Waching daily Oct 26 2017

So, I'm combining my September and October Coffee dates into this one video because I

just ran out of time to do the September one and then it was already October.

But I don't wanna skip September because it was a pretty good month.

So we'll start with that.

Biggest thing that happened in September, a little thing called Vidcon.

Where do I start, oh shit.

So I'm not even exaggerating when I say, it was the best experience of my life, I was

just so happy to be there.

I had some of you guys who are watching come up to me and say hello, um so THANKYOU again,

for coming up and saying hi. um I'm sorry if i ever seem weird in person, but I'm really

happy to have met you and that you watch my stuff!

I have saved all the photos of me and some people together and I wanna print them out

and like put them on my wall somewhere.

Up until vidcon my youtube channel has sort of only existed on my laptop, and by that

I mean I'd met a couple of people who had watched my stuff over the period of like two

years but this was just like a tangible repercussion of what I do online so that was just absolutely

amazing.

The biggest highlight I probably wanna talk about is going up on stage, um if you saw

my Vidcon timeblinks video, thats like a massive montage of what it was like.

I was taken backstage and um there were all these youtubers that I watch and I just sat

there and I was like "I'm fitting in, I'm a peer now" God oh it was so crazy.I went

round to the otherside to wait to come onstage and there was Gabbie (the gabbieshow) and

there was Liza Koshy.

I actually introduced myself to them.

Can you believe it? who am i!

I was just like to myself "I'm gonna hate myself if I don't walk over there and say

hello" They played my video and I was backstage and I could just hear my voice across this

massive auditorium, then I went on stage and then I accepted a few things: i'll just wear

this for the rest of this segment if thats ok with you.

it was just amazingly validating, especially when Shae-lee she just said "beth is a filmmaker"

without even hesitating and I think thats probably the first time someone's like called

me that.

It was like a really big deal to me because I have alto of respect for and what she does

so um, guess I can call myself a filmmaker now.and then I went off stage just stood awkwardly

for a bit trying to get u the courage to go and introduce myself to dodie, but I did it!

i introduced myself to dodie clark.

I talked to her manager, manager josh for a while, he was really nice to have a lil

convo with.

thanks josh. theres just no words to describe how grateful I am for that weekend and meeting

all my internet friends, and meeting people who watch my stuff, um and being among people

who make stuff.

September also, I was still at uni and went to two concerts.

I saw Ariana Grande and then I also saw Billie Eilish, she's like such a bloody good performer,

she complimented my hair, said it was cool.

then afterward she came out and met everyone, which was so nice, she's so like chill in

person.

That was September for me.

Now, October requires a bit of a set change.

Onto October!

October has just been the end of semester, for me.

I was just working on a web series, I was directing that which was scary. We cast actors

to be in it, which is the first time i've worked with people outside of um my media

group of friends so it was really quite daunting to work with them but I'm always trying to

push myself out of my comfort zone in terms of directing and stuff so i'm glad I did it.

On the last day of shooting was my 21st. um so if you saw my video 'i turned 21 on Friday

the 13th' self explanatory.

it's not that i'm not happy to be 21, like I just don't, I'm not fussed.

I'd much rather celebrate halloween.

I got this mug from my roommate, oh my god she's amazing i love her.

I broke my other nightmare before christmas mug, i dropped it and i saw it all happen,

it just hit the ground and shattered.

I was very sad about that but this one is actually better! look at his spooky face!

we have have lots of decorations downstairs and outside.

um so we are the spooky house on the street, i mean i'm quite happy to take that title,

i don't think anyone else has halloween decorations up so we are THE spookIEST house on the street.

Being 21 alot has changed, that day is just like a, it's a bit of a, it's got like a string

between all the years and you sort of just can't help but look back, i guess at previous

birthdays.

so alot has changed over this year.

my confidence in my filming and what i'm doing: you know I went to VidCon and I just finished

my first freelance videographer job.

I never thought i'd be doing that but I am.

Uni is going along and (certain) people are changing.

and (certain) friendships are moving on (lol).

everything's going well in terms of my life.

I'm doing all this stuff that I love and it's all just, it's all good right now.

My second year of uni is now done, one more year to go and then who knows where i'll be!

I don't mind though i'm happy to just see what happens along the way because this year

has been unpredictable, this is a kind of mentality I haven't had in years (probably

ever) which is great.

I'm content in where I am and what i'm doing and i'm not- yeah i'm good, i'm good for now.

I was ALMOST DONE!

Thats my September and October, i hope yours was good and I hope your November is good,

all the bloody christmas decorations will be out.

thats it, that was weird.

Is it Better to Have a Neck Lift or Neck Liposuction? - Duration: 1:56.

- But it depends on your anatomy.

So some patients like me, I have my mother's neck

but I'm 54 so my skin tone would probably

be a very good responder to Vaser.

It'll be a beautiful result,

but it may be that if I have laxity,

cause if I gain 50 lbs and lost 50 lbs,

my skin elasticity is something I'll assess with you

at the time of your consultation.

So I want you to know that it depends

and I don't mean that in a way that says

it depends on your budget.

It really depends on the outcome goal

that you and I identify

prospectively, with you in my office

and me and you talking about outcomes.

That means we show you pictures of other people

who've been in your pathway,

similar genetics, similar age structure,

but it's really not about the age.

I tell patients, "I'm not treating a number.

I'm treating your anatomy."

So some patients have very dynamic, platysmal lines

they've separated

so it depends if you have very active lines here,

then we usually want to put those together

back where they were in your 30's pretty much.

I tighten the muscles and get a nice

cervical mental angle

and that means that it's gonna restore the aging neck

to a bygone era.

But sometimes, a person says,

"I just want a little better,"

and that's where I say, "Okay, expectations,

we'll meet expectations."

Vaser, we introduce something behind their ear

and under you chin.

It's 4mm which is an eighth of an inch.

And I put a little fluid in there

and then Vaser is an ultrasound energy

that selectively liquefies the fat.

And then your immune system tightens that up.

The ultrasound stimulates your skin,

there are muscle fibers in your skin that tighten

things up after a wound is made.

So a patient who has a certain anatomy can have Vaser.

Patient who has a certain anatomy can have Vaser

and some neck muscle tightening.

But I always put in context about outcome goal

and what your tissue dynamics are like.
