Did you spot this awkward live TV gaffe this morning?

Hosting the Lorraine programme over half-term, Christine Lampard revealed who the new Dancing on Ice judge was in an exclusive announcement.

As Jason Gardiner, the famously acid-tongued judge who was hotly-tipped to be returning to the show, made his way to the sofa, he made a bit of a blunder.

Giving former Dancing On Ice presenter Christine a big hug, it seems the pair got caught up in all the excitement.

Their microphones somehow got tangled together, with the mics roughly pulling at Christines outfit as Jason made his way to sit down.

Im caught! Christine told Jason, with the pair roughly trying to untangle each other in a hurry.

Slotting his mic back onto his lapel, Christine said: There we go, were back in business, were sorted.

Even my dress got excited, it couldnt contain it. The Aussie TV Mr Nasty previously starred in every season of the deep-freeze dancing show, except for 2012 when he was briefly replaced by Louie Spence.

He was a firm favourite amongst viewers for his savage put-downs and often harsh critique.

Jason found himself in hot water back in 2010 when he crudely compared Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies routine as looking like faecal matter that wouldnt flush. Ofcom saw over 400 complaints about the comment, which saw Jason having to apologise live on This Morning.

But viewers are excited about his return to the new series of Dancing On Ice, with Christine telling him: It just feels right with you there..

Jason will be joining former coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and BGT winner Ashley Banjo on the judging panel.

While the official line-up is yet to be confirmed, X Factor star Jake Quickenden is believed to sign up to the show to sex up the competition.
