In this video, I will show you the easy way to do the Halloween smuggler's 3 stages.
The recording app crashed at the end where I do final check for zombies so sorry about that. Also the app cannot record the in-game audio either so sorry.
Pause to read the text. Due to limited time of the event, I don't want to take too long with it.
Now I will show you what you will need.
2 ranged weapons, 2-3 fast melee weapons, 2-3 stack of food, 1 high durability torch, 1 set of full durability armor.
Depending on what you got, you may wanna bring a spare like I do. The stronger the weapon, the less hit you will take and less dmg to armor. The better your armor is, the less dmg you will take and less heal needed.
If you bring 2 full durability machetes, you probably only used up one and a bit of another. Bring a water bottle if you want to do it all in one go like I do.
I used tier 1 armor here in this video to see how I can still complete with only tier 1 armor if done properly.
First, look for 3 zombies easiest to bring to the base. I already know where they are by now.
Like I just did, stand in the opposite of where you want it to go. Then swap in and swap out the torch quickly with your melee weapon.
Then keep repeating the process
Watch out for any zombies spawning. Killing them is your priority here before moving on.
The thing is the spawn timer start ticking whenever you hold the torch and they spawn in waves.
So I try to minimize that by doing what I did.
The trick here in based on other videos where the zombie will move all the way to the other side if it is trapped and there is an open space on the other side. It applies to the cage too.
I need to move it further away to avoid having it move back to this side so just take those damage.
Peace and quiet
As you can see the zombies have spawned, time to kill them off to prevent them from amassing.
Tom, you got nothing but help out XD
Run away and kill the fast biters first.
You don't need to do this part but I wanna do 1 shot 1 kill with bow later.
Where is Tom? O_O?
Whatever -_-
Now time for some target practice with my bow :D
Avoid melee with crowd zombies if there are more than 1 or 2 of them obviously.
They might not hurt you much but the number of hits will eat up your armor quickly.
About bows, the longer you charge, the more damage you deal. Charging too much will result in a miss or enemy landing hits.
Also, with that charge delay, using it against faster enemies is a bad idea tho I did do it with a faster Frenzied Giant. I got killed because of a lag FYI.
I did a number on him before he killed me but I can only do quick charge so heavy cost on bow durability.
You normally only need 3 shots to kill crowd zombies. 4 if you got timing. 5 if you are really bad and only land 8 dmg each time.
Green or easy stage ends with spawning a bloater. I clear fast enough to not spawn that one now.
Yeah, similiar to the old smuggler event.
For yellow or normal stage, after the bloater, it will spawn a toxic abomination and another one if you take too long.
The spawn stopped when it spawned all the zombies (The bloater in Green) or you clear the stage.
Go out the map and back in to be able to start another stage
See that tip? That's what I talked about earlier.
Now just repeat the process. For yellow, it only spawn some crowd zombies and a few fast biters on first wave.
Replenish your food in your pocket or replace your stuffs if needed when it is safe.
This time I will make use of Tom. As he won't heal without medkits, I don't wanna give him anything.
He already ran away with my high durability golf club once and again with my high durability hockey stick.
The location of these numb zombies is random each time within certain area. This time it is farther.
I let Tom aggro the zombies and then I deal a heavy dmg to them. Then I let him finish up.
Less weapon and armor durability consumed, why not? :D
I love the machete XD
I bring 2 machetes the last time and it only cost me one and a bit on another. Same with bow.
Always keep your melee weapon up.
Done, now for the hard part.....
I don't even spawn those 3 (1 Bloater & 2 Abominations)
Their appearance is delayed to the next stage. Poor guys.
From what I see, bow is the same as gun when it comes to getting attention.
I drank the water cause it's already around 50 thirst.
The last time, I'm forced to eat food out of hunger and thirst. That cost me much more food despite taking little dmg from zombies.
That's what I get for going all the way the last time.
For the red / hard stage, it is going to be a bit harder..... yeah just a bit.
Your killing priority is based on speed so Fast Biters > Bloaters + Abominations > Crowd Zombies
Bye Tom, have a nice day
You need to be careful about moving them to the left side of the base cause they can get stuck.
Don't move 2 into the same cage either. I did by accident once and it only counted as 1.
Move them to the front area with the crates first.
Wooops
Do what you want with how you swap the torch but I prefer having my food ready at all time.
I forgot that I can just hold the button XD
*Missed
*Missed again
Not this time :D
That just now was what I call a quick charge or quick shot.
Less dmg but it's for the killing blow anyway.
Avoid engaging multiple enemies for the sake of your HP and armor durability
The rest is pretty much just me running around killing the zombies, move numb guys into the cage and look around for any leftover zombies
The video crashed just as I do my final check.... sorry about that
I didn't notice it so I even show the loots.... RIP
Might as well, tell you what they were
Just the good stuffs
For green, I got another machete, a rubber part and 7 bandages
For yellow, I got a Glock with red sight, tact boot, SWAT pants, 5 oak logs, 6 aluminium bars, 1 red and yellow ticket, and a weapon crate
With M16 in it and ohh I forgot that 1 candy and bandage but never mind
For red, a shotgun, SWAT armor and pants, 1 engine part, 5 copper ore and 3 bars, 1 fur, 2 medkits, 1 bandage, a red ticket and 5 candies.
All of the chest got paints
I'm not sure how many bloaters and abominations in total for red stage cause I never spawn all of them
Well, I will show the costs at the end.
My golf club deal 12 dmg less than the machete so it broke before I can clear
Now for the costs.
Most of my armor durability, about a stack and a half for food, the rest of my machete and a golf club, a small portion of torch, a bow and about a portion on the other one, almost half of my devastator (Thz goodness I brought it XD) and a water bottle.
You might lose the whole armor and here come the crash. Thanks for watching and good luck!!
