Transformers Planet X Phobetor (aka Fall Of Cybertron Hardshell) - Duration: 16:04.
Hello folks, Stathis here!
Another Insecticon figure from Planet X!
Today we will take a look at Planet X Phobetor aka Fall Of Cybertron Hardshell.
In the G1 series he was called Bombshell.
Now, why they changed his name, I don't know, I guess because of copyrights.
Anyway, in case you don't know anything about Fall Of Cybertron,
it's the best Transformers video game until today.
If you haven't played it yet, I suggest you buy it or find it from somewhere and play it,
it's an excellent video game! So, this is Hardshell's box.
Here you see an artwork of his chest.
Nothing special on the sides and top side of the box.
On the bottom you see some warnings. This figure is for ages 15 & up.
And on the back side of the box you see Hardshell's back.
Enough with the box, let's see the accessories of the figure.
Hardshell comes with this card.
Tech specs on the back side of the card.
And of course, he comes with the instructions, here they are.
Simple transformation.
Nothing on the other side of the instructions. So, let's see the figure from close now.
And here is Hardshell in his insect mode. He looks very game accurate.
He has very nice gold paint here and here. His wings are made of transparent purple plastic.
His wings become his weapons. He has 6 legs.
As for his articulation, his antenna can move up and down.
You can also disconnect the head from here and make him look down.
His head is on a ball-joint but it also has a joint over here.
So he has a nice range of motion. The head articulation is great.
His wings can move up and down, in and out.
The feet can rotate. They can open from here.
The other legs are on 2 ball-joints so they have a nice range of motion as well.
And nothing at the rear side of the body.
He has normal articulation. You can also use the waist rotation over here but ok...
He has normal articulation though. So, let's see a size comparison now.
Here he is next to a deluxe class figure, Generations Warpath.
Here he is next to Fall Of Cybertron Slag.
Huge difference as you can see.
And finally, here he is next to his Generations version.
They have some similarities but they are from different universe.
So, let's transform Hardshell into his robot mode.
And here is Hardshell in his awesome robot mode!
Very nice representation of Hardshell from the video game! I like him very much!
Very nice red metallic paint for the eyes.
As for his articulation, the head is on a ball-joint, it can fully rotate.
It can look up. Also, this panel here doesn't tab anywhere so he can look completely up.
The head can look a little bit down. It can tilt left and right.
The rear insect legs are on ball-joints so we can bring them up if we want.
If you don't want this piece up like this, you can bring it down, like this.
But the official transformation says to have it up like this.
The shoulders are also on ball-joints so they can fully rotate.
The arm can move up this far. It can rotate from this point here.
It can bend at the elbow.
There is hand rotation, the 2 fingers can open-close as one piece.
There is full rotation at the waist.
The legs are also on ball-joints. They can move forward this far.
Backwards.
Sideways.
They rotate at the thighs.
There is double-jointed knee, I don't know if you can see it.
It can bend at this point but it can also bend at this joint.
The articulation on the knee is very good.
The toe can move up and down, it has a very small tilt and it can rotate a little bit like this.
Hardshell has good articulation.
He also has the nice gimmick where you can split him in half. Very nice gimmick!
And his wings become his weapons.
The bad thing is that he doesn't hold them very securely because his hands open easily.
So, he cannot hold them very steadily.
Though, if you don't want him to hold them, you can store them on his back, like this.
And they will look like this.
Enough with the robot mode, let's see a size comparison now.
Here is Hardshell next to United Bumblebee from Takara Tomy and next to Fall Of Cybertron Soundwave.
As I said on my previous review, Hardshell is a deluxe class figure or a hyper-legends class figure.
Here he is next to knock-off oversized War For Cybertron Optimus Prime.
And next to a legends class figure, Generations Bombshell.
And finally, here he is next to Fall Of Cybertron Megatron.
I believe the scale is very good because the Insecticons were very small in the video game.
So, let's transform Hardshell back into his insect mode.
Final thoughts...it's a very good figure.
Very nice representation of Hardshell from the Fall Of Cybertron video game!
Very tight joints, simple and fun transformation. It is worth the money in my opinion.
If you liked it, buy it without second thought!
Thank you all for watching, see you in the next video, bye! :)

Making the Prophetic Word Your World, Part 3 - Duration: 28:35.
(Music)
JERRY: Welcome, welcome, welcome to our broadcast today. Thank
you for joining me. I'm Jerry Savelle, and I have a great
message for you today, and I believe it's going to inspire
your faith. I'm going to take you into a line of service where
I was teaching on how you can make the prophetic word your
world. And I want to share with you some important principles
that I believe, praise God, is going to cause you to experience
what God wants to happen in your life. You know, God gives us
prophetic words so it helps create vision. The Bible says,
"Without a vision, the people perish." Now, listen to this
verse in I Thessalonians 5:19-21. It says, "Quench not
the spirit. Despise not prophesying. Prove all things.
Hold fast that which is good." Despise not prophesies. Let me
read it from the New International version. "Do not
put out the Holy Spirit's fire. Do not treat prophesies with
contempt." Contempt means lack of respect. Test everything, see
if it lines up with the Word of God, and hold on to that which
is good. So notice here, the Apostle Paul, by direction of
the Holy Spirit, says, "Do not treat prophesies or the
prophetic word with contempt." In other words, lack of respect.
When you hear the prophetic word, take it in. Just say like
I do, "Lord, I receive that." And then determine that you're
going to fight for it until it comes to pass. Now today we're
going to talk about how to do that, so you watch very closely
now as I take you into our service here at Heritage Faith
Christian Center. I want to encourage you to take notes if
at all possible. Then, I'll be in a few moments and we'll share
some very special products that we have available
for you. Watch now, and I'll be back shortly.
JERRY: Last week I talked to you about the prophetic
word becoming your world. The prophetic word
becoming your world. I want to continue on
that theme and remind you that our prophetic word this year,
days of glory, days of flourishing, and days of
abounding. Say that with me. Days of glory. CONGREGATION:
Days of glory. JERRY: Days of flourishing. CONGREGATION: Days
of flourishing. JERRY: And days of abounding. CONGREGATION: Days
of abounding. JERRY: Now that's what God wants happening in our
lives. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: He wants that prophetic
word to become your world. CONGREGATION: That's right.
JERRY: Can you say amen? CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: Now
let me just briefly go over some of the things we talked about
last week, for the benefit of those of you who were not here,
and also for the benefit of just a matter of making sure you've
got it. Praise God. In Acts, Chapter Three, and I'm going to
read it from the New International version, beginning
at Verse 24 and Verse 25: "Indeed, all the prophets from
Samuel own, as many have spoken, have foretold these days." Now
this is what Peter stood up and said to that crowd shortly after
they had been baptized in the Holy Ghost in the Upper Room.
He's out there with that crowd wondering what's going on. So he
says to them, "The prophets from Samuel own, they spoke and they
saw and foretold these days." So what the prophets, beginning
with Samuel, talked about and prophesied, Peter telling them
that today it has come to pass. CONGREGATION: Yes. JERRY: In
other words, the prophetic word has now become your world.
CONGREGATION: That's right. JERRY: Say that with me. The
prophetic word- CONGREGATION: The prophetic word- JERRY:
Became their world. CONGREGATION: Became their
world. JERRY: And then he goes on to say, "And you are heirs of
the prophets and of the covenant made with your fathers." So the
prophetic word is designed by God, obviously, to come to pass.
It's not just words, it's something that God desires to
come to pass in our lives. Hallelujah. CONGREGATION: Amen.
JERRY: Of course, there's been prophetic words spoken about our
day. Amen. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: And the Word that the
Lord gives us each and every year. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY:
We are to take that Word- CONGREGATION: That's right. Come
on. JERRY: And do what we've learned in the Word of God, and
we'll go over some of that this morning, do what we've learned
to do from the Word of God, and cause that prophetic word to
become our world. Amen. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: In
other words, God wants you to be able to look back at the end of
this year and be able to say, "That's exactly what happened to
me." CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: "It was days of glory, days of
flourishing, and days of abounding." CONGREGATION: Yes,
indeed. Come on. JERRY: Can you say amen? CONGREGATION: Amen.
JERRY: Now how many of you believe that's what's going to
happen to you, praise God. CONGREGATION: Amen, hallelujah.
JERRY: Say it with me. My world- CONGREGATION: My world- JERRY:
Will be- CONGREGATION: Will be- JERRY: Days of glory-
CONGREGATION: Days of glory- JERRY: Days of flourishing-
CONGREGATION: Days of flourishing- JERRY: And days of
abounding. CONGREGATION: And days of abounding. JERRY: Okay,
now let's look at some things this morning and I want you to
go first of all to II Peter 1:12-13, because I'm going to
say some things this morning that you've heard before, most
of you. I've been preaching some of the things that I'll be
saying to you this morning, I've been preaching for 49 years.
CONGREGATION: Yes. Come on. JERRY: Verse 12 says, "Wherefore
I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of
these things, though you know them and be established in the
present truth. Yea, I think it meet or necessary as long as I
am in this tabernacle to stir you up by putting you in
remembrance." So Peter's saying even though you've heard these
things from me before, and many of you are established in them,
it's my responsibility as long as I'm in this earthly
tabernacle, to keep reminding you of them and keep you stirred
up about them. CONGREGATION: Yes, sir. Amen. JERRY: Because
it's quite possible you have allowed some of them to slip.
CONGREGATION: Come on, come on. JERRY: The writer of the book of
Hebrews says that. "Less these things slip." And the body of
Christ is guilty of that. We've all been guilty of that from
time to time where we learn things, we become established in
it, and we know to do it, and we've done it and we've seen
results, and then for whatever reason we just quit doing it. It
may not have been a conscious decision you made, but you know,
sometimes you just get caught up in the things that's happening
in the world, get to watching the news too much, get to
reading the newspaper too often. I like to read the newspaper, I
really do. I look at the sports. I want to see what's going on in
my world. Amen. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: But if I happen to
read the front page, and you know, a couple of other pages
there, my attitude is I'm redeemed from that. I'm redeemed
from that, and I'm redeemed from that. Let's get on to something
important, sports. Praise God. Amen. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY:
So sometimes you can spend too much time dealing with worldly
things that you let spiritual truths slip. Amen. CONGREGATION:
Amen. JERRY: So let's see how that the prophetic word can
become our world. It's built upon basic principles that we've
all heard, we all know, many established in, but are you
still stirred up about it? Okay. Let's go to Hebrews 10:23. "Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for
he is faithful of that promise." Hold fast the profession of our
faith without wavering, for he is faithful of that promise. I
want to read it to you from the message translation. "Let's keep
a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps
his Word." Keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going.
Now, the prophetic word is a promise as well. Not only what
we see in the written Word, but the prophetic word also comes as
a promise from God. In fact, the Bible says men of old were moved
upon by the Holy Spirit and gave voice to what God desired, and
what God wanted to do in people's lives. CONGREGATION:
Amen. JERRY: So it became when the spoke it, it came as a
promise. CONGREGATION: Makes sense. JERRY: But they had to
hold fast to it in order for it to come to pass. So the Bible
says, "Keep a firm grip," everybody say a firm grip.
CONGREGATION: A firm grip. JERRY: Reach over and grip
somebody's hand, and grip it firmly. Amen. So, you notice
where he says, "Let us keep a firm grip." Grip
somebody's hand again. With a firm grip. He says, "Let us have
a firm grip on the promises." Now how many of you grip the
promises? Firmly? Like you would shaking somebodies hand, you
know, like a man's supposed to shake hands. He said, "Keep a
firm grip on the promises." Why? So Satan can't steal them. So no
one can deprive you of the fulfillment of them. Keep a firm
grip on the promises that keep us going. In other words, they
motivate us. They keep us on track when it looks like
nothing's happening. When it looks like nothing's working.
What I've got is a firm grip on the promise, praise God. And I'm
not going to let go of it because God always keeps His
Word. I think you ought to give Him a good shout for that,
praise God. God always keeps His word. Now, if you know what God
has promised, and how would you ever know what God has promised?
It's in the book. Amen. Read the book. All the promises of God
are "Yea" and "Amen". Hallelujah. So if you know what
God has promised then you can rest assured that He will bring
it to past. But your responsibility is keep a firm
grip on it. It's not if it happens, it's when it happens.
Can you say amen? CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: Isaiah 55:11 you're
familiar with it, but I'm going to read it to you from the
Message translation. "The words that come out of my mouth will
not come back empty handed. They'll do the work I sent them
to do. They'll complete the assignment I gave them." Every
promise of God has an assignment. CONGREGATION: Yes.
Amen. JERRY: Amen. If you find a promise from God, and you'll
find many in this book, think immediately that promise has an
assignment. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: And that assignment is
come to pass in my life. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: Say
it with me. Every promise. CONGREGATION: Every promise.
JERRY: Has an assignment. CONGREGATION: Has an assignment.
JERRY: And that assignment is. CONGREGATION: And that
assignment is. JERRY: Come to pass in my life. CONGREGATION:
Come to pass in my life. JERRY: So if God has told us that we
are going to have days of glory, days of flourishing and days of
abounding. And you keep a firm grip on it and that promise has
an assignment on it you ought to be shouting right now in
advance. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. CONGREGATION: Hallelujah. JERRY:
Praise God. Hallelujah. Every promise that God gives has an
assignment. And once again that assignment is to come to pass in
our lives. But it's our responsibility to keep a firm
grip on the promise. I know it's difficult. And I know that it
often looks as though it will never come to pass. But you
can't give up. Amen. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: You
can't give up. Look at your neighbor and tell them, "You
can't give up." CONGREGATION: You can't give up. JERRY:
Hebrews Chapter 6 Verse 13 through 18. And the Message
translation says this: "When God made promise to Abraham he
backed it to the hilt, putting his own reputation on the line.
He said, 'I will bless you with everything that I have.'"
Abraham stuck it out and got everything that had been
promised to him. Hallelujah. Amen. Abraham stuck it out and
got everything. Everybody say "Everything". CONGREGATION:
Everything. JERRY: Not somethings, not a few things,
but everything. Hallelujah. God promised Abraham things that in
the natural were impossible. But Abraham stuck it out.
CONGREGATION: Glory to God. JERRY: And he got everything
that God had promised him. I don't know what you plan to do
this year, but I'm going to stick it out. Just like I do
every year. I'm going to stick it out and my year is going to
be days of glory, days of flourishing and days of
abounding. Hallelujah. Praise God. Do you want everything that
God has promised you? CONGREGATION: Yes. JERRY: Then
make the quality decision that quitting is no longer an option.
CONGREGATION: That's right. JERRY: Now that's something
you've heard me say if you've been going to this church very
long. If you've been under out ministry very long you've heard
me say it time and time and time and time again. I've had people
ask me over the years many times, "What do you believe your
assignment is?" And I'll always say the same thing, "Talk people
into winning." Talk people into winning, praise God. Hallelujah.
That's why I preach. Talk people into winning. So, you have to
make the quality decision that quitting is no longer an option.
And the way you begin this, now here's where we get back into
some basics. Some things that you've already heard, you know.
Some of you are established in. But Peter said, "As long as I'm
in this earthly tabernacle I'm going to keep telling you these
things to keep you stirred up." Look at your neighbor and say,
"You look like you could use some stirring." CONGREGATION:
You look like you could use some stirring. JERRY: Amen. So, the
way you begin this, are you ready for this. Because some of
you not going to like it. Some of you don't want to hear it.
Watch your mouth. Oh, brother Jerry, give us something deeper.
It don't get any deeper than your own mouth. Watch what you
allow to come out of your mouth. You can't be talking days of
glory, and days of flourishing, and days of abounding and at the
same time talking lack, defeat, failure. CONGREGATION: Amen.
JERRY: James said, "My brethren you shouldn't have bitter and
blessing coming out of the same mouth." Cursing and blessing out
of the same mouth. So, you have to make the decision to put a
guard over your vocabulary. Because you can't talk any way
you want to talk anymore. Not unless you're not interested in
having God's promise fulfilled. Amen. So, one of the first
things I learned, you know, in 1969 when I came into this, and
you know, I came into it as a result of hearing Kenneth
Copeland. And I didn't know the power of words back then. I had
to learn to put a guard over my vocabulary. But the first thing
you have to do is replace it with God's Word. CONGREGATION:
That's right. JERRY: You can't just do this standing in front
of the mirror and say I won't talk negative, I won't talk
negative, I won't talk negative, I won't talk negative. You can't
do this with mind power. You can't do this with just positive
thinking. It takes the Word of God. You got to reprogram your
spirit because Jesus said in Matthew 12:34 "Out of the
abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." So what's ever your
heart in abundance, that's what's going to come out of your
mouth. Brother Hagen used to say, "You know, I don't need to
spend all day with a person to locate their faith. Give me five
minutes, just listen to how they talk and in five minutes I can
locate their faith." CONGREGATION: That's right.
Amen. JERRY: Because out of the abundance of your heart your
mouth is going to speak. And if you come to church every week,
and you're hearing me or Justin or somebody else talking about
the prophetic word that God's given us and then you walk right
out of this building and go to talking to somebody on the way
to their way to the car, you know that's great but it never
happens to me. I wish it'd happen to me. You know, I don't
know what's wrong with our family. We just never have good
things happen. We just located you. CONGREGATION: That's right.
JERRY: Amen. CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: That's like, you know,
people that use foul language. You know, I was in the elevator
one time with John Osteen, we were at Kenneth Hagen's camp
meeting and we were going up to our hotel room. And we just come
out of the service, you know, and the knowing was so strong
and we're talking the Word, the sermon the Brother Hagen
preached to one another. Then the door opened and some other
guys got in and they were talking filthy language and
cursing and it was like somebody just threw a wet blanket in the
elevator. It just, you know, the atmosphere changed. And so John
just stood there with his arms folded and they were saying GD
this, and GD that, you know. And John said, "Hey, Brother Jerry,
I notice these guys have God on their hearts. They keep talking
about Him. You know Jesus?" And boy, all of a sudden I don't
know what floor they wanted to get off on, but all of a sudden
the next floor was they one they wanted. All John
said was, "I hear you ... I hear you talking
about God. Maybe you're interested,
you want to know Jesus? And boy they get off that elevator as
quick as they could, and the atmosphere became wonderful once
again, praise God. CONGREGATION: Lord, our God. JERRY: But what
really got them off the elevator was, now we know what's in your
heart in abundance, John said. CONGREGATION: Wow. JERRY: Now we
know what's in your heart in abundance. CONGREGATION: Yeah.
Yes sir. JERRY: Amen? CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: I was
standing with Brother Copeland one time out at the airport in
his hangar. We were talking airplanes, and some guys came up
and they went to using foul language and you know, then all
of a sudden one of them said, "Oh, Brother Copeland, I'm
sorry. I didn't mean to talk like that." He said, "Yes, you
did." And you know Kenneth Copeland, he don't pull any
punches. And he said, "Yes, you did." "No, no preacher, we're
sorry, if we had been thinking, we wouldn't have been using that
kind of language around you." He said, "Yes, you intended to do
that." He said, "Well, why do you say that?" He said, "Because
out of the abundance of your heart, your mouth speaks. You
can't help it. That's the way you talk all the time, and
that's the way you talk in front of me and when you leave here,
that's the way you'll be talking then until you replace what's in
your heart." Now, how many of you are familiar with Babe's
restaurant, over in Burleson and they got one, we've taken there,
you know. We were over at Babe's one time, we took some folks
over there and we're sitting at the table, and we've ordered our
food and four more people came in and the tables are real close
and they put them right next to us. And one of the men, there
was two couples, one of the men, when he was walking to the
table, he was cussing. And when he sat down, he didn't quit
cussing. And he just went on and on and finally it got repulsive
and I turned and looked at the guy and his wife was shaking her
head. She was embarrassed by his conversation and he... just
filth, just filth. And finally she said, "Why don't you shut
up? If you can't talk without cussing, why don't you shut up?"
He did it so often, that's his heart was full of... Amen...
That he didn't even realize it was coming out of him. That's
exactly the way most Christians are. They are so full of
unbelief, they're so full of doubt, they're so full of
failure, they're so full of defeat, they're so full of
sickness, they're so full of lack, they just talk it all the
time and if you try to correct them, "Well, what'd I say?"
Hello? CONGREGATION: Hello. JERRY: How many of you want
God's best? CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: And folks, it begins with
your mouth. Glory to God. Now I've heard people say when I
start preaching about the mouth and words again, "Oh, we've got
to go back to watching what we say?" I always say, "Why'd you
ever stop?" CONGREGATION: Amen. JERRY: Why did you ever stop
watching what you say? You're going to use this revelation for
the rest of your life, if you want God's best. Come on, give
Him a shout, whether you want to hear Him or not.

JERRY: I want to thank you once again for watching our broadcast
today and I really pray that it's been a great inspiration to
your life. You know, I count it a great joy to come to you each
and every week, sharing the lessons that I've learned
myself, that I've applied for over 49 years now. And praise
God, they're still working in my life. God is no respecter of
persons, if you become the doer of the Word, like I did 49 years
ago, then praise God, you're going to get the same results. I
want to remind you once again of our special offer. This book,
The Life of Faith, I wrote this a couple of years ago, and I'm
telling you, we get great testimonies from it. And then
right along with it, If You Can Conceive It, You can Receive
It!. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it all begins
on the inside. You see the Holy Spirit is designed to take God's
Word and paint an image of it on the inside of your heart, the
canvas of your heart. And once you see it on the inside, no
devil can take it away from you so, our special resource package
this week, The Life of Faith book, and If You Can Conceive
It, You Can Receive It! Now, once again, I've been doing this
for the last few weeks. Two thousand prayer requests that I
have in my hand right here. Two thousand prayer requests that
people have written in, wanted us to pray, join them in their
faith and as I looked at some of them, again this morning, and
I've already prayed over them, and I see that the number one
request is for financial break throughs. Number two, is
healing, and number three, is relationships, restoration in
relationships. And I believe that God is in the restoration
business. He wants to restore families, He wants to restore
marriages, He wants to restore finances, He wants to restore
everything Satan has stolen from you. So if you fit in that
category and you're believing God today, I want to join my
faith with you right now. And I say, in the name of Jesus, God
will restore. Say that with me, "My God will restore." I'm
believing God with you. And I'm expecting break throughs, I'm
expecting turn arounds, I'm expecting you to have a great
testimony and when it happens, notice I didn't say, "If it
happens," when it happens, I want you to take the time to
share your testimony because as I read these testimonies, it
inspires other people and many are believing for the same
things you're believing for, and when they hear that God is doing
it for somebody else, it inspires their faith to keep
believing God. Here's one from Joanne, she said, "I listen to
the message you preached on the God of Suddenlies before going
into a job interview for a new job. Within three days, I was
hired on the spot. I am sowing my first full check as a first
fruit offering and I'm believing God, according to Mark, chapter
10 verse 30, that I will receive a hundred fold on what I've
sown." My goodness Joan, that is an amazing thing that you have
done. Sowed your first whole check into this ministry. And
you're right, Mark, chapter 10 verse 30, Jesus said, "Whenever
you give for the gospel sake, or His sake, you can expect a
hundred fold return." I join with you for that hundred fold
return in Jesus' name. And Joanne, when it happens, please
let me know, okay? Thank you for joining me
again today. We'll see you next week and until
then, remember your faith will overcome the world.

How To Make A Basic 2D Platformer In Unity For Beginners Part 1 - Duration: 9:21.
in this series I'm going to show you how to make a game that you are seeing right now
now on your screens so stay tuned if you want to know how to make it
hey guys sirgenictech here today with another video in today's video I'm gonna be
teaching you guys how to make a basic platformer in unity 3d slash 2d so guys
in today's video I'm gonna be showing you how to set up unity get a project
going and actually making the map so guys let's get right into today's video
okay guys so first of all you want to head to Unity's website and once you're
here you just go up to get unity so we click on that once that loads then
you can click on the personal button you can buy one of these if you want to but
it's quite a bit money a month for me the cheapest ones about 25 pound a month so
that's quite expensive but be fair I always just use the person audition so
you need just click on try personal you know agree terms read them if you want
to I recommend to read them and then download in store for Windows your food
installer it's very simple guys I recommend down on the unity hub because
then you get something then you get like a nice little actual hub way you can get
templates so that is really nice to have anyway once you downloaded that we
want to actually openup the unity hub slash unity hub so on
unity got some tutorials here from unity themselves like how to move
our make stuff you've got to deke its freedom kits you've got space shoot oh
you got all sorts here guys even though some resources like vehicle tools 360 so
property VR and also links to some websites slash areas to learn these links
are handy I use he's quite there so anyway once you've uh installed this
unity hub you need to actually go and click on it's just say something like
install unity you click on that I don't have it all let me here
don't it will so yeah should say something like something like that oh if
you say something like this actually so yeah then you click on what version you
want I recommend getting the latest one because that's the one we're gonna be
programming in and working in so I recommend that
and anyway once you get to this and all your unity installed you simply click
on new and this is your project so you've got all different ones here and
see what's a few templates I am gonna do today cuz we're making a 2d platformer
and let's call this to 2d flatformer like this and you can locate you can put the
source files wherever you want I'm gonna change up to my game dev folder like
this and we're going to keep it in that folder there and I'm gonna turn off that
once you don't nest you just simply click on create project and what this
will do now this will start opening up unity and getting your unity well your
unity engine ready Unity's of very good engines to start
learning because unity it programs into c-sharp it's a very very handy engine to
have what's that I've programmed most of my games in this and made my games in
there so I recommend them and when you're unity actually opens like this
then you're ready and well you ready you know get on with it
probably a bit differently per to yours the reason is because this is how I like
to make my games I like to have my folders down here I like on the console
there's any errors and then my hierarchy here so all you do is go up to here and
press asset store and this will take you simply to the unity asset store you can
buy a lot of content here for your games and this does save a lot of time when
you're making game especially if you're on your own so what you want to do is go
up here and type in 2d and it should hopefully pop up and then your want to click on free only
because we're not gonna spend any money then in what you want to do is
go to page 4 scroll down until you see sunny land
this is amazing textures so this is the textures you get with it it looks
awesome looks amazing so we're gonna be working
this why do you do do not take these textures and say they're your own
because the maker of these textures worked very hard for them and don't well
it's just a bad thing to do is to take somebody's outs work and put into your
game and say it's yours so you know if you're gonna publish a game of these
textures make sure you get in contact with the owner of these textures make
sure you get permission and make sure you put him in your game but if its for
personal use like ah how I make my games I make mine for personal use then you're
alright to use these without credit so we want to do is click on download and
then you read through all this if you want to or you can just hit accept once
that's done you can see it's gonna start importing it to your unity so what you
do is wait for that to finish then select this ship pop up and then you can
see all the textures and that and you can uncheck these if you want to but
it's best to keep them all if you want them all and you just simply click on
import once that's done it's gonna start writing all those files to your to your
project folders down here so you can see another file pop up in a minute and then
so then we can get on the game so you can see now it's finished so you can see in here
I've opened it up we've got scene so if they'll actually came with its own scene
which shows off all the textures which is very nice and some animations which you that you
can see there and I'm gonna show you how to actually animate these later on in a
few episodes so let's actually now go and open up our
own scenes go to file and click on new scene this will give us a fresh scene
where you build your level and if I just pull this across one my second from monitor
this is what the game looks like for a minute so it doesn't look that good so
let's actually now get some ah let's get some other textures on you so with these
textures you can use a tile base so tilebase is where it's a little bit
like Minecraft so you can put down blocks I'll show you that now so if we
go to this one game objects 2d tile map we click on that and
now we've got a tile map so what we so what you
once you've got your tilemap this is simply go up to window go down to 2d and
click on the title palettes this will open up something like this
now you always won't actually open up like this cuz I've already got mine
loaded so what we do will gonna create a new palette and call this 2d textures
ground put whatever it doesn't matter what up on the name it's just somewhere
you can simply just we're gonna click create and then we're gonna select a
folder words are gonna put it in our assets folder and then now we can drag
and drop a sprite slash tech Tania so you won't go down Sunnyland artwork
environment and then hey you are now you want to go on drag this title set sliced
because this is actually sliced into cubes for us so we can actually start
making our games when we drag and drop that into that and then we will simply
against it and we're gonna overwrite our textures and now you guys you're going
to let that import into the tile palette and now guys once is import you should
get something like this so now you can literally just click on whatever cube
you want let's get a grass block and now you can simply walk but you can see that
the textures are really small and if we actually gone look in our game it will
it look in-game you can see they look small so what we need to do is actually
scale these things up so yeah all you do is simply go over here and you see this
number you make it smaller so let's make this 50 and apply that and let's see how
so it's getting better so let's go down to 20 and apply that and then
let's do 15 and I think then will be perfect there there we are
now we're perfect so now when we place them they will actually all add up like
that and look good and now let's actually grab a pallet again and let's
go and get some dirt and just simply drag it so long to draw the textures and
now you can see we've kind of already got a simple level
When the player stands on the ground he gonna fall throught it
simple you create an empty let's just call this
ground col or ground Collider and then we simply add a 2d box Collider once we
do that we can simply move this across lined up so your place gonna be stand on
it then we go over here and click Edit Collider and then we drag that across
and down and now you play will be able to stand on this ground
so what Collider does it stops player for falling throught so right now these
are just textures but now we added a Collider on the i am gunna add it to grid set
more neater and now you'll player will be able to walk on those sprites so in the next
video guys we're gonna be making the player code in this movement and also
animating him so you can actually see him walk because enjoyed today's video
make sure he's gonna hit for the like button if your new to my channel subscribe to join sir
genictech also share this video with your friends and family for all the
techie needs and I'll see you in the next video bye

Your Prayers Are Answered: Father, Detour Me - Duration: 28:31.
[PASTOR MARK JESKE] Most
of us really hate detours
but here's my question to
you: Do you think that God
ever leads us on life
detours?
Pastor Mike Novotny has a
message about what God is
up to with his detours
coming up next.
[MUSIC]
[PASTOR MICHAEL
NOVOTNY] How many of you
have ever seen what some
people think is the
greatest horror film in
human history, 1980, The
Shining?
Ever seen it?
Made the year that I was
born and if you've seen
it, you probably can't
forget it.
Alright, here's the plot.
Spoiler alert; you've had
about 40 years, so I don't
feel bad about this one.
The movie ends with this
crazed Jack, axe in hand,
chasing little Danny
through the maze.
The camera follows each of
them and you hold your
breath, just hoping and
praying that this
murderous man doesn't come
face to face with this
helpless kid.
And outside the maze is
mom.
And she is just hoping and
begging and pleading that
her husband and her son
don't meet face to face.
And I think that's how
Jesus wanted us to feel
when we pray the Lord's
Prayer.
Do you know the prayer?
"Our Father in heaven,"
Jesus says, and eventually
he gets to this line:
"Lead us not into
temptation." I think when
we get to those little
words that Jesus wants us
to feel like that mother
outside the maze; praying
with passion, praying with
focus because if this
request is not answered,
the worst things
imaginable are about to
happen.
Because Jesus wants us to
think in the Lord's Prayer
about temptation as God
defines it.
A few weeks ago, I offered
my friend a donut and she
said, "Don't tempt me."
And the waitress comes to
your table after dinner
with the dessert menu and
there's a slice of
saturated fat with a tower
of whipped cream on top and
what do you say?
"I'm tempted." Alright,
when we think of
temptation with chocolate
and with our diets and
with weight gain, but to
Jesus that was not
temptation.
Jesus thought of
temptation and its
consequences as something
so important for you and
me in our spiritual lives
that when it came down to
crafting this little
prayer that he taught his
people to pray, he had to
include this line: "God,
don't lead us into
temptation." And so, you
and I feel the weight of
that prayer.
I just want to unpack a
little bit what temptation
is from a biblical
perspective.
There's four things I want
you to remember every time
you come across that word
in the Scriptures.
The first thing I want to
remind you of is this:
That temptation is
stronger than you.
Now, I think of The
Shining, right?
If crazy Jack meets little
Danny, it's not going to
be an even match.
We don't have to hold our
breath and see who wins.
If they meet, he's so much
bigger, so much stronger,
that this little kid is
dead.
And that's what Jesus said
about us and sin.
He once told his
disciples: "Pray so you
will not fall into
temptation.
The spirit is willing," -
do you know how this verse
ends?
"But the flesh is weak."
Now Jesus says, "You want
to serve God and you want
to honor him with every
part of your life but
there's something in the
human heart, the flesh,
that's so weak that if
we're face to face, it's
going to be a whole lot of
trouble." I bet there are
some sins - and maybe you
wouldn't shout them out in
church - there's some sins
that you rarely resist.
What's that sin to you?
Like, if you came face to
face with that, it'd be
the end of you.
Now maybe for some of us,
that temptation is praise.
It seems so good, huh, to
get complimented for your
work, to be complimented
on your beauty, for your
relationships, your
athletic ability, but from
a biblical perspective,
praise is meant to be this
trampoline to the worship
of God.
Like God, despite all my
flaws, will use me to do
something good!
He would give me this
intelligence and this
skill and this opportunity
but maybe for you, that's
not where your heart goes;
it just sits and simmers
and soaks in the
attention.
Or maybe for you the thing
you can't resist is
failure.
You know, when you mess
something up, when there's
a critical word from your
boss, when someone in your
family wants to correct
what you're doing, when
there's some critic online
and they post something
about your picture like
you spiritually just can't
handle it.
You fall apart.
The devil pounces and he
lies to you and you think
I never do anything right
and I'm worthless and
these people hate me.
Just a little bit of
failure, a project that
doesn't go well, a test
that doesn't come out
right, and you emotionally
and spiritually lose your
joy and your peace and
your happiness.
Or maybe that thing for
you is a financial
surprise.
You've seen God provide
for your physical needs
for years, for decades,
but when the kid needs
braces and there's a car
accident and a medical
bill and a deductible, I
mean, you can be first
world rich but when things
surprise you, it's like
fear and anxiety and
worry.
I don't know what that
something is for you but I
know you've got something.
And face to face, you and
that sin, it's going to
fall apart.
Jesus says that is
temptation.
And not just that.
The second thing I want to
teach you about temptation
is this: That temptation
will kill you.
It wasn't just that Jack
was stronger than little
Danny; it's that he had an
axe in his hand.
And he didn't want to put
the kid in a timeout for
being naughty; he wanted
to murder him.
And the Bible says the
same thing about sin and
temptation with us.
Jesus' brother James put
it this way - he said,
"Each person is tempted
when they're dragged away
by their own evil desire
and enticed.
Then after desire has
conceived, it gives birth
to sin and sin when it is
full grown, gives birth to
death." Temptation doesn't
just want to tempt you; it
wants to kill you.
It wants to take this good
life, a life of blessing
that God wants for you,
and murder it.
And that might seem like,
you know, preacher talk,
like exaggerating sin, but
it's true, isn't it?
When sin gets in the
middle of our lives, good
things die.
Just imagine if you're
dating someone or you're
married, what would happen
if temptation had its way
in your relationship?
If he covered the truth
and she started keeping
score, if all he had was
criticism for her and all
she did was nag him for
the stuff that didn't get
done, like how toxic and
sad and ugly and like
death would that be?
Or the kid who goes off to
college and he's tempted
to take some time away
from church and he thinks
his faith will be fine.
Like what's going to die?
When he tries to do
college life without God's
reminders and boundaries
and his love.
When his beliefs are
tested in the classroom.
When his girlfriend wants
to cross the line because
she doesn't believe in
Jesus like he does.
Like that person who's
going to church and is
struggling with suicidal
thoughts and he's been
through it and he could
encourage her but he's not
there that Sunday.
When we give into
temptation, James says, it
grows, it conceives, it
gives birth and things
die.
Temptation is stronger
than us.
Temptation wants to kill
us.
And number three, this one
scares me even more:
Temptation is unseen by
us.
What part of your week is
going to be the most
tempting this week?
Who knows, right?
I think of little Danny in
that maze.
He doesn't know where his
dad is.
Do I take a left?
Do I take a right?
Do I turn around?
Do I run forward?
He had no clue and neither
do you.
Where will you face more
temptation - hanging out
with these friends or
those?
Where is your faith going
to be tested - working at
this job or that one?
What channel is going to
give you the image that
will spark your heart into
ugly places - this channel
or that one?
Should you check your
social media in the
morning at night and what
story are you going to see
that's going to make you
lose your faith and worry
about our future and give
up your hope?
The answer is we have no
clue.
That's the scary part.
We have to pray, "God,
you're the only one with a
bird's eye view of the
maze.
You know the sin that's
trying to kill me and you
see where I am so I'm
asking lead us not into
temptation.
But maybe the fourth point
about temptation is the
worst of all - the word
"us." It would be one
thing if it was just me
and sin but "us" means us.
The people you care about
most in this world are
included in that prayer.
I mean, what does sin want
to do to my kids?
What kind of temptation is
the devil planting in the
heart of some man who
might abuse and hurt my
daughters?
What would happen if my
parents just gave into
arguments and their
marriage fractures and
falls apart?
What happens if the people
on the block are racist or
sexist?
What would happen if my
wife gave into every
temptation she was facing?
What would happen to us,
our best friends, our
kids, our nieces, our
nephews, our co-workers,
our church, our pastor,
our teachers when we pray,
"Lead us [not] into
temptation," we realize
that everyone's in the
maze.
Everyone's being stalked
and hunted and we pray,
"God, in your mercy and
with your wisdom, don't
let us come face to face -
don't let me, don't let
him, don't let her - lead
us not into temptation."
You put those four things
together and you can't
robotically mumble the
prayer, can you?
No more than that mother
outside of the maze could
have said, "I hope it
turns out okay." No, she
cared and so she begged
and she pleaded and that's
why we pray with passion,
too: "Our Father in
heaven, lead us not into
temptation." You know, the
funny thing is though, do
you know essentially what
you're asking God to do
for you?
To detour your day.
Any fans of detours in the
room today?
This is the best part of
your day, you're driving
to work and the big orange
sign and the construction
guy making you turn left
when you want to go
straight like, that's the
worst part, right?
You know from geometry,
the shortest distance from
A to B is a straight line
and that's what we want to
do but detours say, "No,
no, no.
You're going to take a
right and then you think
you're going to be there
and you're going to take
another right," and then,
you know, sometimes the
detour is so short you can
see your destination and
you think, "I can get my
minivan through here," but
you get so frustrated with
the orange signs but what
if - what if it's not a
conspiracy?
What if it's not the
government trying to waste
funds and frustrate you so
you came to work just
tense and full of anxiety?
What if they actually did
that because they cared
about you?
Because they didn't want
to break an axle on your
car.
They didn't want to put
you on a dangerous road.
What if they made you take
the long way for your
good?
And what if God did the
same?
What if the stuff that
annoys you about your day
is actually God answering
a prayer?
Because you can't see it
but he knows if everything
goes according to your
plan, you're going to run
into that sin that knows
your name and so he
answers it.
"Lead us not into
temptation." And the
project doesn't go the way
you want it and homework
doesn't go as fast as it
should but it's God, as a
Father in heaven, doing
what's best for his kids.
There's this little story
in Exodus 13 where God has
just rescued his people
from Egypt, they're free
as slaves, they've just
been working for Pharaoh
for decades and for
generations and hundreds
of years.
And God knows if he takes
them from Egypt to the
Promise Land in a straight
shot, they're going to go
right through the
Philistines; people
trained in war.
And do you know what
Exodus 13 says?
God took them the long
way.
They didn't know who the
Philistines were.
They had no clue the
warriors were sharpening
their weapons, waiting for
Israel to come, but God
did.
And so he annoyed them; he
frustrated his people
because he cared.
You know, I was thinking
the other day, reflecting
back on my life, where
have I been pretty ticked
at God because he actually
listened when I prayed the
Lord's Prayer?
And what popped into my
mind was girls.
I can remember being in
school, praying and
begging God for a
girlfriend.
I mean, you know, world
hunger, starving kids in
third world countries,
sure, God, you can do
that, too.
But I'm begging you in the
name of Jesus your dear
Son!
I can remember the names
of the girls, each class.
I think in first grade,
they're actually twins -
Mindy and Mandy - and I
was so humble as a
Christian.
I said, "God, you know,
either one!"
[Audience: Laughter] "It
will be okay with me!"
You know how many
girlfriends I had in grade
school?
Zero.
Middle school?
Zero.
High school?
Zero.
Do you know what I did for
my senior prom?
I watched Stars Wars
[Pastor: Laughter] This
guy [Pastor: Laughter].
And you know what?
I laugh about it now but I
wasn't laughing then.
My friends had
girlfriends, they would
tell stories of what they
did with girls and here I
am, a senior in high
school, never held a
girl's hand, never kissed
a girl, watching Star Wars
while my friends are going
out with their significant
others.
But looking back on that,
you know what I think?
Detour.
That God knew what would
have been hard for me; to
stand up for him, to honor
him with my body.
Would I have held those
biblical boundaries?
He knows me.
And so, I don't think it
was a mistake that I was
annoyed with God.
I probably should have
praised him.
And I wonder about you.
When you think about your
finances, your
relationships, your faith,
your job, what's the stuff
that you're asking, "Come
on, God.
Change it!"
But then you make the
mistake of praying the
Lord's Prayer and God
actually loves you enough
to listen.
And you know, he knows
like if traffic would have
gone well, you would have
run into something that
would have caused you to
be impatient and unkind
and there was the accident
that he made you miss. He
knew if the economy
wouldn't have fallen apart
years ago, you would have
retired early and you
would have been in that
place when that tragedy
happened and your life
would have been forever
changed.
He knew if you would have
gotten that promotion even
though you deserved it,
you would be working for a
boss who would ask you to
compromise your integrity
and your honesty and he
refused to let it happen.
How many times did God
take your life the long
way because he loved you?
You know, to me the crazy
thing about the Lord's
Prayer is that if God
actually answers that part
of it, we'll never know.
We'll never know what
should have happened.
We'll never know the sins
we would have committed.
We'll never know the
consequences that would
have changed our lives in
toxic and negative ways
but God knows.
And so, when we pray that,
we pray in faith.
We say, "God, lead us not
into temptation and even
if we never see the end of
it, we trust you know
exactly what you're
doing." So here's what I
want you to do the next
time.
The next time something
annoying happens in your
day, I just want you to
say one word: Detour.
And instead of thinking
God's forgotten about you
and he's not listening to
your prayers, I want you
to believe he actually is.
When the Wi-Fi doesn't
work, when the technology
fails, when the server
crashes, when everyone
gets backed up and
everyone's stressed at
work, maybe you're the
only one in the room who
can smile and say,
"Detour." Maybe everyone
else is scurrying through
the maze and they're
thinking this is lost and
this is crazy but you know
there's a God who sees
everything and he cares
for every one of his kids.
He is in our Father in
heaven, after all.
And you can say with a
grin, "Detour." And when
you don't get into the
college that you want and
the project doesn't get as
much success as you want
and the quarterly numbers
aren't exactly what you
want them to be, you can
say, "Detour.
My Dad's up to something.
He always is." Now, I
know, I know; it doesn't
always happen that way,
right?
Maybe you're thinking,
"You know, Pastor, I face
a whole bunch of
temptation and he's not
detouring me that much,"
and sometimes it doesn't
go well.
And that's why there are
other parts of the prayer
I can't tell you about
today like, "Forgive us
our sins." And you know
what?
He does.
When temptation gets you
and it entices you and it
kills something good in
your life, do you know why
God actually forgives your
sins?
Because the Father did not
detour his only Son.
Jesus taught the Lord's
Prayer in Matthew 6.
Do you know what happened
just two chapters earlier?
Listen to this incredible
language.
Matthew 4 says, "Then
Jesus was led by the
Spirit into the wilderness
to be tempted." Led to be
tempted.
So often, the Father takes
us around the devil but
not his Son.
He led him straight into
that temptation.
Do you know why?
So Jesus could kill the
killer.
So he could face the worst
of it and when he would
come out of that
wilderness victorious,
Satan's greatest weapon -
condemnation and shame and
guilt - would be in Jesus'
hands.
So that when we do come
face to face with that
temptation and when it
gets the best of us and
it's stronger than us, it
can hurt us but it can't
kill us.
It can make us feel bad
for the moment but it will
not forever because Jesus
was right.
He walked right into
temptation so that he
could forgive us.
So today, let's celebrate
Jesus.
Let's celebrate the
temptation he did not give
into.
Let's celebrate the battle
that he won over the devil
and while we're at it,
let's celebrate all the
battles we never had to
fight.
Because your Father in
heaven was listening when
you prayed that prayer:
"God, lead us not into
temptation." Let's pray.
God, There's so many good
things about our careers
and about our physical
health and about our
families and about our
friendships.
It's not perfect but there
are so many good and
perfect gifts that come
down from you and the only
reason why is because of
this prayer.
The devil, Jesus said
once, wants to steal and
kill and destroy.
He would love to ruin us
and give us zero reasons
to smile and celebrate and
laugh today.
But that didn't happen,
God, because you led us
not into temptation.
You restrained his power
and his evil and we are so
grateful for that.
Lord, we know in this life
there are frustrating
things, there are things
we wish we could change,
but I pray today you give
us a new perspective; a
point of view that only
Jesus can give that allows
us to rejoice and have a
kind of peace and
satisfaction that so few
people in our world have.
God, we pray our light
would shine so brightly.
When the world is
grumbling, we could be
rejoicing and when they
ask us why, we could tell
them about you and your
prayer and most
importantly, about your
son.
We pray all these things,
asking you to protect us
from temptation today, and
we come to you all in
Jesus' name, Amen.

[PASTOR MARK JESKE]
You know, I'll have
to admit it; I'm a little
bit of a control freak.
I really like being in
charge of my life and
having everything planned
out, being on top of
everything, and I don't
like nasty surprises so I
try to really prepare for
all eventualities and try
not to ever get caught
really in a vicious swing
of, say, financial
pressures or any kind of
relationship pressures.
And think about it - even
if you're not as bad of a
control freak as I am, you
like to be in control; you
don't like to find nasty
surprises.
And man, we really don't
like getting jolted into
life detours.
But you know what?
The funny thing is God
does some of his best work
when we get knocked off
the track and we have to
improvise because one of
the things it does is it
keeps us humble.
It's not always bad to be
weak, small, hungry, and
in need because it causes
us to call on our Lord God
for help and reminds us
that, really, we have
nothing without him.
He is our strength and our
song.
It also is good because
our own - when we're in
control of everything -
our own plans are often
not very good plans or
they're not very
fulfilling or don't really
fulfill the mission for
which God put us on this
earth.
And sometimes, what looks
to us like a detour that
yanks us away from our
goal, actually is God's
secret plan to get us
closer to his goal for us.
So if you feel your life
getting yanked out of its
track and put on a
different track.
Take a deep breath, say
"Lord, help me get what
you're up to with this
detour," and I think
you'll find a whole new
serenity.
Don't go away; I'll be
back to pray with you in
just a moment.
[PROMOTION] "Gail - she
has some problems, some
issues - and with
understanding certain
things and this is why I
see her learning from Time
of Grace." "I grew up with
no church so it was kind
of hard for me to
understand.
I didn't know the Bible at
all; I was totally lost.
Pastor Jeske makes it
easier to understand."
"Knowing that Jesus is her
Savior is very evident in
Gail's heart." Because of
the generosity from
supporters like you, Time
of Grace can provide
encouraging
gospel-centered broadcasts
and this month any gift
you give will be worth
twice as much thanks to a
new $100,000 challenge
grant opportunity.
To thank you for your gift
today to help meet this
challenge, we'll send you
a copy of our newest book
by Pastor Dave Scharf;
"Our Father, Harnessing
the Power of the Lord's
Prayer." Receive your copy
when you give by calling
the number on your screen.
[PASTOR MARK JESKE] I'd
like to pray with you
today.
Let's talk to God about
the unexpected detours in
our lives.
Heavenly Father, Our
prayer today is one for
serenity and calm.
We sure do like to control
things and have things our
way.
We hate to have to let go
and have our lives yanked
in a different direction.
Help us to trust you more;
not to panic at times like
that or to assume you
don't love us or don't
care or have lost your
power and ability to
really manage our lives
the way we like.
Help us to see the detours
as opportunities for you
where you are getting
things done for us and
through us.
Help us to trust that you
are still on top of
everything in our lives
and that all things will
work together for our
good.
We trust this because we
know you love us, we know
you are wise beyond
understanding, and we know
you are all powerful and
we pray in Jesus' name,
Amen.
For Time of Grace, I'm
Pastor Mark Jeske,
celebrating God's amazing
grace with you each day
and it all starts now.
[PROMOTION - PASTOR MARK
JESKE] It's very, very
important to me that Time
of Grace not be limited to
my ability to continue to
do these things.
It's very important to me
that Time of Grace will
have a second act.
It really does not look a
lot like a church.
[PASTOR MICHAEL NOVOTNY]
We thought what a great
way through technology to
reach people with Jesus.
It just speaks to people
in such a great way.
Paul says, "I've become
all things to all people
so that by all possible
means, I might save some."
So the style might be a
little bit different and
the screens might be a
little bit bigger but I
love the fact that it's
going to be consistent
with our message.
It's what people love
about your messages.
I pray they're going to
get the same out of mine,
too.
[PASTOR MARK JESKE] This
transition to becoming the
Time of Grace speaker is
going to mess with your
life.
[PASTOR MICHAEL NOVOTNY]
[Laughter] [PASTOR MARK
JESKE] I've got to tell
you, you probably didn't
have like loads and loads
of free time; you were 100
percent invested in being
a pastor of your
congregation here so I've
got to ask you, what led
you to be willing to take
on this crazy new
direction in your life and
sort of have now two jobs
sitting on top of you?
[PASTOR MICHAEL NOVOTNY]
Yeah.
[PASTOR MARK JESKE] Why'd
you do it?
[PASTOR MICHAEL NOVOTNY]
Yeah, why did I do it?
[Laughter] You know, I was
really blessed when the
opportunity came my way to
share the news, the
opportunity with our
church family, with some
brothers in ministry, some
fellow pastors.
And it amazed me that
unanimously, people were
excited about this
opportunity.
Some people, I thought
would be mad that I might
have to split my time, but
they said, "Pastor, I'm
going to be mad at you if
you don't say yes to
this." So they saw the big
kingdom impact - [PASTOR
MARK JESKE] Yeah.
[PASTOR MICHAEL NOVOTNY] -
and it's an easy decision
for us to make.
[PASTOR MARK JESKE] So
your members and people
here at The Core are
supportive of what you've
decided to do.
[PASTOR MICHAEL NOVOTNY]
Absolutely!
I was a little nervous
when the opportunity first
came.
I thought, "Oh, this seems
amazing.
I want to say yes.
But what if the church
says no?"
So to really hear, you
know, we had some
congregational meetings
and it was just unanimous.
And afterwards, so many
people encouraged and
basically pushed me over
this ledge to say, "Be
part of Time of Grace.
It's such a great
opportunity to do what
we're so passionate about
here at our church." I
mean, through your work in
the what, past 17, 18
years, to the incredible
support of people, Time of
Grace has grown to this
ridiculous open door to
preach the gospel.
And what - about 400,000
people every Sunday are
tuning in to Time of
Grace?
And maybe 60,000 of them
are unsure about Jesus?
When I heard the other 42
million Time of Grace
devotions have been done
on the YouVersion Bible
app?
And I think about that -
those aren't just like
huge numbers; those are
names of actual people.
You know, like our
cousins, our kids, our
grandkids, neighbors who
don't go to church.
These are names of actual
people with actual souls
that Jesus actually loves.
[PASTOR MARK JESKE]
Hmm-hmm.
[PASTOR MICHAEL NOVOTNY] I
thought about just the
television audience;
400,000 people.
I live near Green Bay,
Lambeau Field.
Eighty-one thousand when
it's packed for a Packer
game.
Think of that; every
Sunday, like five straight
days, Time of Grace is
packing Lambeau Field and
people are leaning in to
hear a message about God's
grace.
And that's just amazing to
me!
Like through the work that
you've done, through the
blessing that God has
given, there is such an
incredible opportunity to
keep sharing the gospel
here at my church, but to
share Jesus in such a
massive way.
[PASTOR MARK JESKE] Mike,
I want to thank you for
your tour of The Core, for
letting me know a little
bit about what drives you
personally, and all the
things that you try to do
in your ministry here.
And I'm really, really
excited about those values
that you're going to bring
to our television
audience, as well.
I want you to know this is
just so exciting to me.
What would be a fear of
mine that as I age out,
that Time of Grace would
get an aging-out kind of
feeling and I hope you
just really enjoy Mike's
youth and energy and the
revitalization that he's
going to bring and that we
have confidence for a
really amazing future for
Time of Grace.

8 Foods You Should Avoid if You Have Hypertension - Duration: 7:48.
8 Foods You Should Avoid if You Have Hypertension
Arterial hypertension is one of the most common cardiovascular disorders.
It develops when your heart has trouble pumping blood to the rest of your body.
It comes from the narrowing or obstruction of your arteries.
This causes problems in blood flow, making your heart work much harder.
For decades it has been categorized as a "silent killer," since it tends to be asymptomatic, until it turns into a serious problem.
The most worrisome part is that it interferes with how other bodily systems function.
Over time, these changes affect your quality of life.
Because of this, it's essential to get regular medical exams, especially when you have a family history or other risk factors for hypertension.
In addition, once diagnosed, the consumption of certain foods should be limited.
Eating certain foods can cause more complications to this serious cardiovascular disorder.
Now we want to share in detail the 8 foods you should avoid, and then replace with healthier options.
Find out what they are!.
1,Bread.
Bread and other baked goods contain high levels of sodium and saturated fat, which once absorbed, increase arterial blood pressure.
Just one serving of bread has up to 230 mg of sodium, or in other words, 15% of the daily recommended amount for your body.
The problem is made worse by the refined flours in bread; if overconsumed, it leads to weight gain, diabetes, and uncontrollable high blood pressure.
"Check this out too: Morning Shake to Combat High Blood Pressure".
2,Caffeinated beverages.
Excessive consumption of drinks like coffee and soda contribute to an elevated blood pressure, particularly when there is a diagnosis of hypertension.
All caffeinated drinks and foods are stimulants that inevitably raise your blood pressure.
3,Salad dressings and sauces.
Commercial salad dressings tend to have high levels of sodium which, as mentioned, can lead to a breakdown in arterial health.
Mayonnaise, ketchup, and other similar sauces include many added chemicals that, despite making food taste good, cause metabolic issues in the long-term.
4,Butter and margarine.
Both butter and it's artificial counterpart, margarine, have high levels of sodium and fat that affect arterial health if consumed regularly.
Eating these fatty foods increases levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and forms a hard plaque that obstructs proper blood flow in your arteries.
In addition, these substances slow down metabolic function, and contributes to weight gain.
5,Cheese.
Traditional cheeses include lots of salt and saturated fat, which causese an increase in blood pressure.
Sodium leads to fluid retention in your tissues, and at the same time increases blood pressure and inflammation.
Saturated fats affect your arteries, hardens them, and thus interferes with blood circulation.
Therefore, people with hypertension should avoid cheese or alternatively replace it with a vegan option.
6,Cold cuts.
Lunch meat may seem like a good food choice, especially on the go, but is actually quite the opposite.
Recently, studies have shown that processed meats should be avoided, due to very high levels of saturated fat and other chemical compounds that negatively affect your health.
Its levels of salt, put together with the calories and added preservatives, increases inflammation in tissues and restricts blood circulation through your arteries.
In the long run, lunch meat and other processed meat products can even be a cause of metabolic issues, including obesity and diabetes.
7,Sweets.
Sweets and refined sugar are highly addictive, and unfortunately quite bad for your health.
If you have hypertension, they should definitely be avoided, as they have been shown to lead to excessive weight gain and diabetes.
However, you can opt for a small amount of dark chocolate with at least 60% cacao.
Dark chocolate has less sugar the milk chocolate, and contains healthy antioxidants.
"We recommend: How to Use Aloe Vera to Treat Diabetes".
8,Pickles.
Pickles you find in the store are composed of incredible amounts of salt, which increases the risk of arterial hypertension.
If pickles are a part of your regular diet, they generally lead to fluid retention, a condition that affects kidney and cardiovascular health.
Do you eat these foods? If so, try to switch to healthier options to keep your blood pressure under control.
Instead, do what you can to eat more fruits and vegetables, which is highly recommended for managing hypertension.
