Two New Ways We Could Live on the Moon! - Duration: 5:28.
SciShow Space is supported by Brilliant.org.
Last week, scientists and engineers announced two new developments in possible lunar habitats.
So if you've ever hoped to live on a barren, cold wasteland with minimal atmosphere, this
Space News is going to be very exciting for you.
First, Bigelow Aerospace and United Launch Alliance, or ULA, announced that they'll
be sending one of Bigelow's inflatable habitats, called the B330, to low-lunar orbit as early as 2022.
The habitat would act like a lunar depot, where astronauts could live and train, and
where other companies could test their space tech.
If this sounds kind of familiar, it's because Bigelow has been working on inflatable space
habitats for over 10 years.
We covered their BEAM habitat last year when it was sent to the International Space Station for testing.
BEAM is a lot like a pillowy space closet, with 16 cubic meters of volume when it's fully inflated.
Right now, it's attached to the ISS with all kinds of monitors in it to measure things
like micrometeorite impacts and cosmic rays.
And so far, it's going okay!
It's still intact and safe for humans to live in, and it's being used as storage.
The plan is to keep it attached to the ISS for at least a couple more years to see how
it holds up.
The B330 habitat is basically a super-BEAM.
When expanded, it has a volume of 330 cubic meters, over 20 times more volume than BEAM,
and it can house up to six people.
But of course we'll need to get it off Earth first, which is where ULA comes in with their Vulcan rocket.
Vulcan is a big rocket redesign for ULA, with new, super powerful boosters and a second
stage called the Advanced Cryogenic Evolved Stage, or ACES.
It's also the only commercial rocket in development big enough to launch the B330.
But it's not done yet.
Vulcan won't be able to launch before 2019 at the earliest, and ACES won't be ready until 2023.
And ACES is essential for getting the B330 to the moon.
First, the inflatable habitat will spend up to a year in low-Earth orbit for tests.
Then, if everything works out, it will dock with ACES, which will push it on over to the moon!
With people in it!
But it will still be a while until ACES is ready.
So stay tuned!
Now, if you'd rather live in the moon instead of near it, you may be more interested in
hunkering down in a lunar lava tube.
Lava tubes are … well, tubes made by lava.
Scientists aren't always that creative with names.
There are a couple ways they can form, but one way is when underground lava cools and
hardens on the outside.
Then, the lava inside drains out and leaves behind a tube.
We've suspected there are lava tubes on the moon for a while, because we know it had
lots of volcanic activity early in its history -- but now we're pretty confident they're
actually there!
Back in 2009, researchers found an unexplained hole in the Marius Hills, a region of the
moon covered in volcanic rock and peaks from hardened lava.
And in 2014, more research confirmed that the so-called Marius Hills Hole was an opening
into some kind of long cavern -- so, possibly a lava tube!
But we still didn't know how far underground or how tall it was.
Then, last week, a team from JAXA, the Japanese space agency, confirmed it: The Marius Hills
Hole leads to at least one lava tube!
They used data from radio sounding -- basically, radar -- to find that the tube, or tubes,
start about 75 meters underground, and are around 75 meters tall.
Now, a big hole on the moon may not sound that exciting, but it would actually make
a really great place to live.
See, our atmosphere on Earth is awesome.
It protects us from high energy radiation, keeps us all warm and cozy at night, and burns
up the meteorites that try to kill us.
Well, most of them.
Sorry, non-avian dinosaurs.
The moon, on the other hand, has a really thin atmosphere that's not very useful.
So, even with spacesuits on, astronauts would be exposed to potentially dangerous cosmic rays.
And a long-term habitat on the moon's surface would be vulnerable to meteorites and freezing temperatures.
We could overcome all those engineering challenges, but an underground moon base would solve those
problems with much less work.
Rock, especially dense rock like volcanic basalt, is really good at filtering out cosmic rays.
It also traps heat in and, if it's thick enough, provides shielding against meteorites.
So scientists looking at moon colonization are big fans of lava tubes as potential real estate.
And now, thanks to this new research, we know there's at least one tube big enough for
astronauts to live in.
We'd just need to figure out what sort of housing to put inside them.
But, like some scientists have pointed out, an inflatable habitat in a lava tube might
be a great idea.
So someday, maybe Bigelow Aerospace will also start an underground moon base.
And then we'd all be living in a James Bond movie!
Lava tubes are pretty sweet on their own, but the technology scientists use to find
them can be used for other tunnels as well.
You can learn more about similar tubes here on earth with Brilliant's Oil Prospecting
quiz, which takes you through how gravitational anomalies are used to locate oil deposits
in the ground.
So since we're going to take a quiz, let's go to the SciShow Quiz Show set to check it out.
So I don't actually know anything about oil prospecting, so I'm going to kinda back
up in the lesson so I can learn more before diving into this part of the quiz.
So this oil prospecting lesson's really cool because it's not anything I ever would
have thought about.
They're using calculations that we use to talk about planets to talk about the stuff
that's under the ground in the earth.
So based on what I read before in the lead up to this part of the question I think the
answer is, "It's The Same."
And I got it right!
So you'll always learn a lot with Briliant.org but it is definitely not over your head.
There's always lots of information that you can unpack to help you figure out the quizzes.
I think it is really fun to get sucked into the world they create with each lesson and
I think you'll like it too.
So if you want to check it out and help SciShow Space you can go to Brilliant.org/scishowspace
and the first 200 people that check it out will get 20% off of their annual subscription.

What You Need To Know About The Trump JFK Release - Duration: 9:19.
Welcome back beautiful amazing human beings and ...
yeah let's talk about the secret government files ...
related to the assassination of former US President John F ...
Kennedy was going to be a very poor video that is going ...
to show you exactly how government works now before ...
we start I hate to say this well not really but I told you so I ...
told you this was going to happen right after US ...
president Donald Trump said he's going to release the long ...
blocked and classified JFK files will actually I'm partly ...
right because some documents were released last ...
night and in this video we are going to go over some of the ...
bigger Bombshells that were released in the documents ...
and of course we're going to the bigger story here which is ...
the cover-up which suggests to the American people that ...
the same shadowy figures deep State and intelligence ...
agencies that had a lot of power when JFK was in ...
charge are pretty much still running the show right now ...
now 6 days ago Donald Trump tweeted that he would ...
approve the release of all the JFK files which spurred a lot ...
of people to contact me personally and say hey.
Donald Trump is going against the Deep State and ...
intelligence agencies and then yesterday many people ...
including myself or on the computer refreshing the ...
government website waiting impatiently for these ...
documents to finally come out and then we found out he only ...
released some of them while keeping my portion still on ...
released to the public pending review ultimately blocking the ...
full release of these JFK documents after a last-minute ...
Push by the CIA Donald Trump been said quote I have ...
no choice then he said that there would be potentially ...
irreversible harm to National Security if all the records were ...
to come out now let me translate that for you when ...
Donald Trump says threat to National Security he ultimately ...
means we're covering up and lying to you than American ...
people so you don't find out how horrible the US ...
government is capable be he also tweeted today that the ...
JFK files are being carefully released and that in the end ...
there will be great transparency and then cool it ...
is my home. Just about everything to ...
public over 50 years with these documents in hand had ...
enough time to redact all the information that was quote a ...
threat to National Security but no they need more time so ...
we're definitely seeing an internal struggle here between ...
Donald Trump and the CIA with the CIA ultimately ...
deciding what the US president could release to the ...
American public even CNN anchor Jim Acosta said that ...
he asked the officials whether there were any signs of a ...
conspiracy in the secret JFK files and he said officials are ...
on call with reporters would not even comment so it is ...
very interesting that the intelligence agencies are ...
petrified that you will find out what they were up to 50 years ...
ago but some of the files were released last night they're ...
available on this website which will be available in the ...
description below so you could fact check everything ...
we're going to say moving forward in this video and then ...
to add a cherry on top of WikiLeaks has issued a hug.
$2,000 reward from the wits held at JFK documents.
Of course Donald Trump just block from the American ...
public know what these new documents coming out I think ...
it's clear that there is a massive cover-up happening ...
right now and we have to understand that these are ...
thousands of files that people are going through which will ...
take weeks to vet in order to get you all the information ...
from this latest data. But so far on the internet ...
these are the latest Bombshells that people found ...
out from these documents from these files we found out ...
that the former FBI director J Edgar Hoover said that the ...
public must believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone ...
and was the lone gunman that assassinated John F Kennedy ...
these documents show how the American government was ...
working to make sure that the American public was ...
convinced that Oswald was the lone gunman There's an ...
actual document that ends prematurely and is cut off and ...
censored right before a deposition that talks about ...
the. CIA being involved in the ...
assassination there's a document and closed talking ...
about how the Soviet Union was convinced that the JFK ...
assassination was a coup d'etat and that it was not a ...
single lone gunman that assassinated JFK the Russian ...
intelligence agency at the time was in possession of data ...
reporting to indict President Johnson vice president of JFK ...
who was reportedly responsible for the ...
assassination of John F Kennedy another major ...
bombshell which I think should be big news for everyone is ...
the fact that in these JFK files they have the lone gunman ...
Lee Harvey Oswald and his assassin that killed him Jack ...
Ruby meeting each other weeks before the ...
assassination of John F Kennedy detail and how they ...
went to Cuba together to supposedly cut sugar cane ...
and that they were discussing Big Bird saying that they were ...
overheard speaking in code right before the JFK ...
assassination and of course right before Jack Ruby.
Assassinated Lee Harvey Oswald the same Lee Harvey ...
Oswald who was speaking out and saying he was a patsy ...
and was saying that the government wasn't lying about ...
the assassination of JFK of course couldn't speak out any ...
longer because he was assassinated it went as well ...
by who were finding out was known to him before ...
everything and that was Jack Ruby the same Jack Ruby ...
who during his court proceedings for a fascinating ...
the quote lone gunman came out publicly and said worker ...
my motive. Manhattan.
Jack Ruby said he would testify if he was transfer.
And had protection in Washington DC which never ...
happened by the way better record also said.
Glass Broken anabaptist pointing the finger directly at ...
the person who took over the presidency Lyndon B Johnson ...
also in the documents we have a Surgeon General ...
report that talks about a second shooter being involved ...
during the assassination and even would older documents ...
we have evidence suggesting that Oswald the lone gunman ...
was actually trained by the CIA previously beforehand ...
which of course Jason bermas made a very important video ...
on this YouTube channel about specifically what the ...
exact a document that he wanted to come out from this ...
entire case which of course I did it you'll be able to click on ...
this video right after this one and I definitely recommend ...
you watch it and even outside of JFK's assassination we are ...
finding out even bigger Bombshells when it comes to ...
the cia's involvement with the US mainstream media as the ...
documents confirmed and talked about how there were ...
over 40 journalists who worked in the mainstream ...
media who are really undercover CIA.
Of course weren't working as journalists but really ...
propaganda outlets for this intelligence agency which ...
practice is information Warfare and this information ...
to guarantee that the American people will never ...
find out the truth of what the government is doing the ...
documents also talked about introducing a biological agent ...
to cause crop failure in Cuba and the importance of ...
covering it up and most importantly what you have to ...
note here is that this is the stuff that they are okay with ...
telling you now imagine the stuff that they're still keeping ...
secret from you it's still going to take weeks to find out the ...
whole truth behind all these documents and some of them ...
will never be released which of course adds more mystery ...
conspiracy theories and the rightful mistrust of government ...
clearly the government is still lying to you about the ...
assassination of John F Kennedy which means ...
essentially the same powers and institutions that covered ...
up this crime or still in charge today and this is why most ...
Americans don't be. The JFK official story and ...
they don't trust the government and now we're ...
just being Vindicated because we have every right to John F ...
Kennedy was a very powerful leader against the Federal ...
Reserve and the CIA and ultimately what happened to ...
him will never be Vindicated by the US government but it ...
can be in the hearts and minds of Americans if you ...
disagree with me let me know in the comments section ...
below I look forward to your comments and responding to a.
If you agree with me share this video and get it out there ...
to your friends and family members and most ...
importantly thank you for all you amazing human beings ...
who make this broadcast possible by going to we are ...
change.org ports donate and donating to us to keep us a ...
fully free Independent Media Outlet which unlike the CIA ...
controlled mainstream media we're willing to tell you things ...
that they of course want covered up against watching I love you.

JBugs - Tech Tip - Quick Change Push Rod Tube - Duration: 2:27.
Last week when one of our employees was off-roading in the desert,
he and his friends had pulled into camp for the night.
After unloading and settling down, he noticed that a puddle had quickly developed under his friend's car.
A closer inspection revealed that the number three push rod tubes had been damaged-
most likely from a rock that had been kicked up into them.
After the car had cooled down a bit, they cleaned the tubed off with some carb cleaner.
When a visitor slithered up they decided to call it a night.
The next morning the valve cover bale was popped off
and the valve cover was removed.
The rocker assembly nuts were unthreaded,
and the rocker assembly was pulled off the head.
The push rods were removed from the tubes.
So they wouldn't be damaged when a pry bar was used to remove the leaking tubes from the engine.
The case and head were cleaned up in preparation for the quick change adjustable tubes.
A bit of oil from the valve cover was used to lube the seals on the new tubes,
then the tubes were slid into place on the engine and the cylinder head.
The lock nuts for the tubes were threaded down to lock the tube in place
and two crescent wrenches were used to lock the jamb nuts together.
The push rods were slid back into place into the tubes
and the rocker assembly was installed back onto the studs after aligning all the push rods.
The valves were adjusted on both cylinders to make sure they were in spec after removing the rockers.
The valve cover was set back in place
and the bale was pushed back on.
Lastly, they checked the oil to make sure the engine wasn't running low from the leak
and the fix was complete so they could enjoy the rest of their trip.
This is exactly what quick change, 2 piece or adjustable push rods as some call them, are for.
They are intended as a quick fix for a damaged tube in a temporary capacity.
We never recommend using 2 piece push rod tubes as a permanent fix for an oil leak.
Adjustable push rod tubes just offer another place for the oil to leak from.
However, in the right place, at the right time, the tubes can mean the difference between cutting a trip short
or finishing off a weekend in the dirt.

Don't Feel Like An Expert?
How To Prove That You Are.
In the extremely connected world that we
live in and with online businesses flourishing,
anybody can claim to be an expert or guru
in any topic. However, there is a huge
difference in saying that you're an expert
and in actually being one. As with anything
else in life, you have to prove that you
are an expert before making that claim…

SPISPOPD: When Doom isn't Doom | Nostalgia Nerd - Duration: 12:15.
Most of us who played the original Doom are aware of the cheat codoes.
IDKFA for a full arsenal, IDDT for a full map.
IDDQD for invulnerability and of course IDSPISPOPD to clip through walls.
In later iterations of the Doom engine this would change to IDCLIP, but this video isn't
about these cheat codes specifically, it's about the origin of SPISPOPD.
Yes, that's right, that seemingly random bunch of characters has an origin, and it wasn't
from inside the walls of id software.
To find it's place of birth, we have to go back to the warmth and comfort of 1993 Usenet
Newsgroups.
Ahhhhh, the early internet.. so comforting and soul warming.
September 1993 is a period known as Eternal September and marks the point where America
Online began offering Usenet access to many of it's customers, increasing the user base
of this groups significantly.
As 1993 rolled on, anticipation was high for id's latest game, Doom.
Beta copies were being shared about and conversations were popping up in various corners of Usenet.
From one side there was excitement about in game elements, such as talk of potential rocket
launchers in the final game!
From another side people were discussing hardware and whether Doom will have 8 or 16 bit sound
samples, keen to push their 16 bit ISA soundblasters to their limits.
There was even discussion about how evil the game was, with it's satanic imagery and inappropriate
scenes for children... whatever that means.
But then, on the 30th November 1993, just 10 days before Doom would be officially released,
a 15 year old lad by the name of Eli S Bingham posted a message which said:
"Listen up, ID Software!
Next time you have an impending release of a much anticipated game, make sure it's name
is not so cool-sounding as DOOM and much longer to eliminate all of the casual...
"Where can I get xxx" posts.
How about "Smashing Pumpkins Into Small Piles of Putrid Debris" for the next game?"
Smashing Pumpkins Into Small Piles of Putrid Debris itself forming the initialism, SPISPOPD.
(ahhhhhhh)
Now this was a reference to Usenet literally filling up with Doom posts.
Anticipation was high, and this is why the early internet was just so damn cool, almost
as cool as the Doom name itself.
Further posters such as John W. Cummings would point out that this abbreviation was still
too short and suggested using the first 128 ASCII characters, like Prince's new name.
But really, any attempt to cull the influx of Doom related material was ultimately, errr,
Doomed.
In fact, USENet then started filling with posts saying...
"When is SPISPOPD coming out" as well as "When is DOOM coming out".
The problem was doubled.
This of course didn't appease people who had put the "Doom" word into their killfile, to
automatically delete any of these posts from downloading.
The fact there were so many often caused Usenet reading programs to crash themselves, off-setting
any gain by removing them from the reader.
Jokes then circulated about a release of the game known as SPISPOPD, with February 29th
1994 and March 35th noted as official release dates.
(by the way, they're not real dates... you get the joke, right?).
People began using this alternative moniker to describe the game they hoped Doom would
be, including incredible AI, rocket launchers, several hundred levels and boss monsters like
Linus Van Pelt and The Great Pumpkin - so not that far off reality really.
This led to "The Official SPISPOPD" FAQ posted by Seth Cohn on the 4th December 1993.
A tongue in cheek play on the Doom FAQs which were being circulated around the comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.action
newsgroup.
The FAQ relates to the ficticious SPISPOPD game by Ego Software, which in no way should
promote killing yourself, eating pumpkin pie or squashing squash in any other fashion.
The game itself sounded very promising, with 16.7 million colours on a 256k VGA card.
Full Turing AI logic and God Mode, including a digitised Jean Claud Van Damme who suffered
a pumpkin incident, blinding his right eye, therefore delaying the game release.
Some actually bought into this as a real game, whilst others clearly got the joke.
It's worth reading the FAQ if you haven't, a link of which I've included in the description.
So here's the twist, a day before Doom was actually released, a few guys at California
Polytechnic State University who went under the banner of "Jamul Software" managed to
write and release a Beta game actually called SPISPOPD, where your objective was to navigate
levels and indeed, smash the crap out of Pumpkins.
And here it is.
This is actually a slighter later version, after the guys decided to make it a real shareware
release.
You can see from this load up screen alone, it's Doom roots.
Once you get into the game however, it's very non-Doom.
I mean, come on, this was made in a couple of days, and given that, it's actually rather
playable.
It's even got music and sound effects for crying out Pumpkins.
Your task is simply to go from level to level, collecting candles, and smashing pumpkins
along the way.
The Dateline in the associated readme file prepares you.
30th October 1993 - All the pumpkins of the world cower in fear again, as another Halloween
approaches.
As always they are destined to be culinarily transformed into grotesque icons of a pagan
tradition.
Their only hope was to steal all of Earth's candles and take them away to the distant
pumpkin planet, Pumpkinia.
4th November 1993 - Despite tremendous security measures, the pumpkins succeeded and now Earth
has no candles.
If the power goes out, everybody is SCREWED.
The only hope is Boupaha, the Gourdslayer.
He hops in the specially designed TX-34Z Rocket Ship and blasts off for the Zeta Toejam Star
System.
And that's where we find ourselves.
The first version only had "intro land" whilst later versions have additional levels such
as "Earth Realm", and although Jamul Software may have started out as only a couple of people.
Various others were involved by the time the official SPIS.FAQ came out in 1994.
Mike was kind enough to unearth a copy from his hard drive of this, which I've linked
in the description below.
Hello? OCTO: That's click bait...
How do you know what I'm ty...
OCTO: It's click bait...
I don't think it is.
I only have a few words to grab people's atten....
OCTO: It's definitely click bait...
I don't even know what click bait is anymore.
OCTO: It's click bait.
*Hangs Up*
Anyway, back to the newsgroups....
Doom would be released the next day causing all kinds of excitement.
People were worried about being able to get the download, and they were right to, because
shortly after it's upload at 11:53 on 10th December 1993, the University of Wisconsin's
server was so overloaded with requests, that many people just couldn't log onto it.
However, for the people who did get a copy.
Their excitement was truly justified, and to acknowledge the newsgroup banter.
IDSPISPOPD had been snuck in by id at the last minute as a cheat to turn on no clipping
mode
Back in the Newsgroups, some people seemed to still be confused about SPISPOPD, with
one one chap actually thinking it was supposed to be a fantastic 3D game, but on downloading
the actual top down release, was a little disappointed to not find the Ruby lasers and
like.
Clearly he either didn't get the joke, or had never heard of Doom.
Maybe he was just trolling himself, who can honestly tell, or care?
By April 1994, Jamul Software would release a level editor for SPISPOPD... whilst at the
same time sparking outrage from members who didn't realise the connection between SPISPOPD
and Doom.
Clearly he thought this was some guy spamming his latest PD release in Doom forum.
Various updates followed culminating in version 3 released in 1994.
But that's not the end of our Pumpkin tale....
Jamul Software would go on to be called Hamumu Software, run by the main programmer of SPISPOPD,
Mike Hommel, and two follow ups would be made.
The first was Amazin' SPISPOPD, which shared the same gameplay as the first release, just
in a nicer fashion.
This was followed by SPISPOPD II: Dr. Lunatic in May 2000.
Both of these are still available for purchase on the Hamumu Games Inc. website for just
$2.95 and $4.95 respectively!
Other references to this tale include the 1995 Doom novel where a character mentions
"Smashing pumpkins into small pieces of putrid debris" in response to killing a Cacodemon,
which they dubbed Pumpkin
Simtex's 1994 game Master of Magic included a magical item called Idspispopd.
An early Quake MOD allowed you to tend a Pumpkin patch.
and of course there were DOOM Mods, such as this WAD by Richard Ward featuring an SPISPOPD
arcade machine.
Wonderful.
Of course, let us also not forget that, The song "Where Boys Fear to Tread" by The Smashing
Pumpkins included Doom samples and specifically credited id Software in the liner notes to
their album, "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness."
In the run up to Doom 3 there was even a campaign to try and bring back IDSPISPOPD in the next
game iteration, with people enraged by it's removal in Doom 2.
I don't blame them...
I mean IDCLIP...
WHAT WHERE THEY THINKING??
My first encounter with the term, was the no clipping cheat in the shareware release
of Doom, but I love little stories like this where an excited fan base was able to influence
some changes in a game release essentially just though joking about in forums.
Man, I love the early internet.
I also love Doom and I love Pumpkins.
What a day.

Considerations for Local Currency Payments - Duration: 1:33.
Some U.S.-based businesses buy from foreign partners in U.S. Dollars because they believe
this will help them avoid extra costs.
In fact, switching to local currency can help both U.S. buyers and foreign sellers.
First, you could receive better pricing.
Exporters rarely ask their U.S. trade partners to accommodate their local currency preference
for fear of hurting the relationship.
Instead, they build in a risk premium into prices to protect themselves from currency fluctuations.
Offering to pay in local currency means you might avoid this mark-up.
Second, payments can clear more quickly.
When sending dollars to an overseas exporter, the exporter's bank may delay the credit
due to conversion processing queues.
Sending local currency avoids this issue, and may improve supplier relationships.
Because exchange rates are changing constantly, paying international vendors in foreign currency
will cause fluctuations in a company's U.S. Dollar-denominated costs.
When the dollar is strengthening, costs could decrease, and when the dollar is weakening,
costs could increase.

Halloween - 21 English words you need to know - Duration: 5:30.
Hello everyone.
You're coming shopping with us today!
Yeah, we're going to the Halloween store.
Halloween's great in America.
People buy costumes – clothes that make them look like somebody else.
You can be anyone you want.
Do you want to be a pirate?
Or Michael Jackson?
Or Elvis Presley?
The King.
If you want, you can be a superhero.
Superman!
When you buy your costume, don't forget to buy your accessories.
They're the extra things that make your costume great.
If you're going to be a chef, you'll need a big chopping knife.
And if you're going to be a pirate, you'll need a sword.
You might want a mask that covers your face, or maybe a wig to cover your hair.
And if you're a policeman, you'll need hand cuffs.
At Halloween people decorate their homes with pumpkins.
They're like big orange vegetables.
We cut holes in them to make a face and put a candle inside.
Then they become jack o' lanterns.
They can look pretty evil.
And people decorate their homes with other things too.
Yes, spooky things.
Spooky means strange and frightening.
Skeletons.
Yes, we decorate our homes with skeletons – they're spooky.
This Halloween store is pretty spooky.
Is it cold in here?
Yes.
You don't think there are any ghosts here, do you?
Like spirits of dead people?
No, of course not.
Ghosts don't exist.
Oh good because that would be creepy.
If something's creepy it makes you a little nervous and frightened.
I'll tell you what's creepy.
I feel like we 're being watched.
Yes, like there's a evil eye or something.
Spiders are creepy.
We associate them with Halloween.
Yes.
And bugs!
They're creepy too
And another Halloween creature is bats.
Bats!
They're creepy.
They're scary too.
Scary means frightening!
When I was a kid, I read scary stories about witches.
You know, women who ride around on brooms and they have magic powers .
But witches don't really exist.
Everyone knows that.
Well I know that now.
What's in that box?
Hm mm.
--It's a Werewolf.
A person who becomes a wolf when the moon is full.
Can I see?
Jay, I saw a grave and a grave stone and then a big hand came up.
Oh that was a zombie - someone who's half alive and half dead.
A zombie!
And there are vampires here too – creatures who drink your blood.
But don't worry, I'll keep you safe.
Oh
Hey.
I enjoyed that.
Yeah.

How Does FX Impact Import Costs? - Duration: 1:10.
Understanding the impact of exchange rate movements can help your bottom line.
Even if you pay in U.S. dollars, currency fluctuations will have an effect on your import costs.
A strong dollar reduces your purchasing costs, while dollar weakness increases them.
But even when the dollar is strong, you may end up incurring additional expense.
That's because by paying in U.S. Dollars, you're transferring the risk of currency
movement to the overseas company you're buying from.
To compensate for this, exporters generally build in a risk premium.
This can add more than 5% to the price they offer you.
By managing this risk yourself and converting to an exporter's currency, you'll have
greater control over the price you pay.

Why Transact in Foreign Currencies? - Duration: 1:32.
Whether you're entering one or multiple overseas markets, your choice of transaction
currency will impact your bottom line.
To help with your decision, let's take an example where your company buys from a supplier
in Brazil.
If you pay in U.S. dollars, the supplier will need to convert to local currency.
Because of exchange rate uncertainty, they may build in a currency risk premium to compensate
for fluctuations.
Paying in Brazilian Real can eliminate this premium, and so may reduce your costs.
And converting funds yourself offers complete visibility into the rates you receive.
As local currency payments are typically credited to suppliers more quickly, you may be able
to negotiate more favorable payment terms. Let's say you also decide to sell into Europe.
Selling in Euros could make your product more competitive in local markets.
You may attract buyers who can't or won't pay in U.S. Dollars or manage exchange rate
risk themselves.
And you may be able to increase pricing over time, since
you're offering customers the convenience of paying in their own currency.

Pomegranate with Eggs | Narnumru | Aзербайджанская Кухня: Яичница-Глазунья с Гранатом - Нарнумрy - Duration: 3:28.
Hi guys. Welcome to AZCookbook. I'm Feride. Today we are making a very
delicious and exotic dish that is well known in one particular region in
Azerbaijan, in the region of Salyan. And it's made with pomegranate arils and
eggs. It's quite a stunning looking dish. It's perfect for breakfast, for brunch.
I hope you guys try to make it and impress your friends. Let's get started!
These are the ingredients that we'll need. You'll notice that we only have a few of them
here on the table. I have one small onion chopped finely and it's about a half a
cup of chopped onion. I have two cups of fresh pomegranate arils,
2 eggs, about 3 tablespoons of butter, salt and pepper, and just a little
bit of olive oil. I'm going to melt the butter in the pan. I'm using unsalted
butter and to prevent it from burning I will add just a little bit of olive oil
but you're welcome to use clarified butter which is really the traditional
way of making this dish. In that case don't use olive oil. To the butter
I'm adding the onion. I'm going to cook the onion until it's very light golden,
about 10 minutes or less. The onion is nice and light golden. To the onion I'm
adding the fresh pomegranate arils. I'm going to cover the pan and cook this mixture for about 7, 8,
10 minutes, until the pomegranate arils release some of the juices but they're
still fresh. Pomegranate arils are ready, they released some of the juices, they are
tender, yet they retained their freshness. I'm ready to break the eggs into the
pomegranate. this is good for 2 servings, so think
about 1 cup of pomegranate per 1 egg and I have 2 cups of pomegranate arils
and 2 eggs today.
Some salt, pepper and I'll let it cook until the egg whites are set and the egg yolks are
set as well but just a little bit jiggly. Our pomegranates and eggs are ready.
This dish is actually called narnumru in Azerbaijan. Take a closer look, the
eggs are cooked. I'm going to leave the egg yolks a little bit
undercooked, I like it that way. But feel free to cook them more if you want. Pomegranate arils are
beautifully cooked, they're tender and fresh still. And I'm going to try and see
how we did. Traditionally this is served with bread, crusty bread and this exactly what
I'm gonna do. You guys. It is probably the most exotic dish on earth.
The pomegranate arils are still a little fresh which is great, they're
a little crunchy and there is this sweetness from the onions,
absolutely beautiful, they pair so well together. I hope you try this exotic dish.
