5 Steps for Achieving a Win-Win Negotiation - Duration: 3:08.

Welcome to Mind Tools' video learning series.

Do you dread entering a negotiation at work?

Perhaps you're worried about "playing hardball,"

and the impact that this might have on your work-based relationships.

After all, for someone to win, someone else has to lose, right?

Well... not necessarily.

Win-win negotiation enables both parties to feel that they've got a good deal,

and that neither is a "loser."

One way to achieve a win-win is to use Principled Negotiation.

A five-step strategy developed by Roger Fisher and William Ury in their book, "Getting to Yes."

The first step of Principled Negotiation is to separate the people from the problem.

This means putting personal differences and emotions to one side,

and focusing on the issue at hand.

Try to avoid viewing the other party as your "opponent."

Instead, "put yourself in their shoes,"

empathize with their position,

and look for common ground.

Next, focus on interests, not positions.

People are rarely difficult just for the sake of it.

There's always a good reason behind their position,

such as their values, responsibilities or culture.

The likelihood is that they will be more receptive to your point of view,

if you show them that you're aware of these factors.

The third step is to invent options for mutual gain.

Be open to the possibility that you may find a completely new solution to your problem.

Use the negotiation to explore your options.

Brainstorm ideas together,

and develop them into new proposals.

Then, use an objective criteria.

Agree on a set of standards that will frame your negotiation.

These might include legal standards,

a mission statement,

or the terms of the contract, for example.

Not only will this give you a shared foundation to work from,

it will also demonstrate that you trust each other and respect each others values.

Finally, you need to know your BATNA!

This is your Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement.

In other words, your "fallback" option if you can't get everything you want.

Knowing your BATNA will help you to decide whether or not to accept a deal.

If the offer on the table is worse than no deal at all,

you can safely walk away.

But, if it's better, you can accept it, and both parties will be satisfied!

To learn more about Win-Win Negotiation,

read the article that accompanies this video.

Legends Never Die (ft. Against The Current) - Duration: 3:00.

Legends never die

when the world is calling you

Can you hear them screaming out your name?

Legends never die

they become a part of you

Every time you bleed for reaching greatness

Relentless you survive

They never lose hope when everything's cold and the fighting's near

It's deep in their bones they run into smoke when the fire is fierce

'Oh pick yourself up, cause

Legends never die

when the world is calling you

Can you hear them screaming out your name?

Legends never die

they become a part of you

Every time you bleed for reaching greatness

Legends never die

They're written down in eternity

But you'll never see the price it costs,

the scars collected all their lives

When everything's lost

they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat

Before it all starts,

they suffer through harm

just to touch a dream

'Oh pick yourself up, cause

Taloc Guide - Normal and Heroic Taloc Boss Guide - Duration: 3:37.

Hi! I'm Hazel, and this a a guide to the Taloc raid boss in Uldir on Normal and Heroic difficulty.

This is the first boss of the first raid of BfA. He's a Titan Construct that's supposed

to be guarding this place and keeping the scary stuff in. That's clearly going great.

Some first bosses are a bit of a gimme and this is not one of them.

The key to Phase 1 is space management, which is a fancy way to say put your goo with the

other goo. Keep it all together. Plasma Discharge will target several people with these dark

red circles, and they've got about 4 seconds to get out before they start dropping blood

pools. Have a designated side of the room to put

those in, keep them as tight together as possible and if you have a big defensive cooldown consider

using it to run your discharge right on top of the existing blood. Do that at your own

risk though, this stuff hurts. He'll face a direction and cast Sanguine Static,

which fires out these blood waves. Those do damage and a knockback if they get you, which

is even more embarrassing if it kicks you into a blood pool.

Cudgel of Gore is the big tank mechanic, although it's also kind of an everyone mechanic so

don't skip ahead yet. He'll put this arrow over one of the tanks, and after 4.5 seconds

charge their location and smash down his weapon. That clears all Blood Storms in 18 yards so

the tank should run it to the filled part of the room to clear space.

It also does massive raid damage that drops off with distance, so if you're not the tank

you want to be as far from that as you can get. Laying down a raid marker for the blood

drop location and then a safe zone to stack during Cudgel on the opposite side make this

easy to coordinate. 20 seconds or so after dropping his weapon,

he'll regret his decision and use Retrieve Cudgel. The boss charges to the location of

his weapon, doing big damage and a knockback to anyone in his way. Don't be in his way.

At 60% health we move into Phase Two. The floor starts descending and this is officially

an elevator boss. You can fall off the edges and I don't recommend it. During this part

Taloc is Powered Down, taking 99% less damage and having a little break. He won't attack

so don't worry about him for a bit. Uldir Defensive Beams will criss cross the

elevator shaft. Look down around the edge of the platform and you'll see them coming.

They'll pass through the platform as you descend and they're devastating if you get hit, so

check where they are and be somewhere safe. That gets trickier when you factor in the

main elevator mechanic, which is a fun set of new adds.

Coalesced Bloods will spawn and leave Blood patches under them as they move. A tank should

pick them up and slowly drag them around the border of the platform while everybody nukes

them down. Healing and add positioning is way easier in this phase if everyone stacks

up, so form a tight group near the edge of the platform, keep an eye on incoming beams

and move together. Volatile Droplets will fixate a player and

ooze towards them, which should be towards the stack if everyone is grouped. When they

touch any player they'll pop and disappear, doing some damage and a 5 yard knockback.

The off tank or anybody that's free and can take the hit should run forward into the add

to pop it before it reaches the group. Make sure that you're at least 5 yards clear of

other players and also the edge to avoid kicking yourself or your friends to their deaths.

The elevator phase is by far the most difficult part of this fight, so if you can get through

that you're doing great. When the elevator is almost touched down, you can jump off the

last bit yourself to avoid getting stunned. Once you're at the bottom the boss wakes up

and you enter the final Phase. This is basically just Phase 1 but with more space, and the

fixate adds from the elevator will continue to spawn.

Keep in mind that you can stun them and that the damage from running into them is honestly,

fine as long as you're topped off in health and not bursting them near stacks of players.

Aside from that, keep your hat on, group up the blood, avoid the Cudgel of Gore and you've

got yourself a dead boss. This fight is mechanically identical between

normal and heroic, which should make this a reasonable fight for Normal guilds and Pugs

to farm on heroic for loot. Once your raid's learned how to manage the blood pools the

biggest thing will be the DPS check of killing adds quickly.

So, that is Taloc in Uldir. Thanks for watching! If this video helped you out please consider

leaving me a like. Check out my channel for more raid guides and other WoW stuff and have

a wonderful, wonderful day! Bye.

"Any introduction of a third party in a relationship always spells out trouble." This is something you should know by now.

But just in case you are stubborn and ignore the many examples available in the world, Side Dish is here to paint the worst case scenario and Twitter was ready.

The SABC 1 series, which airs on Sundays, is a prime example of what can go horribly wrong in your life if you decide to "risk it all" with a Ben 10 as a married woman.

Especially if that particular Ben 10 has no concept of loyalty whatsoever, not even to you.

The series, which a gift to Mzansi by Mandla N and his Black Brains pictures, has a stellar cast and a very hot storyline.

The story goes that sis got a Ben 10 but her Ben 10 sleeps with one of the friends.

An argument ensues and Ben 10 is killed.

"By accident." The series has Refilwe Madumo (Amanda), Jo Anne Rayneke (Sli), Matshepo Princess Maleme (Joyce), Thuso Mbedu (Phiwe), Ntando Menzi Ncube (Apollo) and Zali Nxabi (Sergeant Litha), so Twitter already knew it would be a banger! 7 Things You Need to Know about Breakfast - Duration: 6:31.

7 Things You Need to Know about Breakfast

Breakfast is one of the three main meals of the day, and while many people would rather ignore it, it's essential for starting the day productively and happily.

Having breakfast every day makes up for the energy your body loses overnight while giving it the nutrients it needs to function like it should.

In fact, it has been proven that it is a decisive factor in getting your metabolism going and improving your physical and intellectual performance.

However, people still leave the house with empty stomachs or bodies full of inappropriate food for the morning.

That's why it is fundamental to know what breakfast does for you, how to put together a good one, and why it's so important to make it a daily habit.

Here, we'll share 7 interesting facts about breakfast.

1,It prevents obesity.

People who are in the habit of eating a good breakfast tend to have fewer cravings compared to those who do not.

Likewise, there is a greater risk of being overweight or obese when breakfast is minimal or nonexistent.

That's because its nutrients are essential for keeping your metabolism active, a determining factor in calorie burning.

In addition, breakfast keeps you from snacking, which leads to consuming too many calories, fat, and carbohydrates.

"Check this out too: Citrus Fruits Prevent Obesity and Strokes, According to Study".

2,It should be varied.

While you don't need an elaborate meal planned out every day, nutritionists do advise against a monotonous routine.

People usually vary their lunches and dinners, but then eat the same thing every day for breakfast.

The problem is that this lowers its nutritional value and sometimes is the reason people skip it.

Ideally, you should include different sources of:.

Protein. Fiber.

Antioxidants. Vitamins and minerals.

Omega 3 fatty acids.

3,You should spend at least 20 minutes on it.

Eating in a rush is something that can negatively affect your breakfast, and really any meal.

Having coffee and a pastry as you rush out the door to work is not breakfast.

Putting together a nutritionally complete meal is the goal, and setting aside 20 to 30 minutes to eat it.

Rushing doesn't just make you more likely to make bad choices, but can also cause digestive problems.

4,It's OK to break it into two.

A high-quality breakfast is considered to be equivalent to 25% of your daily calorie intake.

However, that doesn't mean you have to eat it all at once.

You can break it into two little meals, such as one at home and another at work a few hours later.

That said, the first one should be the bigger one, since the second shouldn't be more than 10% of your daily calorie intake.

5,It helps with stress.

Most people don't realize it, but beings stressed out and in a bad mood during the day may be the result of a nutritionally poor breakfast.

Going too long without eating lowers your glucose levels, your body's main source of fuel.

This doesn't just mean you'll be low on physical energy, but also translates into irritability, trouble concentrating, and emotional issues.

Your body will look for other sources of energy, and when it finds them, it sets off a series of symptoms that can affect your quality of life.

"We recommend reading: Fruits and Vegetables to Eat for Energy in the Morning".

6,It should be first thing in the morning.

Eating breakfast late can lead to gastritis and other digestive problems.

The longer you go between waking up and eating, the more your appetite grows and the more stomach acid your body produces.

Therefore it's best to eat within an hour of getting up.

If you have trouble eating that early, get your body used to it gradually.

7,It reduces your risk of cardiovascular disease.

It has been proven on various occasions that a balanced, nutritious breakfast lowers your risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.

Not taking the time for it tends to cause problems relating to blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels.

To conclude, it's essential to throw away your excuses for not having a good breakfast every day.

It's an indispensable meal for your body and its most important functions.

Contentment: Despite Worry - Duration: 4:32.

Hey everyone! Pastor Mike here from Time of Grace.

We have been so amazed, impressed and grateful

by your generosity

in our $100,000 challenge grant.

So that more and more people can hear about the amazing things

that Jesus did for us on the cross.

In fact, your generosity inspired a brand new donor family to step forward

and offer a new grant.

Your gift given between now and midnight on August 31st

will be matched up to $3,000.

And we hope once more that our generosity will

not just bless those who know about Jesus,

but reach a whole new generation

that can build their life on grace and on truth.

In fact, as a thank you for your gift,

I would love to send you a copy of a book

by the one and only Pastor Dave Scharf.

It's called, "Our Father: Harnessing the Power of the Lord's Prayer."

So, thank you in advance for your generosity.

Hope you have a great week.

And thank you on behalf of Time of Grace.

It was maybe our fourth night in Africa.

And my wife and I were reflecting with

the nine teenagers that we brought on this mission trip.

And we were thinking about all of the experiences we had.

We went out to this very large school in a village outside of town.

We did a one-day Bible camp

with some Sunday school students in town.

We worshiped,

way outside in the middle of nowhere,

about two hours outside of town.

And as we were reflecting on all of these experiences,

I asked a question that really made everyone think.

Have you seen one person yet

who hasn't been happy?

And it really made us think because

we realized everywhere we went,

everyone we saw,

everyone was happy!

They greeted us with smiles and handshakes and hugs.

Whether it was in big city, Lusaka,

or a little small village in Mwembeshi.

There was this tangible joy

everywhere we went.

Well, then I asked the students a followup question

that I think was really life-changing for all of us.

I asked them,

"Where do you think you would be happier living?

"In Zambia?"

"Or back in the United States?"

And you know what?

Nine teenagers,

every single one said,

"I would probably be happier in Zambia."

This was maybe the most life-changing part of this trip,

when we began to realize

they don't have the anxieties and worries that we're used to in life.

No one there cares

what someone posts about Facebook and Instagram and Snapchat.

They don't have these schedules that are

busy. They're certainly busy but they're not

overwhelmed with

meetings and carting their kids all over town

to AAU games. And

they're not crushed with this push to succeed and

get ahead in life.

Do you ever feel that weight?

Or that burden of American life just pushing and pushing.

All those anxieties and worries were almost nowhere to be found in Zambia.

And I'll tell you,

it was very liberating and enjoyable to experience.

There's probably a lot to this.

But, I think a lot of it goes back to what Jesus says.

In his famous sermon on the mount,

in Matthew chapter 6.

There, Jesus tells us, "Do not worry."

Don't worry about tomorrow.

Tomorrow has enough worry of its own.

God will take care of everything.

Each day has its own trouble.

But the Zambian people understand,

God will get you through each day.

They know they have less than Americans.

They know their lives can be difficult

compared to what we experience.

But their treasures are in heaven and that's what they look forward to.

Maybe you feel things weighing you down right now.

Maybe you feel some anxiety and worry.

Listen to the words of Jesus.

In that famous saying we have in our culture,

"Let go and let God."

God will get you through this day.

And God will get you through tomorrow and the next day and the next day.

God will get you through every day,

until that day he welcomes you into his heavenly gates

where all the treasures are waiting.

That is what can give you hope

and true contentment every day.

WE CALLED THE COPS...| ALLTHERAIGE - Duration: 9:15.

All right we're having breakfast guys! Look who thinks Dada has cookies! I'm

going healthy here with some grapefruit and some bacon and coffee. It's a really

pretty room here. I don't want to like annoy people trying to show you but it is

pretty here! Very nice! There's the view out the

window as you can see it's kind of raining but how is it Rick? Yeah have you

tried it? No! Then you don't know yet! Hey guys so we had a great breakfast I'm just

finishing but anyway we're gonna wait until the rain stops Reid's gonna take a

little nap and then we're gonna go and hopefully get some pictures and check

out a couple other areas in Princeton that we were really hoping on seeing

before heading out later today so we don't have a lot more time just one more

day left but we've had a great time! It's been a lot of fun! Yeah we're excited to

get home too and settle back in and go back to work well probably not Rick but okay we'll

see you later!

Reid can you show us what you got here what do you have here? Are you cooking up

something good? You got some chicken and the frying pan mm-hmm oh it might

be hot is that hot? no that's good! oh it's hot oh yeah isn't it good! Hey guys

so last night it was pretty cool because we were walking around the town of

Princeton and there was a violinist playing all these beautiful songs and he

was really good and so we stopped and sat on a bench and let Reid just take it in

and enjoy hearing the music and watching him play. There was this guy that

was kind of hanging out around with him and at first we thought they were

together but it seemed kind of weird because this other guy was just kind of

like stumbling all over and then he pulled out some alcohol poured it into a

cups and started drinking so we knew he was probably drunk and he was like dancing

really weird and so people were kind of freaked out and just kept passing by and so

after we watched the violin for a while we went over and we just told him

how nice it was and gave him a couple bucks in his little case and he said that he

was frustrated because this other guy was taking away from people watching him

play because they were scared to see him and so you know scared of this other guy

and so they would just keep walking on by and so we said that we felt

really bad about that and that that was a shame.

so anyway we walked on and as we were walking away now guys remember back a

couple of vlogs ago the Princeton vlog actually we talked about how we just

wanted to be doing things that God put on our heart so if there was something

that we thought we should do we just want to make sure that we go for it so I

called the police and I just reported this guy. I just said that he was being

a nuisance and getting in the way of people sitting and watching the violin

player and it was kind of a threat to other people and people were kind of

scared of him and so the police officer thanked us and said they would go check

it out and so we ended up then telling the violinist. We circled back around the

block and told him we had done that just to kind of give him a heads up and he

was so thankful which we were nervous because we thought it was the right

thing to do but you never know perfectly in situations like that what you're

supposed to do and so it ended up working out and he was really thankful

we did that for him and I justthink that he was happy so it all worked out

and also there was a guy right before that that needed money to pay for

parking and I know this sounds crazy but I had 25 cents in my pocket and I

thought earlier in the day I don't know why I stuck that in my pocket because I

usually don't put change in my pocket but I just was walking by and hearing

him wanting to make change with people to get money for the parking meter and

so I just handed him the 25 cents but anyway just a simple thing that I knew

God was saying do that and I did it. It's obviously no sweat off our back

and it made us feel good to be able to help others so we just encourage you

that if you see an opportunity to be a blessing to someone and just go out and do

that and see how God blesses you through it as well so hopefully you're enjoying

this vlog! We're having a lot of fun on our vacation we're getting ready to

check out of the hotel but we have the whole day that we're gonna be doing some

other fun things so be sure to keep watching! Hey guys hey so we're here in

one of the halls of Princeton and just enjoying the architecture and

enjoying the walks and it's actually a rainy day and Rick just like freaked out

because originally just one more thing to add to the crazy stories!

yes I think we always have something crazy that happened so we

just had to keep going with that and this time we've got like ten things yeah they

keeps growing every time. It's like we have three things we've got

five things now we've got ten yes but it's raining and I wanted to get

pictures and I was pretty determined to try to take pictures but my hair's

a mess now and I don't know if it's even worth it but we're still going

to try. Why not. Yeah also last night funny story we camped out in the

bathroom of the hotel room sitting by the toilet in this tiny bathroom eating

chicken wings because we needed Reid to fall asleep first without us sitting there

making noise and because we're in the same room where he was of course. It

was pretty funny just us sitting by the toilet eating

chicken wings! We will insert a picture maybe

like right here yes!

so we're just gonna have fun! It's not really raining too bad as you can see

we're not even barely wet but yeah we're not that wet it's just misting! yeah

you haven't seen like how many times it actually takes to video something

sometimes. Yeah not all the time and usually we just go with whatever but usually

it's just malfunctioning it's not even like us being picky it's just like

the camera was blurry. Yeah someday we want to get a really really

nice vlogging camera but we have to have a lot more subscribers and money coming in on our

channel before we can ever do that so

our camera is okay and let's see what Reid's doing! Hey Reid, guess what? Why are you

eating your hands? Let me see that! Do you like chocolate on your mouth?

You got a cookie! So he did his first two words together today I'm proud of

you he said hi dad! Can you say hi dad ?Yeah he won't do it now

but he was doing it earlier and it was really cute!

all right we're going let's go get these pictures and get out of here!

Look at that cool door guys! All right let's go let's go!

so we are home and Dada and Reid and what are you guys playing with?

oh my goodness! Oh are you cooking?

Oh my goodness you're making peas!

oh that's a square one let's see if a

round one fits on!

goodnight read bye bye! He's leaving! Yep just taking the mustard

to his crib bye! Mama has to put away a couple more things in the dirty clothes

and then we're good to go!

Quick Tip Inking BOLD Stamps - Duration: 1:11.

Hi stampers! Jackie Bolhuis back this week with another quick tip. Today we're

talking about bold stamps --red rubber bold stamps. You know often when you have

a bold stamp like this, the first time you go to stamp with it you do not get a

very good image- that ink just doesn't want to stick to it and it just doesn't

stamp good for you. My solution is a nail file! This is an old nail file; it

actually says Stampin' Up! on it. That is a standard tool in my stamping room. Every

time I grab a bold stamp, well not grab one, the first time I USE a bold stamp I take

my nail file and I actually rough this up...I'll go back and forth this way, back

and forth that way. You're not gonna hurt it so just rough it up okay? You're kind

of getting the coating off of it and this is what's gonna help that ink stick

to it. Then I always like to take my Stampin' mist just give it a little spray.

I have just a towel that I use in my stamp room and wipe it off and now I

like to call this prime or preparing your stamps for their first use. The stamp is

gonna stamp much better! So if you have some stamps that aren't stamping real

good for you grab a nail file rough them up and I

promise you they're gonna work a whole lot better. I hope you like this quick

tip and I'll be back next week with another one. Have a great day!
