Hey, guys, what's up?

This is a giveaway episode, we're doing a nice, big giveaway to celebrate the end of

summer and the beginning of fall, one of my favorite fishing seasons is fall, so I'm going

to set you guys up with some nice gear.

We kind of want to prepare you guys for fall fishing and kind of celebrate the nice summer

we had together.

Alright, let's go through the stuff that we're giving away this time.

So we've teamed up with KastKing, and, um, we're giving away a lot of really cool gear

that Brendon used while we were in Cabo, while we were in Cape Cod, this is all really useful

stuff.

Let's go through them, I want to show them.

Alright, first up: you guys have seen this in our ATVing episode, we took this rod with

us to um, we took this with us on an ATV tour, uh, on the beach, and this is an ATV---this

is an ATV tour, not a fishing tour.

Right.

So we have this in Erin's backpack with the reel, um, some Super Salty Squid Bait, and

uh, a Kodiak--a KastKing Kodiak reel, uh, and it all fit in the backpack really well,

we were driving around on the ATVs, we hit the beach for some pictures, and I took my

rod out, started catching some fish.

Oh, a trigger!

It was really awesome.

In the two minutes that we had you managed to catch some fish with this, and that was

really cool.

It's a really portable rod that you put in your backpack.

Good quality, I think it's valued at like, $50 or something, [yeah, I think it's something

something close to $50.

What is this one?

Oh, this is the knife.

This is the filet knife.

[Oooh] This one is a really sharp knife and uh, everyone needs a filet knife in their

bag, I'm ser--like, everybody needs a knife inside their tackle box and that's one of

the things I always forget, but I always really, really need.

[ If I had a nickel for everytime you asked, "Does anyone have a knife?"

] Especially because, like, I always use braid and I'm like, always trying to cut something

and I don't have anything to cut with and it's just a pain in the butt.

This leads me to the next product that we're giving away, the braid scissors.

] Keep this in your backpack, you can even keep this on your waist 'cause of this holster

right here, there's a knife-- there's a hook sharpening tool-- there's a hook sharpening

tool right on the end of it right here, but these scissors are going to be good in your

backpack.

You can out it on a lanyard right here that it comes with, but everyone needs a pair of

scissors as well, if you don't have aknife you need scissors, we're giving you both.

Next, a pair of polarized sunglasses, this is their brand new sunglasses that they've

come out with, um, they've got a whole new collection of different sunglasses now, before,

kinda wasn't my style, but they've got a lot of different styles now.

Okay, so this comes with the bag that comes with the glasses and also a nice little carrying

case, a nice little hard shell carrying case right here, so you don't scratch it up.

Wait , we've got more.

We have created, personally, Erin and I, Senko Skipper, has created, 3 Adventure Kits, and

these adventure kits, basically, provide you everything you need to know to go on a fishing

adventure, um, we've got three different adventure right now, we've got the uh, jetty adventure,

inlet and jetty fishing adventure, comes with all the rigs and all the knowledge you need

to know, uh, how to catch fish at the inlet or jetties, and then we've got a pier fishing

kit, same story, it's got a tackle box full of different terminal tackle to tie the rigs

that we're talking about inside the guide.

Each one of these adventure kits comes with an entire guide teaching you how to fish that

area, this is a pier-- during the fall, guys, these spots are lit up with fish, um, and

it's a shame when you're going there as a beginner and you're not able to catch the

fish and you kind of have to spend your time learning, uh and figuring out by trial and

I was wondering when I first started fishing these areas, and hopefull this will help put

Tentacles right here, which come with an entire set of squid tentacles, of squid legs, this

bait is a really versatile bait, because I don't fish it one way, there's many, many

ways that I like to fish the super salty squid.

I like to use the tentacles specifically for like, putting it as a trailer and putting

it- making it replicate, like a bait fish swimming through the water.

It's got a bunch of scent inside it and a lot of natural action so something I would

use a soft plastic for I will replace it with a tentacle because now it's infused with scent

and it's got that natural flow to it, you know?

just regular chunks, which are large strips.

Guys, this will last a while, uh, probably an entire week of solid fishing.

QuickBooks Online Bank Rules - Duration: 7:13.

Hi, Kerry here from MyQuickBookKeeping.

One of the ways you can use QuickBooks to really save you a lot of time is to set up

some bank rules to process transactions that come into your bank feed.

Once you've connected your bank to QuickBooks, it brings in all of your transactions automatically

and if it doesn't, you can click update on the corner and this shows all transactions

for review.

So today, we're going to set up some bank rules that will deal with some of these transactions

before you even have to look at them.

Let's have a look in a sample company now.

Select the banking tab on the left hand column.

And here we are at the For Review tab.

Now this is important.

These transactions are being pulled from the bank and here waiting to be dealt with.

As you can see, there are suggested matches for some items and others waiting for you

to categorize and add them.

Now, if this was our live file, we pop up here and click Update to bring in any transactions

that have been processed since this was last updated, which is moments ago.

So probably not necessary.

So at the top here, we have the tab Bank Rules.

We are going to go in here and we're going to make a new rule.

We are going to make a rule for A Rental.

For Money Going out, in all bank accounts.

When the bank text contains "A Rental" then the transaction type will be an expense,

payee will be "A Rental" and the category we are going to post this expense to will

be rental expense.

Here we go.

Equipment rental, right here.

Now, we have an option to automatically add to your books.

If you do this, then whenever a transaction comes in from A Rental, it will go straight

through, it won't hit that "for review" tab.

So let's just go do this now.

We'll save it.

Hop back to the banking tab and we can see we have these items here A Rental.

Oh only the credits left.

The others are gone.

Look.

They're in QuickBooks.

Here they are.

They have been added automatically.

Let us set up another bank rule.

Let us have a look back in our For Review tab just to see what we've got here.

Let's have a rule for Chin's Gas.

Okay there.

So let me pop up here, right bank rules.

New rule.

This one is for Chin's Gas.

Now, I am going to say that if it is over 200 at Chin's Gas, it is typically

going to be for utilities and if it is below, it is going to be for fuel.

That is just a rule that I know, that is something that I know that is pretty common in my business

to say even though it is a sample file.

So when money is going out and the bank text contains Chin's Gas and I am going to add

a line.

The amount is greater than 200 dollars.

Then, the payee will be Chin's Gas.

Here we have them.

And the category, if it is greater than 200 dollars, it is going to be utilities.

Gas and Electric here we go.

And let us not automatically add these because we might want to have a quick look at it first

so we'll save this one.

Now we'll create another new rule.

This is going to be Chin's Gas.

Money out.

Bank text contains Chin's Gas.

And we will add a line.

And we will say here, if the amount is less than 200 dollars, then will have to payee,

once again Chin's Gas.

But this time we are going to have the category, fuel, auto, what do we call it in here, there

we go.

Fuel.

We don't want to automatically add this because we want to be able to see, just check

the transaction before we accept it.

So pop back to the bank feed here.

Go back to our banking tab for review.

If we pop down here, we can see Chin's Gas.

Here it is.

Oh automobile fuel.

It is under 200 dollars.

And I am going to assume that I know that yes that is correct.

I am going to add it to my books.

So when we look at our QuickBooks tab here, we should now have 3 transactions.

2 of them went through automatically.

One of them was a lot quicker because before it was just sitting there and didn't know

where to go.

Let us now look at our bank feed.

What if we go down here?

Here is an item for Hicks Hardware.

It is a small amount.

Now we've got guys out in the field and every now and then they just have to run to

the hardware store, grab some supplies, we don't want to spend a lot of time processing

those.

So we are going to make a new rule just for anything hardware.

So we go to new rule.

That is going to be hardware.

Bank text contains the word hardware and the amount is less than let's say 50 dollars.

And we are going to, we don't even care what the payee is, we are just going to leave

that blank.

I am going to put it to jobs anyways.

We have here job materials.

Fantastic.

And we are going to automatically add this and it is just going to hardware expenses

on the job.

So let us save this.

Back to banking.

Let us have a look in QuickBooks and here it is Hicks Hardware.

It is going to job materials.

24.38 dollars.

Easy.

And let us have a little quick look at the income statement just to see what has happened

with all of these.

Profit and loss.

Scroll down here a little bit.

Automobile fuel.

Let us open this one up and here we have 185 dollars from Chin's Oil and Gas or gas and

oil.

Go back to our report.

Now we can go to our equipment rental.

Just scroll down and we can find equipment rental and here we have equipment rental.

Let us pop into here.

We can see here the two amounts from A Rental have come through.

Back to our report.

And let us go down to our job supplies.

Here we go.

Job materials the 24 dollars 38.

This might not be the best place we might want to further categorize them but as you

can see it is going to our income statement profit and loss.

As you can see, that will save you a lot of time when you go to the review tab, there

will be a lot less transactions there for you to deal with.

This will make your bookkeeping so much smoother.

It is very important you still do your monthly bank reconciliations.

I do have another video that walks you through those steps.

How Ryanair made me homeless for one night // The Reddish Owl - Duration: 10:17.

Back in English

I had a flight from Lisbon to Porto

with another airline and then

I had a Ryanair flight from Porto to my hometown in Germany

The flight from Lisbon to Porto departed with 2 hours delay

so I spent the entire flight praying to the Aviation Gods

for a delay of the Ryanair flight

At the exact millisecond the plane stops on the tarmac

everybody jumps from their chairs as if they had a thousand fleas bitting their ass

if necessary they push each other just to take their luggage very quickly

from the overhead bins

and all of this so they can spend the next 10 minutes

standing inside the plane in this kind of yoga position

promoting a very stiff neck

waiting for the door of the plane to be opened

much to my despair there is also an universal law that I observed at that moment

all these people that seemed so committed

to leave the plane at light-speed are immediately possessed by some kind of

atrophy of their legs the minute they set foot on the boarding bridge

and then start walking in slow motion

while I'm the only one that has to enter into Usain Bolt mode

trying to catch my next flight

After one extra security check

and running over three people

I made it to the boarding gate of my Ryanair flight and

the boarding

had not yet started

the Aviation Gods had listened

and there was a delay

a 3 hours delay

some improvements are needed in the Aviation Gods department

so for these 3 hours I thought

I didn't eat that many Pastéis de Nata in Portugal

so there's still room for a chocolate croissant

after this little snack

with my blood sugar levels already peaking

I received a text message from Ryanair saying that

the flight was cancelled

and the best that I could do was to go to the

Customer Service counter from Ryanair

which I did

as I arrived there I had only a 7 meters queue in front of me

easy peasy

before the rest of the passengers showed up and queued

for a kilometre behind me

was looking good

it only took 2 hours until it was my turn

2 hours

during this time I saw snails passing by me

reaching the end of the passenger terminal

and then coming back

the dialog with the non-helpful

non-friendly

lady at the Customer Service counter of Ryanair

was something like this

so my flight was cancelled, I have to be there

tomorrow

what other alternative flights can you offer me?

I can offer you a flight to your destination

which is departing

in one week

What?

in one week

Na, what?

in one week

What?

in one week

What?

I have a flight here

from another company that departs

tomorrow

early in the morning to the same destination so

please book this one

I can only book you in a Ryanair flight

and this is the earliest I have for you

If I would accept that

would you pay me for an hotel the whole week?

We can pay you for the hotel tonight

but for the remaining days it would have to be on your expenses

which you could then

attempt

to have it reimbursed from us

I asked out of curiosity just for my own amusement

as I said there's this flight tomorrow

You can book it yourself and then

attempt

to have it reimbursed from us

Do you have already our paper

with the links where you can file online

for your expenses reimbursement and the compensation for the flight cancellation?

Wait let me see if I have that in my pocket just a minute

well this last part didn't really happen

unfortunately

'cause I'm a nice person

so I had no other alternative from Ryanair

but to book and pay for an alternative flight myself

you think it's over?

No no no

It was already 1 a.m. in the morning and I had to prepare myself

to spend the night sleeping

on one of the airport chairs

lovely

The whole airport had long chairs but

small detail every one of these chairs had

this evil arm support

dividing the chairs every two seats

so if I tried to lay down I could fit in it perfectly

if I cut my legs and my hips

seemed perfectly reasonable

airports are just like SPAs

10 minutes into this lovely sleeping experience and

my eyes started to close

until I hear a strange noise approaching me

one of the cleaning guys driving one of those big cleaning machines

and the guy decided to drive that thing right by my SPA chair

and then again

and then around

So I tactically got up and moved to another SPA chair in the airport

on the opposite side of the terminal

3 a.m. now my eyes are starting to close

until

3.30 a.m. and I am back to my first airport chair

according to logic if the guy already cleaned that area

he won't return right?

4 a.m. my eyes start to close again

until

A lovely south american family

having a lovely talk with their normal voice volume

So I gave up sleeping

I also had to check-in for my flight at 5 a.m.

which was an hour away

and everything went according to plan

but I still had one last surprise from Ryanair

They answered me in 24 hours to both my

expenses reimbursement request

and my flight cancellation compensation

Ryanair was at least consistent

with what I had already experienced at their

Customer support counter

and to the first request their answer was

and to the second request

so here's my suggestion

for an update to the corporate branding of Ryanair
