Man got lost

Someone is there.

Who are you?

Armor, afro hair, Moogle... It's a costume parade?

This is not costumes! I'm real Moogle!

What! Is it speaking?

Well, you are...

I'm Laguna. I'm on a journey and I found myself here somehow.

Monsters attack me, and I don't know how to go back. I'm at a loss.

You doesn't look having a trouble.

But I feel strong will of light from him!

W i l l o f l i g h t?

Only those who have the will of light can close the distortions of dimension.

We are traveling to close the distortions of dimension. Would you come with us?

Oh...

I got... nothing!

Thank you for your invitation. I'll see.

See you around. Take care.

We didn't talk enough yet, but he left...

Backup

Hi costume parade's guys. How are you doing?

You are still here! I'm happy to see you again!

Could you join us?

Well. I didn't understand well actually. Could you explain more?

What is the distortions of dimension? Why are you closing them?

Monsters come out from them.

And the distortions affect the structure of this world. We are to stop that.

So... you are heroes who save the world?

And I'm scouted by the heros...

Wow. That's so cool! I'm excited.

Would you join us?

Well. If you are just fighting against monsters, I supposed to decline. But you have reason to fight.

Anti-violence... You look easy-going, but you are thinking logically, huh.

Hey! Monsters!

May I ask your help?

Sure. This is the first work as a hero.

I'll be in charge of this side. This is backup!

Can I trust you?

Yeah. I survived in battle fields. I'll show you.

After cleaning up, let's gather again!

Cheer up

We made it!

Hey. You are done? I'm done too.

I saw you are good at fighting.

You mentioned battlefield earlier. Are you a soldier?

No. I quitted army because of some reasons. I'm just a traveler now.

By the way. I guess there are someone who control monsters. Do you know something?

If we knew already, we are not here now.

I see. It's not easy, huh.

Anyway, closing the disposition of dimension is our goal for now.

Not disposition..., but distortion...

Didn't say so? Anyway, never mind detail things.

When you need help, please rely on me!

Master of Spira

Oh you are Yuna.

Master Seymour!

It's surprising that you are here.

Oh my... Why are you here?

Because of the gift of Yevon, we see each other again.

Yuna. Do you know him?

He is Master Seymour Guado.

Who are they? From other worlds?

Yes...

I'm traveling with them to close the distortions of dimension from which monsters come out.

Oh... I see. It's called distortion of dimension.

If you are Yuna's friend, why don't you come with us? You looks strong.

No thanks. Go ahead. I have something to do here.

I appreciate your consideration. May our travels go safely.

I'm gonna go. Take care.

Never mind. He can go his way.

He was mysterious. I wonder whether he is light or darkness.

Yeah. He had strong magic power, but he contains something like shadow.

But don't mention it to Yuna.

It's nonsense to make her anxious.

You are right. Let's focus on our goal.

Penelo's worry

We have come very far.

I'd never imagined when I was in my world.

Aren't you worried? We are in unknown world and involved in uncertain thing.

Are you worried?

A little bit. I experienced many things.

You are a real worrier.

I also worry a bit, but rather, I look forward.

Oh, you are always easy going.

Hey guys, let's...

Ah. Did I disturb you?...

Disturb? What are you talking about?

No no! Rem. Thank you.

You grew up togather, right?

Yes, we did.

I always worry because he is reckless.

Hey, don't treat me like a child.

That's true. You are still child. You shouldn't be involved in dangerous things...

I don't like...

Haha. You are good friends.

It's wonderful to have someone worry about you.

Do you have someone like that?

Yeah. I don't know he is here or not though.

I see. I hope he is fine.

Thank you. Let's go?

How To Be More Confident!!! - Duration: 10:15.

hey guys it's Matt from Macro lean and in this video we're talking about

confidence. How to be more confident! Now, confidence is split into two areas. Your

inner confidence, your core confidence and your outer confidence. But inner

confidence is where it all begins so let's get into it. Inner confidence/ core

confidence is where it all begins and if you don't feel confident inside. In your

inner being. In your core. It doesn't matter what bravado, what mask you put

on to the outside world. You're still gonna fill un-aligned, you're still gonna

feel uneasy in yourself. So through my journey in

this lifetime of self-development and improving myself I have whittled it down

to being confident is really accepting who you are. Self-acceptance which

ultimately is self-love. Now that might sound cheesy, it might sound corny, and if

you've been in the self development world for a bit

reading books, going to seminars watching webinars

you've probably heard "You have to love yourself, you have to accept yourself" and

I heard this many years ago and it resonated with me. But then I also

thought how do I love myself, you know how do I accept myself. And really self

love is pure acceptance, acceptance of who you are. Your flaws, your

imperfections, your true being. Because if you accept yourself you can

love yourself and then you can be confident with who you are. But if you're

always rejecting parts of yourself?? you're never going to truly feel

confident and if I consciously tell you "accept yourself feel more confident". You

might know this consciously but if your subconscious which really rules you is

not taking this on as a true belief it's never going to happen.

Think of your conscious mind as the tip of an iceberg and your subconscious mind

at the submerged part. The submerged part is a much bigger and that's what's really

running you. your beliefs, your values is your subconscious so to

address self-acceptance we have to address the sub conscious. You can talk

about it all day "love yourself, accept yourself" But if

you're conscience isn't taking it on. You're

getting nowhere. So how do you do this? well first off we need to look back to why

we're feeling unconfident. It could be for a number of reasons. It could be

because of your childhood, it could be because of past trauma, it could be for a

bad relationship. There are a number of reasons and everyone is different.

Everyone is on a different path on a different journey but the bottom line is

somewhere in your subconscious you've taken it on as a belief an untrue belief

that you are not enough, and you won't accept yourself. So a process that I

learned quite a few years ago is going back to your childhood in your

subconscious mind and accepting yourself. Between the ages of 0-7

your subconscious mind is dominant. It's the dominant force from the age of zero

to seven. You're learning about the world, you're learning about boundaries, you're

learning about how things work and basically your mind is a malleable, it's

soft, itis plastic and you're soaking things up. And if some faulty programming

has gone on then, which it most likely has for a lot of us we're going to take on

these subconscious beliefs that aren't true and aren't serving us. So a few

years ago I discovered a process which I've used quite a bit and I felt it

helped me and I hope it can help you. and basically what you're going to do is

you're going to sit down and do some deep breathing into

a meditative state. Slow your breathing down and

try and empty your mind. After this you're going to visualize a smaller

version of yourself, a young version of yourself probably two, three or four around

the toddler age or very very young child. You're very innocent, you're very pure

and you're gonna see that small you in your mind's eye. What you're gonna do is

you're gonna pick up that small you, you're going to connect with that small

you, and you're going to accept that small you, that real you for everything

that it is. This is a very, very powerful technique and don't be

surprised if you become very, very emotional when this happens but it's a

good thing. You are releasing the parts of you that are not accepting maybe your

childhood issues or maybe issues in your past.

So I would sit down somewhere quiet I would take 10 to 20 deep breaths to slow

yourself down and bring yourself into a calm, meditative state and then I would

visualize a small you. The young child you were and you can see yourself

running around, you can see yourself playing. And I want you to visualize in

your mind's eye walking over and picking up that small you and holding them in your arms.

Looking into the eyes of a small you, and telling you that "you love you", that

you've accept you and that you will never abandon you again. and I want you

to hug that small you and when it fills time ,when it feels right I want you to

bring that small you. That energy into you, I want to you to unite the small you

and the adult you together and this is a very powerful way of starting the

healing process. Starting the acceptance process because if you do not accept you for

who you really are you will never have core confidence. You also need to be

aware that everyone is cut from the same cloth.

No one is different from anyone. If someone is better at certain thing

that's because they have more experience than you. It's not because you can't do

it. If you're telling yourself I can't do this, that person's better than me, that

person's more talented than me. That is not true! That is your ego trying to get

in the way! "No one is cut from a different cloth" so when you start to

realize this and look out into the world and see other people are

successful and I can be successful to.o Your confidence will also start to

increase. Another way that you can start to reprogram your mind, reprogram the

neural pathways with positive emotions is when you feel yourself maybe feeling

anxious, nervous or un-confident. You can start to repeat short positive powerful

affirmations to yourself, for example something as simple as "yes I can".." yes I

can do it".... "of course I can do it" and when I feel

anxious, nervous and un-confident I will repeat these affirmations to myself 10,

20,30 times. It's just to reprogram that mind and affirm that you can do anything,

you are the captain of your own ship, you control what goes on, and you control

your mind. After you've worked on your inner confidence your core confidence

you want to tie this together with your outer confidence and do a few things

with your physiology. This means basically your body and this is what

confident people do in most situations. Number one is eye contact, very very good

eye contact that displays confidence, that conveys you are confident. Someone who

is unconfident or shifty will be talking and they'll be looking away, they'll be

looking down, they'll be looking to the side and they might flick back and they

might look away. This doesn't convey a confident person, a confident person has

good posture and very good eye contact . The way I'm looking into the

lens now. BTW this isn't psycho scary over-the-top dramatic eye contact! This

is very calm, just look into the lens, look into people's eyes. This is how we

read people. And especially for guys if you're speaking to a girl that you like!

A girl will subconsciously be looking into your eyes to see if you are

congruent. If you're a man of your thought, word and action and if you have

crazy eye contact and you're looking away, looking down and you're feeling nervous

this doesn't convey confidence. But I don't care if you are a man or woman young or old. Eye

contact is very very important to convey confidence. Next comes a vocal projection.

When someone speaks soft and low "excuse me do you have the time" again this

doesn't convey confidence "Excuse me do you have the time please, thank you very

much" Good vocal tonality... again I don't care if you're a guy or a girl. Having

good vocal tonality will convey confidence. Confident people aren't

worried about what other people think, they can go and speak to strangers,

they can deal with interviews, they can deal with meetings, they can do public

speaking. They're confident in themselves and it all ties together good posture,

good eye contact, good vocal tonality. So having a good

tone in your voice, not speaking too quiet. Not looking away, looking people in the

eye and speaking clearly. Sometimes you can speak slowly sometimes you can speed

up. But really having a strong vocal tonality will convey confidence in you.

The last tip here is a mix of inner and outer confidence and it's basically

coming from a frame, a thought pattern that 'whatever you say has value' why?? because

you're saying it! You love yourself and this isn't a narcissistic unhealthy I'm

the best", I'm superior" love. This is self-acceptance okay, this isn't speaking

over other people, ignoring what they say or talking about yourself all the time

because that's fucking boring and that's not confidence that's actually

insecurity. It's if you want to say something it has value because you want

to say it. You're going through life being the best person you can, being a

positive influence and you have value. Come from that frame, come from that

mindset 'that whatever you do, whatever you say'

has value, and if you can tie that with inner and outer confidence together you will

feel more confident and you will appear more confident. And that is my top tips

on inner and outer confidence.

Job Interview in English - How to Answer Job Interview Questions in English - Duration: 20:57.

Hi, I'm Gina.

Welcome to Oxford Online English!

In this lesson, you can learn how to answer job interview questions in English.

Have you ever had a job interview in English?

If English is not your first language, answering job interview questions in English can add

stress to the experience.

However, there are some simple, effective tips you can use to give better answers to

job interview questions in clear, natural English.

You'll learn about these tips and tricks during this lesson!

You'll see eight common job interview questions and four different techniques you can use.

You'll see how to answer these common job interview questions, using the techniques

we'll show you.

Let's start with our eight common job interview questions.

Tell me a little about yourself.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

What are your strengths/weaknesses?

What is your leadership style?

Can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated ----?

--> For example, can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated strong leadership?

Or, can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated excellent customer service?

Tell me about a time you dealt with a challenging situation at work.

Why do you want this job?

Why should we hire you?

What does concise mean?

It means that you don't waste words.

If you speak concisely, you get right to the point and don't add anything unnecessary

to your answer.

Let's look at two questions in this section:

Tell me a little about yourself.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

These are very common job interview questions, and they're also very open questions.

Open questions can be dangerous.

Do you know why?

It's because you might ramble.

Ramble means to talk a lot without saying much.

This won't give the interviewer a good impression!

Let's start by looking at a sample answer to the question tell me a little about yourself.

Well, I was born in a small town in northern Italy, where I also went to school.

I studied engineering at university and then…

So, after I graduated…

I mean, I did a master's degree first, but then I worked for a small firm in my hometown

for a few years, which was great fun.

After that…

Okay, we can stop there.

Do you think this is a good answer?

Why or why not?

It's not a very good answer.

Why not?

There are three things the candidate does which you should try to avoid:

One: the candidate includes lots of unnecessary details.

Two: he doesn't speak in full sentences.

Three: he doesn't have any clear direction.

If you do these things, your answer to this answer will be long and unfocused.

What's the solution?

You need to be more concise.

But how?

First, avoid unnecessary details.

Don't give your entire work history; the interviewers can get that from your CV if

they want it.

Secondly, speak in full sentences with a clear beginning and end.

This means you need to be thinking ahead while you speak.

Thirdly, think about what you want to highlight in your answer, and put it at the beginning.

This will give your answer a clear direction.

Let's look at some examples of this:

I've always loved designing and building things, so I suppose it's natural that I

became an engineer.

I've worked in a variety of roles and companies, which I've learned a lot from, but now I'm

ready for a new challenge.

What do you think?

Better?

It's much better.

Let's look at the start.

Immediately, the candidate identifies a key feature (he loves designing and building things),

and links it to his engineering career.

The candidate's answer is very concise: there are no unnecessary details, and it also

has a clear end.

What about our second question?

Here's one possible answer:

There are many things I could be doing.

I'd like to have, you know, some sort of progress…

What I mean is that I don't just want to be doing the same things I'm doing now.

I like to be moving forward in my career, for example…

Err…

I definitely see myself in a better position than I am now.

Good answer?

Bad answer?

Okay, it's not terrible, but it could be much better.

The candidate is rambling.

She doesn't make her point clear, she doesn't speak in full sentences, and she wastes words

on unclear and unnecessary ideas.

Here's a better answer:

I don't know exactly, but the most important thing is that I continue to learn and grow

in my career.

I'm the kind of person who needs new challenges to stay focused.

I might even start my own business, because that's something I've always wanted to

do at some point in my life.

This is much more concise.

The candidate's answer has a clear beginning and end, and doesn't waste words.

So, what can you do to make your answers more concise?

The best way to practise is to record yourself speaking.

You could record yourself answering these two questions.

Then, listen to yourself.

Try to find sentences which you don't finish, or words which don't add anything to your

meaning.

Then, try again.

Keep practising until your answer is clean and focused.

Next, let's look at another point which will make your answers clearer and more structured:

signposting language.

Signposting language means words and phrases which show your listener where you're going.

For example, the words 'for example' are signposting language.

When I say for example, you know I'm about to give you an example.

Simple, right?

Yes, but it's also very important.

Without signposting language, longer answers can lose focus and be hard to follow.

You'll see answers to two questions in this section:

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

What is your leadership style?

Let's look at a sample answer to the first question.

I'm very good at working with other people.

In my last job, I always tried to encourage my colleagues and create a good atmosphere.

I suppose I can be a little bit careless sometimes.

I'm not the kind of person who focuses on details.

I'm very calm, and I can keep a cool head in very stressful situations.

What do you think?

It's not bad, but it could be hard to follow.

The candidate jumps around a lot.

Adding signposting language can make a big difference.

Let's see how. Notice that the content is exactly the same.

We haven't changed the candidate's basic ideas at all.

However, the answer is now much clearer and easier to follow.

Using signposting language like this can make a big difference!

Let's look at our second question for this section.

What is your leadership style?

Look at a sample answer which doesn't use signposting language.

I'm quite a hands-off manager.

If one of my team has a project, I'll keep an eye on things, but I don't need to be

involved in every detail.

I'm very approachable.

I make sure my team know they can come to me with problems or questions at any time.

I like to lead from the front.

If everyone's working late to meet a deadline, I make sure I'm there with them.

Now, look at some signposting language you could use in this answer.

Now, you have a job to do!

I want you to pause the video and put these signposting phrases into the answer you just

saw.

Go on, pause the video and do it now!

Ready?

Let's look at the answers:

How did you do?

Were you able to use the signposting language?

Remember, signposting language might seem very simple, but don't forget about it.

Using signposting language well makes your answers much clearer and easier to follow.

Now, let's look at another way to make your answers more structured, clearer and

more focused.

You'll see answers to these two questions in this section.

Can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated -----?

Tell me about a time you dealt with a challenging situation at work.

These questions are likely to need longer answers.

With longer answers, it's really important that your answers have a clear structure.

Otherwise, your meaning might get lost!

There's a method you can use here; it's called the STAR method.

STAR means situation, task, action, result.

So, you start your answer by giving the context: what was the situation, and what did you have

to do?

Then, you talk about what you actually did, and what the end result was.

Let's do an example together.

Can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated excellent customer service?

Let's use the STAR method.

There was one time when a customer's order hadn't arrived, and we didn't know what

had happened to it.

The customer was very unhappy, and I had to try to solve the problem for him.

I arranged for a replacement to be sent, thinking we could find out what happened to the previous

order later.

In the end, the customer was happy that I could solve his problem quickly and simply.

You see how following this method lets you build clear, structured answers?

situation, task,

action, result

Let's do another example.

Think about our second question.

Tell me about a time you dealt with a challenging situation at work.

This time, you're going to try!

Pause the video and make an answer to this question.

Your answer should be four sentences long.

Follow the STAR method, one sentence for each part.

How was that?

Did you find it easy to make your own answer?

Let's look at one way you could answer this question.

Once, we realised three days before a project deadline that two of our teams were using

incompatible software tools.

As the project manager, I had to find a way to deal with this without causing any delays.

I talked to both team leaders and we made a plan for one team to convert their work

into a different format, with help from some staff from other departments.

It was very close but we managed to get everything done on time.

Again, you can see the STAR method in action:

situation, task,

action, result.

If you combine this STAR method with the signposting language you learned about in part two, you'll

be able to express yourself clearly in English, even in longer and more complex answers.

Finally, let's look at another tip you can use to impress your interviewer and increase

your chances of getting that job offer!

You're going to learn about mirroring and how it can help you.

What does mirroring mean?

It means using some of the same words and expressions as the person you're talking

to.

For example, if the interviewer asks you:

How do you think your values fit our company culture?

You could start your answer by saying:

I think my values are a good fit for your company culture for two reasons.

One…

Mirroring has several benefits.

First, it keeps your answers focused.

By using the same words and phrases, your answer will be relevant.

More importantly, it shows the interviewer that you're listening and that you care

about the questions and the company.

Mirroring is powerful.

We unconsciously mirror people when we like or respect them.

Using mirroring consciously will help you to make a better impression.

You should start by researching the company you're applying to.

How do they describe themselves?

What adjectives do they use on their website or in their advertising?

Also, read the job advertisement carefully.

Pay attention to the words they use to describe the candidate they're looking for.

Use these words in your answers.

Let's think about this question:

Why do you want this job?

Imagine you're applying to a company which describes itself as 'innovative' and 'forward-looking'.

In the job advertisement, they say they want someone who is 'creative' and 'flexible'.

Here's a good sample answer:

Creativity is very important to me, and I've always wanted to work in an environment where

I can innovate and find my own solutions to challenges.

I also feel that your company will continue to evolve in the future, and I like the idea

of contributing to that development.

The candidate doesn't use all four words, but she does reference all four ideas.

For example, instead of 'forward-looking', she talks about the company evolving in the

future.

In this way, she shows that she's in tune with the company's values.

Let's do one more example.

Imagine you're applying to a company which describes itself as 'commanding respect'

and which talks with pride about its long history.

In the job advertisement, they say they want someone who has 'great communication skills'

and 'passion for helping others'.

During the interview, they ask:

Why should we hire you?

Here's a good sample answer, using mirroring.

I believe that great customer service starts with good communication, which is a strength

of mine.

I also think that in customer service, you need to care about what you're doing.

I care about helping others and as such I believe you would find me to be a respectful

and effective team member who can fit with the established traditions of your company.

Again, the candidate doesn't necessarily use the words directly, but he does reference

all four of the ideas.

Be careful if you use mirroring; you don't want to sound like a robot!

This is why you sometimes need to change words and phrases slightly, instead of repeating

them again and again.

Now, you've seen four effective techniques you can use to give better answers to job

interview questions in English.

Remember: be concise, use signposting language, use the STAR method to structure longer answers,

and mirror key words and phrases.

We hope it was useful.

Good luck if you have a job interview coming up soon!

Thanks for watching!

See you next time!

Get Yourself Locked Up in this Horror Themed Bar in Japan! - Duration: 1:36.

Like to be scared during your dinner?

The Lockup is a famous themed izakaya in Japan.

The drinking and eating bar is designed to be a mix

between a dungeon and a mental institution.

Once you get to the venue, you are guided to your private

dungeon, where you will get locked up for the night.

Everything is horror themed in the bar, from the waiters

to the crazy drinks and food.

The bar also has an extensive food roulette menu.

The concept is quite simple, you order a dish like sushi

or takoyaki and one of the bites will be spiked with

lots of wasabi or hot sauce.

Make your uneducated guess and see which of your friends

is the unlucky one.

However if you've come to Lockup

you're probably looking to get scared, and the bar delivers.

At certain random times during the night the lights

switch off, the creepy music and Japanese schoolgirl voice

starts playing and the creeps come out.

They wear horrific costumes,

burst into your dungeon, throw stuff around the hallways

and do their best to scare you.

You know what's going to happen,

you know the costumes aren't that frightening,

but for some reason, it's just always so damn scary.

Hibernate Tip: How to delete child entities from a many-to-one association - Duration: 3:06.

Hi,

I'm Thorben Janssen from thoughts-on-java.org with a new Hibernate Tip.

For some many-to-one associations, the child entity

can't exist without its parent.

A typical example is the OrderItem which can't exist without the Order.

When you remove the association between the OrderItem and the Order,

you need to delete that OrderItem entity as well.

So, what's the easiest way to implement that?

The JPA specification provides the orphanRemoval feature for these use cases.

When you activate it on the association,

Hibernate removes a child entity

when you remove its association to the parent entity.

Let's take a look at an example.

In most online bookstores, customers can review the offered books.

You can model that with a Book

and a Review entity

and a one-to-many association between them.

It doesn't make any sense to store a Review that's not associated with a Book.

So, you should set the orphanRemoval attribute

of the OneToMany association to true.

And you also need to set the cascade attribute

to CascadeType.PERSIST

or CascadeType.ALL.

When you now remove a Review entity from the association

that's modeled by the List reviews attribute,

Hibernate will delete the Review entity from the database.

As you can see in the log messages,

Hibernate performs 2 SQL SELECT statements

to get the Book entity with id 1

and all associated Review entities.

And when I commit the transaction,

it also performs an SQL DELETE operation

to remove the Review entity from the database.

OK, that's it for today.

If you want to learn more about Hibernate,

you should join the free Thoughts on Java Library.

It gives you free access to a lot of member-only content

like an ebook about the Java 8 support in Hibernate,

a printable PDF version of this Hibernate Tip,

lots of cheat sheets and a video course.

I'll add the link to it to the video description below.

See you next week for a new Hibernate Tip

and if you like today's video,

please give it thumbs up and subscribe below.
