIKE, YOU ARE LUCKY
HE CALLED.
JUST THE DAY BEFORE TRUMP WAS LIKE THE PRESIDENTS DON'T DO
THIS, I AM SO MUCH BETTER THAN THEM.
THEY FLIP-FLOP AND MAKE POINTS THAT ARE CONVENIENT TO
WHATEVER THE POINT IS ABOUT TIME.
BUT THEN THEY WILL ALSO AGGRESSIVELY DEFEND TRUMP
AFTER HE TELLS A GRIEVING WIDOW YOUR HUSBAND KNEW WHAT HE
SIGNED UP FOR WHEN HE JOINED THE MILITARY.
IT'S PATHETIC.
BY THE WAY I LOVE ALL OF THESE PEOPLE LINING UP TO DEFEND HIM
SOME OF WHICH ARE COMPLETELY DENYING THAT HE WOULD EVEN SAY
SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
IN FACT BILL O'REILLY TWEETED NO PROOF NEEDED FOR THE MEDIA
WHICH IMMEDIATELY REPORTED THE CONGRESSMAN'S ALLEGATIONS
AS TRUTH.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT WAS SAID AND NEITHER DOES ANY OTHER MEMBER OF
THE PRESS, BUT THIS WHOLE THING HAS THE LOOK OF A SET UP DOESN'T
IT?
NO, HOW SOON WE FORGET THE FACT THAT TRUMP OPENLY
CRITICIZED JOHN MCCAIN FOR BEING A PRISONER OF WAR.
THAT WAS INCREDIBLY DISRESPECTFUL.
REMEMBER KAISER KAHN AND THE FACT THAT HE LOST HIS SON
AS HE WAS SERVING IN OUR MILITARY.
WHAT YOU THINK TRUMP DID IN REGARD TO THAT FAMILY
BECAUSE THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO SPEAK OUT DURING THE DNC?
HE CRITICIZED THEM.
BECAUSE IT IS A MUSLIM FAMILY THAT HAD THE AUDACITY TO ASK
TRUMP TO READ THE CONSTITUTION.
IT'S THIS ONGOING THING WITH TRUMP.
IF HE DOESN'T LIKE YOU, IT DOESN'T MATTER OR HOW
YOU'VE SERVED THE COUNTRY, HE WILL CRITICIZE YOU.
THIS IS NOT SURPRISING AND I WOULD ABSOLUTELY ASK BACK
TO THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR FROM HIM.
DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN THE CAR HAVE CONFIRMED THE
CONGRESSWOMAN'S POINT OF VIEW.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT MORE PROOF BILL O'REILLY NEEDS BEFORE THE
PRESS BELIEVE THAT.
WHAT DO YOU NEED BILL?
I'M SURE YOU FELT THE SAME WAY ABOUT
OBAMA.
AND THEN HE WAS LIKE IT LOOKS LIKE A SET UP, THEY WERE ON
THE WAY TO GET A CASKET.
HIS CASKET WAS ARRIVING, THAT IS WHERE THE CONGRESSWOMAN WAS
WITH THEM.
BUT OF COURSE BILL O'REILLY DIDN'T BOTHER TO DO ANY
RESEARCH ON THAT.
ONE MORE THING.
I WOULD LOVE TO PUT FREDERICA
WILSON ON THE STAND, I
WOULD IMPEACH HER ABILITY OF IT IN ABOUT 30 SECONDS.
SHE IS A VERY TRUMP HATER AND A TEA PARTY HATER AND A
CONSERVATIVE HATER.
SHE HAS EVERY RIGHT, SHE DOESN'T AGREE WITH PRES.
TRUMP THAT IS FINE.
BUT DON'T HOLD HER OUT OF SOME PARAGON OF CREDIBILITY.
IT MAKES ME SICK.
HOW MANY OF YOU WALK AROUND WITH A RHINESTONE COWBOY HAT THAT
LOOKS LIKE IT CAME FROM DOLLY PARTON'S COSTUME CLOSET?
NOW SHE
WEARS A GREEN ONE, SHE'S TRYING TO PLAY MAXINE WATERS, SHE IS A
COMBO OF MAXINE WATERS AND SHEILA JACKSON.
I LOVE HER COLORFUL DRESSING BUT YOU LOOK LIKE YOU CAME OUT
OF A CARNIVAL.
THIS WOMAN IS A NUT BAG.
YOU CAN GO ON AND ON ABOUT HOW SHE SHOULD COMMENT ñ THE
THING THAT ANGERED ME MORE WAS THE WHOLE THING ABOUT SHE IS A
CONSERVATIVE HATER AND SHE HAS NO CREDIBILITY.
YOU ARE
ALLOWED TO BE A LIBERAL HATER, BUT YOU ARE
INSULTING GOOD AMERICANS BY BEING A CONSERVATIVE HATER.
NO.
I DON'T LIKE YOU LAURA INGRAM, YOU ARE A DIRT BAG.
YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY BECAUSE YOU HATE THEM ALL.
UNDER YOUR OWN LOGIC, SHUT UP.
BUT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO.
YOU USE THIS DOUBLE STANDARD AND A LOT OF THE MEDIA
UNFORTUNATELY SAY THAT IS A GOOD POINT.
WE ARE NOT PLAYING THAT GAME ANYMORE.
I WANT TO PLAY A GAME.
DO YOU GUYS WANT TO PLAY A GAME?
LET'S PLAY A GAME IN REGARDS TO WHETHER OR NOT SOMEONE IS
CREDIBLE BASED ON THEIR DRESS.
BASED ON LAURA INGRAM'S LOGIC IF YOU PARTAKE IN COLORFUL DRESS
BUT IS A LITTLE TOO COLORFUL FOR YOUR TASTES YOU LOSE
CREDIBILITY.
OH, THAT APPEARS TO BE COLORFUL DRESS, I WOULD LOVE TO
IMPEACH HER CREDIBILITY RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW.
HERE IS THE THING, I DETEST TEARING PEOPLE APART BASED ON
THE WAY THEY LOOK OR DRESS UNLESS YOU ARE ALEX JONES.
BUT IN THIS CASE, THAT WAS YOUR CREDIBLE TALKING POINT IN
REGARDS TO REPRESENTATIVE WILSON THAT SHE WEARS A COWBOY HAT THAT
YOU DON'T LIKE?
THAT'S WHAT HELPS YOU DETERMINE SOMEONE'S
CREDIBILITY?
LAURA INGRAM IS PATHETIC.
WHAT IS EVEN MORE PATHETIC IS THAT SHE IS ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL
WHO WAS ON THE RIGHT TO HAVE NO SPINE AND DOESN'T HAVE THE BALLS
TO STAND UP TO SOMEONE LIKE TRUMP BECAUSE TRENT MIGHT DO
SOME FAVORS FOR HER.
THERE WAS SOME TALK ABOUT HER SERVING IN TRUMPS WHITE HOUSE.
THE FACT THAT SHE IS ATTACKING SOMEONE BASED ON A RHINESTONE
COWBOY HAT SHOWS THAT SHE IS NOT A PERSON OF SUBSTANCE AND
DOESN'T HAVE A SINGLE DECENT ARGUMENT IN THIS.
WHEN SOME PEOPLE POINTED OUT OR MADE COMMENTS ABOUT KELLYANNE
CONWAY'S DRESS, BY THE WAY IT WAS OVERWHELMINGLY NOT ONE OF
THE MOST PROGRESSIVE'S THAT SAID DON'T DO THAT.
THE LAURA INGRAM
CROWD SAYS HOW DARE YOU.
THAT
IS WHY I BROUGHT THAT UP BECAUSE THERE IS A DOUBLE STANDARD.
HERE'S THE THING, THE REASON WHY THE DOUBLE STANDARD EXISTS IS
BECAUSE THOSE ON THE LEFT GET SHAMED REAL EASILY.
REPUBLICANS DON'T DO THAT, THOSE ON THE RIGHT DON'T DO THAT.
THEY GO AHEAD AND THEY CRITICIZE PEOPLE IN THE MOST CHILDISH
JUVENILE WAYS AND THEN THEY STAND BY IT.
-------------------------------------------
Corporations Don't Want You To Know How Lethal Their Pollution Is - Duration: 9:40.
THERE HAS BEEN A TITANIC EFFORT OVER THE COURSE OF
SEVERAL DECADES NOW TO GET THE PUBLIC IN THE U.S. AND AROUND
THE GLOBE TO CARE ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE, TO UNDERSTAND WHAT
CHANGES WE MIGHT HAVE TO MAKE SOCIALLY AND INDIVIDUALLY BUT
ALSO IN TERMS OF GOVERNMENT POLICY TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
IT'S BEEN DIFFICULT BUT NOW I WONDER IF ALONG THE WAY THE
FOCUS ON CLIMATE CHANGE MIGHT HAVE LED PEOPLE TO PAY A LITTLE
LESS ATTENTION TO SOME OF THE OTHER THINGS RESULTING FROM OUR
EMISSIONS, OTHER THINGS WE ARE DOING THAT AREN'T JUST STARTING
TO DEVELOP INTO DISASTERS AND WILL WRECK OUR CIVILIZATION IN A
FEW DECADES BUT ARE DOING TERRIBLE DAMAGE TO US RIGHT NOW.
WE'VE GOT SOME SCARY STATS FOR YOU WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT, AND
THIS HAS TO DO WITH THE EFFECT OF POLLUTION.
NOT CLIMATE CHANGE
OFF IN THE FUTURE BUT POLLUTION RIGHT NOW AND HOW MANY PEOPLE IT
KILLS AROUND THE GLOBE, THIS STUDY ESTIMATES THAT EVERY YEAR
IT IS KILLING 9 MILLION PEOPLE, AND THE BELIEF IS THAT MIGHT BE
AN UNDERESTIMATE --
>>WOW.
>>WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT OUR GOVERNMENT DOES TO TRY TO
PRESERVE YOUR LIFE, THEY FOCUS ON SOME OF THOSE A LITTLE MORE
IN TERMS OF RHETORIC BUT ALSO DOLLARS.
IF WE COULD BRING UP
THIS CHART YOU WILL SEE SOME OF THOSE CONTRIBUTORS IN TERMS OF
DEATH, YOU SEE HOW MUCH TOTAL POLLUTION OUTPACES OTHER THINGS
CAUSING DEATH.
THINGS LIKE TOBACCO SMOKING, THAT'S TRAGIC
BECAUSE IT'S ENTIRELY PREVENTABLE AND SOME OF IT IS
SECONDHAND, YOU HAVE THINGS LIKE DISEASE, ALCOHOL AS WELL, THEN
YOU SEE WAR AND MURDER, HOW LOW IT IS, AND WE WILL RETURN TO
POLLUTION IN THE SECOND, BUT IT STRIKES ME HOW BAD WE ARE AS A
SPECIES IN UNDERSTANDING AND PRIORITIZING THINGS THAT ARE
THREATS TO OUR LIVES.
AND YOU THINK THAT SUPPOSEDLY EVOLUTION
IS SELECTING BASED ON YOUR ABILITY TO IDENTIFY AND MITIGATE
RISKS, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO THESE BIG THINGS, NOT THE TIGER
IN THE BUSH BUT THE POLLUTION IN THE AIR OR THE EMISSIONS FROM A
POWER PLANT, WE CAN'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT THAT ISN'T
COMPARABLE TO TERRORISM BUT THAT IT BLOWS TERRORISM OUT OF THE
WATER IN TERMS OF THE LIKELIHOOD THAT YOU OR SOMEONE YOU CARE
ABOUT COULD BE INJURED OR DIE, AND AS A SPECIES WE CAN'T
IDENTIFY IT SO WE DON'T PRIORITIZE IT WHEN IT COMES TIME
TO FUND PREVENTATIVE MEASURES.
>>THIS IS AN AMAZING STATISTIC, I'M GLAD YOU SHOWED THIS, BUT
YOU MENTIONED EVOLUTION, LET ME MENTION THIS FROM AN
EVOLUTIONARY STANDPOINT, THERE IS A BOOK CALLED SAPIENS WHICH I
RECOMMEND TO PEOPLE, AND ONE OF THE THINGS IN THERE IS THAT AS A
SPECIES WE CAN CONCEPTUALLY GROUP OURSELVES, AND ONE OF THE
THINGS THAT HAS SEPARATED US FROM OTHERS, EVEN OTHER SAPIENS
AT THE BEGINNING OF TIME, WAS WE COULD CREATE A CONCEPT WE CAN
RALLY AROUND LIKE THOSE PEOPLE ARE BAD, LET'S BAND TOGETHER AND
FIGHT THOSE PEOPLE.
OR THAT THING IS BAD, MAYBE IN THIS CASE
POLLUTION.
SO THE IDEA THAT WE'VE CREATED A NOTION THAT
MURDER AND TERRORISM AND THE OTHER THINGS ON THAT LIST ARE
THE REAL EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO US, WHEREAS THE THING AT THE TOP
IS NOT TALKED ABOUT AS MUCH, THIS POLLUTION, IN FACT WE JUST
ELECTED AN ADMINISTRATION THAT IS COMMITTED TO REMOVING THE
PROTECTIONS WHICH ARE FLIMSY ALREADY, BASIC AIR AND WATER
PROTECTIONS, SO WE ARE FEEDING THIS MACHINE BECAUSE WE'VE SOLD
THE CONCEPT EFFECTIVELY, WE'VE SOLD THE CONCEPT TO OURSELVES,
THAT THE REAL THREAT TO US IS NOT THIS POLLUTION, POLLUTION IS
BAD AND WE ALL GET THAT, BUT THE REAL PROBLEM IS THE TERRORISTS
OR THE BLOWING UP STUFF AND SHOOTING PEOPLE, THAT IS ALL BAD
TOO BUT THIS IS HAPPENING ON AN ONGOING BASIS.
TO SEE THE STAT LAID OUT LIKE THAT IS ALARMING.
>>IT DOVETAILS WITH THE CORPORATE MEDIA, IN PART THE
REASON THERE IS AN EMPHASIS ON HYPING THINGS LIKE THE WAR
MACHINE AND YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT THE POLLUTANTS IS PARTLY BECAUSE
THEY ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO BEING GAMED BY BOTH SIDES BUT PARTLY
BECAUSE IT'S BAD BUSINESS IF YOU MAKE YOUR ADVERTISERS ANGRY.
AND
IF THEY HAPPEN TO BE THE INDUSTRIES THAT ARE PUTTING A
LOT OF MONEY IN THERE YOU DON'T MAKE IT A THING, SO WE NEED
MEDIA TO HOLD THESE FORCES ACCOUNTABLE.
>>IN MY INTRO I TALKED ABOUT HOW THANKFULLY WE ARE FOCUSING ON
CLIMATE CHANGE RIGHT NOW, THANKFULLY A LOT OF THE THINGS
WE SHOULD DO AND MUST DO TO MITIGATE THE WORST EFFECTS OF
CLIMATE CHANGE WOULD ACTUALLY HELP SIGNIFICANTLY WITH
POLLUTION.
YOU ALLUDED TO THE CORPORATE MEDIA, I THINK UNTIL
WE GET MONEY OUT OF POLITICS, GET MONEY OUT OF THE MEDIA,
LET'S AT LEAST UTILIZE THE CORRUPTION.
THE PEOPLE MAKING
THE SOLAR PANELS, COULD YOU PLEASE START ADVERTISING ON CNN?
AND THEN THE GOVERNMENT, LET'S JUST THROW FOR THE NEXT 10 OR 20
YEARS BILLIONS IN SUBSIDIES TO PEOPLE MAKING SOLAR CELLS.
IF
YOU'RE GOING TO SELL OUT AND GIVE ALL OUR MONEY TO
CORPORATIONS, AT LEAST HAVE IT BE THE ONES TRYING TO SAVE OUR
LIVES.
UNFORTUNATELY THAT'S NOT WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
AND BY THE
WAY THERE'S A QUOTE FROM THE STUDY THAT SAYS THAT POLLUTION
IS SO DANGEROUS THAT THEY SAY IT THREATENS THE CONTINUING
SURVIVAL OF HUMAN SOCIETIES.
AND YOU WILL SEE THESE ARTICLES, CNN
WILL HAVE SOMETHING ON IT, THEY'LL HAVE AN ARTICLE ON THE
WEBSITE, THINK PROGRESS WILL COVER IT, THAT WILL BE AWESOME,
BUT TODAY WHEN YOU LOOK AT WHAT WAS IN THE NEWS, ONE AMERICAN
NEWS NETWORK TOOK THE STATS ABOUT CRIME IN THE U.K., LIVES
THAT THEY HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH ISLAMIC TERRORISM, WHICH
LED TO A TWEET FROM DONALD TRUMP -- HERE THEY ARE SAYING IT'S A
THREAT TO THE CONTINUING SURVIVAL OF OUR SPECIES, WE WILL
TALK ABOUT IT AND MOVE ON.
A LITTLE MORE INFORMATION,
ALTHOUGH THEY SAY THAT NO COUNTRY IS FREE OF THE DAMAGING
EFFECTS OF POLLUTION IN THE PRESENT DAY, 92% OF THE DEATHS
WE WERE TALKING ABOUT OCCUR IN LOW AND MIDDLE INCOME COUNTRIES.
THERE'S NO EQUALITY IN TERMS OF THIS, IT AFFECTS PEOPLE WHO HAVE
LESS OF AN ABILITY TO MITIGATE IT.
>> THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE IS CLINGING TO COME I KNOW
IT'S BAD BUT IT'S OVER THERE IN PLACES WHERE PEOPLE DON'T
HAVE MUCH MONEY -- FAX THEN LET'S HELP THEM.
>>OF COURSE, AND I WOULD ALSO SAY THIS, IT'S HAPPENING HERE IN
THIS COUNTRY, FIRST WORLD.
THE PROBLEMS OF AIR AND WATER
POLLUTION ARE BEING LIVED OUT RIGHT HERE IN THIS PLACE, WITH
ALL THE MONEY.
IF YOU LOOK AT THE STATISTICAL BREAKDOWN THEY
WILL EVEN SHOW YOU DEATHS FROM THOSE DISEASES YOU ARE TALKING
ABOUT, EMPHYSEMA AND THE LIKE, HAPPENING IN THE U.S.,
SO WHEN YOU LOOK BEYOND THE HEADLINES, I KNOW THE
PERCENTAGES ARE LOWER BUT PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR LIVES HERE
BECAUSE OF POLLUTION.
>> AND WHEN YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAS TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL
AND GO INTO BANKRUPTCY TO DEAL WITH SOME OF THESE DISEASES,
UNDERSTAND THAT EVERY DOLLAR YOU PUT INTO THAT MEDICAL CARE IS
SUBSIDIZING THE CORPORATIONS THAT PUT THE EMISSIONS AND
POLLUTION INTO THE AIR IN THE FIRST PLACE, THAT MONEY IS STILL
BEING SPENT, JUST NOT BY THE CORPORATIONS, BY YOU AND ME.
LET'S BRING UP ONE MORE GRAPHIC TO SHOW YOU SOME OF THE THINGS
LEADING TO THESE DEATHS, AIRBORNE POLLUTION IS
SIGNIFICANT, CARS, SHIPPING CONTRIBUTES SO MUCH, ALSO TOXIC
WATER, WORKPLACE POLLUTION, EVEN THINGS LIKE HEATING SYSTEMS AND
THINGS LIKE THAT IN THE THIRD WORLD ARE VERY SIGNIFICANT.
AND
THIS WILL CONTINUE ON WITH MY LET'S USE THE CORRUPTION THING,
IF PEOPLE AREN'T GOING TO CARE IN THIS COUNTRY AND THIS
GOVERNMENT ABOUT THIS PROBLEM JUST BASED ON WANTING TO
SAVE THEIR OWN LIVES, IF THAT'S NOT A SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH
DRIVER OF INTEREST, LET'S BRING UP THIS GRAPHIC --
>> EVEN IF YOU DON'T MIND THAT
IT'S KILLING YOU, THINK ABOUT
THE MONEY YOU CAN MAKE IF YOU DEALT WITH THIS.
BY THE WAY AS
WE SAID ALL OF THESE NUMBERS ARE MORE THAN LIKELY AN
UNDERESTIMATE OF THE ACTUAL EFFECT, BECAUSE MANY OF THE
DISEASES THAT LEAD TO THE TOP 10 KILLERS IN AMERICA, THINGS LIKE
DIABETES AND LIKE THAT, COULD HAVE STRONG TIES TO POLLUTION,
THEY JUST DON'T KNOW FOR SURE YET SO THEY AREN'T INCLUDED
IN THESE FIGURES.
>>I POSTED A LINK TO AN ARTICLE ABOUT THIS TRUMP PENCE
ADMINISTRATION AND THE RELAXING OF PROTECTIONS FROM THE EPA AND
THE RISE OF ALZHEIMER'S FROM POLLUTION.
THE HEALTH EFFECTS
REVERBERATE BEYOND THE FATALITIES TO DIMINISH THE KIND
OF LIFE YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS COUNTRY.
THIS IS THE STUFF
HAPPENING NOW, THIS NEW ADMINISTRATION IS REALLY
DESTROYING THE ENVIRONMENT, SO I'M GLAD YOU DID THAT STORY.
