You Won't Believe the Horsepower this 1989 Polski Fiat 126p Puts Out - Duration: 5:35.
it's time for show-off Sunday, where everyone has a chance to show off their
own car, and here's this week's winner,
hello Scotty and hello to all the Scotty fans out there, my name is Bart and this
is my pride and joy, 1989 polish Fiat 126 or Polsky Fiat as
their called, so I'm sure you all are very familiar with the Fiat 500, original Fiat
500 or the Cinquecento as it's called, that's the car that was built in the 50's
60's, and 70's in Italy and a car motorized Italy, well this car motorized Poland
over 4 million of these cars were made, over three million, 3.6 million in Poland
it was a car meant to be a car for every Kowalski as they say, it was equivalent of
about 20 months salaries, you could buy this piece of wonderful automotive
technology, cars were rationed and we're very hard to come by and 20 months of
average salary was a lot of money, so really if
you were to get this car you felt like you won a lottery ticket, this car had a
very long production run, it started in 1972 and finished in 2000, all right so
let's quickly go through the car and discuss its technical features or lack
thereof, first I'm sure you're all dying to see
the engine, so here it is 24 horsepower in its full glory, two cylinder
air-cooled 24 horsepower engine that's been really
transplanted to this car from the original Fiat 500, there were some
improvements changed it was made and an engine was increased from 600 cc's to
650, but still a lot of the parts are shared between this engine and a Fiat
500, because of that the parts are still pretty plentiful, you can also fix this
engine very easily, the joke goes that if you have a 10mm
13 millimeter and a Philips screwdriver and a pair of pliers, who can pretty much
replace everything on this car
12 inch tires, the car body is a FL that stands for facelifted, so this car
actually got some more features then there were not present on the original
car and because this car is an export car, it also has some additional features
that were not present on the original car, such as open up rear windows
this sunroof which we actually do not know whether it's factory for export
vehicles or this is something that's been added in the aftermarket I can tell
you for sure that none of the polish cars that I remember from my childhood
had the sunroof and in Poland the son is probably not really all that important
heating is a lot more important, inside believe
it or not my brother and I and my parents would travel in this car on family trips
this actually has an upgraded interior you can see cloth as opposed to vinyl
but it's very Spartan very utilitarian, but it gets the job done, the max speed
of this car is about 120 kilometers an hour, actually this car will go that fast
it goes faster than the book value, so it's about 70 some miles per hour, it
gets about 36 to 40 miles per gallon and the zero to 60 is astonishing 45
seconds or so, it depends if you are driving by yourself or if you have
people with you, 4-speed transmission and first gear
is non synchronized, so you must come to a full stop, otherwise it will grind the
gears, but it's very very basic and very straightforward
front compartment, that's all you get, so unfortunately because of such a
limited space you had to improvise, so if you were going on vacation and you would
have to have a luggage rack on the roof and load up the car, the car actually
weighs about 1,300 pounds, so doesn't have a lot of power reserves and
everything like that, but you could actually add
rack and believe it or not people would be traveling with a front compartment
full with a luggage rack and actually a towing a little camper behind, it was
actually specifically designed for this car, I hope you enjoyed this video if you
do have any questions or comments about this particular car, I do have a or
Alex and I have a youtube channel called called Fiat 126p, that's Fiat 126p
P stands for Polsky, and so you send us some comments and watch our episodes
where we share some of the additional information about the maintenance and
ownership of this very unique vehicle, thanks for watching,
well that was this week's video and remember to have your car video
highlighted here on my channel, check this out,
so if you never want to miss another one of my new car repair videos, remember
to ring that Bell!

Fears How Do You Deal With Yours IYP #16 - Duration: 8:29.
What is that beautiful people you know who it is you know how it is you know?
What it is we do it is yours? Truly the?
Rocky, balboa of this game called life massimo one half of the ignite your purpose show, waiting from a
Main man john b - come on from the isle of man he is on?
What they call the uk as, well as
The united states are both on a long weekend so i know he's and ready for me to drop
Some heat on him and have a very good question for him today came into
my mind this morning when i woke up there he, is right there look at him wearing the shades like a true, boss hogg i
love it
Are you, gonna say hello are you just too cool, for school tickle school, nah man
I definitely see that
Everything's good on your long weekend over in the uk
frickin nope i'm just, gonna take four walk, again hold on
showing, the people show, the people your view ouch
That's pretty impressive brother
That's beautiful enjoy that view people some some people live the dream some of us work you know it is what it is?
so
What's happening, okay, my brother i up this morning with a very very unique question it's been, slipping into
My mind lately
So i'm gonna drop it on you i will answer first because it is a bit of a tougher one and take, some self-awareness
here it is
How, do you on the daily at your basic most basic form
Deal with
Fears your, own fears?
You, want me to drop the answer that i got for it anyway
yeah
Yeah, yes so so for the people listening straight up that's so that's a hard question
Man that's it's something i've been working on for how. Many years john
10 years in the game 10 years in the game
Yeah, so and it's trust, me it's it's something it doesn't not like it gets easier man you just get more aware and that
Is my answer that to be at least aware of what your fears are
For me i can at least address them
And not just put them in a box, sweep them under a rug and pretend like they're not there
We all have a shadow. Side we all have a dark side there's fear and everything we do?
There's fears of everything, fear of not having enough so, by, me just being aware of it i try to
shine light on it
That's that simple i try and shine light on it and i try to walk towards it i'm not
Saying i've solved the fear or i've crushed it i just put some awareness on it and i try to walk towards it
He's put that, yeah pipe and smoke it breath
Man you, had sure i was hoping you were gonna go long today i know, we spoke about
Keeping this little segments down to maybe five or six minutes but i was hoping that you had this big old grin
Basically basically people, what john told me was to stop talking so much so i've now, done it and he's upset, about it
so
you're, saying how, do i
address the fears on a daily, basis your feelings of
I'm not sure got an, answer for that and
You know i think it's really really in the last
The last six months that i've got this cognition. Hey, jana thank you
I've got the cognition he's got a t-shirt just like it, oh
Subject of recognizing, when fear comes up as opposed to just being a behavior and
And the process for which i go through
First something comes up and this is my behavior something comes up and this is what i do?
whereas now i think
The very basic level
I've got this that the self-awareness
Whether it's a fear of success to fear being challenged or criticized
Go, back to meditation i mentioned yesterday i have this this space in my head that allows me to
respond to that
Behavior rather than
Just going, down the same old routine and i'm not sure
You know that year there were days and i'll still, do the same thing there are
Days when i would still be hypercritical at my, own behavior of course?
confidence or self belief or intelligence or
Whatever it might be you know
Just just being a good bloke
That's called being human, right but at least i'm aware of it yeah
Every, day that's
With everything, we do?
It's never, gonna, end it's not like, we just reached
This, pinnacle point, where we're all perfect, we're human beings and it is what it is we're?
gonna work on it daily right but to shed some light like i said i
come from the type of background
My, family just kind of pushes everything under the rug right so to shed some light on it to know, what your fears are?
When, we start touching on fear that's, where, we know we're alive people so?
As much as like our dark sides and all that, we want to avoid, man i'm telling you that's, where life, begins when
We start crushing our fears that is the truth?
okay i
Don't know, what to tell you you all right over there
Yeah, i'm good not because i'm not thinking, about it but this for sure will come up, again, and again and
again so
this morning i woke up and
Might be the topic
in a couple of weeks time
And i hope a lot of better answer for you i think it was i think that was a real answer it was an honest
answer and
but it's true, yeah it's you know, this is
This, is the life, that wit that we're living
and
i i hope i
Kind of it's honest you get?
The version of me you get on any given, day and it'll be the same, be the honest genuine or version
So if i've not got you know. This
Incredibly squared, away answer
That's going to enlighten i can, only apologize for that but it's it's a it's a journey, each and every, day
And what i hope is that what?
You, get with with max and myself being authentic
If you, want to if you see something in in our behavior and the way
We live our life, and you want to look you know beneath the hood, to see there's something of interest there and just
even at one show
I'm going to get that little nugget that will enable me to take that step so to recognize fear in yourself
To, recognize that behavior, again, and again and again that prevents
You being, better today, and that's right there is how, we start breaking these patterns that keep us
Enslaved because in the end we are the prisoners of our own?
System and we are the the ward and we build the prison we're in their, own jails once we start recognizing like
you've talked, about your cognition there, we
Can do something to break these patterns people as always i thank you i know
You could, be anywhere else in the world and you, was right here with us and we appreciate that
We appreciate you john i appreciate you thank you for time almost a long weekend and you live in the dream baby
I'm just living
I'm just living i'm not existing i'm making the best of it so
Matt clayton good to see you padre
Here we've got jake taylor, my an iron man friend from copenhagen last
Year, we appreciate you tuning in thank you very much have an, awesome day get outside yes sunshine
we will see you
Tomorrow, in maine get some vitamin d get your health on people peace we out?

Make Yourself Do It IYP #7 - Duration: 8:28.
Good afternoon, how is everybody? Are we all having an awesome day?
It's dry. It's bright. I've been on a bike in for a walk did some jobs
it's jb from healthy funky free and
One half of the ignite your purpose podcast of which we are still having issues on the tech. So
Please do
DM me and
They will pay you to solve our issues
So here he is. What's up, beautiful?
Oh
Brother what went down there you're eating not sir. What happened? I think I think you possess a date
I'd like to see in a date Oh
Oh, that's brutal that is I
need to go see mark tomorrow and
You know get his three in Japan the bottle superglue
fair enough
Oh, that's did it hurt or y'all good. No, that's fine
See that you're
Living up in there in paradise having your morning Charter and tea. Yeah my morning tea
Put you on the spot
Perfect I'm ready to be put on the spot brother, okay
How do you
Do how do I get myself to do something I don't want to do yep. Oh man
Well, that's that's an it that's a somewhat involved question, but I'll give you I'll give you two points
one comes out of gratitude and gratefulness
And there is another aspect of me that
Somewhat likes the pressure
So if I could you postpone something and there's a somewhat of a you know
A due date or a a point where it needs to be done. Let's say you have 24 hours on our number
20 I just know it has to be done. So then I feel that pressure and I kind of feel that I
best under that pressure
and
Then I just know it has to be done. But a lot of it comes out of gratitude like just knowing
you know, I don't want to do this but
Man, it could be a lot worse. So I just have to man up and do it and knowing my purpose for doing it
Right when it comes to a lot of health stuff, you know. Yeah, I'm tired like for example right now. I'm I'm uh,
What I consider a gopher boy
We're getting a deck billed at our place and I'm just I'm just a helper, right?
I'm the lone helper, man, and it's been really hot, and I'm lugging stuff
Into garbage bins and I'm just I'm just to helping the guys who know what they're doing. Just trying to help them, right?
Yeah, knowing knowing my purpose there that I'm helping them because they're doing a good job. I'm getting something done
And I'm able to physically do it, you know what I mean
I don't I'd rather be doing a whole lot of other things like playing down at the water
but I know it has to be done and
The purpose for it, right? Okay. Well, there's somebody somebody in this house
To the last minute
Yeah, well I could spend it
Change this, but if I leave it, I've got the day send my diary I can park it
Until two days before that date, then I'm going to sit there and I put that time aside
so I'm being efficient and effective with that time, which I quite like but
Personally from for myself. I'm thinking
I'm thinking about again just a day-in day-out stuff and I
Think it's because you don't feel like doing something like
do you like doing that and the feeling is just the feeling and a feeling something else just
Created mine's true. I try my best to take
action
Don't to get up to go trains this morning
But as soon as I sit up I've taken action and it's it's a step closer troop
I don't want to do the dishes over that I'll let that soak for an hour because it'll be easier later rather than Jude. I
Don't feel like doing it
But actually I might like the feeling whenever comes in and all the counters are clear and it's tidy
So just fine by taking action and if I go out to fight and I'm not feeling it
At least I've been out. I've got 30 minutes. I had your exercise you've had some fresh air and I've made the effort whereas if
I didn't like going out and doing exercise
Two weeks three weeks four weeks five months. Oh
and then I can only look at myself for having not progressed and got fitter or
Whatever it might be so true
well you whether it's
exercising training doing the dishes
making that Dilek
Phone call doing the account, which is my worst
You you spoke yesterday and your answer to my question you talked about
You know and this is something that's in every type of practice right? Whether it's your spiritual practice whether it's your religious practice
Everybody talks about making it your routine so that it becomes a way of life. And I think this the lifestyle we practice I think
you just
Again, you see if you're starting at zero. You don't go to a hundred, right?
You don't so it's it's baby steps every day. Like I said doing the dishes. Well, yeah, I can leave them
At night til the morning
or I could just do them that night and you start getting in these routines and they become a habit and they become your
lifestyle, right, so you just
and I guess it takes that spar at spark at some point to actually start do you don't know saying like I
Would say onset so it's a complete lifestyle change like do you want to be better?
Because this is this is how you start
I put my shoes on this way every morning, you know from the day I start till the day I die, right?
Absolutely
That's all we've done wait that was quick and dirty
It's Sunday morning baby well for me, it's Sunday morning for you. It's Sunday afternoon
I
Think we will clock off
we will reconvene and then we will have a discussion about
When we're gonna go long, we've still got a few episodes in the bag
We've got a few
Yeah
And then we need to get going with some longer descriptions
I know it's a couple of guys who were 18 to go online with no big term big term
But also that's probably gonna be easier when you're at home
In not lugging lugging garbage around for other people. Yeah, so I'm gonna say goodbye
Tomorrow and try and joy try enjoy every little thing you're doing not just not just the things we consider epic enjoy the little things
Like having a tea with absolutely nothing around me right now
That's some people dream. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, that's that's some people's they can only wish that this could happen
You know, I mean, so enjoy everything
All right people appreciate it. Peace. All right, bye-bye

It's been a it's been a crazy weekend for me so I have one question for him and it's
It's one I struggled with this weekend to be honest. It was a
Just adding my man John sorry it was
24/7 yet when you're with others taking care of this that the next how do you do it so, mr. John? Yeah
Yep. Can you hear me your brother? Well good
All good in the hood. So I
Think we're we are living limited on time. So
shoot
What well, okay here it is joy so you don't have to my weekend here it's be crazy
Um, you know my lifestyle, you know how I roll. My question to you is a simple one
Doesn't matter who we are how busy we get when you are busy
How do you find the time for yourself it is that simple of a question when you have others around I?
Don't care the situation. We all have busy lives. How do you make time for you?
Easy question. Oh
Yeah
I
Plan it into my diary. I
Schedule my time. I know I'm selfish with it. It's not
you know, I
Won't stick by it, you know earthquakes and hurricanes
Sometimes you've got to be flexible
But I'll shed you all the time to train. I'll schedule the time to to go read a book
I'll schedule the time to spend it with Emma or go temperatures to kids out and
That time is sacred
because there's a written and the reason for this is
and
Unless I am in tip-top condition. I cannot give you
My the best version of me, I'll be compromised in some way. I retired a fatigue
I might be a bit sure or a bit grouchy. I won't listen the conversation or
You know, even we bitch from time to time
And see what I make every best effort you schedule the time in the diary and
And do something for me
There you go. Wow. I
Almost have nothing to say brother. I agree with you 100%
I believe selfishness leads to selflessness. So we're praying with you. You got to put yourself first. So for me
Again, there are times when you said the earthquakes the storms you do have to put other things first
But 99 pointers from the time I try I schedule and I put myself first that's just how it rolls
That's just how we do you have to come first whether your mom and dad a business owner and employee
Nothing else above my health mental physical and spiritual. That's it. You know, I
I say this often with with with busy moms
You know some of them holding down jobs, you know
And they've got two or three kids and the school runs and the parties and the club's really in the house
And they they come and they compromise their own time
Not always but over and over and over and and how can they possibly be?
given the family their best versions
When you're running on fumes right when you are you're on yeah
Out of gas, so there we go. So would love to hear how
You the listener?
Switches off and makes time for yourself fire truth
It is up send us a message private message public message video message
Trevor all right, brother. Have a great day. Yeah, gotta go. Bye
Everybody we appreciate you we know you could be doing anything in the world, you know right here with us right now

third time lucky
Tell us all about his crazy night working. They absorbed max. I
Midnight the challenges
trials and tribulations
That's tell me all about it. I liked what you were saying there. I'm from Canada
I'm in the sticks and we haven't quite cut the internet figured out yet. That's hilarious. Um, I don't know what's going on
Hopefully hopefully it doesn't freeze again, but the question of the day John, so I want to just give you a little background yesterday
I'm out. I'm out here
In the shoe swap of candidates the West Coast. It's a beautiful area and I need to get a deck built
That's not my skill. I have no clue. So I called in a crew some friends
The whole gig was to get them out here rip rock it. It's a pretty massive deck and it was very intricately done and
basically
They got here Friday. They had to leave by Sunday night. Alright, so I knew and this whole time was a very finite thing and
It's a second floor deck. So there's a lot of bullcrap that goes on now yesterday. It was like crunch time, right?
So I had I had to do all this stuff. I'm the Gopher boy
So I'm getting materials that were missed and forgotten and I'm driving half hour here driving half hour there
The dump closes at a certain time. I did a dump run I had to pack up their stuff because they were leaving
so my question to you, John is
In times like this, and this is just everyday life for all of us. But yesterday happened to be very hectic and
overwhelming and a lot of things because I knew
That something had to get done by a certain time and it took a gonna be the night it took till midnight, bro
Then had to wake up before 30. So the question is he's crying for me
How do you stay in the moment when you're under these types of pressure?
What brings you back to the moment because you could let it
Get away with you. You know, I'm saying it could you could let it get the day get away
you could let everything get away from you if you
choose to oh
I got him thinking I got him thinking
So you are I'm just gonna clarify the question you are asking when the shit is going down
with the deadline on
The challenges and the true and the issues are building up. How'd you stay focused enough to?
Deliver no. I'm just saying this simply that I was giving you an example
But I'm saying how do you bring it back in day to day life yesterday was very hectic
That's why I thought of this but how do you just bring it back to?
Being in the present moment and understanding what's going around with you instead of getting going
What how do you bring yourself back to the present moment? There's the question
Cuz life gets in the way bro, yeah. I mean there's a lot of different levels to that
To the answer here and it depends on that's what I'm trying to say at your simplest form at your simplest form
It's well, well first of all
You've got to be conscious enough and aware enough to appreciate when when this is happening
Because it is so common for this
That's the pace of life in which many many many people liver. It's just full on its full go and
They're not aware that
it's getting out of control, but for me, I
Even a couple years ago, I didn't do this nice
It's really happy to answer this because
I've got I've got self-awareness is to when?
Things are under control
and I'm making conscious logical decisions about
The tasks ahead or I'm I'm logically working through a sequence of events
And I think when I start making snap calls, we'll just do it this way or we'll just do it that way
There's a trigger in the back of my mind that says
Hold on the myth mate slow down sit down put the tools down or whatever it is
or mark the car get the map out and
and it's
And logically just just stopping to take a moment to think about it and to breathe and to get your you know
This this frontal core of the brain
To be able to then to say okay, right what needs to be done? What does not need to be done? What would be nice?
but it's
when I start making those snap decisions without having
Logically thought through the process from where I am now to where I'd like to be
I'm not sure
I've been entirely answered the question you did you did you hit you hit on you don't two things that I would say the same
Thing I would say awareness is huge. Now. I'm not talking about self-awareness. I'm talking about situational awareness there and the breath
Those are two things that I would agree with you hundred percent on so you did it definitely answer the question and I'll go one
Step further and just say this. Oh
No, you know got people yell and everywhere one sec
Sorry the job
Um, so I would say this what brought me back to yesterday was with some of the little things right
So I'm driving around a deer ran in front of us, right?
I'm kind of hustling because I got a time line, they'd be back
So I know they need these pieces of wood for blah blah blah a deer jumps in front of me, right? Boom, okay
Men understand I'm under pressure, but I just was like look where you're at bro, and then you know
we're working so late last night and
The moon's coming up the stars are out, you know, so I'm under starlight and I'm going dude take this in you know
Like really take this in. Yeah, you're working and you're doing something you don't want to be doing with a bunch of guys who?
That's midnight now
right and you're just going but look look what the universe is showing me so
And there are so many other things right like waiting in line and beating a cool cool guy. That was telling me the
history of this whole area like orchard fields and you know a lady actually bought me a little
Juice shot and it's so many things that it just even though I was on finite time line
I had all this stuff to do and you had people relying on me to get there
The universe was just constantly putting things in to just remind me. Hey, today's a beautiful day bro, and you're fucking alive
straight-up I
have an example like that from today, so
Up at five quick meditation on the place I am
Open through all around the coast for a bit then up into the hills
and it's
Beautiful not a breath of wind. It was warm blue skies, and my head is down and I'm looking at the tarmac
Doing your thing, I looked up and there's two peregrine falcons playing tag with two seagulls. Oh, haha
So I just pulled over
And I
Could have just cycled past them
I thought nothing of it, but totally you know, it's like it's a nature for that in front of you
It's not a days jump for that front of you on the road
Your road is going through it's garden truth
So so the fact that you know, you've had the opportunity to see there of these Falcons
It's that little message from there, you know
Just stop take a moment look around take a breath be thankful just fills you with the energy and it gives you that
good vibration truth
And it all comes back face
It comes back from that awareness. I get that that's a little bit more of a deeper consciousness
We're talking about but at the base form like you said man, it's just these little hints from the universe that says hey you
You are alive man be thankful
And that's where I'm gonna let and my side on John's. I know
That's all I got for you
Okay. Well, I think if we both answered the question there then we could
We could do on what's the rest of your day. Are you heading back home tomorrow? I am brother
Okay. Well, they've got the Internet and city have neck so
Yeah, we're we still live it will still live in igloos here you know that right yeah
Okay, right. Well, I think that's enough from
Him and from I and we will be back tomorrow with another
episode another five minute
Daily question we put each other on the spot on the daily keeping it honest keeping it real. There's a trip
our life and our experience from negative to positive truth leaving home at 13 14 years old and
Getting it done
No, you kneel down brother
Yeah, okay, okay
Peeps as always appreciate it
We know you could be anywhere in the world and you right here with us and we are very thankful for that
See you John

Today Is Your Last What Do You Do IYP #17 - Duration: 6:48.
good afternoon, from the isle of man it's john johnny b j to the b i
Just, like john
from the ignite your purpose podcast one half of the duo max ma x is
he's gonna, jump online, any so here he is
That was quick man ah?
man yeah just saying that one half of the duo max is online now there is
It's our mission to ignite your purpose to make your day
Just to make it a little bit more conscious so you can, make better decisions about, how
You, choose to spend your time the people you choose to spend it with
The fact that you get out of those experiences because
We're only around for a minute every person on this planet will be dead in a hundred years
That's not ribbit i'm just saying i don't give a. Fuck, about anybody there cuz, they'll all be dead soon
So max hadean today
You know what it was? We had our week of summer here in canada and it looks like it's back to winter so i
Got a winter clothes on i got a toque i got had to put on a shirt look at that head, oh?
it's terrible
I'm sure it'll be right back out pretty soon, oh yeah i'm checking out the flights to to pop over for a few
Days, some acts and i can?
Just, jail and gets the stuff done but yes question of the day, from me to you
Unprompted as as always a few, days, ago you
mentioned that one of your practices
For a few months?
Was to live, like today is your last day on god's green earth
Tomorrow, you're gonna, die so we're not reading to be morbid but
Max what would you do today?
If it was your last one oh?
my, god that's you found nothing and
I'm pretty sure you'd have an answer
Well what do i owe?
Man if it was all over tomorrow. You know, yep i think about this all the time brother you know, and
You know i think it's a tough i honestly think it's a tough question
man what would i do it was if it was it i would definitely be sorry, my phone's ding in there yeah i
Would definitely?
Do all the little things you know i'm saying like
Smell the roses man sip your tea if it was your last kiss the one you love, like it's the end
And i do get a little emotional about this question because i think, about it man i think, about all the trivial little things
Where you get in arguments with a co-worker or?
Yada, yada yada yada and none of that would exist you would hug, each and every last one of them
You, would tell them how, much they mattered to you
Excuse me i do like i get to
Because because sometimes
We don't do that you know i mean and and if it were to end more you you
Would be regretful if you didn't say, those things to those people you know i'm saying
yeah, sorry man i think i'm yeah i
Think, about this one all the time brother and it's
It's it's still a work in progress it really is like
Sorry, yeah head yeah
sorry i
Don't know if that's the hundred percent, answer you were looking for but
It's this is the authenticity right there it the answer that you have today in tomorrow it may
Well be somewhat different now i can't say as i've
given this, that much thought and
I'm not sure i've got an answer
obviously spending it with the ones you love is you know, that's the obvious one and that would be
That'd be emma at the moment and maybe not necessarily?
All the members of the family, that people think they, would spend the time with because
You know, we all live in dysfunctional lives this is really made me think a little bit more
About son about how. Long, we you know, we have on this planet?
And i was i was thinking, well my mum 70 and let's say for example i saw, her twice a, year
The average
Age doesn't gonna live - in the uk and probably the us and canada is 78 so that would mean i would see my mum
16 more times
You know and that makes you really just?
and think slightly differently, about the time and how, to kind of leverage every every second out of it
And just think a little bit more about about what you do each and every day so
Have you really got a deep a deep answer fear
But i thought i'd ask. You them, what i
Considered to be an easy question for you, because you've you
Practice it live it but i think you came up with a great authentic
answer there guy
Walleston croft is in the house i'm gonna wave it in so grab a good friend of mine should be doing
Some work i should be doing, some work is there a. Tea shop, today but i'm gonna go tomorrow
Some guy i'm gonna be out in the morning so
There you go but from, me that's it we'll be back tomorrow
As always thank you for tuning in and for listening and
we hope we've brought, you a little bit of value today and
Max have you guys have you got a takeaway for anybody, before we?
Forward to name it's the little things man
screw the trivial bullshit
None of that will matter when you're taking your last breath, man that is the truth that's
You know it's the little things that we've, we so overlooked in this life man
You know even when we're on hikes and stuff we're worried, about the destination we're, not really taking in the smells the birds chirpin
We just want to get to the top of that mountain or that river or that waterfall right and to slow
Down and just just enjoy and be thankful
Yeah, let's send that cellphone off for just a little bit more you, don't need to reply to that email
Immediately that comes in just spend a bit more time on yourself and
Well that's it just rambling now, so i'm gonna check out have a good, day
We appreciate you people we know you could be anywhere in the world and you right here with us and we love you for that?
Talk, soon
Bye, bye, bye bye!

Wake Up Practises That Are Now Just Routine IYP #14 - Duration: 7:58.
What is up beautiful people it is yours truly the Rocky Balboa of this thing we call life this game
We call life waiting from a Manman
Johnny B to jump on from the UK
Want to thank you guys first and foremost for some of those cool questions coming in
You know, I'm at the gym daily lifting iron because you can tell about how massive I am
but to get cool questions
Is a good workout for the brain and it keeps you thinking and it keeps you with that childlike mind
So we appreciate we love it
It's a beautiful thing an absolutely beautiful thing
Waiting for Johnny B to jump on to the ignite your purpose
Flavor while I sip my tea. Oh there is
Always learning always learning we go this morning on who's going live. I guess he went live at the same time I did
So yeah, nothing but fun. Uh-huh. There he is
Mr. J to the B the UK legend himself live in the flesh
At last we've been playing
technology tennis courtesy of
the Facebook today you've been
Not playing the game or
Either that or we're not up to speed on all the things to do, but we are here we are live
Thank you as always for taking the time to listen to
Max
And myself to listen to what we have to say what we have to share
On a daily basis. Hope you're bringing you value. Maybe a couple of ideas or suggestions
that
Enables you
just
act differently or behave differently or take a different angle into the same old thing just to
Just be a bit there just to be a bit better every day
Baby steps and that is the perfect preload to the question. I'm gonna ask you
because as
Some of you may know because I happen to talk a lot. I've been in a Soto's in practice for 10 years
Have I said that before John
Anyway what? I don't think
I'll try I'll tell you again tomorrow but a student a new student who joined asked me this question
And I thought I'd ask you because it actually made me think as well. So he asked me what is the one?
Prime and I'm asking myself the question and I've got two ends and I'm trying to get it down to one
so I'll answer first but
What is the one?
Habit that you've created so now it's a lifestyle. It's it's not something you do
Once in a while, it is the one thing you've added to your wake up or morning routine
This is the question. He asked me so I
I've narrowed it down to two
I'm trying to get it to one but it is this
every morning I wake up and I stay in silence for a minimum of half-hour and
In that half-hour I just walk around whether it's brewing a cup of hot water brew a cup of tea
And I just I'm just thankful. I'm just thanking the fact that have a roof over my head
I have clothes on I have some money in the bank. I have hot water. I have a tea
That's the one thing I have implemented and I will not stray from that
Okay
Max and I know each other because we tend to operate on about the same level which means some things
That some of these questions were asked we will have the same or similar answers
Max does his
Morning gratitude in silence. I do mine out loud. I have a morning
vocal live
Affirmation to myself nice weather
Well, I'm kind of doing it in-between cleaning my teeth or I come downstairs and do we've got a big mirror in the hall here
and I will say
Thank you for my health for my eyesight for my hearing for this body that enables me to do these physical exercises
Thank you for living in this house. Thank you forever upstairs. Who's the love of my life? Who?
And it rolls on at each day. I add something new and add something different and it's not the same because we know that
When you begin to say it, you may not believe it. You may not even sound like it makes sense
You might feel like an idiot
Yes, but bit by bit by bit
This changes the gray matter changes the programming and you start accessing different parts of the brain
Which transform gratitude?
happiness contentment
So that is what I do every morning name
There you go same I mean somewhat the same but very different completely different the reason I stay in silence is because
You know being a guy who writes music and does a lot of business
I stay in that silence mode and you see me talking from sauna confessions when I'm always in there
I start journaling but either way the practice of just being appreciative and thankful and grateful that
Sets your whole day your whole month your whole week your whole life up in a whole new
Truthfully looking back to where I was to where I'm at now
It's it's completes a hundred eighty degrees or 360 and what you call but it's completely different. It's a beautiful thing
so if there's one thing you can try and implement you as the the viewer the the
Person trying to be better every day. Just like us
Try that, just wake up and say man. I'm so happy that I'm a lot hyv man. I'm so happy. I just woke up
Clsid yeah. Yeah, the the first words out of my mouth every morning. I
Am going to happen or someday today?
They are the first words at my nose
Cuz that's it. I've been sets the intention
rather than think about
Business or whatever happened yesterday or what? I might do next week. I just say my intention
I I am going to have an awesome day today
Two beautiful serene setting intention for the day so you might make better
It's the same as in the morning. You can have a bacon sandwich or a muffin or whatever it is
But on those mornings where you grab a smoothie or a juice?
You've set the intention for the day when you come to mid-morning up to lunchtime
You may just go tell how to use this morning
I may take a salad you may not but sets that that's really it's it's it's it's a standard bar, right?
Like where do you want to be in them in this journey called life but to start out your morning
Instead of maybe instead of putting on the news and it's doom and gloom and that's kind of how your day starts
just yeah, just
Just try not
And I'll have a two minute bath by yourself and be thankful. See what happens
Yeah, you know, I don't spend routine. It's you know, it sounds a little bit
John's life is the same but how to go to bed routine. Have a waiting up routine
And it just cycles into the next thing it just gets better and better and better in in
And after it becomes routine in habit, it's a lifestyle now in
It doesn't change right you can't. Hey, what did Foxy Brown say back in the day?
You can't go from first class to coach. You can't you know what I mean?
Once you feel this good it's hard to go back. So try feeling good people. That's all I gotta say
as
Always I thank and appreciate each and every one of you because you could be doing anything in the world and you right here with
Us and it's a beautiful thing
Yeah, thanks Bruce, thanks John we're doing that

8 Foods That Aren't As Healthy As You Think - Duration: 8:41.
8 Foods That Aren't As Healthy As You Think
Have you decided to start living a healthy lifestyle? For some people, this can come from a desire to eat healthy foods, to have a better figure, or to fight a disease.
If you are making a plan, keep in mind that your reason is one of the least important things.
What's important to know is that there are some foods that you think are healthy but aren't.
They can even sabotage your efforts.
This happens a lot due to misinformation or marketing strategies.
There are some foods that are the reason we don't see the results we want when we should be getting them.
These foods are very misleading.
This is because many are healthy or say they're low in calories.
Because of this, we're going to give you a list of foods that you think are healthy but aren't.
1,Prepackaged salads.
Prepackaged salads are foods that we usually buy in supermarkets.
And, we think they're healthy.
Even though it's made with a vegetable base, sometimes these are low in nutrition.
Also, it's common for these salads to be frozen for several weeks.
This means that the food isn't fresh.
This also means that food preservatives were used.
If that's not enough, the majority of these salads come with dressings that are high in salt, sweeteners, and preservatives.
The best option is for you to prepare the salads yourself.
Doing this not only saves you money, but you will also lose weight.
2,Commercial smoothie.
Not all smoothies are the same.
Sometimes we think they're a healthy food.
When something is labeled as a smoothie, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's healthy.
Commercial smoothies usually have:.
Refined sugar. Fat.
Extra, unnecessary calories. Chemicals.
It's much cheaper and easier to make your own smoothies in the morning.
This way you'll be sure to use fresh fruits and vegetables that are in season.
Also, you'll have control over the portions all the time.
3,Trail mix.
Surely, you've bought dried fruit and nut trailmixes on more than one occasion.
These are sold in supermarkets or corner stores.
And we get them because we think that they're healthy.
If you're buying dried fruit mixes in large quantities, you should know they usually have:.
Sulfites that act as preservatives.
A high-fat content. Stale seeds.
Too much salt.
If you chew these fruits as a snack between meals, choose dry seeds or fresh fruits and vegetables.
4,Granola and energy bars.
Many commercial granola and energy bars have high fructose corn syrup, refined sugar, and both saturated and trans fats in their ingredients.
It's much healthier to make your own batch of homemade granola bars.
Try several recipes until your find your favorite.
5,Low-fat products.
Foods made without fat don't guarantee the weight loss you might be looking for.
In fact, healthy fats give a feeling of fullness.
However, you should be very careful with these foods that say they're fat-free.
They can be giving you empty calories.
The best thing you can do is either make food for yourself or eat organic foods 80% of the time.
6,Frozen yogurt.
Frozen yogurt is the most deceiving thing of the century.
Many people think that by eating it, they're choosing a healthier option.
In reality, this isn't true.
They add a large amount of refined sugar.
Frozen yogurt also has artificial flavorings added.
If you really want a better frozen yogurt option, you can make your own with natural yogurt.
Sweeten it with stevia, add fruits, and remember to not add too much.
7,"Healthy" drinks.
Diet drinks or anything similar should be removed from your list of supposedly healthy foods.
This is because these chemical concoctions aren't better than drinking a glass of regular soda.
They are usually full of synthetic chemical sweeteners that have been related to cancer.
You should always avoid them.
Instead, drink coconut water.
Or, simply make a little fruit-infused water.
8,Whole wheat bread.
This is another one of the foods that you think is healthy but isn't.
The label on these breads usually says that they're very healthy, and you can eat them every day.
However, the reality is that eating these breads is just the same as eating white bread.
Many breads that are labeled with the words "multigrain" or "wheat" are generally made with refined grains.
Because of this, you don't get as much nutritional benefit from whole grains.
Be sure that you always read the ingredients.
Or, better yet, make it yourself with gluten free flour.
It's not hard and you'll love it.

How Do You Deal With Stress IYP #28 - Duration: 10:02.
Sup beautiful people
Break the beat baby. Um, it is ignite your purpose
We goin live again today as always John from the alum and me west coast of Canada
Together we are ignite your purpose love and life
We are the rocky Balboa's of this game called life and we are here to pass on some of our knowledge. Hopefully helps you out
All I know is when I was a young buck
I wish somebody was able to get on Instagram or whatever the hell were on and help us in our evolutionary process and
That's what we're here to do people today. We have another viewer question. It's so good because it keeps our man's done
He's gone
Are you back what he lost you that it was? No, but I miss the words. Oh
my turn ah
Today when you edit that, er, yeah. Well, yeah
It'll be okay
Okay, we're going thank goodness we we have a question from a viewer of you a good friend of mine ex-soldier
From the British Army's great guy and I
Got a challenge recently in his in his life. I'm not at liberty to share them just yet, but he may
He may come on JJ. Do you wanna come on the show?
But he's asked the question. I Bernadette over here fellow crabber
Craig yeah crap
And he asked have we I you me us
He's asking Maxim myself, and we had me stress recently
stressful life in any way and
If so, have we dealt with it, and I've got an answer for myself
Self-inflicted stress I'm afraid but Maxim it'll roll. I hope to you you can
spin your shit and
throw it back my way when you've
when you can't okay, beautiful people first off in foremost if
Anybody tells you they do not have stress on this here planet of ours. They're full of shit
We are all human. So we're all going through stress because it's it's part of our life. It's being live
Its what one of the reasons were put on earth, I'm sure is to deal with it
so if anybody tells you unless you're a guru up in the mountains who has somebody bring them a grain of rice every day and
Has nothing to worry about you. I all of us will deal stress
Having said that John is a hundred percent. Correct? It is
99.9% of the time self-inflicted
Myself I one of the businesses I have run
I am going through a ton of stress right now
And I mean stress for my stress load which is not huge but it is still stress nonetheless and it is all
self-inflicted
from staff finding staff issues for people to do the work to dealing with the clients to
expansion retractions all of that in the end
It's all self-inflicted because in the end does it really matter? Right? Does it is it?
They are issues. Yes. Are they enough to get you stressed out?
probably not because in the grand scheme of things when I'm 98 years old taking my last breath or a
Hundred ninety eight years old take my last breath. Am I going to worry about June 5th?
1983 when Suzie wanted something done a day sooner. I
Don't think so. There you go. So stress is relative and it does come back to our self-awareness and
Being in our mind because it's always in our mind
It's always the story of the past and the future when we're in the present moment. There is no such thing as stress. So
We got to get out of our head people. That's where it comes from
All my stress is brought on by stories that I've created that are not even reality
dodging
The monkeys chattering away first thing Mac. Can you see me?
You can okay because I've got a blank screen at this end. So who's gonna keep this you look really good?
Point out the camera. You look good. I'll just hope it's okay
I've I've been stressed recently. Yes. I have I would say is massive. I've got coping skills now
oh, yeah, I know when it when it's happening, but I also appreciate as
stress is brought up in that place between where you are your present moment and
Where you'd like to be there's you know present moment on our way on
The future they said your desired state
Ideally, I'd like to be full-time creating on the Block on the blog
But there's this kind of gray area in the middle
where how do we get from A to B and it causes a bit of stress now part of that is also
Self-inflicted because I decided this year last year
Life is not about earning more money rather. It's about spending a bit less
And because of that, it's great
Which for me is of much greater value than all money in the world
Allows me the freedom to get up go draining look after Anna and work when I choose to
You know, there are still requirements for finances
I'm sure lots of people think I'm quite wealthy because I just float around on my flip-flops and
my bike
but a
Gabon, it's not it's not like that all the time it
There are times and I worry about money and haven't got enough work
But then I'm going to say why do you not have enough work?
I've not made a phone call to an old client now in 18 months or 2 years. I've not currently Flyers out
I've not sent any email
Chasers or anything like that. So I've created this environment myself, so
Yeah, I've been a bit stressed about about the finances
but I've also
Appreciated that. It's a situation
created and the greater good out of that is
Not that I don't know all this work and all this money and a bank for a cash. It's that I have this freedom and
Liberty to come and go as I please
And do as I will
Think I answered it just the bang I like
Some facets to it. Sorry max corn
I was just gonna say this also people we have to understand we are in one dimension
we are a third dimension being if you believe in this and only if you believe in this and I
Tend to we have to understand there's other forces at play
I spoke about this a while ago a couple days ago when I found out this information
Uranus is in Morris. There is gonna be a bunch of yeah
It's a little bit fufu for those who may not believe in it, but understand
Stress will be created so that you can deal with it so that you can learn from and evolve. So
understand there's also other forces that play if you believe in more than one realm, which I tend to
Just an extra a little bit of knowledge there. Thank you that that's free that bit
Um, so do we do we have any takeaways full?
Everybody you back there. He's dealing with stress
Yeah, but I've just had a mind blank, I'm sure
You know do your own get out of your own mind
Get out your own fucking way
Usually that's that's it and understand this thing is gonna play that same movie 24 hours a day
seven days a week 365
Years after year after year, so you have to control it. Don't let it control you. Yeah
easier said
I've got one I've got I've got to take away
So we've got a problem in lis in our in our minds and hugely within our minds
because it's
That's the perspective we have because we are looking at this problem with focusing in so that's what we're viewing
So we almost got we almost need to step back to change on a spec to the what's going on
So whether you can pay yourself, you've got a roof you've got food
You've got money compared to the rest of the world of the planet. You're pretty good but the reshaping your perspective, so if you think
my girlfriend's cheating on me and
I suppose she's not by the way
So rather than think about dialing in an app you take a step back and think well maybe
She's she's unfaithful she's untrustworthy and you you can come up with these lists of
character traits and personalities
Elements which might make her not the best person for you
So instead of focusing in on what you're definitely gonna miss you can say and what am I going to gain?
You know, there you go. I like it. I like perspective
Take a step back
Go down the pub fight your best show
Mr
Healy only live once baby we only live once stress
Well, I'm gonna say goodbye
People thank you we know you could be anywhere in the world and you right here with us, we appreciate that
I'll keep asking the tough questions. We'll try to get you something from our experience to feedback feedback
Just just send us a personal message DMS
comment on on the video
Find us on Instagram or YouTube or wherever it might be
but let's let's try and get a get a conversation going with the community and
Every now and again something will work for you
And the rest of the time with we're entertaining if nothing else
Exactly. Yeah maxing it out. Ah
Thank you so much people appreciate you bye-bye back

Enough Is Enough IYP #27 - Duration: 8:15.
Good afternoon, good evening. Good morning. Good day
Hello, how are you? Welcome to
our show it is the
Midnight your purpose podcast ma hex over there and myself over here and it is
It's our mission to educate and encourage engage
to inspire
beyond the age of 20 30 40 50 80
100 just to share some of our experiences
In the day to day with you to be better and do better
So max I think you've got something to say today you can do an intro if you like
We just roll in to where you can just talk time to talk. I can I could talk man
I got the gift of gab. Yeah, man for me. It's all about the journey from pause negative to positive
That's basically my life story and those who know me know how I came up and all that jazz
So we're just two guys who have flipped it and we're you know
I I wish somebody could told me some of this stuff when I was in my diecut deepest darkest spots
So that's what we're doing this
um
Today's question. We're gonna have Graham back on he and I had his conversation
He's got a good question. But inadvertently this this came out and it was
How do you know when enough is enough?
So John however, you want to take that and in for all of us listening it can be money
It can be sex. It could be females males. It could be work. It could be real estate
yada-yada-yada cars
Drinks terrible. Good bad food
But in general, mr. John, I'll try to give you a couple more seconds to think there. Really I
Have use those seconds. Well, um
Ultimately it comes down to self-awareness
How were you gonna say that uh-huh? You stole my shit obvious ahead. I
Think it comes down to self-awareness which comes from the inside not the outside
consensus to yours effective on world
you've
How you view the world through what you hear and what you read and what you see
And so we can have a very close perspective to to what is enough
And
I am by the way on blagging this on the Scott if I'm talking too much shit
I'll come back and redo it later. So
I think yeah comes out the perspective and also comes down to whether we have a
Broad or specificall
Goals or high one? So if we just want more money and we've just got this general outline of
More money more money is more money than you've got this much and you've got this much
But it's just this general more money. We don't know what more money is, but if we were to say
Specifically, excuse me. I
will work or I will save or I will invest until I have
ten thousand pounds 100 thousand pounds
100 million gazillion pounds
More something that's more
specific
and then you can say well that that is enough and then beyond that it just comes down to
Your greed or your ego lack active again?
And I'm sure we can translate that through to many parts of our life through where we have these
general goals that I
Wish you watch me to something specific that you can aim for
I hope
You most suit
My feet not bad on the hoof. I liked it, bro. I liked it. Um, so what I'm gonna do the first two disclaimer because
I'm not there yet. I
We are all human and this this is gonna take a lifetime
But on the higher level on the spiritual side
if you want to call it on the higher vibration the other dimensions the truth of the fact is until
each and
Every one of us can rely sad
Hey, listen, we are enough
It will never play out in the external world
so if we don't think we're enough we're always gonna be searching for
more
She's here. That's it
So if you and I don't think we're enough we will always always be
Searching for more and I talked to John about this earlier, like for example views why because we feel that those views
Validate how good John and I are oh I'm getting tingles bro. Cuz that's the deep shit right there, right? So
Until that's it. That's a simple now don't get it twisted. I am NOT there and I've been doing this for like ten years man
We are human
You have the ego you have so many crazy programs in in play that
You always think it's something out there that's gonna give you that
Validation the world sees me on this massive stage and I am validated
That's horseshit man. It's it's in you. Yeah, honey
I'm really glad you're in this this validation
I'm doing a presentation in a couple of weeks at a group we go to book review
And I don't do public speaking fair Utley on deck
Or I did
and some of the stuff that I've been working on is
Who am I doing this for am I doing it for the group am I doing for the audience?
What I've eventually been into is actually I'm doing it for myself because I believe I've got something to share something of interest
May or may not find useful of interesting, but but I believe they will
but if they don't it's irrelevant because I was doing this presentation is book review this
This mountainous task, which I've creator of the past freaking gazillion years
because I'm doing it for me and
What I get out of it is what I get out of it, and I will pat myself on the back
I will enjoy it and that is that so
Yeah often we do it for validation because we're pat on the back to be told we're clever wrong
When I press button and where did we learn that from?
Coming out the mama's womb because we always want to be validated by love
by we did it to a job son or daughter, right and
Agreements with John said back to a couple shows ago all those little things
whether it's one view or one public speaking gig
We have to celebrate those small victories because those small victories will lead up to an avalanche of
changing the way we once were do it is it isn't brightest we
Need that validations since we were sucking on our moms. Boot. That's basically the truth. I think I think that's B. Yeah
I think it's important too
It's a whole nother conversation
Tell your child that's a very clever that that's great. But also not just Pat them on the back were doing the good things
Celebrate the failures as well celebrate the effort putting in the hard work and trying
and build this thing through through those
exercises because in no time at all, the whole freaking world will
This is true never be like John I think that's a perfect place to end. What do you think? Yeah
I'm adding it done you done people. We thank you
As always we know he could be anywhere in the world and you hanging right here with mister, Canada and Mister UK
We appreciate have a great Friday
Thank you very much. Enjoy your weekend, bye-bye

Secret To Happiness - When Was The Last Time You Tried Something New? - Duration: 9:17.
So you want to be happy? There's so many ways to be happy we're going to get awfully
specific and granular if you will on this particular episode as we're outside
at a football field. The turf smell, aaaahh...
Hi everybody, how you doing? It's Scott and Jeff once again as we are on a quest
for happiness. How to be happy? It's what everybody wants.
It's what everybody needs and by golly, even though we don't know jack squat I
mean we're the first to admit it. Although we are professional public
speakers and authors, we travel the world, we talk about being happy at work, how to
be better bosses, how to appreciate and recognize great accomplishments, sort of
the soft stuff. The hard stuff, we pretty much leave up to conjecture and our
opinion because that's more entertaining. Yeah. So in this episode we are here at
Riverton High School in Riverton Utah. Home of the
fighting, dancing, proud silver wolves. I don't know what a silver, oh it's just a
wolf. That's silver. You think that's what it is? It's probably at least... Or do they
know sniffs silver out? What does that mean? I don't know. So we're here on the
football field because we want to talk about being happy. And one of the ways and
we talked some about so many ways of being happy. But one of them is you know
open yourself up to new things and we've talked a lot about getting out and doing
and trying new things and doing new hobbies. But we wanted to talk a little
bit today about becoming a new spectator. Like finding new things to get out that
you might enjoy observing or if not out, in. Mmm-hmm... Well, let me ask you this.
Have you ever been a season ticket holder to anything? Art, sports, concert,
you know whatever you can get season tickets for. Oh no that's pretty good. Yeah. I
hadn't thought of that because that's an active, yeah, season ticket. Yeah. So you're
actually getting at what resort was it? It was Sundance. Oh yeah, just a tiny,
little resort right? But it's beautiful and that means it's just a really easy
course quite honestly. It's perfect for you because of your athletic ability. I
mean in general. No. Yeah, but if you ever had a season ticket do you get season
tickets to things? I never had season tickets to socker,
but I always wanted to because there's a Real Salt Lake RSL is here and so for a
while from a corporate perspective we had loge seats. A company that I worked
with had their own lodge and so it was dinner before the match and then seats
out on the balcony and they bring you food and waiters with the things on
their arms. Remember when you were doing radio... When I was in radio years ago as a
morning show host, I got press seats right down on press row which at
the time were the first two rows. So you're sitting right between both
benches. You're hearing the coaches swear and yell. The referees everything they
say, all the players then you go into the locker rooms afterward and you get
interviews and I met all you know, Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Jordan and
Dominique Wilkins. This was you know... Magic Johnson for a time. A bunch of all
the you know, you go the visitors locker room. It's a lot of fun. But being there,
being part of it even if you're not a basketball fan, basketball for my money
as my wife she's not a big fan of a lot of sports because they're slow and boring.
And she doesn't understand them. She hates soccer. So soccer, she's starting to get
into because it is fairly fast-paced. Not a lot of scoring, mind you but it's
fairly easy to understand. Basketball she loves but football is very difficult for
her. Yeah. Because of all the rules and she doesn't really want to learn the
rules. She just wants to enjoy a game. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Or watch the
Super Bowl commercials. Super Bowl is fun and she'll watch the Super Bowl
which is cool too but there is interestingly enough speaking of
football since we are on a football field. There is the longest
waitlist in the world, I know it, for season ticket holders. Do you know what
it is? It is a Green Bay Packers. It is the Green Bay Packers. The wait list to get
season tickets has been estimated at 30 years. There's a hundred and
thirty thousand people on the wait list to get season tickets. Twenty degree
below weather.. Lambeau Field right? Yeah, the Frozen Tundra
not amazing but a thirty year and it's because it's a family thing and the
people, they've passed them down to their kids. They inherit those. They're never
going to give up those seats. Crazy. Can you imagine waiting that long?
I cannot. Or wanting to? Yeah. You could probably just get a single game ticket
just by walking up to the gate and saying you got any seats? Yeah, come on in.
Come on in cheese head. Let's watch some pack a football. So how to be happy?
Open yourself up to discovering new things. You might become a fan. I recently
in the last few years became a fan of Mixed Martial Arts. The UFC.
Yeah. They have so much out there. I've always loved boxing and I always loved
kickboxing as a kid. I loved all the contact sports but now with UFC and it's
you know it's got referees, it's got rules, it's not just poking eyes
and grabbing sacks or anything nonsense. You know pulling hair, grabbing sacks. You know
I mean. Sacks... Yeah speed wagon. Yeah.I mean it's all
of it... It's more about you know two people men and women, who've trained for
it, who want to do it, who are eager to do it, no one's putting a gun to their head
and they're in there as athletes enjoying time knocking each other. You
know the one I'm not, I don't think I'll ever get into as far as a spectator
sport? Is marching band? Here? They come I wonder if they're coming into the fifth
street.. We'll see. Is that Cricket. Oh I see cricket. I don't think I...A match goes on
for what? 3 days until it's over? We don't know what the score is? Time to
learn the rules and maybe read some history about it, I'm sure I would... Now
the one over... Really? You're sure? Yeah, but now this was what I was starting
to go over and speak in Australia a lot right? So I'm exposed to cricket. I also
got exposed to Rugby and that was easy. That's a good one. Just awesome.
Let's take a moment. Dance with that good old silver wolf band. They're over there
marching and I think they're getting ready for a parade. So I more practice
but we talk about doing new things You know learning an instrument. I'm
trying to think if there's anything in a marching band that I would want to learn.
Maybe the drums. Drum, yeah. I think drumline is cool. That or the tuba. I can
be the whistle guy. Okay, to finish up our little video today on trying new things,
we're going to try to kick extra points. It looks so easy.
I mean it's like the easiest part of the whole game. The kicker could make
millions of dollars and only has to do is he could be fat, he could be short, he
could be ugly, probably is. So we think this is where the extra point comes from.
We're going to hold our... We're going to tee it up for each other and see if we can do
it. This is ah... It's about right. Right here about the 7 or 8 yard line.
I'm going to try it with a real ball. Oh Jeff you are... Let me just see, okay I'm
going to hit and I'll try not to kick you. Don't don't let it go Charlie Brown. Is
it Lucy that lets it go? Are you. going to be able to see if I make it? Oh
yeah, he says. Nate Woodbury, Be the Hero Nate. Here we go. Alright, Jeff's
turn. That was terrible. I'm going to drop it. Oh, I dropped it and you still almost did
it. Oh that was way, way better than mine. I can't even do it. The football I like
is the type with the round ball. Tt's more globular. If you get a chance
especially on a beautiful summer day. Grab a football, grab some kids, get
outside. Maybe a Frisbee. Have some fun in your front yard or take over a high
school field. We literally have driven away the
marching band. Yeah they're marching in the opposite direction. A power of a
camera baby. So what do you think? Thinking a football can make you happy
especially if you make it. But hey, what else have you tried? Yeah. You never would
have... We at least tried. You're just sitting there watching us.
Like some kind of non trier. That's right. So try. She said it.
