Sir, regarding what health issues did you contact Dr. Vikram Chauhan in Planet Ayurveda center?
I'm suffering from Ulcerative colitis since the past 7-8 months but I had no clue about it.
When I got a test done about 4 months ago, then it came to light.
The doctor said it has no cure and I have to take medicines throughout my life.
Then, I searched for more options regarding Ulcerative colitis in Ayurveda and I came across Planet Ayurveda.
I saw numerous videos and interviews.
Then, I came here.
I didn't get much relief in the first month.
At that time, I passed loose stools 15-20 times per day which came with heavy amounts of blood which has now been controlled.
Now, I just pass stool once a day and the bleeding has also been controlled.

Sir, how severe was your Ulcerative colitis?
What was your stool frequency and if there was any bleeding or not? Tell us everything!
I would pass stool 15 to 20 times a day and most of the times I just excreted blood with mucus.
Where else did you take its treatment from?
I took treatment from Delhi itself.
Those medicines just reduced my stool frequency a little but there was no control in my bleeding.
My condition was almost the same with very minor relief.

Diet is the main thing in it.
I didn't control my diet earlier, I ate whenever I felt hungry.
But when I came to sir he made me aware about how important diet is then I completely controlled my diet.
Usually I eat 1 chapatti with dal (lentils) in the morning, 2 or 3 chapattis in the noon and 1 or 2 chapattis at night
but we take Khichdi (gruel) in dinner.
What are those things which you are especially refraining from?
I'm avoiding everything I've been asked to.
I don't eat anything from outside, I just eat home cooked food.
So, you're just eating normal food and no junk, fried foods and anything heavy?
Yes!

Hello, guys and dolls. It's Maria Cristina, one of the contributing editors at book riot
and here is your Thursday video. This week I'm being very deliberate
about what I am tackling off of my to be read pile and I'm doing it in a way that
is very close to how I used to assign readings when I was a college instructor.
That is to pair some kind of fiction with some kind of nonfiction that in
some way informs or contextualizes the fiction. And this week, finally getting to
black panther. I'm a trade waiter. It's just the most convenient way for me to
read comics, the most economical way for me to read comics. But then, you know, a
part of me worries that the fact that I didn't have this on a pull list at a
comic shop is part of the reason why Marvel decided to cancel it. But you know
what I really can't take responsibility for Marvel's mismanagement of many of
their titles. There's a really great post on book riot by Jess Plummer about this
issue. But here we've got this beautiful hardcover collected edition. And the
other book I'm reading is we were eight years in power. Now both of these are by
Ta-Nehisi Coates who is, he's just blowing me away. The mind that guy's got and
the way that he writes is something that I feel we really need right now. Even
though it's not always optimistic, it's necessary. And this work of nonfiction
has been on my to be read pile for a while. Really excited to be getting to it.
And black panther was the first time that he wrote for a comic book. And there
were lots of ways in which I feel he was
underutilized at Marvel. For example he was one of the voices who spoiler alert
cautioned against killing off Rhodes in civil war 2. And, and I am NOT a big fan
of the fact that they did that. My kid's knocking at my door.
I better go be a parent.
Before we were so cutely interrupted. um yeah I think he
was a really great voice for them to have in their stable of writers
especially when you consider the fact that they go on these annual retreats
where everyone talks through what's gonna be happening. It was a real shame
that they decided to cancel the series and let him fall. But I am excited about
catching up especially with the Black Panther movie coming out soon. Not as
soon as Thor but we keep getting more trailers and it looks amazing.
Now I'm not reading these one right after the other. It's kind of a
concurrent thing. I've got in about, I've gotten about two issues into this
collected edition and I have read the first chapter of this. And I can see
these different sides of an author I really admire, which is a lot of fun. So
that is my reading project for of the week. It's uh Ta-Naheisi Coates week over
here in Maria Cristina's household. What's your project if you are

complement these books to help me flesh out what kind of world he's creating

if you take ownership of your day if you take ownership of each hour in your day
what would it show you where would you be how could you achieve more now we all
have an hour you can't stop time what are you doing with each hour now this is
an insight that I got years ago and why I started really controlling my schedule
on my calendar and it's something I work on every single week this is why I'm the
author of your own story University we really cover the week review so it means
each week we review our per hour past week to see how we did give ourself a
score and then look at the week coming up and plan it out and plan it out for
success and planning out with things are gonna fill us up but are also gonna get
us to our goals now for each of us that's gonna be different some of you
want to work six hours a day some of you are willing to work 12 hours a day for
your goal the same thing the similarity that we all have is we all have 24 hours
24 hours in a day and it's what you do with each of those hours you decide you
decide whether you're gonna be in your body you're gonna be fit or fat you
decide whether you're gonna be able to speak one language for multiple
languages you decide whether you're going to go deep into your religious
beliefs or go into meditation whatever it may be for yourself or sit on the
couch you decide if you have quality relationships you decide if you're able
to actually go out there and have a bunch of guy friends or girlfriends or
social time you decide whether your business life is
successful or not how do I know you're deciding I know you're deciding because
I know there's other people who are successful at each of those areas in
fact I know people are successful in all of those areas and that's why we came up
with a five to thrive it's a holistic representation of your life what you
want to make sure you're doing is with each of these hours in the day that you
have blocked those hours you have taken a vote basically a vote saying this is
where I want my life to go this is where I want it to be you vote with your time
now I often say show me your schedule and I'll show you your priorities if I
can see your schedule and you're booked solid from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on
business I'm gonna say that's your priority but
your relationships are probably suffering that's my guest based on all
the people that I coached over the years you know there's other areas your body's
probably suffering too but if I see your schedule and I see a holistic balance I
see that you've actually booked out in your scheduled workouts I see you've
booked out connection time with your family with your loved ones
I see you've booked out your meditation or religious time I've seen you booked
out time for yourself to get outside if I see you booked out time to learn time
to take these insights and these tips and apply them to your life I know
you're gonna be successful in whatever you decide to do and even if you haven't
made a choice yet you haven't actually decided exactly what you want in life by
taking action and doing the small step you will get there you will have the
foundation for success and that's what I want for you I want you to have the best
so what I want you to do is go ahead and grab out your 5 to thrive in and look at
your goals you've written them down in the past if you haven't this is the time
to do it right here right now stop what you're doing if you're driving pull over
and take some notes it's not gonna kill you to take a little bit of time you
know peace safe obviously but take time now to plan your future look at your
schedule does your schedule represent the way that you want to live your life
not only now but in future is this a representation of you do your hours look
like votes and if they are votes and you agree with me then what are you voting
for I want you to write that down and now adjust your schedule pivot if you
need to if you don't celebrate those great things that you are
doing is this is not just a choice for you or a chance for you to be critical
this is a chance for you to look at yourself in a critical way and then make
decisions that allow you to be pulled forward into your destiny that's it for
