I have a question for you... - Duration: 1:05.
Hey guys, Jules Lund here from TRIBE, having one of those beautiful moments
I'm in Central Park in New York City and it's spring and I got off a flight last
night from San Fran. A few days before that, I was in Hyde Park in London and I
wanted to ask you a question: When you sweat the small stuff,
what is your tactic for giving yourself perspective? Because I'm having a magic
moment now and I feel really blessed in life but it's amazing how I just have my
head so far up my ass, stressing about the little things and I shouldn't need
to have cherry blossoms and ducks and sunshine in order for me to go: "Life is
beautiful". So I wonder what it is that you say to yourself? What are the tactics
that enable you to have an attitude for gratitude? Because I need to feel this
more often and just snap out of the everyday life so I'll be interested in
your comments but from Central Park to you: Life is good!

Relationships can be exciting; can be scary.
It's more like a tightrope to walk
balancing values tradition and culture with the person that I am.
I've just come out of a very serious relationship. We're still friends, we can still talk.
What have I done wrong to not meet that person? It really shook me.
It's not
always bad there are people who will love you regardless.

When talking about the future, there's definitely a lot of questions that jump
to mind.
You don't know what's gonna happen, so I guess there's a little bit
of anxiety surrounding that.
I've just been feeling quite scared about where
things are going for me in the future.
You don't want to seek out support when
you feel like you're a burden. Take a risk and see what comes of it and then
you've got nothing to lose in reaching out to people.

Home life is rough at the moment.
In one sense it'll be ok here I go into another
battle or here I go into a sanctuary.
What happened between my mom and dad has really affected my sister and I.
My mom was diagnosed with brain cancer.
It's really hard.
Someone having been through a similar experience can just really help
you not feel alone.

WHY JAPAN HATES CROWS and WHY YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL - Duration: 3:27.
But in front of the streets ... the crows come and pick it apart
and have been eating what the humans have been eating, which means
the crows here are huge in Tokyo and Japan.
What he's done is put out his hangers
and they got stolen by the crows
Hey guys, it's Cathy Cat and today
We're gonna talk about crows, which are in Japanese "KARAS"
And if you come to Tokyo you need to be aware of certain things
because they're very different from your country
And you need to let it be a little bit careful with them.
First of all, my German image was crows are actually kind of small
and they don't do anything they don't do harm, and you don't really see them that often
In the UK there's even a rhyme for them like one. What was it again?
one for ... wait a second...
1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl, 4 for a boy, 5 for silver
6 for gold, 7 for a secret never to be told so
my friend always looked out that is it's two crows together
because they come in pairs and some of them enjoyed seeing crows because they
saw it as a good sign of good luck
Now in Tokyo...
be careful guys!
Because Japanese people put their garbage out in front of the streets
the crows come and pick it apart and have been eating
what the humans have been eating which means the crows here are huge!
Seriously, they are like double the size of what I see in Germany
I didn't even recognize them in Germany at first because they're so small in comparison
They're huge, and they're very intelligent
So don't mess with them don't shoo them a randomly away, and don't feed them
because they can get very aggressive
They snatch stuff from people and they can attack people
like one example was a friend of mine
he shoot them away from his window ...
... he shooed them away because they were annoying him in the morning
Closed his window and his insect window, which is like a net.
When he came back from work. They had all grouped together and hacked his
Insect window apart, because they were angry. They ganged up on him,
so don't upset them and don't befriend them.
Just try to stay away from them
That's my advice.
Another thing that the director of ask Japanese added .... between
March and May that's nesting season for crows in Tokyo and Japan.
And what he's done, he put out his hangers and they got stolen by the crows
so during those seasons be careful when you
Hang-up your washing outside of your window because your hangers might get stolen
Also!
If you know there's a nest of crows next to you don't go there
like we had one on the top of our company and while that nest was there
we couldn't go on the top floor because they would come and attack people
so be careful about that.
So that was a quick fact about crows in Japan
Let us know are they as dangerous in your country or actually maybe not?
Let us know. They're highly intelligent so just be careful when you come to Tokyo
Hope this helped. Let me know. Looking forward to your comments,
and I catch you soon on ask Japanese. Bye

Reach out before you opt out. - Duration: 0:31.
When I think of online I think of a certain ideal that is trying to be
portrayed and you don't need to do that.
It can either be harmful or helpful.
I'm addicted to my phone – I've got two Instagram accounts.
There's that massive pressure to be pretty, essentially.
It's not a bad thing to paint a picture of what you want to be.
But sometimes it can be detrimental because it's an
unrealistic picture.

When I hear the word school I think of exams and how much I hate them.
I definitely did feel that pressure to be masculine.
I put a lot of pressure on myself to succeed.
I used to get bullied all the time.
I definitely got caught up bullying and also stood by when I saw it happening.
You might feel like you're alone but, trust me, everybody has these problems.
