"Getting rap lessons from Personality HipHop pioneer Giriboy"

You really don't know anything..omg

you're lacking in the theory

OK let's start

G R BOYZ

2018 August Rookie artist "NO:EL" in the studio

Ah...

(reading his comments) "the level of noel's lyrics..."

"You're calling this a song?"

You try making a song yourself then..!

Jvcki wai..

I shall study (music) listening to this person's songs

This nuna's gestures are so weird

This guy's so fucking handsome

He's so skinny tho (shameless)

He's insane

Do I need to do something like that

(swings poster from the upgrade 3 album on the wall in his studio.. lol)

Ah.. I'm ruined

I'm good usually

But I rapped too much

so I can't think of the lyrics

I'm really sorry, for not showing you my best

(PDs) What do you think of getting rap lessons?

Rap lessons?

From who?

We invited a rapper that you really like

Shall we go?

Oh sh*t

Hello

oh fuck, Giriboy?!

Isn't that Giriboy?

Be quiet

I was in the middle of image training

Who are you?

I'm NO:EL who's actively promoting in Hongdae

Ah really? I don't watch TV so..

Sit comfortably

(NO:EL kneeling on the floor lmao)

Sit here

So what's up?

I'm here for rap lesson

Rap lesson? Oh..

Do you have anything you can show?

Should I do it without music?

That's up to you

That's not for me to decide

YO

CHECK

..do.. do

It's predictable you see

It's predictable

Try again

..it bro

They're all so predictable

Do something new

I'm Jung Sangsoo

Representing busan

Oh that was good!

You're quite good

But one thing about you is

you're lacking in the theoretical part

sorry..

you're sorry?

why?

Don't touch your ring

You have tattoo?

You tattooed all these?

No, this is just a scar

OH SCAR....SCAR ARMS

repeat after me

scar arms

scar aRMS

scar aRMS

too many tat.. tattoo..

too many tattoo

too many TATtoo

too many TATtoo

thats right

I mentioned that theory is important right

I can't just teach you..

There's this thing in hiphop culture

there's a culture called Deposit

NO:EL: I'm hongdae hiphop so I'm not familiar with that

Ah... you don't know..

I'm just saying.. there's a culture like that

You have Toss? (*an app that you can transfer money to other bank account)

- Toss? - Yea

Yes I do

I'll offer you a cheaper price

I'll teach you at 800 thousand won (~716 USD)

Then I shall.. deposit in via Toss

Tell me once the deposit's done

Yep, I just deposited it.

Okay! I'll start!

First, the definition of hiphop

(he writing it as Hippop instead of hiphop LOL)

What is hiphop?

Culture?

Try again

passion?

That's true too.. but I'll tell you accurately

Definition of Hiphop

Hippop

E

Ran

which means

hip

pop

is

egg

(at loss of words)

Hiphop is EGG.

There's a saying in Hiphop

Does the egg come first or the chicken?

Egg.

NO

Chicken.

NO

Fried chicken comes first.

You got it?

Hiphop is Fried Chicken!

Where do you see lots of this?

Gidiboy's

album that will be released on 22nd july, there's a song called fried chicken

(making eye contact) THERE'S A SONG CALLED FRIED CHICKEN

There's 4 main components of Hiphop

what is it

money

NO

fried chicken

NO

half seasoned chicken

NO

rapper

you're a rapper right

(LUPPER???)

Whats the second?

producer

correct

PRODUCER

whats next

equipments

your equipments have to be good

whats the last one

fillers?

you're really clueless..

What's the last one

Moral

So what does a rapper do?

they rap and make albums

and go clubbing. that's a rapper

Lapper - the act of going clubbing

aka Giriboy

This is Rapper.

What's Producer?

the act of making beats

correct

or Giriboy

THATS RIGHT

you're getting pretty good at this

so what's equipment

thats a little difficult

difficult right?

these

if you don't have equipments, you cant rap

you shouldn't rap

you should do it with good equipments

that's equipment also known as equipment manias

which means Lapper also means equipment manias

I should note this down

You haven't been noting down??

yes, write it

(noel's writing "wow he talks loads of bullshit)

the last one Dodeok (which means Moral)

whats the full word of this? (*Dodeok = Dok2 and the Quiett)

Dok2 The Quiett

Oh...? I got it correct?

We can test your morality

How many hate comments do you have?

you know rappers like swings?

monster rapper

for swings, all these applies to him except moral

for rappers like Swings, they have around 600 thousand hate comments

(he wrote "Monster Rapper Swings OUT")

we'll do a test now

Choose the person that has the greatest moral

1. Swings who greet people well

2. Swings who has great manners

3. Swings who wears I4p clothes

4. listening to Giriboy's album instead of Flex brings me more money

4?

thats right

correct answer

why do you think this is wrong?

he greets people well, but he doesnt listen to giriboy's album

and also, the most important one, (bcs its swings)

what about this?

the same, bcs its Swings

why is 3 wrong?

if Swings wears I4p clothes, they won't sell

I didnt think of that

That's too mean to Swings

What I had in mind was he doesn't match the clothes

so its wrong.

so the right answer is

repeat after me

Listening to Giriboy's album instead of Flex brings in more money for me

You should say Giriboy instead of me

whats coming out on july 22nd?

high tech..

people still dont know about it

because it got buried by Flex

So now you know basically everything about Hiphop

You're already good

Even your eyes look different now

Aigoo I'm scared

Do you wanna eat something?

I'll make you something nice

I'll make you kimchi fried rice

Why are you looking so intimidated

Be comfortable

You can't feel intimidated meeting a giant

OK it's starting

OK put this in

cut it in pieces

you're still a baby right

an adult like me, we eat big pieces

but you're still a baby

thats why im doing it like this

you're not really outspoken

you're quite shy right

yep, i'm shy. - thats good

it's not good to talk too much

what happens if you talk too much?

become like swings

YES

are you hungry?

yes im hungry

then should i put 2 servings of rice or only one

well, if hyung is hungry then..

i'm not going to eat

if you're not going to eat, then i'll only have one

OK GOT IT

I'll show you the skills

you do hiphop right

what did I say about hiphop

Hiphop is egg.

We put in the hiphop egg

you dropped eggshells in it..

where?

it doesnt matter

this is the khiphop scene

this is hiphop

we'll go in

the hiphop's coming in to ur body

what u gon do? shdnt u prepare to receive it?

are u ready?

ok 1 2 3

OK we became one

we have to wait now

shd we taste it

i'll give u meat

its good right

i'll give u the egg

hiphop

should we go eat in the room?

use this book to put the pan

isnt this important to you?

no

try it

wait

how is it

its good!

it's good?

really?

should I have a bite

isnt it good?

do we have an extra spoon?

I'm not going to eat

are you on diet?

- yes - me too.

it's so difficult to lose weight

but still we have to try hard to do it

eat moderately

got it?

(moderately)

do exercises.

- oh hyung you exercise now? - yea

if you exercise, the male hormones get released, do you see this?

I hit the wall, no joke yesterday

too many hormones secreted

everyone's avoiding me

and this I tried to do something out of my comfort zone

tattoos

thats so hardcore

its important to have a reversal charm

i look scary but behind the stage, i'm cute

you cannot just have a strong character like me

there's no charm to that

losing weight is really hard

but even so, i overcame it

this is tasty

you ate a lot?

pardon?

you ate a lot?

yes i ate a lot

i made this because of you

but now it looks like i made it for myself to eat

we finished eating.. you ate well right

yes

you should clean up

should i send you home?

really? - yes

omg i'm honoured (soul-less)

you should take this notebook too

you learned a lot today right

yes you helped me so much

if you dont listen to me, you'll become like that

with long hair

you worked hard

this is nothing much but its something u need when u make music

its a book (title: Personality is a skill)

its a good book, a hiphop book

Personality's a ski- hahha

and this is when u write lyrics

it's good when u write lyrics

hyung if you dont mind, can i -

i mind, but what is it?

can you take a picture with me?

okay

wait

okay

upload the second one if youre uploading it

hyung i'm really grateful, can I hug you?

(no)

hug??

yes?

thats what those people who do ballad does

yes thats it

and here

go in

Exercise and App Developers - Duration: 4:55.

Hey, this is the Daily Overpass. My name is Eric and I make apps. Today let's talk about,

Exercise and App developers.

Okay so I just had a workout at the gym. For the last couple of years I've been

going to the gym regularly. Well when I say regularly I do fall off the wagon

from time to time but for the last six about six weeks I've been going five

days a week so I feel a lot better about it but I don't consider myself a gym

person so I was heading out this morning one of my kids said hey Dad won't you do

your video from the gym and I said because I've seen myself in the gym you

know I I have an app developers body and that might not be fair because I'm sure

there's a lot of you guys out there who are really fit and exercise a lot but I

have a little bit of a potbelly and you know it's it's really strange because we

work in a job where you could sit at your easily sit in my chair for six

hours at a time right and you know you guys have probably seen the stand-up

desk that I have in my office I don't use that thing as often as I should so

exercise is something that I think that we have to make an extra effort for I

think in our profession you see when I was in the Army being physically fit was

part of the job I mean I was a linguist so yeah I saw to meet army standards I

wasn't like a ranger or anything but I'll to meet army standards and if I

didn't if you weren't physically fit they can throw you out but as a software

developer luckily thank goodness we don't have those kind of those kind of

criteria and my diet is not as good as it should be so I do try to make the

effort to exercise regularly like I said I'm I'm right now are you mama on a gym

kick right it's not gonna last forever the enthusiasm will wane but I'm gonna

try to milk it for as much as I can my enthusiasm icing by saying the gradual

gains and everything like that now for the longest time I just run I prefer to

run than I do going to the gym because when you go out and run I think it's

just because I like being by myself I think it's just that introvert a part of

me you go out for a run you put on some music put on the headphones and you just

daydream you just think about things but you know over the last couple years I

think it's because my metabolism slows down as I get older and I said and I

started reading some books about weight training and I thought I've never been a

gym guy I'm I was always intimidated by the gym because you go into the gym and

you see the biggest guy who knows what he's doing he's always been going there

for years and he spends three or four hours a day there and he's really buff

and you're thinking yeah this isn't the place for me but

I've kind of gotten over that now which is it was just a lot nicer so it's just

something we never talked about this before and well yeah when I told my kids

I'm not gonna film anything in the gym I did film a little bit there you can see

that I'm not yeah I got a little bit of a potbelly but I'm working on it and

we'll see how that goes all right so my question to you guys is

because I'm really curious how other developers and we do consider and you do

anything for for physical fitness or is it you just find you your day is active

enough you get up and walk around and everything like that see much see the

irony of it is the gym so I'm standing right next to outside the gym and the

office is right back over there I can see the office from the gym so it's

really convenient and I drove to the gym it's about two hours from from my house

I could have run here but you know so yeah so there's always that so my

question to you guys is what do you as a software developer what do you do for

exercise do you do you do anything specifically do you try to stand up and

work do you go for a run do you do weight training and how has that helped

you do you think it helps you in terms of doing your job you know your

creativity or anything like that because I find yeah I find it does help me

especially you before when I don't do any exercise especially after I've had

lunch which is usually maybe a bigger lunch that I should have sometimes you

know you have that sleepy feeling and you just take a nap but if I just got an

exercise instead I do feel a lot better sometimes I I get depressed like if I

get really depressed about things I think I need to get out and go for a run

or do some sort of exercise just you know because I just know my body just

needs it so and like I said this is not I am NOT a gym guy so this is the last

video I will ever do from the gym in my gym clothes so anyway I just wanna know

what kind of stuff do you guys do and that's it for today I'll talk to you

again tomorrow

5 Interesting Indian Conspiracy Theories that might be True (Part-1) - Duration: 4:16.

Conspiracy theories have been around since the beginning of the time.

It is not something new and the most disturbing part is some of them even seem to be true.

Before starting, hit that Subscribe button and press the bell icon to be a part of our notification squad.

Here is the list of 5 Interesting Indian Conspiracy Theories that might be True.

5 The Nine Unknown Men

According to the theory, around 270 BC, Mauryan Emperor Asoka set up a secret society called

"The Nine Unknown Men" that still exists today who were to preserve and develop knowledge

that would be dangerous to humanity if it fell into the wrong hands.

The nine unknown men were entrusted with guarding nine books of secret knowledge.

These books were based on warfare, sociology, communication, alchemy, death, microbiology,

light, gravity and cosmology.

If this theory is true then you can imagine how much power these 9 men hold.

4 2004 tsunami triggered by a dormant World War II nuclear bomb

Conspiracy theorists suggest that the 2004 Tsunami was actually caused due to a Nuclear

Bomb-Testing went wrong.

The result was that it triggered an earthquake and a series of devastating Tsunamis that

destroyed coastal areas and took thousands of lives.

It was proved almost 70 years ago that triggering a Tsunami is possible.

During the Second World War, the United States and New Zealand armies secretly carried out

Bomb-testing on the coast of New Zealand.

The reason behind it was to develop a bomb that could trigger a Tsunami due to the electromagnetic

waves, and would thus destroy a whole coastal area in one go. This theory has scientific

backing and doesn't seem that far-fetched after all.

3 Does India Really Have Its Own UFO Base

UFO theories are probably one of the most talked about.

Some people say that India's very own Area 51 - Kongka La Pass in J&K actually incorporates

a UFO base.

Locals of both India and China claim to have seen UFOs.

However, authorities have burst this bubble claiming that these UFOs are nothing but Chinese

gaslights.

Tourists are denied entry to this area in spite of having permits to travel between

the two countries.

This theory is given credence due to the fact that in June 2006, satellite imagery on Google

Earth revealed a 1:500 scale detailed terrain model of the area in question on the Chinese

side of the border.

This model was surrounded by buildings resembling a military facility suggesting that was indeed

something fishy about the area.

2 Did Gandhiji Want Bhagat Singh Dead

Many conspiracy theorists believe that the

Mahatma could've used his influence to stop Bhagat Singh's execution.

But he chose not to intervene because Singh's violent methods were a direct challenge to

his ideology and were gaining popularity in the nation.

A second theory suggests that Gandhiji was actually actively involved in his capture

and execution because Bhagat Singh had become a threat as the leader of the Independence

movement.

It is said that while Gandhiji appreciated Bhagat Singh's patriotism, he never approved

of his methods.

1 Is India still a colony of the UK

Even though India became independent in 1947, it is still a part of the Commonwealth

of nations, suggesting that the Queen of England still exerted influence over it.

The Queen also allegedly can travel without a visa to any Commonwealth nation.

This conspiracy theory gained strength when Queen Elizabeth II visited India in 1997 without

a visa.

Furthermore, the theory also says that our national anthem (Jana Gana Mana) was originally

written in honor of the Queen as the song only features territories that were under

British India.

Which one of these do you think are true? Make sure to comment down below.

We will soon be returning with the part 2 of this video. Till then, stay tuned.

Thank you so much for watching. Write it down in the comments if you have any video ideas

for us and watch the previous stuff we know you will love too.

Stop giving yourself away for free. You'll make more cash! - Duration: 5:22.

Hey everyone! welcome to bizmagicTV I'm Jessica Hansen, the systems magician,

and I will turn your chaos into order. we are here today talking about

boundaries. so comment and subscribe to this channel. go ahead and comment 'yes' if

you are excited about figuring out what's going on with your boundaries. so

I've got three areas here - oh I've got my pen in my hand! - how about that? - three

areas... three areas... that you need to consider your boundaries in order to be

a total success in your life and in your business. the first one is within your

business. so decide upfront every week or every month - every so often - how much of

your time are you going to give away.

that sounds kind of crazy to think about but if you're able to decide how much

time you are able to give away to people then you know where to draw the line

when somebody's asking you to do something or to give them advice or for

them to pick your brain. if you've already met your quota for the month of

giveaway time then there's no reason for you to meet with somebody else

to give them some of your time as well. the other place that you can have good

boundaries in your business is when you decide what you're working on with

someone. do you actually write the statement of

work for your jobs for each of your projects, for each of your clients?

because if you don't you're giving away free time and free resources to that

person. so make sure that you are very clear and you write out a statement of

work every time someone hires you. it doesn't take very long, it's easy to find

a template, you can create your own. it doesn't have to

be fancy. you just want to make sure that you have everything outlined. the benefits of

these boundaries are so so great you are gonna have more cash. more cash in your

business! who would ever say no to that?you're also going to make sure when

you have those super clear boundaries about what time you have and what things

you do that you're spending your time on only the useful things in your business.

you're not wasting your time on people and tasks that aren't gonna bring you

that cash. so the second area of your business that you want to have really

good boundaries is around your friends are you available anytime they need

something from you? are they used to just being able to hop on the phone and go

out and party every single night with you? stop! planning ahead is not a crime!

you need to make sure that your friends know what nights you're available to

hang out and how often you can chat with them on the phone. just like when you're

giving time away to your business clients, you want to make sure that you

have time set aside for your friends so that it's not infringing on the things that

you're actually trying to get done. and you know what there's a third place that

you need to have good boundaries in your business. and that is with your family.

make sure you have good boundaries about what time you're working and what time

you're not with your significant other. why? because this is going to cause a lot

less stress. there's not going to be misunderstandings about what you're

actually working on that day or where you're working from. especially if you

work from home. if you walk in your office you're working. make it clear. make

it a boundary. if you have to shut the door to make that boundary clear. it's

totally fine. not a big deal. the other thing with your family that you're gonna

need is with your kids. if you are working and

you have your kids around you make sure that you set the expectation upfront.

tell your kids what you're working on, whether or not you can be disturbed, and

what is the reward for good behavior at the end when you're finished working. it

works miracles! your kids are gonna be happier, you're gonna be happier, you're

not gonna have as many interruptions and you're gonna get more done. who can argue

with that? so boundaries - if you don't have them

create them! click on subscribe, love this content, go ahead and click on the link

in the description to go visit my website and book your intensive. if you

want to learn how to delegate, get things on track, and really get your business

going, save yourself time and money - then get in on this intensive. have an amazing

day!

Oil Pipelines: What Are The Pros and Cons? - Duration: 10:43.

From cost and effectiveness to the potential impacts on the environment...stay tuned to

number 1 to hear both sides of the pipeline pros and cons!

Number 10: Effectiveness.

Starting off with a pro...throughout the ages, the most important aspect of economy was effectiveness.

Commerce has depended on the speed of delivery.

Without it, there is economic system.

And this is precisely why pipelines are important for today's economy...they make the transport

of liquid and gas products much easier and faster.

I mean, trains are fast as well, but they have their limitations.

For example, a train needs to stop every now and then, plus there is the cost of personnel

and the cost of running the train, and this costs a lot of money.

Pipelines, on the other hand, require much less in maintenance and man power.

Plus, they are faster, because there is a constant flow of product, and no "train stops"

on the way.

In the long run, the amount of time and money saved through pipelines is staggering, and,

in the end, the economic benefits are passed on to you...the end consumer.

Number 9: Construction Cost.

And now for our first con...Pipelines are great once they're made, but to make them

is no easy feat.

In reality, pipelines cost a lot of money, and it's not that easy to actually build them.

First of all, there is the planning bit: a company needs to find a suitable route and

check the terrain, making sure that everything is up to industrial standards.

Then, there is the cost of work force and materials, which can be a lot, especially

if the work lasts for a longer period of time, which oftentimes it does.

And finally, there's the cost of safety precautions and maintenance, which add up to the overall

price.

In the end, the pipeline has to pay for itself relatively quickly in order to make it worth

doing it.

This is one of the reasons...if not the main reason...why we don't have more pipelines

around.

There would most likely be more if the cost of making one wouldn't be so high.

Number 8: Infrastructure.

Before we talk about the next pro of pipelines, we definitely want to ask you to like this

video and subscribe to our channel!

Don't forget to click that little notification bell, too!

We cannot talk about the transport of goods and materials without mentioning infrastructure.

Infrastructure is the lifeline of any economy.

For example, once the American railroad was completed, it completely transformed the nation's

economy...because it became an integral part of America's infrastructure.

And this is precisely why pipelines are great for economy...they are their own infrastructure.

Other means of transport, such as trucks and trains, depend on their own lines of transport,

such as highways and tracks, respectively.

Ships and boats, on the other hand, are limited by bodies of water and weather conditions.

Also, the specific terrain can be a big problem, since you cannot build a road or a railroad

anywhere you want.

But pipelines don't have any of these problems, because they can be laid in all kinds of terrain...and

they won't be affected by bad weather.

They can even be placed underwater.

Certainly, there are limitations, but they are fewer when compared to other means of

transport.

Number 7: No Flexibility.

Pipelines are good for different kinds of terrains, and they are used a lot, but there

is still a problem with their flexibility.

A highway's route can be modified to accommodate changes; a railroad can be displaced, too,

if need be...but this is very hard to do with pipelines.

Once a pipeline is laid down, it is practically fixed.

This can be a big problem...especially when it turns out that the pipeline route is not

that profitable, and this has happened more times than you think!

The tricky part is the actual construction.

Once the pipes are laid down, they are fixed and cannot be moved.

Well, they can be, but the process is very complicated and expensive.

The situation is even worse if the pipeline goes underground; in that case, the actual

relocation process is dreadful.

Just imagine the work that has to be done in order to dig up the earth, pull the pipes

out and relocate them!

A very serious investment, with a lot of risk involved.

Number 6: Ideal For Liquids And Gasses.

It's hard to find a better means of transport for liquids and gasses than pipelines.

First of all, pipelines are a controlled environment, which means that the health and disaster risks

are much lower.

Then, there's the shape.

The shape of pipelines is perfect for oil and other such materials, which is why they

grew in popularity of use throughout the decades.

If other materials were to be transported in such a way, maybe pipelines wouldn't be

so popular, but exploitation of liquids and gasses made them an absolute necessity.

Pipelines also beat other means of transport because they can be used to separate natural

gas liquids (butane, propane, ethane) from the raw natural gas product, and allow it

to be transported to the processing refinery.

This route...from the gas well directly to the refinery...is what makes pipelines irreplaceable.

Number 5: Fixed Capacity And Positioning.

This drawback is very similar to the previous one.

Once the pipeline is laid down, its capacity cannot be increased.

What does this mean?

Well, it's simple, really.

The pipes have a certain size (diameter) and it obviously cannot be changed.

If wider pipes are needed, after a pipeline has been made, it obviously cannot be done.

Well, again, it can be done but the cost would be enormous.

To be honest, a lot of research and calculation goes into the actual planning before any work

takes place, but there is still a lot of risk.

Furthermore, there is a problem of using pipes that are not too small, but too big.

This is especially tricky when pipelines are laid close to frequented roads and highways,

or in heavily populated urban areas.

When a road is being repaired, or some part of infrastructure is being changed, very often

pipelines get damaged in the process.

This, of course, happens completely by accident, but it has happened time and again.

Any kind of activity involving excavation is a potential risk to pipelines.

Number 4: Advanced Maintenance.

Among other things, pipelines are cost-effective because they require little maintenance.

For example, if we're talking about natural gas, along every pipeline route, there are

things called compressor stations.

These stations are positioned every 40 to 100 miles, and they use large, extremely powerful

compressors to press gas further and move it towards the refinery.

The gas travels at 25 miles an hour through the pipeline.

The amazing thing is that the entire pipeline network is covered with sensors that monitor

every aspect of the process.

The staff members along the pipeline route can measure the pressure, flow speed, and

temperature.

All of the information gathered is transferred further, to the control room, usually via

fiber optic feeds, but also by satellite.

In addition to this, all parts of equipment within a pipeline are carefully inspected

on a regular basis.

Even a single crack or malfunction can be detected on the spot.

Number 3: Spillage And Repair Cost.

Now, spillage doesn't happen that often; in fact, it's very rare, given all the variables

that come into play.

After all, companies are investing a lot in safety precautions, improving constantly,

year, by year.

But a spillage still can happen, and when it does...it can cost a company a lot.

You might think that the biggest cost is for damage control and repair...however, it's

something else.

The biggest cost goes for damages and possible lawsuits, especially if the spillage happened

on an area of special importance.

Companies dread the potential scenario of having to pay the insurance after a spillage,

but they have to.

And there are many factors that determine the actual cost of insurance, such as: the

size of the spill, the age of the pipeline at the moment of the spill, the location of

the spill, the type of material transported in the pipeline, the amount of loss that happened

in the spill, the weather conditions a given pipeline is exposed, and more.

Once the spillage takes place, the pipeline needs to be repaired, and the cost of this

can also be quite a bit.

Number 2: Increased Safety And Nature Protection.

The pipeline industry is very good when it comes to safety regulations, because there

is regular training provided for all pipeline workers.

Thus, the workers learn all about the implementation of new technologies, but they also expand

their knowledge on safety precautions and emergency procedures.

In the pipeline industry, there is a so-called "safety mindset," which means that everyone,

from the company president to the last worker down the ladder has a built-in mindset for

keeping work safety a priority.

And not only that, but there is a lot of attention dedicated to the protection of the environment.

The routes chosen are those with least detrimental impact, and after the construction of a pipeline,

the area is brought back to its original state.

The detrimental impact of construction is also minimalized because, during the actual

construction, numerous environmental experts are consulted.

Finally, a protection plan is created, just in case, to protect vegetation and the surroundings.

Number 1: No Broader Use.

Pipelines are, in a way, very limited.

Many consider this their biggest drawback, because they cannot be applied to all kinds

of materials.

If we compare them to other means of transport previously mentioned in this video, we can

see that highways and railroads can have (and do have) a much broader use.

All kinds of materials can be transported via trucks and trains, from livestock to log

wood.

And if we include ships, the list can go on and one.

In fact, the majority of the world trade is still done via ships, because they have the

most capacity out of all means of transport currently available (planes still have a long

way to do before they can compete with ships).

But pipelines are definitely limited, in the sense that they are only good for liquids

and gasses, such as oil and natural gas, to name a few.

Although, to be honest, many people question whether this can still be suggested as a "real"

drawback, because it wouldn't be fair to compare pipelines with other means of transport.

For what they are, pipelines are a fantastic improvement and addition to economic trade;

and we might see the time when they do find a broader use.

Let's have a bite shall we

so crunchy

Mmm!

*teeth check*

Today,

let's talk about 'happiness'

Ms Lee Junyoung, let's read her comment!

Boss!!

Bossss

Thank you bossss

the laptop is here!

"I want to know what's your standard of happiness? and your values in human relantionships!"

"As you know, in S Korea, we are pressured to go high up, and shows us that the more we have the happier we will be"

"so we think that in order to be happy, we should be successful, get a 'good' job, or go to a good college. At least I was taught like that."

"So I am confused of where to really find the real standard of happiness"

"I doget happiness from little things,

but is it true that I will be truly happy if I get the 'best' job that the society tells me?"

"I've been thinking a lot about this these days, and that's why I'm writing you this comment! And thank you for your videos!"

Thank you!

Yes, Junyoung, thanks for that comment

This question made me think, and also rethink my own values

So a lot of you guys have told me that Iook much comfortable and happy after getting married

But I think...aside from marriage

I think it's also my age?

My values kept changing over the years

For example, when I was a teenager my value was

which college I would get into. I thought that would make me happy.

Just daydreaming made me happy?

Frankly, I do not remember what exactly were my values when I was younger

but I think it was simpler

First, of course I put my value on my boyfriend

Also...daydreaming about getting rich? lol u know?

idk it was simple

and of course, the happiness that the society would show me

Like i.e: "getting a good job, going to a good college, which will equal to this amount of salary,"

"you'll be comfortable, you'll be happy"

I was happy to daydream about that? I was excited?

Then on my 20's, I worked on a lot of things, I met a lot of people,

and kept looking for my true values of happiness

But then...I noticed...why sadness finds me?

Why hardships happen even though I don't want it?

Then why do we LOOK for happiness, and fun?(and never the other way around?)

so do the hardships and sadness just naturally comes to me even though I never look for them?

And why do I have to 'work' for happiness??

I realized to be happy, I've got to work for it!

That was always in back of my mind

So then

the older I got, I got more experiences

I kept asking myself: "What is MY value of happiness?"

And to be honest, personally,

life didn't happen like I planned

For example,

I had a time that I put my values on work, till like, 26

Like all values were on work, money, honor

When I was in France, I noticed a documentary(korean)

The episode was on Kazakhstan, and there was this presentor who was experiencing the culture. I think it was a travel documentary

and I thought, "I could do that. I would be good at that!"

"I want to be in it"

I just thought about it(I actually wanted to produce a documentary one day when i'm rich or sth lol)

but then...coincidently, I got an opportunity to be on a documentary,

hence, one of my dream came true

and that wasn't...really planned! I just took the opportunity when I saw it

It was a great experience

but then, when it was all done

It felt so...empty! I felt this hollowness!

I was like, yeah, I did this!...

...so what??? What's after this?

I guess I had a reality check?

So after realizing it was done...

I realized that I didn't feel that...

"Wow!! Like I AM SO HAPPY!" kind of thing

I didn't feel that!

I just felt empty, hollow, vain, all that!

And then...after I started my Youtube channel

at the beginning I was like "If I just had 100,000 subscribers...that'll be it!"

"I will be satisfied! I will be happy!"

so I had that hope and dreams

I kept telling myself: When I get 100,000 subscribers, I will be happy

I was looking forward to it!

But then that day came,

I was like "and then what??"

"so what?"

"what's after this?"

so as I worked on my channel

I realized that, I should NOT put my values and happiness on money, fame, or work. Because that's dangerous

Money, fame, work....I realized it's something that I can't control

No matter how hard I work, this could end any time

and even though if I have a goal..

but wait, having goals and reaching for it is really important

working in general is really important. I think it's really meaningful to achieve certain goals. I think it's a part of living life.

but then putting my ALL my values of happiness on that

is not wise because it's something that I can't really control

That's what I decided

The most important thing is:

This is something I always think:

is to find something that will make me happy even if I lose my work, money, and honor

I want to have something that I can mould, and can hold on to

and something that I really care to mould is 'relationships'

that could be your friends, your family, your spouse,

even my children

so what's my standard of happiness?

I am still seeking and it's almost complete

My real value is...family

and LOVE.

So for example, Josh is my husband,

and when we got married

we PROMISED to be there when happy or SAD, rich or POOR

we promised to be together till we die

so as a wife, as a partner, my goal? is

even if it's hard, even if it's tough, or happy,

my duty is to LOVE this person, and take care of him

until his death...or my death

this is something that won't be broken

(I understand not everybody views marriage like this, but this is our opinion!)

So what we really value is

of course our job is really important, it's unquestionable that you have to work hard to live,

but we don't want to put our jobs before our relationship. That's what we agreed.

The most important thing is relationships

OUR relationship, and love, and family

also my parents and sister!

as long as I live, I will give them my unchanging love

That's my mindset these days!

As I've told you guys before

I told you that I don't see people who I can't along with

and that's because

I think because my view of life changed?

I focus on people who really care about me, who really love me, and I use my time to give that back

so naturally I think I just don't think about bad people cuz I don't have the time to

Life is short!

That's what I think guys

And also, I always know that when hard time hits me the good times will come

I ALWAYS have that hope

just having that ONE hope, it gets me going

I persevere

Maybe that's why I look more at peace

maybe?lol

But also don't forget I always show you only the good sides of my life on youtube!

it might look I'm happy infinitely!

But that's not true!

But don't forget guys that

life is just full of up and downs

but try not to go further down when you are down

you gotta try and work

When we run just looking forward

putting our values up there and try to run straight for it

we tend to miss what's around us

Just stop and look

who is making you happy?

what makes you happy? hobbies?

like cooking, eating?

for example I wanted to drink a lemonade

so i made one with ice, and enjoy my moment drinking it

I appreciate my moment

I appreciate little things

so yeah..that was a deep talk

I dunno if I communicate my thoughts clearly.

But that's my value right now

it could always change, of course

What is YOUR standard of happiness?
