so if I get this get these instructions what they're telling me
you have two separate drives you have
the first drive which is more of a boost then you have the second drive which is
really the cranker so I think that it has a boost circuit then goes into the
tube on the inside which is a standard 12 ax7 and I think that's what drives
this the second drive which you activate from the button here which makes it way
crunchier, way dirtier, way more like a tube so drive one drive one is your
boost you have a level and a tone drive two with this button is I believe your
tube so let's check her out..... uh again,
Clean tone
this is just drive one we'll put the level, at noon tone a noon, drive at noon
Kind of um... tubedriver-y
but like not it's just it's got a character of its own I guess
Turn the drive up, keep the level... at noon
Let's put the tone up...
level just seems like a general volume control
maybe that's you know... you know the amount of signal that's going
into the driver so let's turn the level down and turn the drive back to noon
so it seems like after you get past it's actually driving the first drive more so
let's keep the tone at like... I don't know three o'clock-ish
We'll turn it down in a second and then let's put drive two at noon
Annnnnnd, Kick it in!
so now let's start by cranking drive one into drive 2 and then we'll do the other
way around so crank drive one
so let's turn dr1 back to new and let's crank drive too
let's drive one into two
more like a stocks nature so let's keep drive to up let's try look roll drive on
waiter
I'd actually like that a little bit more
all right so let's try it the other way around
crank this bad boy put the sub back to about nine o'clock this thing cranks
when they're both cranks
it's doing like a little compression anything I don't know some kind of like
the real charm of this thing is in is in the higher tones so that's the drives up
let's just you know roll back
