Waching daily Oct 30 2017

Hey guys it's Kaitlyn here the Frugal Millennial so I have just finished my

first month of Smile Direct Club and I want to share a couple things that I've

learned in the past four weeks

so the first thing I've learned is that every time you put in a new set of

aligners it's going to be uncomfortable for the first three ish days and that's

just your teeth getting used to fitting into the new aligners and shifting space

so nothing was as bad as the first time I ever put them in but it does hurt

every time you put them in the second thing I've noticed is that my oral

health is probably as good as it's ever been and as good as it's ever going to

get I brush my teeth four to five times a day and floss that often because every

time you want to consume something that's not water you have to take them

out consume it eat it drink it brush your teeth floss your teeth clean your

liners and then put them back in so it's a bit of a painstaking process but

nonetheless I think my teeth are actually whiter because I brush with

whitening toothpaste four and five times a day and I am pretty sure I'm not going

to get a cavity any time soon the third thing that I want to share that I've

learned the last month is that it's actually really inconvenient to go out

to eat when you have your aligners and that's because you have to I mean you

could take them out the table I usually go to the bathroom take them out come

back eat and then depending on if I'm going straight home or somewhere else I

have to brush my teeth in the public bathroom which is really awkward often

usually people are looking at me because I carry around my electric toothbrush

I'm brush my teeth in like a Chili's bathroom so not the most glamorous but I

think my teeth are actually starting to shift I'm seeing a little bit of a

change nothing major because I still have five more months to go no I have

six more months to go on this so I really haven't done this for very long

in terms of my overall plan but you can go ahead and see my before and my

current pictures of my teeth and I think that you can see at least I think I can

see a little minor shift in teeth which is really exciting so I like

Weight loss diet: THIS household item could help you lose belly fat

Eating right is one thing, but having the motivation to go to the gym can be one of the biggest struggles.  Despite being based Down Under, obesity expert Nick Fuller says the same goes for many Australians.  Dr Fuller, from Sydney, Australia, told My Body and Soul around 70 per cent of Australians fail to meet the recommended guidelines for exercise and "a measly 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity" five days a week.  He added: "When we add in some exercise we are only getting to the actual recommended level for general heart health population guidelines.

To add to the frustration, we often start activities we don't even enjoy or won't stick to long-term, for example, going to the gym, or starting with a personal trainer. .

"So in frustration we quit, waste our money, and go back to our old ways, as it is all too hard and not fun." But Dr Fuller has a tip to get people in the gym.

His solution - headphones.  He said: "Research has shown that listening to music may improve your enjoyment and intensity while working out, which means you are more likely to shift those kilos for summer.  "Headphones prevent us from getting distracted and talking to our gym buddy or friends at the park." .

Protein shakes and bars are great for supporting muscle growth if consumed after a workout, but eating them before can be a disaster. This is because protein digests slowly, so could cause unwelcome digestive problems.

An alternative breakfast that won't cause these issues is oatmeal, as it is high in carbohydrate but low in fibre.

Spicy food is known to help with the weight loss process, but should be avoided before a workout. This is because exercising with spicy food in your stomach may lead to heartburn or indigestion.

Surprisingly, salad can cause issues - but it depends on what kind is eaten. Raw vegetables should be avoided, Terry Wahls, MD, and author of The Wahls Protocol revealed.
