Waching daily Jun 4 2018

Tylar ninja Blevins has become a household name he's been featured on the

news he's exploding on Twitch and a lot of people watch this guy on a daily

basis just to play a video game but the question we're asking today is why isn't

injured not only the best at fortnight but why is he the best life advice stay

tuned

what is up everybody this is Chris from the rewired soul where we talk about the

problem but focus on the solution if you are new to my channel I'm always making

videos to help you out with your mental health so make sure that you subscribe

and stay tuned but yeah so before I get into the topic

of Tyler ninja Blevins I just wanted to talk about myself for a second because a

lot of you are new here you don't know me that well but anyways I actually used

to be in the professional gaming scene a long time ago like gaming has always

been a huge huge huge part of my life but if you want to learn more about my

eSports career go ahead and check out the info card up there I made an entire

video about my rise in the eSports industry and my fall due to addiction so

lately I've been really getting into fortnight I actually kind of got into it

when my girlfriend and I went to go visit her family I was playing with her

little brothers I'm like this is actually kind of fun it's awesome

because now my son and I we get to play it I'm a workaholic and this has been

kind of like my full-time I make all these videos for you beautiful people

out there and four-night has kind of been like my relaxing time and more

quality time I get to spend with my son anyway Oh put my epic games name right

here it's mstc boot man if you want to add me and you

want to play sometime I've played with a couple of this subscribers we have a

blast so if you want to add me go for it but also my son and I stream over on my

second channel it's called Billy and dad I kind of let my son run the show but

anyways do me a favor if I have ever provided you with any value any value

whatsoever go ahead check out the dilly and dad

YouTube channel and subscribe let's try to get my little boy up to a

thousand subscribers okay so anyways anyways I uh kept fortnight so if you

play with me just be warned I suck but something I like to do I like to watch

twitch streamers ninjas one of my favorites what I'm doing other things

are just passing the time I'll just have ninjas stream up and I'm watching him

play but for those of you who don't know how to work people can donate money and

things like that to help support the streamer it's kind of like what we do

here on YouTube with super chats and things like that and sometimes ninja

gets donations and he'll read people's comments and people ask questions and

what I've been fascinated by and this is the real topic of this video what I've

been fascinated by is that people ask ninja for like life advice really

interesting I mean I recommend if you're actually depressed which I obviously

believe the jar say you are you should reach out to like it's like ayat risk to

talk to somebody about it and working on proving your life while using my stream

as an outlet to be happy obviously but you can't just only rely on my stream

I'm sitting there I'm just so fascinated by it I'm so fascinated by human nature

like he is a professional gamer why are people asking him life advice so the

quick disclaimer I want to throw out there before I dive into this topic even

further is I want all of you out there to know that I am NOT this all-knowing

being I want you guys to question me if you check out the comments I'm very

active in there I love back-and-forth I love kind of debating and discussing

topics not in a mean way but like I'm always open to new ideas because I don't

know everything so I do want to say that like my word is not like the ultimate

authority I appreciate you all coming to me for my knowledge of my experience but

I do want you to go out and try these things and see what works for you and

maybe give me some new information that maybe I can make videos on but I think

it's a point that we always look at the source the source of where this

information is coming from and why we hold certain people to such high

standards if any of you watch my Nicole Arbour

video where she was depression shaming people only one person can get you out

of depression and that is you on your head I was talking about that like why

would anybody take mental health advice from her right so when it comes to ninja

when it comes to ninja he's actually a great guy he is a really really good

person if you see other people talking about

ninja he's just a nice guy who tries to be as selfless as possible he tries to

give back over on his twitch stream he's on fundraising for different charitable

organizations like st. Jude's and he does other streams where he raises money

for other organizations something else that he does is that he tries to help

out other streamers and get their name out there because he has such a massive

audience he's a really really good person so like even though I'm telling

you to check the source like ninjas actually a really good role model

recently he's gotten some pushback from fans because he's trying to tone down

his language because he acknowledges that he has a young audience people like

blank this is just a really good guy like he's not constantly thinking about

himself so when I when I work with clients so when I talk to other people

struggling with their mental health and or just a life that's unmanageable you

know I often say like try to ask yourself what would this person say what

would this person do in that situation somebody that you look up to someone who

you think has a good moral code ask yourself that and that'll kind of help

guide your thinking and guide your actions because a lot of us a lot of us

struggle from poor mental health because we run off our own thoughts on our own

actions which keep getting us into trouble but for example Tyler ninja

Blevins like yes he is a world-famous twitch streamer the dude is making

millions of dollars right but he is completely honest with people he says

look the only reason I'm allowed to do what I do is because I put school first

I went to school I did all my homework I passed tests I got good grades and then

I would come home and I would grind in video games like he's setting a good

exam for kids but I want you to kind of

question yourself and ask yourself like who are the people you know in the

celebrity limelight that you're looking up to you know is it like is it people

like ninja no is it people like I don't know the Kardashians you know what I'm

saying and like that's just really important because I see so many people

who just assume this person is rich and famous so they must lead a good life and

when you think about that like those two things don't often go together like

there's no reason why those two things should correlate like just because a

person acts and they're in movies and on TV does it make them a good person

automatically just because a person owns a business or makes a lot of money

doesn't automatically make them a good person like for example I often say this

to my clients and I'm gonna say it to all of you too I do my best to be the

exact same person that you see here outside right so if you were to meet me

just on the streets I wouldn't just want a piece of jerk and you'd be like oh wow

that guy is way different in this videos you know all of the traits that I give

you through these videos I try to do them to the best of my ability when I'm

out in public as well so just kind of keep that in mind I just want you guys

to kind of start asking yourself who do you look up to who do you idolize and

why is that why is that let's do this let's do a fun game down in the comments

below tell me maybe somebody in celebrity culture who you look up to and

tell me why tell me why I'm interested to see is that money as a fame as a

fortune or is it because they get involved with charities is it because

they help other people out you know what I mean so anyways anyways again please

please please like I said if I provided you any value ever ever ever go check

out my son's channel Dilli and Dad I will link it in the description

subscribe to his channel let's try to get this kid to a thousand subscribers

alright but anyways if you like this video please give it a thumbs up and if

you are new here again I'm always making videos to help you out with your mental

health make sure you click that little brown subscribe button and if you want

to check out some other videos on this channel you can click the top right

there actually there's the e sports video right there alright thanks again

so so much for watching and I'll see you next time

Career Tips: Get a Job Created for You from the Unadvertised (Hidden) Job Market - Duration: 8:00.

Hey Tammy Kabell with Career Resume Consulting and today I'd like to talk

about how to get a job created for you from scratch. Meaning, didn't exist

before and you actually talked yourself into something that would be absolutely

perfect because it uses all of your strengths. So that's what we're going to

talk about today and I actually made a quick diagram to explain how you get

into that hidden job market that you always hear about. You don't even know what it

is. You don't know how to get to it unless you actually like know

somebody who can get you and make an introduction for you into a job or into

a hiring manager. So I want to talk about how to get a job created for you from

scratch. Reason being that a surprising number of our clients get jobs created

for them. It happens all the time actually and it's because of timing. So

let me show you the diagram that I put together for you today. So I'd quickly

like to go over this pretty rudimentary diagram of how you get into the hidden

job market and when you think about the hidden job market it's really any kind

of creation of a position or filling of a position where it's not posted online.

So when you think about the timeline of what happens in a cycle of from the

beginning of a pain point to the actual hiring there's a lot of months that

happen that for instance between the pain point actually happening and the

identification of the pain point and then there's a few months that go by

before they decide to actually hire and this is going to be

the decision maker or the hiring manager and then it takes time for the hiring

manager to coordinate with HR and all of the other stakeholders and actually take

an action to hire and then there's a few weeks that HR works on it in order to

create a public posting and then it ends up in about 2 to 16 weeks of a public

hiring taking place. So when you look at this diagram and feel free to pause the

video and really look at this in detail. What you're talking about

in getting into the hidden job market is really nothing more than approaching a

decision maker between the time that there is a pain point that develops and

then the public posting so there's a lot of months there that go by that you can

get into talking with a decision maker prior to there being lots of competitors

so again pause this if you have if you want to look into it in more detail

now you're probably wondering, okay, how do I do that? Well I'll give you one

secret and and that is you can use LinkedIn. A lot of things are happening

on LinkedIn. As a matter of fact the latest numbers that I've seen are

seventy five percent of employers and ninety-four percent of recruiters use

LinkedIn as their exclusive form of finding their next executive talent. In

other words you've got to have a great robust LinkedIn profile in order to be

seen by executive recruiters and and even hiring managers and by hiring

managers I mean decision makers people that could actually create a position

because they're looking for somebody like you. You've got to be seen so you've

got to have a robust LinkedIn profile. That's the first thing but you can

proactively do a search on LinkedIn for the type of company that you want to

work for, the type of hiring manager or or decision maker that you would be

looking for. In other words the person that would be your boss inside the type

of company that you would want to work for. Now we actually have a program where

we've got this on somewhat of an autopilot where it actually connects

with up to hundreds of people even per day and so you can really build a large

database or a large connection network of hiring managers decision-makers in a

short amount of time. If you're interested in that I will

leave all of our contact information at the description and also in the first

part of the comments. So feel free to reach out to me or our our main line and

and I can have a coach talk to you personally about that service. But

it's something that you can also do by yourself if you wanted to try it out by

yourself. But keep in mind you have to have a great message

online, in other words, on your LinkedIn profile. If you're gonna try to connect

with someone you've got to be attractive to them from the very beginning that

very first glance that they look at you and they spend a couple of seconds

looking at your picture, your beautiful picture, your name and then your job

title underneath. Now what I recommend to do in order to capture their attention,

change that job title to a value proposition statement. You can do this

even if you are fully employed right now and what I mean by a value proposition

statement is, instead of Director of Operations, perhaps it's saving market

leading companies millions of dollars per year through smart process

improvement. Maybe that's what you're known for as a director of operations or

a VP of Operations even. So think about going back to positioning yourself, think

about how you would position yourself at a first glance with someone and what

would you say to them if you had one sentence to sum up what you do better

than anyone else. So put that on your LinkedIn profile. I think you will find

that you will get more attention from the hidden job market and when you're

going after the hidden job market proactively you'll get more attention as

well. Alright, I hope this has helped you and if you like what you heard

consider subscribing. If you loved what you heard give me a thumbs up I'd love

to see those and of course I would love to hear about your success if you use

this technique and it works for you because it's worked for our clients

hundreds of clients actually over the past ten years

a few thousand clients and they've they've done really well. So please try

to use this I think you'll find that it will do well for you even if you're

looking for a less than a six-figure job or it will it will work in any kind of

position and so if you have any questions put them in the comment

section below and I will talk to you soon. Have a

wonderful week and take care, thanks, bye now.
